Text us about this show.In just a short five year span, Michael Grabner has become one of Wisconsin's most prolific singer-songwriters. From his first album, Restart (2021), to his solo acoustic sophomore effort, A Story I Can't Tell (2023), through the nine singles he's dropped since, Michael's growth and maturity as a songwriter is all on display. Those nine singles are combined with three new tracks for a new album called The Rock Garden Recordings and it's Michael's best collection of songs to date. Every song is performed by the trio of Michael on vocals and acoustic guitar, drummer Ric "Spatula" Armstrong, and Rock Garden Studio producer Marc Golde on everything else. Now Michael has assembled The Ghosts of Electricity, his band that brings these gems to the stage and they more than do these songs justice. Enjoy this special interview that includes a segment recorded at the album release gig at Appleton's Gibson Community Music Hall. Both songs on this show were contributed by and used with the permission of Michael Grabner."Wherever You Are" and "Going Nowhere" written and performed by Michael Grabner℗ 2026 Michael Grabner.Melody Audiology LLCAudiology services for all. We are going out to TENNESSEE to chat with Chris P. James is their front man. He plays keyboards and guitar and harmonica. Writes great songs too. He wound up with the Burrito Brothers in 2009. He was offered and accepted a record deal to make a new Burritos album in 2010 by the group that would trademark the name “Burrito Brothers” and would enable them to continue performing and recording as The Burrito Brothers, thus, continuing the band's legacy. Will James from Gram Parsons International says, ““This latest incarnation is the closest to the original FBB sound of all of the previous bands.” Gram Parsons said it best…The idea'll keep going on. It's not like it's dead or anything. Whether I do it or anybody else does it, it's got to keep going." The band has a new album entitled, The Magic Time Machine of Love, released worldwide on the TLAK record label. For more on The Burrito Brothers check out their website! https://www.theburritobrothers.net

Dublin's own RuthAnne is on Léim Thart today! A major Irish figure of music and the industry, she has been in the game since co-writing 'Too Little Too Late' for JoJo at 17 years old. Since then, she has accumulated over 12 billion streams as a writer, and earned GRAMMY & BRIT Award nominations. Now 20 years into her career, she has a brand-new album 'The Moment' out October 10th, and her book 'It's Not Just A Song' is out now.As an artist, her song 'The Vow' blew up when used in the Love Island 2019 finale, and then was asked personally to sing it at the engagement of finalists Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague. As a writer, she has credits on global hit for likes of Britney Spears, Niall Horan, Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha. RuthAnne has been a champion for songwriters, campaigning for fair payment for writers, often overlooked by the industry.'It's Not Just A Song' is an empowering guide to songwriting and surviving the music industry. RuthAnne speaks to some of the biggest global songwriters about their process and the writer's room, including Amy Allen (Sabrina Carpenter, Harry Styles, Tate McRae, Selena Gomez, Halsey) John Legend (Estelle, Janet Jackson), Dan Wilson (Adele, Dixie Chicks) and Emily Warren (Dua Lipa, The Chainsmokers.)'The Moment' is a love letter to classic songwriting and a reminder that vulnerability and craft are timeless. The Moment was written in some of life's most intimate corners, moments of quiet reflection where she began to ask herself what she truly wanted to say as an artist. RuthAnne plays The Sugar Club in Dublin on 15 October and One Ninety Four in London on 23 October. Tickets available now.Watch this episode on YouTube HEREFollow Ruairí Egan / Léim Thart HERE
