O Governo de Siderópolis instituiu a Lei de Liberdade Econômica no município, com o objetivo de reduzir a burocracia e criar um ambiente mais ágil e favorável ao desenvolvimento dos negócios. A nova legislação dispensa atividades econômicas classificadas como de baixo risco da obrigatoriedade de alvarás e licenças prévias para início de funcionamento. A medida abrange exigências nas áreas sanitária, ambiental, de segurança e de uso do solo, desde que a atividade seja considerada de impacto reduzido. Com a mudança, deixam de existir processos demorados para esses casos, sendo exigida apenas uma autodeclaração do empresário, que passa a assumir total responsabilidade pelo cumprimento das normas legais aplicáveis à sua atividade. A lei também integra o município ao sistema da Rede Nacional para a Simplificação do Registro e da Legislação de Empresas e Negócios (Redesim). Com isso, a abertura de empresas passa a ser realizada de forma digital, reduzindo a utilização de documentos físicos e ampliando a automatização dos processos, o que promete maior agilidade no registro empresarial. Os microempreendedores individuais (MEIs) estão entre os principais beneficiados pela nova legislação. Conforme a lei, o MEI terá isenção total de taxas para iniciar suas atividades e não precisará de alvará de funcionamento, desde que atue em atividade enquadrada como de baixo risco. Atualmente, Siderópolis conta com cerca de 490 MEIs ativos. Os impactos da Lei de Liberdade Econômica no município foram comentados pelo prefeito Franqui Salvaro em entrevista concedida ao programa Cruz de Malta Notícias desta quinta-feira (15).

O município de Urussanga apresentou crescimento na abertura de novos negócios em 2025, conforme dados do Mapa de Empresas do Governo Federal. Entre os meses de janeiro e novembro, foram registrados 441 novos CNPJs, superando o total contabilizado em todo o ano de 2024, quando 405 empresas iniciaram suas atividades no município. O avanço é puxado, principalmente, pelos Microempreendedores Individuais (MEIs). No período analisado, 329 novos MEIs foram formalizados em 2025, número superior aos 293 registros do ano anterior. As empresas de outros portes mantiveram estabilidade, com 112 aberturas tanto em 2024 quanto em 2025. Atualmente, Urussanga conta com 2.470 empresas ativas, das quais 1.264 são MEIs. Os números refletem melhorias nos processos internos e nas políticas de incentivo ao empreendedorismo adotadas pela administração municipal. Segundo o governo local, ações voltadas à simplificação de procedimentos, redução da burocracia e orientação aos empreendedores têm contribuído para o cenário positivo. Um dos principais avanços destacados foi a redução significativa no tempo médio para abertura de empresas, que caiu de 43 dias para apenas dois dias. O município tem investido na organização administrativa, maior agilidade nos trâmites legais e atendimento qualificado aos empreendedores. Outro fator relevante foi a implantação da Sala do Empreendedor, inaugurada em 2025 em parceria com o Sebrae. O espaço oferece suporte completo a quem deseja empreender em Urussanga, incluindo orientação para abertura e formalização de empresas, atendimento aos MEIs, capacitações, consultorias, acesso a linhas de crédito e apoio técnico em licitações e compras públicas. Durante entrevista ao programa Cruz de Malta Notícias desta quarta-feira (7), o diretor de Desenvolvimento, Leonardo Felippe, destacou que os resultados refletem um trabalho contínuo de fortalecimento do ambiente de negócios e incentivo ao empreendedorismo no município.

The inaugural premier league football match at Everton's much anticipated new stadium will kick-off on 23 August 2025, as the home side play against Brighton & Hove Albion.
