POPULARITY
Interview by Kris PetersThe Superjesus have been a mainstay on the Australian rock scene for more than three decades.Their infectious music coupled with arguably one of the best live shows in the country have endeared the band to generations of music lovers since their inception in the late 1990s, with the band's debut album Sumo in 1998 spawning fan favourites such as Down Again, Saturation and Now and Then. The follow-up, Jet Age, magnified the growing popularity of The Superjesus, delivering the smash hit Gravity as well as Secret Agent Man before Rock Music rounded out the trifecta in 2003.A brief hiatus from the mid 2000s gave the band members time to reflect on their personal music ambitions before deciding the world needed more of their music in 2013. This produced an EP, Love and Violence (2016), as well as a double live album but despite The Superjesus quickly reclaiming their status amongst Australia's elite touring band's, no new music has been forthcoming. That changes this Friday, March 21, when The Superjesus (self-titled) comes out, fuelled by the success of six previous singles Money (We're Only In It For Love), Lights Out, We Won't Let Go Until It's Over, Something Good, a cover of Generation X's Dancing With Myself and beautiful ballad Diamonds. This is the new Superjesus, a more soulful, engaging version of the band we know and love where song writing is king.HEAVY caught up with frontwoman Sarah McLeod to find out more. We bring up a quote she made to HEAVY in October last year where she proclaimed "I shit you not, but it's the best stuff we've ever written", and ask if she still feels that way after the album has had more time to digest. A smile swept across her face before replying with a simple "yeah"."I guess maybe that's why I love it so much," she continued, "because I'm so connected to it. And I just feel like we've got better. I feel like we did a great job in the 90s, and we were happy with those records, but we had 10 years off, and we all went and did different music. We learnt stuff. Ruddy (Stuart, bass) was in all these different bands, and he came back with a whole library of new influences and so did I. And we're like, okay, we're the same people, but we're not really because we've learnt all this stuff. So why don't we bring in the cool shit that we've learned and make something different, but paying homage to who we were. And that's where we're at. And I think it's been really good for us. And I love it."In the full interview, Sarah expressed her excitement about the album, which has seen the release of six singles over the past 18 months. She highlighted her favourite track, Gangbusters, and explained the strategic decision to hold back some songs to build anticipation. She emphasized that while there is no external pressure, she feels a personal drive to deliver quality music, reflecting the band's evolution and commitment to their craft.Sarah shared insights into her songwriting process, noting a shift towards creating cohesive narratives rather than standalone lyrics. She discussed the challenges of balancing her solo work with that of The Superjesus, particularly in terms of lyrical content and audience resonance. The conversation also touched on the creative process, where Sarah likened songwriting to an alchemical journey that requires refinement to achieve simplicity. She said she believes that effective songs often stem from straightforward lyrics that engage audiences, a principle she strives to uphold in her work. We discussed the band's upcoming tour and what to expect musically, as well as the opportunity for local band's to open in each city and more.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/heavy-music-interviews--2687660/support.

Running Sheet: Those Dry Stone Walls Of South Australia 00:00:00 Intro Introduction 00:04:05 SA Drink Of The Week The South Australian Drink Of The Week this week is the brand new Raspberry and Finger Lime Gin from 23rd Street Distillery. This gin is a really interesting blend of juicy raspberries and tangy finger lime. After soaking the blue juniper berries they then start the vapor distil process, creating a spicy, aromatic gin base. Then they add in the raspberries and finger lime, which soak for about three weeks, tasting daily to get that balance right. The gin's smooth and fruity, and its recommended to mix it with tonic or soda and garnish with lime and mint. Our guest taster, John Gledhill from Gledhill Vignerons, mixed the drinks with Bickfords Soda and Bickfords Dry Tonic, and then pulled a rabbit out of the hat, mixing it with Fever Tree Raspberry Tonic. He also agrees with the good people at 23rd Street, that this would go very very well with dark chocolate. 00:18:30 Bruce Munday, Those Dry Stone Walls Revisited South Australia is blessed with beautiful stone – stone with colour, texture and light. Some of our stone structures have stood for 150 years, never touched by mortar. So, in this episode, Bruce Munday returns to The Adelaide Show to share the stories behind these stone walls and the people who built them and commissioned them. His book is, Those Dry Stone Walls Revisited, out through Wakefield Press. If Bruce sounds familiar, he was last on our show in 2017, discussing the history of rabbits in South Australia and beyond. 01:03:50 Musical Pilgrimage In the Musical Pilgrimage, we feature Sincerely Me by Hayli. Hayli was first on The Adelaide Show in episode 369, but has released a new single since then, Sincerely Me, which is very very raw. In fact, it comes with an explicit tag so if you're listening with kids or you'd prefer not to have your sensibilities pushed, you might want to click through to listen to some of her other tracks instead. As you'll hear in our interview, Hayli is a dynamic artist who pursues great clarity in in her stories, with the lyrics matching the melody and performance. So, it only follows that when she is unpacking a story of betrayal, that the passion and the rawness go off the scale. I've since discovered why Hayli was so generous in her interview and so clear in her willingness to dive into her storytelling through song; it's because she wants all of us to embrace music culture , whether we're adults or whether we're kids who are thinking about learning an instrument. Hayli, who is the music teacher at Seaview High School, says the most important part to of music is that people learn the value of self expression and teamwork. And she must be doing something right because her students have nominated her as the ARIA Music Teacher of the year. You can watch the nomination video with Sarah McLeod, and you can also vote for her, once a day, between now and November 13, 2024.Support the show: https://theadelaideshow.com.au/listen-or-download-the-podcast/adelaide-in-crowd/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Interview by Kyra-Jade CoombsThe Superjesus are Aussie icons. Not only are they great musicians, but they are down to earth and the kind of people you could sit with for hours and have amazing conversations with.HEAVY took the chance to have a yarn with long time bass player Stuart Rudd, ‘Ruddy', about their upcoming monster Australian tour for new single ‘Lights Out'. It's nice to have a chat with someone who has been in the music industry for so long but still has a burning passion and pure love for what they do. It was written across his face as it lit up talking about his band, and I think an amazing thing to have. It's not often you hear muso's saying that ‘Getting outon the road is a nice break'. That's pure love I tell ya..As far as surprises on tours go, Ruddy said there will be a few oldies played from their long spanning repertoire along with new tracks recorded recently.By the sounds of it Superjesus have been busy recording and are flirting with the idea of releasing an album sooner than later, so keep your ears peeled for that.We had a trip down memory lane and spoke up the longevity of the friendship, (working and otherwise), with vocalist Sarah McLeod. Having such a connection with someone that you can both just look at each other in the midst of playing a song and have that smile/ nod combo and know exactly what they're thinking. Not many people have this, nor experience it in their lifetime and this type of connection is translated through into their music. It's bloody magic and I have the utmost respect for them. There's a lot more Easter eggs sprinkled into this interview so have a good listen and enjoy. The ‘Lights Out' tour has 15 stops and I dare say one will be near you, go and catch a show…. I know I am.

The Superjesus return with brand new single “Lights Out”. The driving, melodic track - written by Sarah McLeod and Stuart Rudd and produced by drummer Murray Sheridan - provides the perfect backdrop for McLeod's distinctive vocal. Sarah McLeod said of the track, “The Superjesus would like to dedicate this song to Rita Riman. Rita was a longtime fan - a member of the band's very first fan club in the early 90's. A group of music lovers met through our message board called ‘Static'… before My Space was invented… this group became very familiar to us and attended all our shows for the next couple of decades. Rita struggled with mental health issues for many years but her saving grace was always music. Sadly a couple of years ago we lost her, and it sent shock waves through all of us. So many people struggle with mental health issues in silence, we need to remember to ask each other if we're ok. This song is for Rita and the fans who grew up with us.”Since bursting out of Adelaide in the mid-'90s, The Superjesus have had nine Top 50 hits, two Top 10 albums, placed five songs in Triple J's Hottest 100, won three ARIA Awards, and been inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame.Includes Songs:The SuperJesus - Lights outThe SuperJesus - Down AgainSarah McLeod - Gutter QueenThe SuperJesus - Money (We're Only In It For Love)What have The SuperJesus been up to lately … let's find out!If this story raises any concerns for you please talk to someone:LifeLine: 13 11 14Beyond Blue: 1300 224 636Get out when you can, support local music and I'll see you down the front!!Visit: ThatRadioChick.com.au

TRUE HOUSE STORIES W/ EDX # 099 Maurizio Colella talks about his life in the beginning of his career around the 1990's as a young aspiring hip hop DJ that fell in love with Techno and American Garage House Music. He played around with music in high school and with growing up in Switzerland he was able to experience the huge DJ talent coming into play gigs in his city. This aspired him to want to make records and DJ in the night clubs helping to shape the EDX brand that would become famous later around the world. Over the past few years, EDX has made a name for himself in the international EDM scene, headlining the world's finest clubs and festivals to crowds in excess of 60,000 – from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, São Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Taipei, all the way to Sydney. The chart topping Switzerland-based DJ/Producer has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Axwell, Benny Benassi, Kelis, Deadmau5, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Kool & The Gang, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Dubfire and many others. His remixes have been consistently featured on various DJ charts such as the DMC Buzz, Cool Cuts and Beatport and was even ranked in the TOP 3 of Beatport's Best Progressive House Artist alongside Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz. His involvement in the music industry began at an early age, but it is his consistent work that has made EDX an exemplary success story. He launched his weekly radio show ‘No Xcuses' on SIRIUS XM's Electric Area Channel and spent summer 2011 holding a residency at the world's number one nightclub – Space, Ibiza. EDX has continued his success into 2012 with the release of his debut album, ‘On The Edge'. He has spent about 2 years working tirelessly to create this 14 track magnum opus featuring some of the most incredible vocalists in the genre; including platinum selling artist Nadia Ali, Sarah McLeod, Tamra Keenan, Hadley, Sam Obernik, John Williams and Jerique. ‘On The Edge' has already resulted in the hit single “Give It Up For Love” feat. John Williams and future anthem “This Is Your Life” with Nadia Ali. With ‘On The Edge,' EDX's musical vision finally came to fruition, yet he still aspires to evolve as an artist and further his already prolific career. In 2013, EDX has manifested new dimensions in his production without diminishing the strong connection to his roots. In his collaboration with Leventina for their track "The Sun," and their remix of Helvetic Nerds' "Blood Pressure," EDX brought out a more clubby style that was widely supported by some of the most esteemed artists in the industry: David Guetta, Afrojack, and Avicii, among many others. In the midst of his work with Leventina, he pleased new and old fans alike by revitalizing the classic EDX progressive sound on songs such as "Sunset Miracles"(Spinnin'), "Touched"(Toolroom), and "Blessed"(Toolroom). Additionally, his most recent offering out on his own Pinkstar Records label, “Hazed,” has led him to explore sonic frontiers fit for the new age of dance music. The highlight of his career was winning a Grammy Nomination for his remix. Listen to EDX share his life story right here on True House Stories.

Although I must say, any and all nerves were quickly swept away as soon as we started talking. We covered a lot in this interview; welcoming Murray Sheridan and Cam Blokland to The Superjesus family, recording new material in an organic and natural fashion, hitting the road with Dallas Crane and some downright wholesome chat on being true to yourself – no matter what. I took away some really cool and unexpected life lessons from our chat and I genuinely enjoyed every second of this interview, in all my awkward glory.Starting in January 2023, The Superjesus are hitting the road on their Money Tour starting on January 27 in Sydney and finishing up March 3 in Richmond, Victoria. If you are a fan of The Superjesus you really don't want to miss this one. I can't wait to see all this hard work come to life.Keep an eye out next month for the release of their new single Money (We're Only In It For Love) and check out the full audio interview above.

I was reflecting on how important The Superjesus were to the 'scene' in the 90s and then reinventing themselves with an incredibly polished sound after 2000. Gravity, Down Again, Saturation, then later Enough to know and Secret Agent Man. It's so exciting to hear the news they are returning with new music in 2023. Sarah during the pandemic made a huge change in her life and moved to Brisbane - a new start right in the middle of lockdowns (and a week in a quarantine hotel!). These days she's balancing her life of rock n roll with acting, starring in 'Jane Eyre' as it tours around the country. I'm proud to say she's a mate, and always a great chat. The is Sarah McLeod, on The Rider with Becko

So does Sarah McLeod. In fact, she is on a mission to heal the planet one heart at a time. Truly, the best way to do it really is to start with the “man (or woman) in the mirror”, by going inside to face your demons and recognizing that your nemeses are your gurus. In this conversation, Sarah McLeod, the founder of Vision Weaving, shares how she learned from her Vedic meditation teacher to sit with what scared her the most which was going inside. Once she did this and healed herself, she knew it was her time to share the natural overflow to assist and be of service for others to heal. That is the beauty of healing yourself. As you heal yourself, it has a ripple effect and affects everyone in your sphere. Episode 96- Excited to welcome to the podcast musician Stu Rudd, bass player for one of my favourite Australian rock bands The Superjesus. Stu born in Adelaide South Australia, he played a few instruments and was apart of forming the band in 94. They released their first EP Eight Step Rail in 97 and won 2 ARIA Awards. In 98 the band recorded their first studio album Sumo to rave reviews and toured internationally. It received platinum status and the band won an ARIA award for best rock band. Next album Jet Age in 2000 also went platinum and had arguably the bands biggest hit "Gravity". Stu along with vocalist Sarah McLeod were inducted into the South Australia music hall of fame. The band continues to record and tour around the world and Stu is also involved with side projects including Crown Jewels. @sturudd @the_superjesus www.thesuperjesus.com "Gravity" Live performed by The Superjesus (Written by Sarah Mcleod) Warner Music Australia https://tellcraigyourstory.podbean.com https://www.linktr.ee/tellcraigyourstory @tellcraigyourstory Youtube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcCr6P3Ja395SkapnECvOFw?view_as=subscriber #sturudd #stuartrudd #ruddy #thesuperjesus #sarahmcleod #timhenwood #paulberryman #christennet #eightsteprail #sumo #jetage #rockmusic #hellskitchen #adelaide #southaustralia #samusichalloffame #gravity #downagain #nowandthen #kiss #kingofthunder #grinspoon #bigdayout #vanhalen #davidleeroth #daveglesson #baronthehill #thegov #silverchair #thebabyanimals

This weekend sees the return of the Airlie Beach Festival Of Music after COVID disrupted the annual event last year.Once more assembling a stellar line-up of bands and musicians – including Brian Cadd, The Angels, Russell Morris and Busby Marou, the festival is a three day weekend of fun, music and good times not to be missed!Another of the leading performers on this years bill is The Superjesus frontwoman Sarah McLeod, performing one of her many solo shows, and the great lady took time out from renovating to chat with HEAVY on the eve of the festival. We start by asking if she has ever had the pleasure of playing at one of the famous Far Northern festivals."The Superjesus played there,” she nodded. “I think it was... well it wasn't last year (laughs). I think it was the last festival they had and it was one of the best shows we've done in ages. I remember it well. The people that run it - this is what makes a good festival. There's a lot of things that go into making a good festival. A good line-up and lots of people coming, making sure that the punters are comfortable, and the bars are in the right places and the toilets, and the suns not setting in their eyes while watching the band... there's so many factors involved, and they seem to think of all those things. And they're really lovely to work with. Everyone is happy and comfortable. No-ones walking around going "this would be great if". You don't hear that at the Airlie Beach festival."In the full interview Sarah runs through what to expect from her show, if she will be playing any Superjesus songs, judging the Battle Of The Bands finals as well and how she will approach it, who she is most looking forward to seeing and why, pacing yourself over a three day festival, future plans for herself and The Superjesus and more.

Join Cheryl Lee - That Radio Chick on STILL ROCKIN' IT for news, reviews, music and interviews with some of our favourite Australian musicians.Today I share a zoom chat with South Australia's own rock chick, Sarah McLeod, singer-songwriter, known both for her solo work and as the lead singer and guitarist of rock band The Superjesus. We now know that what happens in Bali, doesn't stay in Bali. We chat about how Sarah and the band overcame the breakup of a romantic in-band relationship, who might be their guest percussionist and the little-known secret to her songwriting success.Includes Songs:Sarah McLeod - House of the Rising SunThe Superjesus - GravityThe Superjesus - Shut My EyesWham! - Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go What's Sarah and the band up to at the moment? Let's find out .....
In the episode we chat with Australian musician, Sarah McLeod, as she shares the journey with her beautiful dog called Chachi. A story of love, laughter, heartbreak and inspiration, that would lead to the writing and recording of 'Chachi's Theme'. This is their life together.
This was, obviously, a fun one for me. In this episode, I had on my 21-year-old sister, Sarah. At the time of recording this, she was staying with me in my apartment in NYC for her fashion internship, which we briefly touch on in the beginning. The rest of the conversation might really surprise you, as we touched on some topics that I've never talked about before. Things like the story of our house burning down, figuring out what you DON'T want to do, making riskier life choices, starting your own business or side hustle, the common struggles of your twenties (and beyond), putting yourself out there on social media, family bonding moments, and more. I tried to actually make this an entertaining and thought-provoking chat, instead of just random ramblings with my little sister (although, there's plenty of sh*t-talking). For those who do decide to listen to this one, I think you'll be happily surprised with how great this conversation turned out. Enjoy! **PS: If you could rate and review the podcast, it would mean the world to me and it would help get the word out to others just like us so we can continue building this amazing, one-of-a-kind community.** Connect With Sarah: Instagram: https://instagram.com/sarah.mcleod YouTube, Twitter, & More: https://linktr.ee/sarah.mcleod Connect With Matt: [Free] 30-Day Ultimate Physique Development Manual: https://bit.ly/UltimatePhysiqueDevelopment Hire Matt For Coaching: https://mattmcleod.org/online-coaching Instagram: @mattmcleod6 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/mattmcleod6 Website: https://mattmcleod.org ---- Produced by: David Margittai | In Post Media Website: https://www.inpostmedia.com Email: david@inpostmedia.com Social: @_margittai © 2021 Matt McLeod

Our guest this week is Emanuele Mamo, the founder of 3i Black Water, and an incredible musician (Part of the band, “Acaxia”)About EmanueleIn an endeavor to better his health, he started consuming fulvic acid (which is found in the most healthy soils around the world) to remove heavy metals and toxins from his body, and it attracted the attention of his friends. One of his friends saw an opportunity in the black beverage and realizing that no other company was selling such a beverage, they started 3i Black Water. Their unique fulvic trace mineral blend promotes gut health, cell hydration, nutrition absorption rates, and assists with maintaining an alkaline diet. That makes 3i Black Water like no other functional beverage on the market. They use 100% rainwater that is distilled (evaporated) which strips all the nasty chemicals like fluoride and chlorine that are normally found in tap water, and then they combine that with their 100% natural fulvic trace mineral blend.Emanuele has taught for more than 15 years at VAS in all areas of vocal, performance training, songwriting, and music production. He is a multi-skilled performer with strong vocal and instrumental ability and has toured across Australia and America with various corporate acts, as well as worked on his own material showcasing RnB and Dance Music with well known Australian producers. He was the very first person in Australia to sit the Grade 8 Music Production exam through RSL Awards in London and has supported many well known local and international artists as well as being a headline act at clubs, festivals, and corporate events.Manny, as he is popularly referred to, is the lead singer of the band "Allegro", winner of the ABIA Award for Best Live Entertainment in Victoria, and part of the award-winning cabaret act "The Viva Italia Show" which has toured internationally. He has been signed to a major Record Label and 2 of his songs have had ARIA Top 10 Chart Success. "Beside You" in 2010 and Accidents Happen in 2011. Continued chart success in 2012, saw his remix of Sarah McLeod break ARIA Top 5.He signed a new Record Deal in 2017 and has released a new EP under the name "Acaxia" which is an electronic music project and the first single was developed after he spent time with Indigenous students and musicians in Darwin in 2017. It was also a Top 30 Finalist at the ASA Awards in 2018. In 2017 Manny was one of only 8 nominees across the country for the prestigious Rudy Brandsma Songwriting Award at the Australian Songwriters Association annual awardsThe success of Manny's teaching skills is evident in his Past and Current Student success, who are now working professionally around the world in the industry. He was a recent winner of the Moonee Valley Foundation award and the 2018 winner of the Hume City Council Arts Award. Manny was also the winner of the VAS Teacher of the Year in 2018 and inducted into the VAS Hall of Fame in 2019.Join the Inspired Evolution Community:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/InspiredEvolution/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/InspiredEvo/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/InspiredEvolution/Website: https://inspiredevolution.com/In this Episode We Canvas:Fulvic Acid in NatureIt’s found in healthy soils, but most of it is present in the fifth layer (humus layer) of the earth. They source their fulvic acid from a 32.5 Million year old ocean bed that had been underground for all those years. There are tons of minerals trapped under that ocean bed and 3i Black Water takes the raw materials that they source from there, and run them through a reverse osmosis process which ensures that no chemicals touch their product in any way. Only water touches the product to extract the fulvic minerals. “No chemicals end up touching our product whatsoever” - Emanuele MamoGoing Down the Healthy PathHe needed to change his diet and was struggling with it, so a friend suggested that he find something that he could use to detox. That’s how he accidentally came across fulvic acid.“Getting rid of coffee and all of that stuff was really really hard for me” - Emanuele Mamo Partnering with a Fellow Band MemberMusic is his full-time job and his business partner in 3i Black Water, Christian, was a DJ for many years. They’ve known each other for 12 years and have made great music together, which is how they ended up in the same band. Christian had some previous experience working in a beverage company which made it very convenient to partner with him.“I do plan to try and merge the water and merge the music” - Emanuele MamoSynchronicities and Divine InterventionWith the way 3i came to be, he sees a lot of divine timing from the way him and his partners came together to start the company just when he had started using the fulvic acid in his diet. He highlights the importance of people acknowledging the divine intervention and synchronicities that bring things together for their own good. “The way it all came together... we couldn’t have scripted it together so it was definitely from something out of our hands” - Emanuele MamoWorking with Friends and FamilyEmanuele and his partners have a deep respect for each other. They respect each other's strengths and weaknesses, and they’re very open with each other. None of them brings any ego into their relationship and they never really have any conflicts. Emanuele feels their prior friendship played a huge role in helping them start and successfully run 3i Black Water. Each of their individual contributions to the management of the company has been instrumental in its success. Andrew is the rock and pillar of the company with business management expertise, Emanuele brings the much needed creativity, and Christian brings in creativity and a lot of sales experience specifically in the beverage industry. “Us being friends to begin with really helped” - Emanuele MamoThe Value of CreativityCreativity is Emanuele’s connection to something more than just what he can see or feel. It’s also a legacy that he can leave to the world forever. He’s always inspired to express himself through music no matter the situation he’s going through, good or bad. He loves that sharing with the world through his music touches people’s lives positively. He believes that being creative is one of the most powerful gifts of consciousness we have as human beings. It has helped him learn how to love himself and build a great relationship with himself.“When my body is not here, my creations could still be here” - Emanuele MamoLeaving a LegacyHe compares leaving a legacy to the innate urge that we have to reproduce, have kids, and leave our genes and DNA behind. It can be in the form of a memory or the imprint of what someone will have done with their life. With music for example, when someone creates music it can be heard 100 years after they pass away and still evoke the emotions that the singer intended to evoke in people when they created the music, which in a way brings the singer back to life. “Just through those vibrations of my music again, I’m alive again” - Emanuele MamoThe Meaning of DeathEmanuele believes that we should all have a little bit more appreciation for the time that we have here being conscious. His mantra sits on the idea that death is just “The next journey” and a transition. While nobody knows what happens after death, we must all accept that it will happen to all of us, and embrace it as part of life. The uncertainty around it though, makes it hard for people to celebrate it.“Death is just the next journey” - Emanuele MamoSpending Time with the Indigenous PeopleSpending time with the indigenous people of Australia and sharing with them on a creativity level was a great experience for Emanuele. He also loved helping some of their kids experiment with being creative through song and dance. It was heartbreaking for him to see the kind of third-world type of life they lead. Learning to play some of their musical instruments was great too, and he incorporated some of them into their music. He also wrote music with them.“I highly recommend everybody to try and learn a little bit about our indigenous culture here” - Emanuele Mamo See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

In the first of two episodes catching up with some of the festival guests we speak to progressive rock wizard, James Norbert Ivanyi, Australian rock royalty - Sarah McLeod of the Superjesus and get all the deets from festival programmer Adrian Leighton. James Norbert Ivanyi has just returned home after after a triumphant European tour promoting his latest EP, Denalavis. Why was producer Butch Vig the best at handling Corgan's vocals? Why is it physically impossible for Sarah to fire the rest of the Superjesus? Why did the Pumpkins go $250,000 over budget? How has doing this podcast influenced the upcoming new Superjesus album? My Favorite Album is a podcast unpacking the great works of pop music.
