In this episode, Donny Deutsch highlights the brands that are currently trending up or down, with a focus on the recent Super Bowl and its commercials. The conversation shifts to the importance of storytelling in advertising, the cultural implications of reading and home buying trends, and social insights regarding wedding spending and teen phone usage. The episode concludes with a light-hearted mention of Wimbledon's innovative approach to sustainability. Takeaways: The Super Bowl commercials lacked creativity this year. Human stories resonate more in advertising than celebrity appearances. Women made up a significant portion of the Super Bowl audience. Reading levels among U.S. students are declining. The average age of first-time home buyers is rising. Tardy individuals may be more creative and optimistic. Teenagers are spending too much time on their phones in school. Higher wedding spending correlates with increased divorce rates. Wimbledon is creatively repurposing tennis balls for wildlife. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

A bit of freezing rain covered with some light snow. VERY dangerous driving conditions this morning. We started the morning with the Thursday Song from our buddy, Adam Palm. In the news this morning, a Viroqua man has been arrested on federal charges of smuggling firearms to Saudi Arabia, the protests at the State Capitol yesterday, a Wisconsin couple is suing Walgreens after their son died, and President Trump signed an executive order yesterday that bars transgender athletes from competing in women's sports. The Bucks got a nice win over Charlotte last night after trading Khris Middleton, the Badgers take on Iowa on Saturday, the trades in the NBA are dominating the news cycle, Dick Vitale is going to return to the broadcast table this weekend for the Duke/Clemson game, and a figure skating event will benefit the victims of the recent plane crash in DC. We ran our interview with Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports Show as he broadcasts live from the Super Bowl, and we also got on the phone with Office Cora to talk about what's happening in the 715 this weekend. Let you know what's on TV tonight and talked about a really bad answer on "Family Feud". Plus, it's our second edition of "Hypothetical Thursday"…where we ask each other hypothetical questions. Big game coming up on Sunday and we discussed a new list of our favorite Super Bowl food items. Incredibly heroic kid in Philly saved his sister's life during the medical plane crash that happened last week, and a pilot in Arkansas is being praised for stopping a teenager who came into the airport with a gun & demanding a plane. In a classic case of F' Around & Find Out, one of the Yankees fans that grabbed Mookie Betts during the World Series is now bitching & moaning about the repercussion from his actions. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaMan who tried to set a forest on fire, a judge who had to resign after some comments he made about being a juror, a woman who is suing an MLB team after she allegedly slipped on some dog pee at a game, and what the hell is going on with Build-A-Bear? Puck and Jim react to what he said.  WSU DT David Gusta entered the transfer portal and his father is upset at Puck because he played a pair of clips from Gusta's appearance with Puck a month ago where the defensive tackle said he would never leave and enter the portal.  Former Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu joins Puck and Jim to talk Seahawks football and their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings.  Before they talked Seahawks, Lofa commented on the state of college football and how the current system is broken.  Is Sunday's game a must win for Seattle?  Lofa weighs in on that topic.  Can Seattle establish a running game against Minnesota, or will they have to rely on their aerial attack against the Vikings?  Finally, the each give their Highest Performer of the Weekend, brought to you by 1937Farms.com.   PuckSports handicapper, TroyWins.com drops by to preview the slate of college and NFL games.  It was a good week for Troy, and he's back to make you even more money this weekend! Before Jim leaves, they end his appearance with Friday Voicemails, where they hear from a Cougar supporter who defends Jake Dickert and Dick Vitale joins to bring some laughter to the boys after a rough week. Chris Egan, KING 5, joins Jason “Puck” Puckett for his weekly visit.
