f there's a qualification list to be a modern day renaissance woman, Marla Mase checks all the boxes - writer, actor, musician, raconteur and, above all, magnetic performer. Although she's been immersed in all manner of the arts for almost three decades, she didn't emerge from her musical cocoon until the early 2000s. Since then, she's performed to rapturous audiences from the Bowery to Beijing, collaborated with iconic producer/bassist Bill Laswell, received a Messenger of Peace award from The Friends of the UN, launched True Groove Records with songwriter/guitarist/producer Tomás Doncker, and holds the unique distinction of having all of her albums transformed into full theatrical productions. Maureen Vanherberghen (Qmusic, ‘Vlaanderen Vakantieland') en Sieg De Doncker (‘The Voice Kids', ‘Een frisse start') zijn helden. En, wat handig is voor deze film: hij is ook een fervent gamer, dus iemand die de referenties in deze ‘Wreck-It Ralph' begrijpt. Maar, zo bleek, ook een fanatiek snoeper. Shannon welcomes Heather Powell, an NYC-based actress, singer & songwriter. Estudió Gestión de empresas, Economía e hizo un posgrado en “Comunicación medioambiental”. Cuando llegó a Argentina trabajó cinco años para un Banco Francés y ahí lo trasladaron a Francia donde vivió otros 5 años hasta que en 2007 volvió a Argentina porque su esposa extrañaba su país pero antes puso una condición: trabajar en lo que realmente quería hacer. Su primer experiencia independiente fue un emprendimiento que desarrolló junto a su mujer, en el que vendían productos relacionados con medio ambiente pero después de un tiempo decidió volver a la relación de dependencia y trabajó en una asociación que daba microcréditos. Le ofrecieron encarar un proyecto de venta de productos ecológicos online y así fue que regreso al camino independiente pero luego de dos años le propusieron importar equipos solares para comercializar y volvió a trabajar para una empresa. Al no sentirse del todo a gusto con las políticas de la compañía para la que trabajaba, en paralelo, comenzó a desarrollar su pyme actual de venta de equipos solares con una socia, antes de renunciar decidió conseguir financiamiento y una primera importación. En 2016 lanzó @Soleventus, buscando desarrollar un proyecto global de protección del medio ambiente y certificó como Empresa B. El peor momento de su emprendimiento fue cuando su socia le dijo que quería dejar el negocio y así fue que acordaron que él se quedaba con la empresa pero también con las deudas que habían contraído. En la segunda etapa de su emprendimiento sin socios, repensó su estrategia de negocio: la enfocó a un segmento determinado, a aumentar la calidad de sus equipos y a invertir en capacitación. De su experiencia aprendió que “Cuando buscás un socio, tenés que ser complementario”. Mejor consejo de negocios que recibió: “Mejor vender aunque sea al costo que quedarse con la mercadería” porque hay un movimiento que se genera y ese movimiento genera energía y esa energía te va a permitir avanzar y crecer. De su negocio le apasiona saber que está haciendo algo positivo, ayudando a la toma de conciencia colectiva, poder transmitir que a nuestro alrededor hay cosas que le pueden mejorar la vida y a la vez cuidar el medioambiente. Marla Mase is a writer/performer/producer/singer/songwriter from New York City. She writes songs, plays, monologues, short stories, erotica, blogs, and poems. She is known for her gutsy, sexy, raw performance style and her intelligent lyrics and is regarded by her peers as a true musical pioneer.  Her songs, a mix of world beat, spoken word, funk, r&b, punk, soul, and classic rock-n-roll are infused with GLOBAL SOUL, the signature sound of  Tomás Doncker, her guitarist, co-writer  and producer . She is backed by his band, the Tomás Doncker Band.  Marla is also SVP of Marketing/A&R with True Groove Records, a label she runs with Tomás Doncker.  Tomás Doncker As a prime mover on New York’s downtown “No Wave” scene in the early 1980s, Tomás Doncker cut his teeth as a guitarist with such genre-busting groups as James Chance & The Contortions, Defunkt, J. Walter Negro & The Loose Jointz and many more. Eventually he went international, touring and recording in Japan with jazz pianist Masabumi Kikuchi, and producing studio and songwriting sessions with Boosty Collins, Yoko Ono,  Reggae vocal group The Itals, and producer Prince Charles Alexander, to name just a few. Since then, Doncker has continued to work with an A-list of iconic artists including Ivan Neville, Bonnie Raitt, Meshell Ndegeocello, Living Colour lead singer Corey Glover, former P-Funk keyboardist Amp Fiddler,Shamekia Copeland,and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa. He also frequently collaborates with legendary Producer/Bassist Bill Laswell, and his ongoing "Power Of The Trinity" project was featured on CNN on November 27,2012 (Jimi Hendrix' birthday).His most recent project is "Big Apple Blues",his 2nd collaboration with Pulitzer Prize winning Poet Yusef Komunyakaa.  

  Ryan Donckers has worked in every component of the sports industry paradigm. A punter at Eastern Washington University, Donckers’ parlayed his student-athlete acumen into a job as Director of Ticket Sales at the Spokane Indians MiLB team. Donckers has the ability to share both sales knowledge on the ticket and corporate sales side, as a former corporate sales rep for Washington State University and IMGL. Now as the Director of Sports Sales for Red Lion Hotels, Doncker’s job is trying to accommodate large football rosters, as well as create the meeting spaces necessary for football operations directors to smoothly transition toward game time.
