And this episode I am joined by Dula's nephew Tajheem to have a hip-hop conversation. In this episode, Dula and myself go over our trip to New York. Actually, it was both of our first time being in a story of Queens. Thank you to CARLOS from classic material. Very inspirational episode. Dula and myself had the pleasure of interviewing a creative and motivated retired street pharmacist turned movie, Director, actor, and author. Luc Stephen is a Haitian born Jamaica Queens (by way of Boston) entrepreneur creative who has an amazing story. We talk about his beginnings in Boston, Massachusetts. Then moving to Jamaica Queens in High School. We talk about the stigma of Haitians in the early 90s as well as his transition from wanting to be a basketball player to falling into the streets in the early 80s. We then go into his transition from jail to becoming a fitness Coach to then getting bit by the Director bug & wanting to direct movies. Definitely a Man of many hats. Great story. Enjoy.
