POPULARITY
Doch warum kon

It is Thursday on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast. In this episode, during the Front Page, there is some sad news. Eight students were shot at a bus, leaving two students in critical condition. All students attended Northeast High School, and their ages range from 15-17 years of age. Previously it was said that Beyoncé's Ivy Park fashion brand was cutting ties with Adidas. It is now said that the Ivy Park brand is having trouble finding another brand to partner with due to the poor sales during Ivy Park's run with Adidas. Stephen A. Smith revisits the time when he said that Rihanna is great, but she is no Beyoncé. Well, those comments did not sit well with Jay Z and he had to give Stephen A. Smith a phone call. While Smith was supporting Jay Z's wife, the Roc Nation CEO had to let Smith know that Rihanna is family too and that was not okay. All of this and more on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast. When will you start seeing yourself as a business? Are you an Ivy Park or are you Yeezy? How will you use the leverage of what you bring to an employer to create balance and fairness? What does fairness look like to you and why do you sit comfortable in an unequal relationship with your employer? In this episode we will also discuss the work I had to do in working through my wedding blessing and in turn this triggering the lack of a mother daughter relationship. Mourning the fantasy sold separately of the conventional relationship and being honest on how milestones however painful remind me of how far I have come. What's good, Pitmasters?! Being that it's the last Friday of February, we figured we'd send BHM out with a bang talking about 2 well known black actors. There seems to be some folk who are not to happy with Jonathan Majors' 'Ebony' photoshoot, and Idris Elba is on the record saying he doesn't want to be considered a black actor any more. We then try and figure out why the Bee Hive ain't out here buying up all the IVY PARK merch from Adidas and Robert Kelly getting another 20 years slapped onto his 30 that he's already serving. Don't worry, we'll talk about funny stuff too!Tap in with the homies!#JonathanMajors #IdrisElba #Beyonce #IvyPark #RKellyWanna join in on the discussion?
