You have impressive credentials, a track record that speaks for itself, and a career that looks exactly right from the outside. And yet something is off. The work has become transactional. Your role has accumulated tasks that don't connect to a strategy. You can see a vision for what you want, but you cannot articulate it — partly because it does not exist yet in any form you have seen before. That is a clarity problem. And more information is not going to solve it.In this episode, I am breaking down why accomplished women in Pharma and Biotech get stuck in a research spiral — and why the fix is not another job change, another course, or more time spent gathering options. What you will learn:Why the brain under uncertainty does not settle into clarity by accumulating more information — and what organizational psychology tells us actually resolves it.How to recognize whether you are solving real problems or hypothetical ones you have invented to avoid committing to a direction. What granular clarity actually requires — and why it is not about a title, a company, or a timeframe. How the Right Move Protocol™ functions as your career's decision-making filter — the process that tells you whether any opportunity in front of you is actually the right one for you.The neuroscience behind why defining a specific target changes what your brain notices, what conversations feel useful, and how you show up when you are not prepared. If you are technically excellent, genuinely accomplished, and still not where you want to be — this episode will show you why that is a protocol problem.Referenced in this episode: The Right Move Protocol™ - Schedule a consultation at yourworthycareer.com/applicationGet the Book: Your Worthy Career: A Science-Backed Method to Build a Meaningful Career in Pharma and Biotech here.Work with Me: Learn more and apply to work with me here.Love the podcast? From Burnout to Business Owner (Client Case Study)In this episode, I'm sharing a powerful career coaching case study with my client, Maren. This week's “How She Finds Purpose” insight comes from Tara Landes. She says – “I think once you've reached that pinnacle or if you're feeling like it's, it's empty or it's not enough, or even if you haven't reached the pinnacle but you're feeling somewhat unfulfilled, I really think that we're social creatures, and we have to find others to share that journey and passion with. Whatever it is, I just I really think that that's what kinda gets missed. We get so caught up on measuring success in terms of money or promotions. And so, really, I think if you're feeling a lack of purpose and a lack of passion, it's time to reach out into the community and find a way to be of service. You'll get way more back than you ever put in.” Tara Landes is the founder of BellRock Benchmark Inc., a Canadian management consulting firm that helps business leaders solve their most challenging problems and implement lasting organizational change. After years of working with small businesses across North America, she returned to her hometown of Vancouver, only to realize that the job she wanted didn't exist - so she built it herself. Drawing from both psychology and business management, Tara has become a trusted advisor to over 300 small business leaders. Here are 3 reasons why you should listen to this episode: You'll hear how one woman turned a career crossroads into a thriving consulting business, without having a “perfect plan” in place. If you've ever felt unfulfilled despite success, Tara shares how finding purpose can come from leaning into your natural strengths, and helping others. You'll get a smart, practical take on building community, navigating hard times, and how being curious about what feels fun can lead to your purpose. Not all those who wander are lost, even those in Wheat, OSR and…Oak trees? One of my favourite things about the podcast is when you get the chance to open up about the career. You normally have heard about most of it but there's always more to learn! Oak was one of my closest friends for 3 years back in my first three years of my undergraduate! Many a beer was drank, late night studying and much more! He's travelled the world, driven semis, been in the police and now operates as an agronomist! I very much enjoyed and I'm sure you will too! Enjoy!
This episode was recorded back in September of this year, but I found it in my audio-files and as I listened to it, I couldn't help but know that it was never published for a reason. It felt as though I spoke directly to myself in my current situation — in the space between this September & this December, I have found myself amid quite a bit of career confusion, not having any answers or knowing what to do, and how to move forward with the unknowing. And it's a reminder that sometimes - we have to remember how far we've come, how much we know, and how much we've forgotten as we get lost in the throws of life. You'll never solve a problem in crisis mode — and taking a step back will always let you see a much bigger picture that you didn't have before. So, as we get into the finality of this year, it is time for reflection, for rest, and to allow ourselves to evolve. To sit with what we really want, balance it with what makes sense for us, and allow the path to be carved for when we know how to walk upon it.On this episode, I give you the run-down on my experience through my educational studies and choices, college, and moving to New York City to figure the rest out. I had a very non-traditional experience through this part of my adolescence, and as hard as it was — it taught me more than I know to be grateful for. I'm still along the journey of Figuring Sh!t Out, as we all will be for the rest of our lives — and this topic is to likely be revisited when I find more answers I didn't have before. But in the mean-time, I will have fun finding them — because in the end, If you spend your whole life trying to get your act together, you don't have a life. You have an act. xxSo much news coming in the new year! Figuring Sh!t Out Season 2 & so much goodness to share very soon TikTok: butterflyfountainYoutube: Vanessa Fontana - Posted a new Video last week!! More like this to come

In today's episode, Dr. Lisle goes over: 1. What would be the stone age benefit for women to seek only compassion and not direct help or solutions? 2. I grew up in a household with parents who successfully left their home countries and “made it” as engineers in the US. I grew up with the expectation that I would follow their trajectory - I completed a bachelors, a masters, and was always “en-route” to medical school. Post-graduate school though, things started to look a little differently for me. I lost academic steam and I fell into mystical, artsy land. Recently, I feel like I woke up from a pity-party slumber. I am getting back on the path to medical school. The problem? I am torn. I find myself battling 3 different lives: a life of sacrifice to others through usage of my scientific aptitude, a life of being a jester and using my charm to brighten people's lives, and a life of solitude in pursuit of philosophical truths. So what do I do? Why have I been torn in this position for the past 3 years since graduate school? Am I stuck in black-or-white thinking and can do all three, or have I subconsciously ran a cost-benefit analysis and have determined certain routes aren't worth it? 3. My sister is in need of bone marrow. As her only sibling, I would be ideal for this and have a 25% chance of matching. But this comes with serious risks for the donor. Unlike my sister, I take good care of myself, eating a whole foods diet. I am not on any medication and avoid taking even aspirins. Also unlike my sister, I am vehemently opposed to taking the vaccine. However, my doctor says that I will likely be forced to take it if I want to be her donor. I could postpone a decision and simply find out if I'm a match, but if I am, I will feel compelled to continue going down this road, a road I'm not sure I want to go down. How do I make this decision?

In this episode, I'm welcoming back a familiar face (and voice), my friend and partner in crime, Jay DuSold. For those who may not know much about Jay, he is the founder of MapInMe Career Coaching for Teens, and as of a few months ago, I began working with him in his coaching business. Last week, Jay and I delivered our first-ever Find Your Fits Career Exploration Workshop for teens and young adults. We offered it in person, in my hometown in central Florida. The workshop was based upon Jay's program and methodology and we tailored it to fit within three evening sessions. Needless to say, it was a jam-packed three evenings but in the end, based on the feedback from our attendees, it was a huge success. At the end of the workshop, we asked participants to provide us with some feedback and we included one important question in particular because we knew that parents would want to know the answer. During our conversation, we are sharing the feedback (anonymously) in the hope that it will help parents and other adults as they guide their teens to life after 12th. Making decisions will always be difficult because it takes time and energy to weigh your options. Things like second-guessing yourself and feeling indecisive are just a part of the process. In many ways, they're a good thing—a sign that you're thinking about your choices instead of just going with the flow. Having difficulty making decisions can be a sign of depression. Many people agonize over decisions. ... Indecision can also stem from anxiety. Fear of making the wrong decision and suffering consequences or remorse inhibits some people. #Career #Motivation #YuvaJosh

Tune in for this transformational discussion at TalkRadio.nyc or watch the Facebook Livestream by clicking here. Segment 1 Sam kicks the show off with his quotes from the Universe and Abraham. The Universe touches on the subject of the uniqueness of everyone's spiritual journey and Sam relates this to his own journey starting back in his college days. Abraham says our natural state of being is feeling good. He also says that happiness is achievable by letting go and focusing on things that make us feel good and lift us up. Sam goes on to introduce his guest today, Tracey Wilen. Wasting no time the conversation launches into the constant presence of technology in daily life and business. Segment 2 The discussion moves to technology in the workplace as well as the market of STEM oriented jobs. The working landscape has also changed with people holding multiple jobs, careers, gigs, etc. Tracey attributes this to the pervasive nature of technology allowing us to do more at any given moment. On top of this some jobs seem to be disappearing almost entirely. Technology seems to have its impact on these too with the emergence of AI and the obsoletion of human workers with introduction of robots and other machine aid. The key is to observe your life around you and see how technology can help you expand or how you can exploit technology. Segment 3 Sam mentions the 13 books that Tracey has authored, and asks her inspiration for her newest books Career Confusion and Digital Disruption. The conversation shifts to steps one can take to prepare oneself for the ever-changing job market coming out of education. One must remain malleable in skill set and be aware of changing technology and how it may help you. Segment 4 Tracey advises job seekers in 2019 to find out what you like to do and are good enough at doing it to get paid for it. On top of that, Tracey says to eliminate the noise around you achieving your goal. One should look at what's around them too to help decide where to focus their energy. Looking to the next five years Tracey would encourage a younger person to focus their energy in security. Tracey says technology is here to help solve problems and be applied and one can look to different fields to apply technology.
