Comedian Aries Spears is trending again after he went on a rant on social media about Chicago Sky’s, Angel Reese and Indiana Fever’s, Caitlin Clark.” Spears harshly compared the two players and started out his rant by saying it’s not about race. On Instagram, Spears called Angel Reese, “Hot Garbage” and in the same breath, said Caitlin Clark is “Bananas” or “the truth.” He said that maybe if Angel Reese “spent more time in the gym instead of trying to be a runway model and be cute, we wouldn’t have this problem.” Spears said we need to stop using the race card… it’s about ball… who’s good and who’s not. It was not just Spears’ message that enraged fans, it was his profanity and the disrespectful jabs he made at Reese.Steve Harvey Morning Show Online: http://www.steveharveyfm.com/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Nashville is home of hot chicken, and tonight, it brought us some hot garbage but not a bad show. We start off with an AJ Promo, Match and (what we believe) an injury angle. Then the fun starts. Chelsea Green and Michin in a Dumpster Match was fantastic. The backstage segments after were even better. The Bailey and Nia segment has us wanting more Tiffy Time. Naomi and Tiffy had a great match, but not the ending we want. Finally the ladder match was amazing. This is the best SmackDown of 2024. Check us out at SmackDaddies.ca or on the Huge Pop Network! "The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are finalizing their double-feature breakdown of the "Alien" franchise, this time focusing on the more action-oriented entries, 1986's "Aliens" for the Classic film entry and 1997's "Alien: Resurrection" for the Cult film entry. You may be surprised which of the two Ben prefers. Available on Apple and Spotify Episode 292 includes: -Is Armie Hammer a cannibal? -"Shadow in the Clouds" is entertaining despite the icky Max Landis of it all. -Ben genuinely loves COVID-made "Locked Down," and Nate is simply stunned. -Classic Film -- "Aliens" (1986) -James Cameron's sci-fi blockbuster is still a classic example of big filmmaking and iconic moments. -Cult Film -- "Alien: Resurrection" (1997) -The much-maligned final chapter with Ripley might be schlocky, but could it also be the best movie of the series?"
"The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are starting 2021 by tackling the "Alien" franchise but splitting the four movies along tonal lines, so this week will be the more horror/thriller based films, with 1979's "Alien" as this week's Classic and 1992's "Alien 3" as this week's Cult. Stay tuned for the other half in the next podcast. Available on Apple and Spotify Episode 291 includes: -One week later, storming the Capitol to overthrow democracy at the behest of Donald Trump still seems like a bad idea. -Ben lauds "The Prom" as exactly what he needed. -Nate shares two foreign, depressing, but artistic and meaningful movies -- "Beanpole" and "Collective." -Classic Film -- "Alien" (1979) -The OG "Alien" movie that kicked things off with a chest-bursting flourish, but might it be a little dated, slow, and... quaint? -Cult Film -- "Alien 3" (1992) -David Fincher's first movie has quite a bad reputation, but is it the disaster it's been made out to be?"

"The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are performing yet another directorial double feature and this time the lucky artist is Robert Zemeckis. The guys are revisiting 1992's "Death Becomes Her" as their cult movie of the episode and his follow-up, 1994's "Forrest Gump," as the classic edition. Shocker: both are pretty great and Ben and Nate have the hot take of hot takes for "Gump." Available on Apple and Spotify Check us out at Patreon.com/dirtysonsofpitches Episode 288 includes: -Tom Cruise goes off on crew members about COVID safety and splits the guys down the middle. -Pixar's "Soul" feels a little lacking in that department. -"Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" and "One Night in Miami" are two great ensembles worth your time. -"Wonder Woman 84" doesn't quite soar. -Cult Film -- "Death Becomes Her" (1992) -The dark comedy pitting Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn against one another is a fun, underrated slapsticky dark comedy worth revisiting. -Classic Film -- "Forrest Gump" (1994) -Forget everything you thought you knew about the Best Picture Oscar-winner from 1994. "Forrest Gump" is one of the most subversive, cynical, and ironic movies of recent memory and everyone missed it!//'

This week Mayor Johnston rolled out a new program that would pay teens extra money for working a summer job. Will the infusion of cash be an effective way to curb youth violence? Meanwhile, the Colorado GOP sent a letter to families encouraging them to pull children out of public schools before they “turn more kids trans” — but the political benefit of this maneuver remains to be seen. Then, the Mile High's new compost program was supposed to do wonders for our waste, but it seems more like hot garbage. Producer Paul Karolyi and host Bree Davies are joined by comedian and Casa Bonita immersive actor Joshua Emerson to dig into these stories, plus the mayor's low approval ratings, Denver sports fans' low morale, and the low blows of a new hysteria-laced documentary on fentanyl. Joseph Parker defeated Deontay Wilder and ruined everyone's most wanted Christmas present that is Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder. The performance from Joseph Parker was nothing short of fantastic and Parker deserves all the praise and big name fights he gets going forward. Not to take away from Jospeh Parker but Deontay Wilder looked like HOT GARBAGE! It also makes sense that Joseph Parker trains with Tyson Fury, the only other man to beat Deontay Wilder. In addition to Deontay Wilder losing to Joseph Parker, we will talk about Anthony Joshua beating Otto Wallin better than Tyson Fury did. Anthony Joshua has got much criticism for looking bad since the Andy Ruiz loss. But this fight marked a return of sorts. But I won't be so quick to say AJ is “back” per se. I want to see that from him in his next couple fights before I can say that he's back. Regardless, it was a throwback performance from Anthony Joshua with the fifth round finish of Otto Wallin. What's next for the former heavyweight champ? Lastly, we talk everyone's favorite decision merchant: Dmitry Bivol. He took on Lyndon Arthur and looked great. Dmitry Bivol dominated the fight from bell to bell but lacked that killer instinct that we all love from him. Bivol is great but what did it cost us? All 12 rounds of 1-2's and 1-1-2's. Does Dmitry Bivol face Artur Beterbiev next? What did you think of Joseph Parker defeating Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua returning to form and Dmitry Bivol cruising to the win?
