Zora und Hanna starten mal wieder unverschämt früh in die Woche. Während Hanna sich zu Hause auf Decaf-Bohnen umgestellt hat, trinkt Zora die nussige „Mischgold“-Filterkaffee-Variante. Hanna schwärmt von ihrem Familientreffen im wunderschönen Breslau inklusive Matcha-Läden und Nacht-Halbmarathon. Passend dazu die Gastro-News: In Polen wurden frisch die Michelin-Sterne verteilt und das Restaurant Barber in Breslau wurde mit der ersten Küchenchefin des Landes ausgezeichnet. Zora blickt derweil auf ein riesiges 40-Personen-Wochenende bei Husum zurück. Der absolute Downer am Moor: Winzige „Gnitzen“ haben die gesamte Meute zerstochen. Gewisse Lockpflanzen im Gemüsegarten ziehen Schädlinge an. Sie werden anstelle der Gemüsepflanzen befallen, das Gemüse bleibt dank ihnen verschont. Jetzt aktuell: Blattläuse, Fadenwürmer, Schnecken, Spargelhähnchen, Rapsglanzkäfer. Blattläuse saugen Pflanzensaft und schwächen die Pflanzen: · Niedrige Kapuzinerkresse einzeln zu den Bohnen, zum Salat oder ins Rüebli- und Kohlbeet säen. Sie zieht Blattläuse magisch an. · Nach dem massenweisen Befall wegnehmen und der Grünabfuhr mitgeben. Rapsglanzkäfer sind winzige, kleine, schwarze Käfer, die zuerst in der Landwirtschaft die Knospen des Raps schädigen. Danach tauchen sie massenweise in den Gärten auf und befallen die Brokkoliknospen. Diese sind nicht mehr essbar. · Brokkoli in der Mitte des Beetes setzen, rechts und links davon Asiasalat säen. · Zu Beginn wie Schnittsalat ernten, er wird in der Wärme schnell aufstängeln und blühen und dadurch die Rapsglanzkäfer an sich binden. Im Boden leben verschiedene Fadenwürmer. Einige Arten befallen die Wurzeln von Rüebli, Sellerie, Bohnen, Salat, Zwiebeln, Erbsen und Lauch und schwächen sie. · Studentenblumen (Tagetes patula) überall dazwischen setzen. Die Nematoden saugen an den Wurzeln, die giftigen Saft enthalten und sterben ab. Spargelhähnchen schädigen die Spargeln durch Frass und legen ihre Eier an den Stängeln ab. Die Larven fressen an den Blättern und schwächen die Pflanzen. · Dünne Stangen als Ablenkfutter stehen lassen. Sie sind für den Käfer attraktiver, da sich die Knospen schnell öffnen. · Nachdem ab Mitte Juni die Eier abgelegt wurden, abschneiden und dem Grünkompost mitgeben. · Im Herbst sämtliches Spargelkraut abschneiden und dem Grünkompost mitgeben, da die ausgewachsenen Spargelkäfer zum Teil in den Stängeln überwintern. Schnecken fressen mit Vorliebe zarten Salat oder junge Kohlpflanzen. · Einen Streifen Studentenblumen (Tagetes) oder grünen Schnittsalat am Beetrand von Kohl, Salat einsäen. Es zieht die Schnecken an und hält sie vom Gemüse im Innern des Beetes ab.
