We are all given a certain amount of real estate in our mind to live, create and exist. If yours is full of garbage and past bullshit how can you expect the good stuff to show up. Its time to burn your fields.
The fact that we're alive is a Damn miracle. Why are you worrying about dumb shit? Instead of worry or stress, Focus on.. "What am I contributing?"

Today, If You woke up. You have the ability to make your life what you want it to be. Regardless of our circumstances, regardless of a pandemic or shitty weather, We each have the power to be better today. If You woke up you have that chance. There are people who died yesterday who had plans for this weekend, dont forget that. Stop living in the rearview and stop the voice that tells you you're not good enough. We are as we Think we are.

"The World has never been worse" I've heard this so much and;Well, Its just not True. The truth is Nature is a dumpster Fire.. The World & Universe is unkind, unforgiving, violent and totally out of our control. What can we each do to live our lives in accordance with the nature of things? To remove our stress and anxiety and to come through difficult times with a different perspective. To be truly Happy on our own regardless of external circumstances.

Each of us have a deeper self we neglect. The parts of us that we dislike. Maybe its a tendency to quit too early or not follow through, maybe its trouble with trust. whatever it is, We have to embrace those parts and engage them to improve ourselves and learn to love those parts to change them. I'm taking you through a 90's pop song that nails life on the head and discuss cutting time wasters and the things that dont matter. Back from the Mountains! Thanks for the patience everyone!! We're back to the Podcast every Tuesday, I waited this week to upload the show for the 4th of July weekend. This week I'm highlighting just a hint of the resolve Benjamin Franklin possessed, Not only as a Founding Father, an Abolitionist, a Scientist, writer, Humorist, and so much more. He envisioned an America that was held up by a backbone of Moral Character, self betterment and unity. I highlight one of his exercises that I use Daily. Its amazing how all of this and all of us are connected. Its beautiful out there, Choose to see the good. Cheers!
During times of hardship and unrest, it's important to look back on other times like these where we as people got better. We may not get it all right but progress and growth and understanding each other as brothers and sisters and realizing were just temporary visitors on this little blue marble. We've got to talk care of each other on a community level and teach our children to be better. shout the good, help your neighbor and do whats right.
Times are weird right now. Other people are making decisions on peoples businesses and livelihood. This is some insight into the thought process of a Founder, Investor, COO in uncertain times. From his upbringing on a family tobacco farm thru the US Navy and onto building and Co-founding successful businesses, Jason Strickland give his insight into success in turbulent times and the importance of Character and moving forward. *Great One for Small Business owners!* Links: Fit Rev Training ( Hendersonville, TN ) Legion Team / Checkmat Jiu Jitsu ( Middle TN / Hendersonville, Murfreesboro, Nashville)
John Boyd certainly isn't history's darling even with a compelling 30 year career of impeccable service and innovations to our military and Aircraft Warfare. His ideas and concepts have been adopted by our military, Governments, Sports teams and used in case studies of Court litigations.. Its an interesting question we each need to ask ourselves. Which way is direction is your sail pointed? *Many quotes from and Thanks to Ryan Holliday and his Book "Ego is the enemy" Its a Must Read!
The disease of me, Our ego and getting in our own way.. It happens to us all. It happens to the best minds on the planet, but for every flawed trait we have as humans, we also have the ability to practice the opposite of it. To control how we react and how we approach situations to remove our egos. This is an amazing man who I'd never heard of until I read Ryan Holliday's "Ego is the Enemy." General George Marshall remains (after George Washington) the most respected soldier in American history. Yet he never had command of troops in battle, which is normally the customary path to greatness for a military leader. He excelled at many other tasks that a modern officer is asked to perform and then served capably in the civilian roles of diplomat and policy maker as well.
After reading some articles this week on people who went through and overcame incredible obstacles, I learned a lot I didn't know about Honest Abe, I didn't know the depression he carried, I didn't know as a wrestler he won 300 Matches, I didn't know he lost 3 of his 4 sons. He used all of these insanely difficult circumstances to push him to be better and the rest is history they say..
