If you've ever wanted to visit a Mormon temple before it's closed to the public, now is your chance! A new temple just opened in Cranberry and guests can get a glimpse inside for a limited time. Host Megan Harris and producer Sophia Lo explain why this kind of access is so rare. Plus, they discuss what to do if a low-flying plane drops some treats in your neighborhood (TLDR: steer clear, they're rabies vaccines for racoons!) and predict when and whether the Three Rivers Regatta could make a triumphant return. We always cite our sources: It's not clear whether former President Donald Trump meant to say North Carolina when he was with supporters in Wilkes-Barre. Three Rivers Regatta leadership is shooting for a 2025 return — without help from an unresponsive pizza shop. Here's a KDKA clip about an injury in the Red Bull Flugtag. A new Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Cranberry is open for public tours for a limited-time. This is the second LDS temple in Pennsylvania, and the temple will serve around 29,000 people. Allegheny County's leaving out 300,000 rabies vaccines for raccoons. If you spot any bait, make sure you know what to do so your kids and pets don't go poking at it. We sat down with Reto Aebischer to talk about home-made carbon bikes, learning by doing it wrong and his many workshop projects. Starting out with making kiteboards and skis, he quickly progressed to his first carbon road bike and is currently working on the second iteration of his high-pivot enduro bike. And no, unfortunately, you can't pre-order one at this point. Naturally, Reto and his friends also jumped at the opportunity to sign up for Red Bull Flugtag with a self-made "flying machines" and we get to hear the story behind their record attempt - and win! - at the event in Lausanne in 2021. Finally, to fellow Pinkbike users, Reto is known as a thoughtful commenter and forum regular as SleepingAwake and it was great to put a face and voice to a handle that many in the community have stumbled across on the web. Hope you enjoy!

Chris is first joined by Paige to discuss the upcoming Red Bull Flugtag event that Kwik Trip is sponsoring (July 16th at Veteran's Park in Milwaukee!), including the KT Banana Crew that will be piloting a craft in the event and her role as a Flugtag judge. We're then joined by Rick Verthein, captain of the "Team America" craft competing at Flugtag, about the dads in his neighborhood banding together to make an airplane, plus the great cause - Kids for Vets - that his team is raising money and awareness for.

So we said last week when we released episode 100 that it was difficult to edit because there was just so much good material and we wanted to keep the show around the one-hour mark. We couldn't let all this good material go to waste, so episode 101 is the best of what got cut from episode 100! Note that some of these segments appeared in episode 100, but we have the full unedited segment. The first segment is D.J. going on about Jeppson's Malört, first with Kate and then second with guests Adam Corsair and Kevin Pettit. Learn about this infamous Chicago drink and why some people call it the "World's Worst Liquor". In our next segment, we return to the interview with Ralph Schudel and play a clip from before we actually started the segment. It turns out to be a lot of bad impressions (Tom Brokaw, Dick Vitale and his Hooters Commercial (https://youtu.be/RSdyD-1xdk0), Gheorghe Muresan and his Snickers cologne commercial (https://youtu.be/CuU9DjeLESY), and former Cavalier/Laker Timofey Mozgov with the backward jersey (https://youtu.be/mWS9OaIXH4E). Next, we have a quick clip of Kate (15:06) talking about how she signed up for Red Bull Flugtag when she was 13 and the interesting response she got from the company... Finally, we have a nice discussion with Adam Corsair and Kevin Pettit about giving up on podcasts, the surprisingly low number of episodes it takes to be in the "top 1%" of most episodes released, taking criticism online for takes, handling negative reviews....and then Canadian Geese? Though Zupan's story is a thoroughly modern one, we can't help but detect the grandeur of a hero's arc, seeing the athlete struck by the “gods” but ready to bravely battle his demons to emerge triumphantly. The trick is, however, that this athlete's success did not take the form he expected it to. That fateful night, it would seem that all the young man's dreams were robbed from him—but he simply went on to create different dreams! Questions or comments regarding the podcast? Гонка, на которой важна не только скорость, но креативность и изобретательность, заряд хорошего настроения и немного инженерного мастерства, прошла в эту субботу в Киеве. Всемирно популярное шоу RedBull Flugtag впервые прошло в Киеве.
