On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about how a Wisconsin man claims he saw an unidentified creature he believed looked like a “pterodactyl”. The anonymous man said he and his father were driving home last August at about 2 p.m. when they came upon the creature. The eyewitness says the animal was approximately 6 feet tall and had “skin instead of feathers on its wings.”“Like a bat,” he said. “It looked like a pterodactyl or some kind of angel.” Then, a person claims that they stayed at a very strange Hampton Inn near Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Over the course of 3 nights he had the same disturbing dream about the bathroom light coming on and a large black mass hovering over him while he and his wife slept. It was only months later that he discovered that his wife had seen the same strange thing. After the break, the boys have teamed up with Parcast, and on this episode they are releasing the first episode of the new podcast called "Assassinations". This first episode is about the tragic shooting of President John F. Kennedy. One death can change the world. At least, that's what assassins believe. Assassinations recounts history's most dramatic deaths.Through little-known facts, "what-ifs?" and examining assassin's motives, we examine how one murder can alter the course of history. A new episode releases every Monday. Assassinations is a production of Cutler Media and part of the Parcast Network. All of this and more on this installment of Expanded Perspectives! Her soul wanted more - new experiences, a different location, more passion, and fulfillment. She followed her heart and is now living her dream life - in LA, traveling often, full-time in her passion, and happier than ever. “ Join us in this episode of Raw Talk with Sheena as we connect with Laina through the obstacles of her recent life transformation, as she takes us through the process of how she completely flipped her life. ________ Laina Caltagirone is an attorney turned manifestation expert. In Ryan’s second guest episode of Raw Talk with Sheena, the Basic Witches and Raw Talk listeners requested more detailed information on how to begin lucid dreaming. CBD is the lesser-known compound in cannabis, the quiet sister molecule to noisy THC. It doesn’t get you high, but it effectively treats an enormous number of illnesses including pain, arthritis, insomnia, and anxiety (everything from PTS to stage fright). It is also a powerful anti-inflammatory—20 times as potent as aspirin and twice as strong as cortisone – with none of the side effects. The big problem with CBD is the price. In the absence of federal regulation (Yes, Republican listeners, regulation can be a good thing) companies are charging from 5 cents/mg to 60 cents/mg, simply because they can. Even worse, the eye-bleeding prices have no bearing on quality. This article, by yours truly, explores why the price of healing is so damn high and how educated patients can find lower-cost, higher-quality CBD products. This week's podcast dives into the topic with Jesse Stanley, one of the founders of CW Hemp, Colorado’s largest hemp-CBD producer. He and his family shot to fame when Dr. Sanjay Gupta featured their high-potency hemp CBD oil on his 2013 documentary, "Why I Changed My Mind on Weed," and showed it cutting the number of epileptic seizures that young Charlotte Figi suffered from 300 a day to 3 a week.If you’re interested in CBD -- and if you have pain, stress or any other age-related challenge, you should be -- and if you’re in NYC August 15, please join us at The Alchemist’s Kitchen to hear a special live podcast with Dr. Junella Chin, one of the finest and most experienced medical cannabis physicians in the country. Dr. Chin will talk about how to best use CBD and why it is key to the future of medicine. Don’t miss it. She’s a brilliant healer and a fantastic speaker.
HVMN Podcast: Evidence-based Nutrition, Fitness, & Biohacking
Joel Stanley, the CEO of CW Hemp, joins us on the THINKING Podcast to discuss the origins of his family-run CBD company, the state of the rapidly growing industry, and how his CBD product can be used for biohacking. The inception of his company is especially interesting. CW Hemp breeds high CBD plants, the cannabinoid substance in cannabis and hemp that is non-psychoactive (by having very little THC) but maintains documented medicinal benefits, known for its anti-anxiety and anticonvulsant effects. Their flagship product was used to stop Charlotte's epileptic seizures, a little girl who had gone through every other medical procedure to no avail. Her usage of the product was featured in a CNN documentary and garnered national media coverage, and the product was then named after her. Since then, CW Hemp not only provides biohackers with a product that can protect the brain but also continues to be a beacon of hope for parents with children in similar situations. SUBSCRIBE for weekly episodes that will make you THINK!

Instead of me interviewing the guest, I've brought back one of the podcast's first guests and a good friend, Sacha Jones of Stiggly's Holistics NYC, to interview me. I'm calling it a special birthday episode as well as a sort of podcast birthday / anniversary. It's been over four years since I started this and so much has changed over those years with me, the podcast, the blog, and the direction I want things to go. For long time pod listeners, thank you for all your support as I've changed and so has the show. And for new listeners, thank you too for giving the podcast a chance and feel free to check out some of those early (and very different) episodes from the younger days of the podcast (and the host). Sacha dives into so many topics many of them inspired from the listener questions in the Facebook Group. You'll hear us discuss where I'm at now with body image, wellness, feminism, feeling feelings, my upcoming move to NYC, where I want my work & podcast to go, my new relationship (!!), plus some fun quick-fire questions.... links to everything we mention are below as always. — Show Sponsors —care/ofI'm really loving Care/Of supplements. Full show notes here. I'm excited to introduce you to another one of my friends from the Ram Dass retreat. If you haven't heard about the retreat or Ram Dass yet we talk all about both in this episode. My guest today Jonathan Leland gives a great background of Ram Dass and how he started following his work. Jon, much like Ram Dass is one of the smartest, most fascinating people I've ever met. I've been excited to have him on the podcast since meeting him. He has such a creative, unique and inquisitive approach to life which comes through in our conversation. Some of you may remember the animal meditations I shared in my past newsletter. These are just one small example of the innovative and inspirational things Jonathan does. We explore topics like community, psychedelics, death, and the inevitable changes of life and learning to re-love every new and changed moment and situation. He beautifully describes this as the 'dance between change and love' in life. The whole conversation is so rich and nourishing for the soul. I hope you love it as much as I do. — Show Sponsors — — Aaptiv — Try it FREE for 30 Days Enter the code "LetItOut" at checkout I 'm loving Aaptiv so much. I love today's episode with comedian, writer, and actor Andrew Michaan. As usual it's a long meandering conversation covering everything from relationship and to body image advice, to creativity, to spirituality and God. You may remember hearing about him on the episode I did with his girlfriend Andreé Vermeulen and ever since that episode aired I've been excited to share this conversation I recorded with Andrew. He's not only super talented as a performer, as a person he's super wise and fascinating. We talk about a bunch of things that inspire us from the beverages we're into, to the tools he uses to stay productive and creative. All the notes for everything we discuss are in the show notes and be sure to check out our sponsors (also below), they help keep the podcast alive. I use and love every sponsor that comes on the show. Let me know what you guys think of this episode by tweeting at us or mentioning it in the Facebook Group. Today on Hempire Dr. Mitch Earleywine is joined by Ashley Grace, Lead Marketing and E-Commerce for Charlotte's Web premium hemp extract; www.CWHemp.com. For thousands of years hemp has been used for a variety of wellness needs and it's cannabinoids are patented as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant. Their proprietary hemp extract, Charlotte's Web, has a variety of wellness applications and is named after little Charlotte Figi. Originally in hospice suffering over 300 seizures per day and with little hope for survival, Charlotte is now in the third grade and thriving. In collaboration with Johns Hopkins University and others, CW proudly donates a portion of each purchase to study how CW may aid a variety of disorders such as Inflammation, Anxiety, Alzheimer’s, Pain, Epilepsy and others. Charlotte's Web is the world's most-trusted hemp extract. Imagine what it can do for you when added to your healthy routine.
Today on Hempire Dr. Mitch Earleywine welcomes back Joel Stanley, Founder of CW Hemp to discuss the possible avenues of cannabis development. A great debate is emerging around whether naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant should be developed as pharmaceutical drugs or dietary supplements. Just how far will special interests go to control these compounds in the cannabis plant? CW Hemp is a Colorado family-owned business & exclusive provider of Charlotte’s Web™, the World’s Most Trusted Hemp Extract™. They believe in Quality, Purity, Integrity & Giving Back. CW Hemp's products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Hosts Joel Stanley and Dr. Mitch Earleywine discuss the Resurgence of Hemp on the debut episode of Hempire, presented by CW Hemp.
