Big Tigger delves into a wild night of Diddy's parties, debates the heated Drake vs. Kendrick rivalry, and crowns Andre 3000 as the undisputed king of hip-hop. If you can't freestyle i can't count you as one of the greats... it all comes out in this weeks Funky Friday with Big Tigger
While Harrison Butker's misogynistic, anti-gay commencement address is still fresh in our minds, it's noteworthy (as Page Six noted) that his mother is a highly-respected and accomplished Emory physicist, and not a homemaker. The first presidential debate is set - and to be held in Atlanta at CNN. Who needs a whole messy convention, anyway, right? Jay Bookman (wisely) asked: "Why can governors appoint justices based on their ideology, but voters can't?" Georgia Republicans are pushing for a Hank Aaron statue in Statuary Hall. They couldn't agree on John Lewis, but Aaron, they're all for. Problem is, neither Aaron nor Lewis are from Georgia, originally. Is that an issue? Lastly, before POTUS swoops into town Sunday to give the Morehouse commencement, he spent time with "Big Tigger" on V-103. Also, Morehouse' president was on NPR telling us how he'd shut the whole thing down if necessary.

Rapper @NoxBond Has Built An Empire! Independent rapper NoxBond is truly self-made! As a strategist, connector and playmaker, the artist and entrepreneur connected with the right people along his journey to propel him to success. As a rapper from Wichita Kansas doing everything in his power to succeed in the music industry, his hustle and tenacity would lead him to crossing paths and meeting and swapping stories with everyone from Desiigner, Big Tigger, Ghazi and more at exclusive events during awards weekends. It wasn't just Los Angeles that contributed to NoxBond's success as he has been almost everywhere on the map creating magic with music executives, celebrities, and DJs. Genius.com even boasts his resume that includes some very heavy features. Trippie Redd's fan club even celebrates him in their Discord server, and in their Reddit forum. How did he get songs with Trippie Redd, Chris Brown and PnB Rock you ask?He was involved with OVO Ceejay, OVO Ceejay had exclusives that he put NoxBond on, and those exclusives leaked on the internet and blew up.The songs with Trippie Redd were never released but are somehow on several Youtube channels.Nox also has several performances under his belt as he's performed at music festivals such as SXSW. He describes his release strategy as a conveyor belt. An automated system designed to break artists and get music in front of record breakers. A lot of people call him Bossman, Boss, Sir, and his most prolific artist is @trillwillisrael , who has over a million followers on Instagram.Nox has made a lifetime commitment out of creating opportunities for himself and the members of his companies. Is it inspiration, or is it imitation that's created your newest favorite song? The growth of TikTok began in 2017, and became the latest juggernaut used by the music industry to determine what is a hit, or even create them. Artists are having to choose between being original or being viral, and it's impacting how they create and how we listen. We're going to talk about Black music in the Tiktok era. Joining us for this show is Queens-bred MC, Medino Green, as we continue to celebrate #Pride2022. Green's new single “CLAP” is out now! Medino Green Bio: Medino Green, the hip-hop artist from Queens, NY, hit the scene back in 2009. Small in stature but big in his lyrical ability, he is one of a kind, standing at a mere 5'6”. A true product of the 90's, with his flashy braggadocio, in your face style, Green is inspired by artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J, Fabolous, Lil' Kim, and NAS. He's remained true to the classic sounds of the era that has inspired him. With his latest mixtape, "inMyBag," Green reminds us why he is unique. The mixtape includes 10 freestyle tracks over familiar beats, including tracks like “Medino Say's” to “GRN Bomb,” his New York cadence reminds us of where he's from no matter where he's at. In addition to the Mixtape, Green also put together a few videos inspired by Rap City's Big Tigger in the Basement, also another classic moment for hip-hop culture while supporting his fellow queer artist peers by hanging their photos on the wall beside him. These days Green is gearing up for his debut album Mackadocious dropping later this year. The first single out the gate is “CLAP” which is available to stream on all music platforms. Simply put, Voting without pre-voting demands and negotiations is DUMB. Big Tigger (@BigTiggerShow) recently stated "I don't care about #reparations. If I got any (and I would be entitled as my father was born in #America), I'd probably donate mine to a worthy cause." While making such an incorrect statement, he is also promoting many lofty #Democrats without pushing them on policy issues. Here's where he is a bit off. Let's chat Why #Voting Blue No Matter Who is DUMB. Honestly, we're glad the big homie made this statement; others will learn from this discourse.
