Surge pricing. When there is a lot of demand for rideshares, fares can double or triple their usual rate – or even more. But a first-of-its-kind bill is looking to slow the surge in Washington State. SB 5600 would cap surge pricing and make sure drivers get more of a share of those extra dollars. The bill was inspired by the expected flood of attendees Seattle will be handling during the 2026 World Cup games, but it would also apply to other large events. Rideshare companies say this will only increase prices for everyone. But drivers, like Kyle Graham, think this will only benefit drivers and passengers. In our eighty-first episode of Beyond the Bump, we chat with a mate of Sophie's, Kyle. We thought it was time to get a dad back on the podcast, but we were bored of our own husbands and whatever they had to say. So, we've brought in some fresh dad meat. We ask Kyle your questions -- things that maybe you want your partner to hear, how a dad/partner can be helpful, or ways to communicate things to your partner. We hope you absolutely LOVE this episode! Follow us on Instagram at @beyondthebump.podcast to stay up to date with behind the scenes and future episodes. This episode of Beyond the Bump is brought to you by AFTERWARDS: Are there any brand new mamas out there? I am sure there are plenty and while we are a fair way out of it ourselves, there's nothing quite like those newborn days -- a crazy pool of emotions and this darling new bundle that you feel so lucky to love and nurture while your entire world, body, life as you know it, has been ripped apart. Your tits feel like they're about to explode. You're dreading your next poo. Your vagina feels like it's at your knees. You've got crazy night sweats, a mouth as dry as a desert, a cramping uterus… we could just go on forever! Being a new mum can leave you feeling like, ‘What the bloody hell just happened and who is this tiny thing that has thrown a grenade on my life?' It can be so hard to know when you're in it, ‘What on earth is even normal?' Tori Bowman Johnson's new book called AFTERWARDS - somewhat of a Bible for new mamas - discusses the grittiest of the nitty-gritty of the postpartum period. Tory discusses everything, much like us, on the physical side of things like pelvic floor, bladder control, sex, wee, poo but also the mental changes too such as boredom and mum guilt. If you want to read a book that will have you nodding along with many ‘aha moments', a book that will have you feeling like more than just normal but will also remind you that you are absolutely nailing it, then by yourself or you make a copy of AFTERWARDS. The church isn't a place, it's a people. In seeking to equip and empower people, we have to remember there's a difference between a church _with_ small groups and a church _of_ small groups. Members of the VOUS Church staff, Michelle and Adrian Molina and Kyle Graham, get into the nitty-gritty of "How to Turn a Crowd Into a Community" during their VOUS Conference 2019 breakout session. Crews are the small groups of VOUS Church. It is where community culture gets developed by design. Crews draw support through leadership structure, resources, and systems. Each element of Crew, be it a building block, the seasonal calendar, or embedded moments to honor up, down, and all around, is there to make it better. Because, in the end, our godly goal is to foster healthy relationships and transform lives.

Welcome to our latest episode of WIIM Radio. This time around we've got the standard me-Kyle-Graham formation running with Michelle doing all the good hard work and us screwing around for a while. Here's what we got up to: The First Three Games vs. Tampa - Detroit fell apart in the first two games, but held strong for the third. How confident should we be in the Wings being able to play in game 4 just like they did in game 3?Goaltending Controversy? - Petr may not have been the reason the Wings won game 3, but he's got to be your guy going forward, yeah?Blashill's Adjustments - What makes the Abby-Glendening-Sheahan line such a good matchup against Tyler Johnson's line? How does that work out for the other matchups and can Blashill keep pushing that advantage?Around the Brackets - The other series are going on and the Chicago/St. Louis one is real interesting, the Caps beating up on the Flyers, California can't win home games, and we forget to talk about NYI/FLA because lol.Prospects Report - The Griffins start their postseason on Friday after also backing into the playoffs. Michelle runs us through all the goings-on in Grand Rapids and beyond for the kids in the pipeline.Reader Questions - Lots of great stuff in this week's episode and almost as many good answers. The favorite shapes question was the best. Don't @ me. - - - You can listen via the embedded player above or right from our Blogtalk Radio page. I have been talking about Ten Minute Pages lately. It is no mystery that it is something I recommend to much of my readers and listeners. But, aside from the solution itself, there is also a business behind it. And around here, that topic interests me. We're all working to build and expand our businesses, and I find that there are usually certain common elements that entrepreneurs master before success comes. So, I decided to invite Kyle Graham, the creator of Ten Minute Pages, to come on The Blog Program. As of this recording, he was in the middle of his official product launch - which is always a pretty CRAZY experience (anybody who has done one will attest). In this interview, we go behind the scenes into the growth of a software business online. This interview covers such topics as: What its like being in the middle of a product launch The "aha moment" which suddenly lead from years of mediocre performance and client work... to the creation of Ten Minute Pages and really rockin' How important picking the right target market really is Some of the growing pains of a rapidly growing business - and how Kyle dealt with it. The #1 most important skill that you MUST master before you'll achieve rapid growth Definitely a good conversation.
