This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, it's the 100th Seshisode. Celebrate 100 episodes with Beau and I. Join us for a constant cloud and 100 minutes of consecutive puffing. To start the sesh off right we have some Cuban Linx by Tribal at 27.7% THC, in the bong, which I hit a couple times. I've also rolled up a few more Cuban Linx joints that we smoke through. In between the Cuban Linx rolls, we smoke some Mocha OG by Green Seal at 24%THC. The theme of the sesh was Sativa as everything we smoked needed to keep us energized. It worked mostly. As we worked our way through some really potent petals we discussed a variety of topics. We started off discussing what it would be like to take a cruise, how big the ships are and the fact that it's basically an island with a destination. Which leads nicely into Beau's scuba diving story which sounded like a great time. I really hope his cruise goes well. I gave Beau the opportunity to tell his side of the stand up comedy club story. I had discussed it on a previous episode and wanted to give him the opportunity to explain his perspective on the situation. Since we're having a smoke sesh celebration. Of course I have to explain how dab rigs work. Because of course I'm going to do a dab and I'm trying some diamonds in the yocan orbit. I'm telling you, it's the perfect portable dab rig. Once the high started to set in we got all educational and talked about my experience with Slaughter House 5, the Kurt Vonnegut book. Here's a hint, it involved a lot of weed and resulted in a completely changed perspective. We let you know our favourite types of weed, the reasons we liked indica's, sativa's and hybrids. The differences between the highs and how Thc percentage doesn't really matter if you have a well cultivated plant. We also take some time to review what we're smoking. As mentioned before we were smoking, Cuban linx, Mocha OG, but I am also adding in Wagners Blue Lime Pie Diamonds, in the yocan orbit. Nugz Fresh Frozen Hash Resin, in the dab rig and Live Resin Hash from Green Seal in the journey pipe. We had to add in a little talk about what accessories help us achieve the ultimate smoking experience. If I'm smoking joints it's gotta be glass tips. There is a huge difference in flavour and experience when you use them. You know what the difference is between getting hooked on BT's vs Poppers? Nothing they both end up making it so you have to have one every 15 minutes. Have you ever been serenaded with a dab song? well stick around until the end when I do a dab and sing a song. You know this sesh is a pretty good bang for your buck. You get a variety of reviews, a solid 100 minute smoke sesh with everything from flower to concentrates and few insights in to things you didn't know you cared about. Even though we had some technical difficulties and phone calls near the end of the sesh. I think we held it together pretty well and had a good time, I hope you had a good time and enjoyed smoking along. Happy wine Wednesday! Today is part two of our conversation with my anonymous guest with the alias "Mr Wilson Creek". It's time to get spicy! He gets into the topic of poppers and bathhouses, including his personal experiences with the two. He ends off the episode with his thoughts on being gay and Latino, and how that has affected his relationships among his religious family members. There's mentions of machismo, being accepted and religion. Also.... he just nonchalantly mentioned an exorcism like nothing???? LMAO trust you need to listen to know what I am talking about. He gets real deep today so I hope you enjoy today's episode and appreciate his vulnerability as much as I did. Betsy and Greg celebrate the movies that were nominated or should have been nominated for Academy Awards in 1992
After The French Connection and The Exorcist, William Friedkin needed something big. Something bold. Something daring. And when someone brought him the novel Cruising he found a property that more than fit the bill. Unfortuantely, it also ended up being a quagmire of political controversy and ambiguous plot lines that modern audiences are still trying to figure out. Rob teachers Ray about the origins of the movie Cruising, including the original novel; what made William Friedkin decide to set his adaptaion within the world of 1980s BDSM gay clubs; how Friedkin's commitment to authenticity resulted in such graphic scenes that he was forced to leave chunk of the movie on the cutting room floor; the severe backlash this movie faced from gay rights advocates across the country who; James Franco's take on the whole thing; and how this movie, despite all its issues, continues to fascinate audiences as they ask themselves: is Cruising deliberately provocative and intricate, or just terrible? Molecular biologist Jerneja Caserta was born in Slovenia and got her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology in Italy. In 2002 she received her PhD at the same University studying function of proteins that participate in protein synthesis. However, since 2020 she has had to question much of what was previously taken for granted (and still is by her colleagues). In this informative and entertaining episode Jerneja takes us on her journey and process of awakening, which began primarily when she heard that PCR technology was being misused to diagnose so-called “co(n)vid-19” cases. As it happens, Jerneja has over 25 years of experience working with PCR technology and immediately recognised something was seriously wrong with the Narrative. As she quickly realised, there is no c-19 v!rus, and v!rology is a fraudulent branch of science controlled by Big Ph@rma. She now watches her colleagues for the day they too open their eyes and see the truth. Also discussed: her time as a member of the Left, her dalliance with communism, and her nascent interest in exploring the nature of reality and spirituality free of the fetters of the Roman-Catholic indoctrination of her youth. Find the FULL episode and all my members-only multimedia content at: Truthiversity.com Special Guest: Jerneja Tomsic.

This week Thomas, Chris, & Dusty discuss the follow-up to "What If It's Us" with "Here's to Us" by Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli and dive into the history of poppers.
Jalapeño poppers as you know them now probably originated sometime in the 1980s. What is certain is that, on April 30, 1992, the phrase “jalapeño popper” was trademarked by Anchor Food Products. Heinz later acquired the name and began to distribute pre-made jalapeño poppers in a frozen form. All we had to do was deep fry the peppers and enjoy. Today, the term is pretty much a household name, and can be found in many restaurants as one of their go-to appetizers. Well, I want to take THIS version of the popper up about 10 levels in highfalutincy, and I think your guests are going to shower you with praises.
