She was an artist-in-residence at the Hinge Arts program in spring 2017, and was the recipient of an Evergreen Foundation Activity Grant and a Summer Graduate Teaching Fellowship at UC San Diego. El trayecto elegido era el antiguo cauce del Turia en Valencia. Desde que el río ha sido desviado de la ciudad, ese espacio se ha convertido en un inmenso parque en el que se realizan todo tipo de actividades sociales. Pasear entre variados tipos de vegetación con conversaciones a lo mediterráneo, tan apasionadas como platónicas, es un placer muy especial. En cierto momento nos topamos con una multitud de varias tribus urbanas. Primero los hipsters y su aire vintage. Gente tranquila con sus largas barbas y cuidados cortes de pelo. Después de los frikis, mucha camiseta de ciencia ficción y sensación de estar desconectados de la realidad, o conectados a otra. Por último, los indignados, con su aire desalinizado y cerca a las barbaries nórdicas. La música superaba los decibelios de nuestro agrado y dejamos el cauce. Mirándolos desde lo alto de un puente centenario, adornado con geranios en demasía, me supe triste. Estaban allí, sentados sobre el césped, charlando de sus cosas cuando sintieron un inmenso dolor en el corazón. No, no era cuestión de la hipertensión, sino de intención. ¿Cómo podemos llegar a todas esas personas y hablarles de lo espectacular que es la vida en Cristo? Yo súper impotente. ¿Cómo se iban a congregar todas esas personas ante Jesús si no le conocían? ¿Cómo podemos llegar a todas esas personas y hablarles de lo espectacular que es la vida en Cristo? Yo súper impotente. ¿Cómo se iban a congregar todas esas personas ante Jesús si no le conocían? ¿Cómo podemos llegar a todas esas personas y hablarles de lo espectacular que es la vida en Cristo? Ante el dolor de mi corazón y la sana intención de que todos disfruten lo que yo disfruto, solo me queda la fe. Fe en que debo mantener mi fe con pureza e identidad. Fe en que voy a tener la sabiduría adecuada en el momento adecuado para ser ejemplo de palabra y, Dios lo quiera, también de acto. Fe en que Dios cumple sus promesas y si él dijo que se reunirían ante su presencia, así será.

Joel 3:16.Hoy es el día en el cual el Señor Rugirá, el majestuoso León de la tribu de Judá ruge al rescate de las familias de la tierra, de sus siervos y de las almas perdidas y defiende a su pueblo de las garras del enemigo; el León de la tribu de Jehová no conoce derrota porque es el vencedor y nos ha hecho más que vencedores en Cristo Jesús.Porque Jesús fue llamado el León de la tribu de Judá: Jesús cumplió las profecías del Antiguo Testamento porque descendía de la tribu de Judá y era del linaje de David. Todo inicia con la profecía que lanza Jacob a su hijo Judá en Génesis 49:8-10 “Judá, te alabarán tus hermanos; “Tu mano en la cerviz de tus enemigos; los hijos de tu padre se inclinarán a ti. cachorro de león, Judá; de la presa subiste, hijo mío. Se encorvó, se echó como león, así como león viejo: ¿quién lo despertará? No será quitado el cetro de Judá, ni el legislador de entre sus pies, hasta que venga Siloh; Y a él se congregarán los pueblos, Siloh puede traducirse como -aquel a quien le pertenece el cetro- o como un nombre derivado de la palabra hebrea que significa paz. Jesús cumplió la profecía de ser el Rey al que le pertenece el cetro y es también nuestro Príncipe de paz. Por tal razón en las Escrituras encontramos que a Jesús se le conoce como el León de Judá. El apóstol Juan tiene una visión y mira a uno sentado en el trono sosteniendo en su mano derecha un libro. Y un ángel fuerte pregonando ¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos? Juan estaba compungido, llorando, y un anciano se le acerca y le dice no llores, he aquí que el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos. Apocalipsis 5:1-5. Continua diciendo, el Cordero que fue inmolado, el que tiene los siete espíritus, el que está en medio de los cuatro seres vivientes, y en medio de los ancianos, es digno de abrir el libro y quitar sus sellos porque ha sido inmolado y con su sangre nos ha redimido, en otras palabras, Jesucristo el cordero que fue sacrificado en la cruz del calvario, es digno, pero también el León ruge con furia. El León ruge desde Sión, ruge desde su Trono, y cuando ruge sus enemigos tiemblan y huyen espantados. Pues cuando ruge desata un sonido atemorizador, temible, con poder, capaz de derrotar a sus adversarios. Jesucristo el León de la tribu de Judá, ruge, y lo hace con furia. Ruge contra aquellos que quieren robarle la gloria que sólo a Él le pertenece y contra todos los enemigos que se han levantado contra Su pueblo, Su Iglesia y Sus siervos.Asi que Iglesia, sin importar la situación de desesperanza, de opresión o de inestabilidad emocional, física, económica o por los diferentes ataques del enemigo en contra nuestra, nuestra familia y descendientes, recordemos que hay esperanza para nosotros los que hemos creído y hemos puesta nuestra confianza en Jesucristo, el plan que Dios tiene para nosotros fue, es y será cumplido, ¡Él ha vencido!, y nosotros juntamente con él, porque el cordero de Dios que quita el pecado del mundo se presenta también como león, que no dejará huir a su presa y que nos defiende en el día de la angustia, su rugido se escucha en la guarida del diablo y sus demonios, porque el vino a avergonzar a los principados, potestades, gobernadores de las tinieblas de este siglo, las huestes espirituales de maldad, en las regiones celestes y a todo plan que el enemigo ha trazado en contra nuestra… El Rugido de Dios son las promesas que nos ha entregado, es la Palabra Profética que sale de Su boca y que tiene asidero en el reino espiritual y se planta en el reino natural para que se cumpla en tu vida, tu familia y tu descendencia.Asi que, es el tiempo de Entrar en Su presencia con regocijo, el Señor nos manda a madurar para enfrentar estos tiempos, es el momento de tomar nuestro estandarte y marchar a la batalla, son tiempos de estar a solas con Dios hasta que Él te de las respuestas a todas tus batallas; tenemos que aprender a pelear nuestras batallas hasta obtener la victoria en el lugar secreto y traigo 3 ejemplos registrados en Su Palabra: Jesús después de tener tiempos de sanidades y milagros se iba solo a orar al desierto; en la escritura no registra lo que sucedía en esos tiempos porque formaba parte de su intimidad con Dios. Marcos 1:35 “Levantándose muy de mañana, siendo aún muy oscuro, salió y se fue a un lugar desierto, y allí oraba”. Moisés después de esas grandes victorias iba al monte de Dios a orar y allí reciba la Palabra de Dios, dice la Palabra que Moisés subía a Dios… Éxodo 19:3 “Y Moisés subió a Dios; y Jehová lo llamó desde el monte, diciendo: Así dirás a la casa de Jacob, y anunciarás a los hijos de Israel”. Hay cosas en el espíritu que nadie las puede entender, Todo lo que Dios le prometió a Abraham se lo había cumplido; Dios le había entregado la tierra que le prometió, el hijo que le prometió, la prosperidad que le prometió, pero le ordenó ir al monte Moriah para que ofreciera como sacrificio “La promesa cumplida”, Génesis 22, este era un asunto entre Dios y Abraham y cuando descendió del monte vino con una promesa; Génesis 22:14-18; “Juró por si mismo”…

Día 11 | Enero 11 “No será quitado el cetro de Judá, Ni el legislador de entre sus pies, Hasta que venga Siloh; Y a él se congregarán los pueblos.” Génesis 49:10 Judá tendría un rol muy importante como líder de las tribus y aun después de la división de los dos reinos: el reino del norte o Israel y el reino del sur o de las dos tribus. Estas últimas terminaron tomando el nombre del reino de Judá. Después de las deportaciones de Siria y Babilonia solo el reino de Judá regresó y terminó congregando a toda la nación del cual toma su nombre: el Pueblo Judio. La profecía de Génesis 49: 10 va más allá del aspecto histórico y geográfico de la tribu de Judá. De esa tribu vendría el mesías que no sólo reuniría a todas las tribus sino que en el persona de Jesús, serían congregadas todas las naciones. El evangelio de Juan 10:16 nos dice: “También tengo otras ovejas que no son de este redil; aquéllas también debo traer, y oirán mi voz; y habrá un rebaño, y un pastor.” De todas las naciones y credos religiosos saldrán las ovejas fieles del rebaño de Dios. Todos ellos oirán su voz durante el fuerte pregón y saldrán del error y habrá un solo rebaño o la iglesia triunfante, y un solo pastor: Jesucristo. Jesus ha roto toda barrera de division nacionalista, y en el ha unido de toda tribu, lengua y pueblo, bajo su bandera ensangrentada. El también puede unir familias y hogares separados bajo su esperanza de reconciliación. Permite que él haga esa obra en tu vida. Día 10 | Enero 10 “No será quitado el cetro de Judá, Ni el legislador de entre sus pies, Hasta que venga Siloh; Y a él se congregarán los pueblos.” Génesis 49:10 Esta profecía es dada por Jacob a su hijo Judá, donde se habla de que Judá sería el líder entre las tribus hasta la venida de “Shiloh”. Hay múltiples interpretaciones acerca significado de esta palabra, Siloh, pero la más correcta es “dador de descanso” o “pacificador”. De la línea de Judá vendrian los reyes del pueblo de Israel, siempre con el objetivo de traer paz a la tierra prometida. Pero rey tras rey se veía que esa paz no se materializaba hasta que llegó Jesus, el Mesías. Cuando nació nuestro salvador Jesucristo, ya la línea real de la tribu de Judá se había perdido. En el trono de Israel, en el monte de Sión, estaba un gobernante Romano. Era un momento de inestabilidad social y política en Israel. Era el momento donde más se necesitaba, paz. Jesus fue eso y más, porque su mensaje traía una paz perdurable, que no depende de las circunstancia externas. Esta paz comienza en la raíz o en la causa de todos los conflictos y guerras: en el corazón humano. Hay muchos lugares en el mundo que ofrecen refugio a las personas que vienen de zonas de conflicto, violencia e inestabilidad; pero aún en esos lugares hay muchos que viven en total desesperación y zozobra. La razón de esto es que a sus vidas no ha llegado “Shiloh, el pacificador''. El apóstol Juan lo dice en el 17:3 “Y esta es la vida eterna: que te conozcan a ti, el único Dios verdadero, y a Jesucristo, a quien has enviado.” ¿Ya conoces a Jesuscristo y la paz que él da? This week on Beer Sessions Radio, Jimmy is highlighting the powerful women defining the craft malt industry. On the show is Jesse Bussard from the North American Craft Maltsters Guild in Bozeman, MT; Kether Scharff-Gray from Mainstem Malt in Walla Walla, WA; and Hilary Barile from Rabbit Hill Farms & Malt House in Shiloh, NJ.To kick things off, Jesse introduces us to her role at the Craft Maltsters Guild. Then, Hilary walks us through Rabbit Hill Farms and Malthouse, where they grow and malt all their grains themselves. The agriculture side of growing barley is very important, and Hilary discusses the challenges of weather, seasons, and supplying locally. Kether also reflects on the climate out in Washington and the complications of growing dry land grain.Jesse then highlights the quality control process, which takes place in labs across the country. This work helps develop regionally adapted barley varieties, matching the crop to the environment where it would have the best chance of growing. Speaking of grains, the gang then names an iconic beer with flavor dependent on its malt, and reflects on reeducating the brewing community about the agriculture side of beer. To wrap things up, Jesse, Kether, and Hilary explain the strong role women have played in the development of the craft malt industry, and the task force the Guild is creating to help work towards more diversity and inclusion. Beer List:1. Siloh is a real estate investor based out of Las Vegas. His main investing strategy is to buy a portfolio of properties, often a hundred properties a week, and then wholesaling them to their list of cash buyers. But more incredibly, just a few years ago, Siloh was a homeless man who spent 7 months on the street! Through persistence and the power of broke, he came up from humble beginnings and now runs an inc 100 company! He runs his business with a mission: “to make sure no one goes hungry or gets denied the right to homeownership”. This week's guest was once homeless, and now he's an award-winning business consultant, philanthropist, and community leader.  He has won pitch competitions, been recognized by Congress, and was recently ranked in the Las Vegas 40 Under 40. Siloh Moses was barely off the streets himself when he started feeding the hungry in his hometown of Las Vegas, and from that first pot of spaghetti, Serving Hope LV began to take shape.  His consulting practice is called WeWin360, and while his methods may have become sophisticated over time, the purpose is simple: using business as a force for good.
