It is often debated whether Judas went to Heaven or Hell. The Bible give us evidence.
In tonight's podcast, we will discuss a serious matter that has the potential to send many professed Christians to Hell.
Where did Jesus go after the cross—was it hell or something else? What happened when the graves opened in Jerusalem? And does God still hear the prayers of the unsaved? Join Jim Scudder as he answers these fascinating Bible questions in Part 5 of his series, Answers.
“Whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father…” The absolute necessity of publicconfession: Faith is not a private matter; it is a public allegiance to Christ as Lord. Jesus' warning is real and serious. The danger of apostasy is not hypothetical. Those who deny Christ will be denied. And this is not a works-based salvation—but the fruit of regeneration is visible in bold confession.
I was watching a show the other day, and the people just kept saying over and over— “Go to hell! Go to hell!” And couldn't help thinking to myself…why on earth would anyone want to do that? Hell is not just a word—it's a real place. A place of regret and darkness. A place of separation from God. And if we refuse His offer of life, that's where we're headed. But hold on, there's good news! Jesus Christ made a way. He told His disciples this: “Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house there are many mansions, many rooms and I am going there to prepare a place for you.” No more pain, no more grief, no more sorrow. So don't go to hell. Come with me—let's go to Heaven together. Say yes to Jesus Christ today. Always remember, there is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

My life and ministry is dedicated to keeping people out of hell. But I would that God would let these four individuals, whose name I call, go to hell for one day then come back and share what they saw. If this request were granted I believe it would help turn this world upside down for Jesus Christ! This message will help win your loved ones to the Lord and build your faith to believe God for their salvation.

In this cautionary passage, we learn that many who claim to follow Jesus, and look the part, may inwardly rebel. Though Judas was used uniquely for God's redemptive purposes, he is a reminder that some kiss the door of heaven but still go to hell.

What if the afterlife isn't pearly gates and halos—but fire, fury, and a front-row seat to eternal damnation? This week, Willie Jackerson dives headfirst into the blazing question: What if we all go to hell? Not just the sinners, but everyone. Is it just a metaphor for our self-destructive world, or are we already halfway there? We'll explore the philosophical, spiritual, and downright apocalyptic implications of collective damnation—served with a side of dark humor and unfiltered honesty. Expect chaotic speculation, irreverent theology, and some surprisingly deep existential questions.
Garth Heckman The David Alliance TDAgiantSlayer@Gmail.com Have you ever trusted someone, only to have that person turn in to someone you don't trust to someone you actually hate… so much so you even call them wicked… even wishing them to go to hell? Thats where were going today. Matthew 25:24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn't plant and gathering crops you didn't cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.' 26 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn't plant and gathered crops I didn't cultivate, 27 why didn't you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.' GK: Sklay Ros A Harsh man… A stubborn man who expects above and beyond without apology! It can even be emphasized to mean “violently expects things to happen”. But lets take a step back and look at this master… why was he so mad? Just because the servant didn't invest? I think it goes deeper than that. The Master gave the talents according to each servants ability. V. 15 He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last—dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip. He would not have given this wicked servant talents if he had not known that he could yield a return. He is mad not just because he did nothing, he is mad because he (the servant) in doing nothing is calling the master a liar. The master believed in him… enough to give him not just talents… but the Master gave him HIS TALENTS. Can this thought shake you for a second.. the talents you have are not your talents. They have been given to you by God - they are actually his talents. Now here is where I think it gets interesting.. he says to the servant “you could have at least put them in the bank”. What does this mean to us in todays world. God is saying… yes you could have used them with my gifting entwined with your work and the talents I gave you… but even if you didn't use those talents for me, you could have at least used them in the worlds system… but you didn't even do that. You didn't use them for God, you didn't use them for the world… YOU DID NOTHING! IT WASN'T JUST A SWING AND A MISS… NO IT WAS YOU NOT EVEN SWINGING AT ALL. That is a wicked servant. But it also tells me that God talents that he gave us are just as powerful in the world as in the church. Lets not waste them. GOD BELIEVES IN YOU. DO YOU BELIVE IN YOU? TRY HIM OUT FOR SIZE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

It's Witness Wednesday! Todd Friel is at Georgia Tech where he talks with students about the fundamental questions of life, ethics, and spirituality. This episode highlights the importance of repentance, faith, and the transformative power of the Christian gospel. Segment 1: • Student attends an Episcopalian church but admits his faith doesn't impact his daily life. • He defends morality without biblical grounding and even jokes about wanting political opponents harmed. • Todd gently exposes student's contradictions, showing that ignoring God's commands doesn't erase guilt — it confirms it. Segment 2: • Student calls himself lukewarm and challenges Christianity's uniqueness among world religions. • Todd responds with the gospel's distinctiveness: only Christianity offers salvation through grace, not works. • Student intellectually engages but admits he's not living like Jesus is central — leaving his soul in dangerous territory. Segment 3: • An unnamed student confesses to lying, lust, and blasphemy, but insists being “better” should be enough. • Todd presses the reality: if God is just, then sin must be punished — and everyone's guilty. • Todd meets another student who agrees with much of the message but still thinks “being mostly good” should qualify him for heaven. Segment 4: • Todd explains the full gospel to the student — Jesus lived perfectly and died sacrificially to save sinners like him. • Student is told to go to God directly: repent, trust Christ alone, and be born again — not through religion, but real faith. • With tears in his eyes, student quietly listens, visibly affected, as Todd pleads with him to respond to the gospel. – Preorder the new book, Lies My Therapist Told Me, by Fortis Institute Fellow Dr. Greg Gifford now! https://www.harpercollins.com/pages/liesmytherapisttoldme – Thanks for listening! After he died on the cross, Christ went to Hades. This was well known in the early Church and remains important in Orthodoxy. But why? Is Hades the same as Hell? Exactly what did Christ accomplish in Hades and why was it necessary?
Unravel the mystery of what happens after death according to early Christian theology. Contrary to popular belief, Hades was not synonymous with hellfire and brimstone but rather a complex spiritual realm where souls could continue their journey towards salvation. This view is supported by scriptural references and writings from early church fathers, who spoke of gates and keys symbolizing access to preach the gospel to the dead. Such insights offer a deeper understanding of the plan of salvation, highlighting God's mercy and justice in providing every soul with the chance to accept the gospel.
Did Jesus Go To Hell? is the topic that will be discussed today on RIOT Podcast, a Christian Discipleship Podcast.

Question: Can you help me with this question: “If Jesus died for all and has legally purchased all through substitutionary atonement, then how can those people go to hell? That would be a ‘Double Jeopardy' of the sins of those people being paid for twice.” This is my husband's main question and I would really appreciate help with it based on Calvinism.Response: The Bible says that God wants all to be saved: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Pet 3:9). But the Bible also says that not all will be saved (Matt 7:21-23; Lk 13:22-27, etc). Nevertheless, the Bible also tells us that God is all powerful (Ps 147:5; Jer 32:17; Matt 19:26, etc).Calvinism has its own explanation. They strive to make things add up. “If God is all powerful,” the reasoning goes, “and God wants all people to be saved, then all people will be saved. Since not all people will be saved, Christ must have died only for some; God must not want all to be saved.”This is unbiblical according to the much-explained John 3:16 (what “world” means), and the blunt statement of 1 John 2:1-2: “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” But to some, it makes nice, theological sense. This is, however, putting one's reason above God's Word; believing what makes sense rather than believing all of what God has said. As Dave Hunt wrote in Calvin's Dilemma: God's Sovereignty vs. Man's Free Will (pp 9-10), “William L. Pettingill wrote, ‘God insists upon His sovereignty and also upon man's responsibility. Believe both and preach both, leaving the task of ‘harmonizing' with Him.' In a similar vein, A. T. Pierson, although a leading Presbyterian, declared that both ‘the sovereign will of God and the freedom of man' are taught in Scripture and that ‘if we cannot reconcile these two, it is because the subject is so infinitely lifted up above us. Man is free.... Thus the last great invitation in God's Book is an appeal to the will.'“Unfortunately, neither John Calvin nor many of his followers today have been willing to accept both sides of this biblical teaching. The result has been devastating in its consequences for the gospel: that man can only reject Christ; he cannot accept and believe in Him unless he is sovereignly regenerated by God. Calvinism refuses to accept what so many great evangelists have recognized is vital. Edgar Mullins expresses very well the essential balance that is missing:“‘Free will in man is as fundamental a truth as any other in the gospel and must never be canceled in our doctrinal statements. Man would not be man without it and God never robs us of our true moral manhood in saving us.... The decree of salvation must be looked at as a whole to understand it. Some have looked at God's choice alone and ignored the means and the necessary choice on man's part.'”

Jesus went to hell! Briefly. He gave the place a look-see after he died, and then left to go be resurrected. Or at least that's the claim that some theologies make. Where did the idea that Jesus visited hell come from? Is it Biblical? I mean, it would have to be, wouldn't it? People wouldn't just make up something like that long after the Bible had been written just because, right? Right? And speaking of hell, not every part of the Bible treats that place the same. In our second segment, we'll talk specifically about the book of Revelation and it's treatment of the bad place. Ol' John the revelator had some fascination notions and imagery to share, and his ideas about hell are particularly interesting! ---- HEY!
