Our sermon explored the profound story of Noah and the wickedness that pervaded the world before the flood. We delved into the controversial topic of the "sons of God" and "daughters of men," examining how this ultimate act of rebellion against God's natural order led to His judgment. The sermon highlighted the patience of God, the depravity of man when left to his own devices, and the importance of obedience and faith in the face of societal pressure and ridicule.Takeaways:God is patient, but there will come a time when His judgment arrives. We must not mistake His patience for indifference or approval of sin.Like Noah, we are called to stand firm in our faith and obedience to God, even when it sets us apart from the world around us.Our current society, though different from Noah's time, still challenges God's order and natural design. We must be vigilant in maintaining our faith and values.

How God Says He Loves Us: Part 1 -- The Covenant with Noah MESSAGE SUMMARY: We have a God that loves us so much, and God's love for us is expressed to us through His “covenants”. Also, God's “covenants” reveal to us His grace and faithfulness. In today's message, we will discuss God's Covenant with Noah. A “covenant” can be defined as an “oath or promise of God”. In a Biblical covenant: 1) God establishes the Covenant; 2) God always implies that “I am your God, and you are my people” – God desires a personal relationship with us; and 3) God sets the covenant's terms and rulers. In Genesis 6:5-22, the corruption of humanity, through mankind's sin after the Fall, became too much for God, and He became sorry that He made mankind. From Genesis, we know that God “grieved in His heart” because of human evil, corruption, and violence. However, Noah found favor in the eyes of God. Noah was righteous and blameless, and Noah “walked with God”. After destroying all humans and all other inhabitants of the earth, except for Noah, his family, those animals that Noah collected for His arch, God “blessed Noah in Genesis 9:1-29; and God established His covenant with Noah in Genesis 9:9-1:10,11-13: “'Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, and with every living creature that is with you . . . that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.' And God said, ‘This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.'". Therefore, this covenant is not only with Noah and all other living things on the earth; but God's covenant with Noah is with us too! The “rain'bow'” is a sign of this covenant between Noah and all humanity; and this “rainbow” is, also, a sign of God's love, grace, and mercy. In 1 Peter 3:18-21, the Apostle Peter relates Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross, which is redemptive covenant for our salvation, to God's earlier covenant with Noah: “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ . . .". In this text from 1 Peter, we learn that our “baptism” represents our Salvation through Jesus. Like Noah and his family, we have been saved “through the water” not “by the water”. Therefore, “baptism” is another covenant between God and all humanity, through God's Grace, to save mankind from itself if we accept God's Grace. God does not see us, now, in our sin like humanity's evil of Noah's time; rather, God sees us through the eternal (like the “rainbow”) “Justifying” covenant blood of Jesus. TODAY'S PRAYER: Keeping the Sabbath, Lord, will require a lot of changes in the way I am living life. Teach me, Lord, how to take the next step with this in a way that fits my unique personality and situation. Help me to trust you with all that will remain unfinished and to enjoy my humble place in your very large world. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Speaker: Homero Aziz A band of missionaries working all around the world visited us for a morning. Homero introduces them and brings a lesson from the story of Noah. The story of Noah offers profound lessons on navigating life's challenges through faith, obedience, and trust. Noah lived righteously in a corrupt world, walking faithfully with God even when it meant standing apart from the values of his time. His life demonstrates the importance of aligning our actions with God's guidance to find favor in His eyes and reflect His love to others. Noah's obedience to God's call was remarkable, as he undertook the monumental task of building the ark despite its immense challenges and the ridicule of others. His trust in God's promises sustained him through the storms, both literal and figurative, reminding us that God has the power to guide us safely through life's trials. Even after the flood, when Noah stepped into a world marked by devastation, his first act was to worship God, offering a sacrifice of gratitude. Like Noah, we are called to walk faithfully, obey courageously, trust deeply, and worship wholeheartedly, bringing hope and light to a broken world. Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Let's look first today at what Noah did. He literally prepared a wooden box (an ark) to save his family from a rain that he had never seen happen. Therefore, his obedience wasn't motivated by reason or natural understanding. We know it was an act of radical obedience simply because of the enormous size of the ark and therefore the time required to complete the project. Second, let's be encouraged by the fact that Noah prepared the ark in reverence. The Greek word translated reverence here was translated piety in Heb. 5:7. “In the days of His flesh, He (Jesus) offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.” It means both Jesus and Noah received well what God told them to do. It describes an attitude of heart that is devoted to accomplishing the will of God. That's why they both received grace to obey, and God gets the glory. We have been commanded to love one another as proof of being Jesus' disciples. Faith enables us to receive Jesus' commandment well, which moves us to confidently seek God for grace to love for His glory. Third, let's consider why he built the ark. I see two motivations in this verse. God told him to, and he loved his family. So the two motivations were obedience and love. Let's note what drove the obedience and love. It was faith—faith that rose up within him when he heard God speak. But Noah wasn't always a man of faith. In Gen. 6:5, God described Noah along with everyone else on the planet at that time. “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Then in 8-9 we find an unexpected declaration. “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD…Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.” Noah was like Enoch. God chose to act favorably toward Noah. He didn't deserve it. God's grace to Noah was a favor, an act of 100% grace, not a reward for good deeds. Before God revealed Himself to Noah, every intent of Noah's heart was only evil continually. At some point in his life, God gave Noah faith. He believed he continuously walked in God's presence and that God would reward him if he continuously drew near to Him. It was by faith that Noah built the ark and loved his family. Fourth, Noah inherited the righteousness of Christ, which is given in accordance with faith. If God gives faith, then God gives righteousness. They are a package given in love. If we believe in Jesus Christ and intentionally practice abiding in Him, drawing near to Him for grace to trust and love, then we also are heirs of righteousness. Like Noah, may we receive well God's call to live to love with Jesus. I encourage you to draw near to the throne of grace all day, in every situation and relationship. You are building your ark one plank at a time by faith for the benefit of those you love.
✨ Genesis 10: Noah's Sons and the Two Paths ✨Noah's sons — Shem, Ham, and Japheth — each received incredible gifts: land, language, and culture. But their stories took different turns.
Why did Noah have to build an ark? Clearly, this was a very difficult and complicated way for Hashem to save Noah and his family from the flood. Not only did Noah have the go through the trouble of building this enormous edifice – a project which, according to tradition, took over 100 years to complete! – but it also subjected Noah and his family to grueling hardship. They lived together with all the animals, enduring great suffering. For one thing, we cannot even imagine the stench in the ark from all the waste produced by the animals. And, Noah was responsible for feeding every animal – such that he could never rest, as he needed to ensure that every animal was fed on time, and the different species all have different feeding schedules. This was an unfathomably challenging experience for Noah and his family. So why did Hashem save them this way? Hashem had an infinite number of ways to rescue Noah and his family. Why did He choose to have them live on an ark? The Meshech Hochma (Rav Meir Simcha Ha'kohen of Dvinsk, 1843-1926) answers that the ark was necessary in order for Noah and his family to experience what we might call "detox." As the Torah describes, the people of Noah's time were sinful, corrupt and degenerate. The society was overrun by greed, immorality and violence. People were concerned exclusively with the pursuit of self-gratification, completely disregarding the needs of others. And although Noah and his family were righteous, they were undoubtedly affected by their surroundings. Living in a society makes it all but impossible to avoid the influences of that society's value system, beliefs and culture. To some small extent, Noah and his family were influenced by their society's culture of selfishness, wanton indulgence, and cruelty. In order for this culture to be completely eliminated, Noah and his family – who would rebuild the world after the flood – needed to be purged of this influence. And for this reason, the Meshech Hochma explains, Hashem commanded them to spend a year in the ark. During this year, they were compelled to act precisely opposite of their contemporaries. They had no possibility of indulging in food, as their food supply was limited without ever being replenished. They could not live in comfort. And, they spent the entire year caring for animals, extending themselves on behalf of other creatures. For an entire year, Noah and his family were completely immersed in selflessness – thereby purging themselves of all traces of influence from the immoral society in which they had lived. Sadly, we, too, are living in a degenerate society. Our generation has embraced corrupt ideas, and inverts right and wrong. Throughout the last year, Israel has consistently been depicted as the villain, while the Hamas terrorists are seen as the helpless victims. Good is turned into bad and bad is turned into good. Basic morality is ridiculed and shunned, as are the values of self-discipline, self-restraint, and dignity. Wanton pleasure-seeking is encouraged as an ideal, and any limitations are frowned upon. Like Noah, we need to build an "ark" for ourselves – and, far more importantly, we need to make the most of this "ark." Our modern-day "ark" is our community institutions – our yeshivot, Bateh Midrash, synagogues, and communal learning programs. In this "ark," we immerse ourselves in Torah values, in morality, in spirituality. We "detox," reminding ourselves of what's right and what's wrong, of which lifestyles are appropriate and which are inappropriate, of which relationships are proper and which are improper, of how a family should look like, and of how we are to live our lives. Of course, we cannot spend our lives in the "ark." Just as Noah and his family were eventually told to exit the ark, we, too, need to spend time outside our "ark" and interact and engage with the world around us. Therefore, we need to make the most of the time spent in the "ark." Youngsters in our community's educational institutions need to be encouraged to maximize their learning and their participation in educational programming. Adults need to be fully engaged when they come to synagogue and Torah classes, recognizing the great importance of this "detox" process, of inoculating themselves against the pervasive influences of our society. Only this way can we hope to protect ourselves and our families, to retain our loyalty and devotion to Torah values, and successfully maintain our precious Torah tradition and transmit it to the next generation.

"Righteous" is a word that usually has either a theological connotation or "self-" in front of it. Genesis 6 describes Noah as righteous and blameless. Read the chapter and see his actions. He didn't say a word, but he acted. But these actions showed his righteousness; they didn't establish it. Like ours, Noah's righteousness was through God. Like Noah, our righteousness results in God-pleasing action.

It's hard to wait. Sometimes it's painful. But waiting is a critical element of our faith, and we can learn a lot about it from Noah. In the story of Noah's Ark, you may have heard that it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, but at the end of chapter seven, the Bible says that the flood lasted 150 days. The rain stopped, but Noah is just waiting! It couldn't have been easy. Can you imagine the tension in the Ark? What is God doing out there? What is happening? Like Noah, you may have to wait to see how God works. Learn more about Mountaintop Church at https://mountaintopchurch.com VIDEO: https://youtu.be/PkWs-WvFs2w

Welcome to the first episode of the Troy Beyer podcast. Troy will continue to focus on restoring manhood but is transitioning the podcast to an interview format. Instead of Troy being the only one talking he will be bringing on wise and powerful people to talk about what it takes to be a man today, current events, and whatever else he wants to talk about. Today's interview is with a truly powerful man who recently has stepped out in faith to do something many men wish they had the guts to do. He took Noah's lead and listened to God in doing something that many thought he was crazy for doing. Do not miss this episode, it's a winner! In this devotional session, the speaker reflects on the obedience and faith of Noah, highlighting how Noah responded to God's commands to build an ark despite never having seen rain or a flood. Drawing parallels to modern times, the speaker encourages listeners to remain steadfast in their Christian walk, even in the face of discouragement and opposition. The message underscores the importance of yielding fully to God's will, standing strong in faith, and encouraging oneself and others in the Lord. 00:00 Introduction and Greetings 00:14 Reflecting on Elijah A. Financial planning involves a lot of planning ahead, much like Noah did when he started building the ark long before the rain began. This metaphor serves as a powerful reminder that proactive planning is essential for weathering financial storms. Eric highlights that while we can't predict events like market crashes or global pandemics, we can prepare for them by stress-testing our financial plans. Here's some of what we discuss in this episode: Noah's ark and financial planning. Preparing for the unexpected. Having a diversified income stream. I've heard so many people say "don't do this" or "don't do that". That's exactly what people said to Noah when he was building the ark, but... Noah followed and did exactly what God asked Him to do despite what others said and we need to do the same and follow what God asked us to do.

Ever had an experience that at first jostled you but then left you with lasting joy? I've had several, but the one I'll be talking about this Sunday in my Week 13, "Flourishing Trees" series sermon, is from just last summer. That turbulent but triumphant experience is somewhat like the experience we get from this week's passage, Matthew 7:13-23 (read it now to get the turbulence over with). This Sunday will be a special one at "new Hillside", mainly because we'll be back in our beautiful worship home after several months of "camping" in the Community Center. Friends, the "flood" is over. Like Noah and his crew exiting the ark, we're back on dry land! Really hoping to see you for this new start. Remember, your presence alone advances our Hillside mission to 'Help everyone know and follow King Jesus." So please join your church family in person if you're healthy and not on a road trip! (Hebrews 11:7) In this seemingly hopeless time, should Christians cower in a corner in fear? Should we focus on the wickedness around us? No! Like Noah, we should live confidently in the character of God, listening carefully to His warnings. (07244231012)

Hebrews 11:6-76 And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith, he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. The Last Days - The Days of Noah Noah's Faith 1. Faith responds in obedience 2. Faith rebukes ungodliness 3. Faith results in reward Our Response
Every once in a while Hollywood will get your hopes up, and then... you know. Yeah, like a few years ago they were going to make a movie about Noah and Noah's Ark. Yeah, Noah's Ark Rides Again! They were hoping it would bring in a flood of money. Well, the word was that the telling of this iconic story started with the Bible account, and then it added a very heavy dose of Hollywood imagination with great special effects. Probably no match, though, for the original. Now, with Noah showing up in TV ads, it kind of made me go back to the non-fiction, original narrative - I mean Bible-style. I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "A 21st Century Ark" I found more than a story. I found insights as current as today's news. If old Noah showed up today, he'd be blown away by all that's changed. And all that hasn't. Like the five game-changers I found for any generation. 1. God still has His Noahs. The original Story says, "Noah was a righteous man...and he walked in close fellowship with God." The moral heroes in any generation are the ones who stand for what's right when no one else is, even when they stand alone. They're rare, but they're like uncommon collectibles, they're really valuable. And "Noah (maybe like you if you're standing for the right thing), found favor in the eyes of the Lord." 2. God still has boundaries. In the Bible's words, "The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth...that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence." He'd set boundaries. They didn't care. Sounds familiar. The culture doesn't decide what's right. Polls or politicians may tell us what's politically correct, but not what's wrong. That's up to the One who put us here. Like Noah's contemporaries, we can always find a way to justify our "I don't care what You say, God." But His boundaries don't move. He's God. And I'm pretty sure He reacts to our rebellion the same way He did in Noah's time. The Bible says, "It broke His heart." 3. God still has penalties for going out of bounds. God promised Noah He wouldn't do the flood thing again. But there must be a Judgment Day. The Bible says, "It is appointed to man to die once, and after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27). I'll bet the Noah Gen folks told Noah, "We're getting away with it, old man." They were wrong. 4. God still has an Ark. A safe place. Noah and his family, it says, "went on board the boat to escape the flood." Like countless people over 2,000 years, I ran to the haven that God has provided from His judgment. It's not a ship. It's a Savior. The Bible says in our word for today from the Word of God in Romans 8:1, "There is now no condemnation (that means I'm safe!) for those who are in Christ Jesus." How can God say that when I've rebelled against Him? I've done a lot of wrong things. I've broken His laws. I've defied His rulership of my life. There's a death penalty for that. How can He say there's no condemnation? Because Christ Jesus, His Son, paid the penalty that I deserve. And when you open up your life to Him and put your life in His hands, you are in essence entering the ark of safety where you will be eternally safe with Him forever. If you've never opened your heart to Him, do it today. I'd love to help you be sure you belong to Him. And we'll do that at our website. Just check it out. It's ANewStory.com. By the way, one other factor: 5. God still has a "rainbow." In the biblical account, God says, "The rainbow is a sign...Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life." That's a guaranteed future anchored to a promise. I know that feeling. The Bible says, "Anyone who believes in God's Son has eternal life" (John 3:36). It doesn't get any better than that. Check out that original story of Noah. It's a mirror to see our time - to see ourselves. And to see only hope is God's safe place.
Can you imagine the scene? You're living inside this huge ship with your family and lots of animals. It starts to rain heavily. An uneasy feeling grabs you when the thought crosses your mind, “Will this thing float? Oh no, what if it leaks?” Then, suddenly, you hear creak, creak, creak, and the door to the ship shuts all by itself! In Pastor Mark's message today, he teaches us that God comforts those who trust Him and obey Him, especially when the situation looks bleak. When God tells us to do something or go somewhere, He has a plan to use us to bring Himself more glory. Like Noah, let's be quick to listen to God and do what He says to do.
Noah possessed stubborn faith, and Creation responds to stubborn demonstrations of faith. What would make you be stubborn like Noah? If you desire to be great, what makes you great exists within your answer. This episode provokes the subconscious thought of what stubborn demonstration of faith are you willing to exhibit to create the life you truly desire. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mindoftheprophet/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mindoftheprophet/support

Bible Reading: Romans 12:10-18"Can you help me line up my Noah's ark animals, Liam?" asked Liam's little brother Ethan. He looked at their sister. "You can help too, Maelie.""Okay." Liam sat down at the table. "Anthony is such a pain," he said as he placed the toy elephants side by side. "He's always talking about his soccer team. Who cares?" Maelie picked up the pigs. "He's that new kid in your class at church, right? He can't be worse than Mia. She thinks she's so great just because she gets good grades in everything! She won the Bible trivia contest at church last month and is still talking about it." Maelie set the pigs down. Liam grinned. "Hey! You better not leave your pigs next to Mrs. Noah. I'm sure she won't like the smell!" Maelie giggled. "I wouldn't have liked to be Mrs. Noah--living in a boat full of smelly, noisy animals! They probably fought all the time too." "I like animals," said Ethan. "They didn't fight, did they, Mommy?" Mom smiled. "I like to think they all got along--and Noah's family too. You'd think they'd be so thankful to be safe on the ark that they'd gladly put up with bad smells and loud noises--and also each other, even though I'm sure it wasn't easy to be stuck on a boat together for so long. But we aren't always like that with our family members, are we?"Liam and Maelie looked at each other. "We're getting along just fine," Maelie said, confused."I was referring to a different family," Mom replied. "Like Noah and his family, we've also been saved. Jesus has saved us from sin and death, and all those who trust in Him are part of God's family. Yet I've been listening to you grumble about your family members and complain about things Anthony and Mia do that annoy you. But don't we all do annoying things at times? We're blessed to have lots of brothers and sisters in Christ--everyone who knows Him is one of His children. Instead of grumbling, we should be thankful to be part of God's family and to have eternal security in Jesus. We should love one another as He loves us." -Tanya Ferdinandusz How About You?Do other people sometimes annoy you? Do you grumble and complain about them when they do? The Bible tells us to love all people, but especially those who are fellow believers. God's family is like Noah's ark--it contains all of God's children, even those we don't always get along with. But we have all been saved by Jesus and are loved by Him. Live in harmony with your brothers and sisters in Christ by being patient with them and showing them love.Today's Key Verse:Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. (CSB) (Romans 12:10)Today's Key Thought:Love one another
How God Says He Loves Us: Part 1 -- The Covenant with Noah MESSAGE SUMMARY: We have a God that loves us so much, and God's love for us is expressed to us through His “covenants”. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 129). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM RIGHTEOUS IN GOD'S EYES. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): Genesis 6:5-22; Genesis 9:1-29; 1 Peter 3:18-21; Psalms 28:1-9. I The word of the Lord endures forever.' Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you." 1Pe 1:25 NKJVIn the fourteenth century, there was not a single copy of the Bible in English! It was available only in Latin, the language of the clergy, and those were chained to the podiums of the cathedrals. Then a prominent professor of divinity at Oxford University said, "This is not right. People should be able to read the Bible in their own language." Church leaders branded him a heretic and an instrument of the devil. Like Noah who pounded the nails into the ark while people ridiculed and scorned him, John Wycliffe began translating the Scriptures as a flood of persecution emerged around him. When he finally completed his translation of the Scriptures, he wrote this in the flyleaf of the first copy of the English Scriptures: "This Bible is translated and shall make possible a government of the people, by the people, and for the people." Five hundred years later, President Abraham Lincoln borrowed that statement for his famous Gettysburg Address.Thirty years after Wycliffe died, he was again proclaimed a heretic. Consequently, his body was exhumed, and his bones were burned to dust, and his ashes cast into a river. A contemporary historian describes the scene like this: "Thus this brook hath conveyed his ashes into (the river) Avon, Avon into Severn, Severn into the narrow seas, they into the ocean. And thus ashes...are the emblem of his doctrine…now..dispersed the world over." Hence Peter writes, "'The word of the Lord endures forever.' Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached unto you."Support the show

This new data from Barna will blow your mind. Tell me your thoughts on 2023. I will share here (not on the video) what the Father is telling me about 2023! PROPHECY 2023 The Lord says: “Be careful to put on the whole armor of God in these days, for some have neglected to cover their heads in the day of battle and have let the enemy rob their HOPE. The night is coming upon the earth but you are not of the night, you are the children of the day and walk in the light. “But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the HOPE of salvation as a helmet.” (1 Thess 5:8) My desire is your full and complete salvation and deliverance. There are aspects of salvation I would have you explore and be thoroughly convinced of. Darkness will cover the earth but on YOU the light of my GLORY COMES. “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.” (Isa 60:2) Consider well the operation of faith, hope and love, for in such a way does the bride “make herself ready”. For the glory that is to be revealed in my temple in the latter days is greater than the glory of the former days. This glory will be manifest in my temple - and YOU are the temple of the living God. You are My house. For the helmet of HOPE covers your THOUGHT-LIFE. Your thought-life must be protected so that your faith remains strong. Notice the relationship between HOPE and FAITH. “Faith is the substance of things HOPED FOR…” (Heb 11:1) If the enemy can get your hope he gets your faith. If he gets your head he gets your heart. Note the whole armor of God is needed for BOTH head and heart. The breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS covers the vulnerable organs, especially the heart. Keep yourself free from condemnation in your heart because unresolved guilt short-circuits your faith. Righteousness comes by repentance and faith in the blood. This cleanses your conscience from accusation. This is what protects your heart from condemnation. Your heart is where belief resides. Man believes with the heart. This is where the force of FAITH dwells. Guard your heart with all diligence and protect it from strife and bitterness. In this way you guard your faith. Faith is a powerful force but it works and is energized by LOVE. “Faith -worketh- (worketh is the word “energized” in Greek) by love” (Gal 5:6) Notice how these three work together: faith hope and love. 1. Love is the catalyst. 2. Hope gets the blueprint. 3. Faith is the substance that materializes what hope provided. The renewed mind is where the blueprint of hope is created. Everything you could ask or think of must be accompanied by an image. Casting down imaginations and bringing every thought into obedience frees up your mind to have the IMAGES and imaginations of God on the screen. Thus you are “renewed in the spirit of you mind” (Eph 4:23) and “transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:1-2) This renewing process is the discipline of study, meditation, and appropriation of the mind of Christ through the Word of God. This is building or forming a helmet of salvation, a divine protection over your thought life. It is also how you build and access an arsenal of divine ideas that have authority to be manifested on the earth. Did you catch all that? You should print that all out and meditate on it. I think I will. The Lord told me that “men's hearts failing them” in the natural would be a sign of spiritual heart failure in many who are falling away from their faith. They fall because they gave up hope because of the increase of darkness. They lost faith. The Lord was telling me that as we press into a right understanding of what God is doing we shall be building layers of HOPE around our mind. This hope will furnish a blueprint for FAITH to materialize. That blueprint is like Noah's ark. Build it and it will keep you thru the flood. The ark had three levels: 30,60,100 fold. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for.” (Romans 5:5) And equally important is LOVE because faith operates by love. In the last days lawlessness will cause lovelessness to be a major attack from hell in order to break down unity and the coming moves of God. “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” (Mt 24:12) But those who guard their minds and hearts will tap into the supernatural LOVE OF GOD. It won't be your love or your faith it will be the Gods own powerful faith and love. Paul said, “I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us.” (Gal 2:20) It's Gods faith that will keep your faith alive. Likewise when your heart is faint, and you are vexed by the lawlessness of others, it is not your love, it's Gods supernatural love kicking in by the indwelling Spirit. “Now HOPE does not disappoint, because the LOVE of God has been poured out in our hearts BY THE HOLY SPIRIT who was given to us.” (Ro 5:5) Notice how the love that is shed abroad from the Holy Spirit INSIDE US connects us to the HOPE that does not disappoint. What is hope? It is the confident expectation of good that will come out of the present momentary challenge or contradiction. It is a picture of the future that God paints on our imagination as we meditate upon what He wants to do. Hold onto that picture. It feeds the image to faith so that faith can make it materialize. Faith is the substance maker and materializer of things you hope for in your mind. It often materializes better than you can ask or think. But asking and thinking are part of the process. Guard your thoughts with the helmet of hope, the confident expectation that Gods will shall be done and you will be a winner and not a looser. An overcomer. One by one those strongholds are coming down by the authority of Christ. God is giving us greater revelation of salvation in these days. “How shall we escape, if we neglect so GREAT SALVATION…?” (Heb 2:3) Why is it called a GREAT salvation? Why is God taking us back to basics? Because within the scope of this salvation is a 30 fold and 60 fold and 100 fold dimension. Like Noah's ark with three floors. PERHAPS My spiritual mother had a vision of the words “so great salvation” and saw three levels of attainment by the saints “working out” their salvation. In fact she saw the words: “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who is at work in you to both will and to do His good pleasure.” (Phil 2:12-13) 1. There are those who will be JUSTIFIED (30 fold) Christ is the Way TO heaven. These are saved as by fire. 2. There will be those who will be SANCTIFIED (60 fold) Christ is the way and TRUTH. Christ is working IN them. 3. There will be those who will be GLORIFIED (100 fold) Christ the way and the truth and the LIFE! Christ is working THRU them. They are manifesting Christ's LIFE. Resurrection life. These would be the manifestation of the sons of God spoke of in Romans 8. The Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary says something interesting about this. “So great salvation” - embodied in Jesus, whose very name means "salvation," including not only deliverance from foes and from death, and the grant of temporal blessings (which the law promised to the obedient), but also grace of the Spirit, forgiveness of sins, and the promise of heaven, glory, and eternal life (Heb 2:10). “Take the helmet of salvation.”
Mega Quake 2023 "It's about to happen!" Dr. Richard Ruhling pt 1 https://amzn.to/3qMlWSr ()With all that has been happening in the world, and especially here in the United States recently, some are wondering if this all points to the Biblical “end times” as depicted in the Bible. In fact, in the Book of Daniel, he is told to “…shut up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam to and fro and knowledge will increase.” My guest today is a frequent guest on our program. I always look forward to Dr. Richard Ruhling's appearances as his knowledge on a variety of topics always speaks directly to things we see happening all around us. From the COVID virus to eating healthy instead of taking toxic medications; from signs of the times to warnings from the Bible, Dr. Ruhling has proven himself to be an expert that we can turn to for a wealth of information. He is releasing a new book right now, https://amzn.to/3qMlWSr (“Mega Quake 2023”) that goes into great detail on WHY we are now entering the “last days” before the return of Jesus. But he goes a lot deeper than just “saying” we are in the last days. He is sharing a wealth of information – all with the purpose for YOU to give God and Jesus another chance. Amen! You do not want to be “one of those” who are crying out in misery remembering how you could have learned some things here that will translate into even better things there, in Heaven. Amen! Anyway, help me welcome back to the program, our dear friend, Dr. Richard Ruhling! Dr. Ruhling, as we discussed before we went live with the recording, I've been a follower of your ministry efforts for, I can't remember for sure, but about the last 4 or 5 years, at least. I learn a lot from every interview we do and I believe our listeners do as well. For the benefit of first time listeners, or, for that matter, anyone who is interested in listening to the Godly Timeline for us today… Your book, https://amzn.to/3qMlWSr (“Mega Quake 2023”), will explain things into a lot more detail than we will be cover here, but let's try! Amen? Tell us about the “mega-quakes” you are predicting between now and 2023… We are told, over and over again in the Bible, that certain events, or “signs” will happen just before Jesus returns. Can you give us a few glimpses into how you book ties these events to current events and what the Bible has to say about them? Like Noah, etc… Are there truly parallels between the Unites States and Egypt in the Bible? Joseph's warning of seven good years and 7 bad years… How the wedding parables relate to all of this information, but doing so in ways that people think… Pastors shown as failing Christ's 9-11 warning… You discuss how we are being “prepared” for the end times through movies and things like that, depicting fiction, but actually desensitizing us to the ramifications of what is about to unfold, right before our eyes. Can you give some insight on how this soon coming earthquake is being passed off to cost us to” take our eyes off the Lord?” You give seven signs that we are in the Book of Revelation, in reference to the earthquakes.
