Ran into a lot of people in these Internet streets. But it's Brother is a genuinely good positive of Lawyer. Ladies, a gentlemen @kaleafwains is a ball of positive energy. He can find them on Instagram, spreading positivity and uplifting everybody. He's like A Brooklynite Gary Vee. Dula and myself sat down and had a conversation with him. And even Dula was moved by his words. Great positive conversation, and we also touch on some trauma. Enjoy.
Talk about spontaneous. And this episode. Dula and I were about to record and simply ask a gentleman that we met at the alchemist DJ Premier concert to have a quick conversation. And right as I was texting him. He called and not only. Did he called. He had his friend with him that he wanted us to interview as well. I was joined by Two, flushing Queens and natives. Milz and AZ (not the rapper AZ). Great, hip-hop conversation. It could've been titled Barbershop talk, but we changed it. We eats discuss our hip-hop, top fives, as well as parenting and different eras of hip-hop. Great overall conversation that happened in real time. Getting to know these two gentlemen. Enjoy

After losing the vocals to the episode we recorded the day before, we decided to record the very next day. Dula came to the crib and we started off talking out about hip-hop samples by Pete Rock & his production on remixes back then. We then get into talking about How New Yorkers are able to hand down public housing apartments to their children without the rent increasing. We then get into a conversation about Marvin from Raising Kanan and discussing where does he rank amongst the top shooters in the Power universe as well as all black Hood TV series. Dula also shares a very interesting story of when he was young, and the types of records his mother would play which says a lot. Glad to be back recording. Enjoy.

Late in the week, but we always deliver. In this episode, Dula and myself review the Kevin Hart roast and all it's glory and ups & downs. We then have a conversation about the back-and-forth between Jason Lee and Peter Rosenberg that occurred earlier in the week on ERL. We then call Tajheem( our official OVO spokesperson) and discuss the surprise Three album drop of Drake, which is the talk of the Internet at this point. Tyheem gives his thoughts after a quick listen. Tons of jokes as usual. Quick episode. Enjoy.
In this episode, we start off with Dula. Having a hard time. Dealing with the Boston Celtics. Losing game. Seven in the NBA finals. We then go into celebrating the two-year anniversary of the Kendrick, Drake Battle and our opinions on it now. In hindsight. We then give a quick and prompt to Michael Jackson. Review more of the person rather than the movie. We also discussed Markt on Hill and Joe Budden. arguing about Megan Clay Thompson. Lots of jokes back-and-forth. We also highlight Terrence Smart, in who was one of the produces of 1500. Or nothing On Kendrick Lamar to pimp a butterfly.
Thank you. Everybody who continues to listen. This is a nice quick episode for all of you. In this episode. We review my first experience at an NBA playoff game. Dula and myself and his brother-in-law and nephew. All went to see Game four of the NBA finals. Celtics versus the 76ers in Philadelphia, of course. And this episode I am joined by Dula's nephew Tajheem to have a hip-hop conversation. Being that he is almost 20 years younger than us, we have a generational discussion and discuss what he likes and how he listens to hip-hop versus the way we normally would. We have a nice interesting conversation about Drake and Jay-Z and it's a totally different perspective from somebody younger that you wouldn't expect. Enjoy.
In this episode, I am joined by Cordell and Vinny. We start off talking about hip-hop maturing and how it should sound being in your 40s. We then for some odd reason fell into talking about the Drake and Kendrick beef and whether Drake should continue with the lawsuit or not. We also have a conversation about lyricist and ghostwriters and whether it really matters or not. Then: SPOILER ALERT!!! Vinny and myself give our breakdowns to the first three episodes of daredevil season two as well as our opinions and thoughts and hypotheticals on the season finale of Paradise season two. Dula calls in and gives his thoughts as well his theories of the season finale. Great episode if I do say so myself. Enjoy.
Consistency is key. And this episode Dula, and myself are joined by Jonathan AKA @Ethos Decorum. Fellow creative and a clothing enthusiast, we discuss hip-hop clothing brands as well as the differences in fashions and dress codes by states. Of course hip-hop comes into the conversation and we discuss music taste being that he's from the Maryland/DC area. As creatives, we all seem to enjoy comics 90s hiphop & fashion. This one is no different. Great history, lesson on hip-hop clothing in the influence it has had on the current fashion houses. Enjoy

Very inspirational episode. Dula and myself had the pleasure of interviewing a creative and motivated retired street pharmacist turned movie, Director, actor, and author. Then moving to Jamaica Queens in High School. We talk about the stigma of Haitians in the early 90s as well as his transition from wanting to be a basketball player to falling into the streets in the early 80s. If you know me, you know that I have never been a sports type of Dude. In this episode Dula & his cousin Anthony, and his friend Mane, all New Yorkers, and sports fanatics. Try to convince me, or get to the bottom of why I'm not invested in sports or really care about it at all. They tried to have an intervention, if you will. I even call my Brother to assist. Totally funny conversation. Lots of New York. Slang and jokes all around. One for the books. Enjoy.
