The AOL merger was now nearing and the end was nigh, but could WCW deliver one final top quality Halloween Havoc ppv? Series 2 - Episode 40 - Unforgiven 1999 1999 was a time where the WWF could do no wrong! Top of the tree, making money like it was going out of fashion, this was a peak time for business. Creative however was in turmoil, the last pay per view before its head writer left for its competition, and with confusingly and inflated storylines, this pay per view could be called a little top heavy! 6 of its biggest stars in a main event and all without Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestling, this was a chance to flex its muscles! Rock, Mankind, Triple H, Big Show, Kane and the Unde....no wait...is that British Bulldog! Yes the Bulldog is back and is immediately in the main event scene again getting the title shot he so truly wants! One hell of a main event right? Oh boy, this is going to be an eye opener...and did we mention, the Kennel from Hell! 1999...Russo is going...who do we call for Creative now? Series 2 - Episode 39 - In Your House 3 Better Call Creative is the ultimate Triple Header and for our latest podcast we review wrestlings version of it. In Your House 3, the Triple Header. A main event in which all three active WWF titles were on the line as Shawn and Diesel took on tag team champions Yokozuna and Owen Hart.....well kind of....see Owen wasn't there....but he was...but he was replaced....oh this is all confusing so you had better listen and find out! The tide was high on the New Generation at this point, and wrestling couldn't be more out of touch with its audiance...want proof? A wrestling match fought over a wrestlers leather jacket! Nothing says blood feud more does it....the real issues! This is a healthy dose of 90s nostalgia but don't be fooled that pay per view was anything other than awful! Season 2 - Episode 38 - The Brawl 4 All When you make a decision to focus your wrestling podcast on the worst of wrestling one thing is for certain....you will be watching the Brawl 4 All! From the mind of Vince Russo, in 1998 the WWF had a lockeroom full of testosterone. Men who claimed to be the toughest, the baddest, the strongest. The biggest mouth of them all was Bradshaw and Russo wanted to shut him up! So he pitched to McMahon a shoot fight tournament to crown a brawl 4 all champion! Little did he know but this would be a decision that would live in history! From the shadows came an unlikely winner but that...is just a small part of the story! Series 2 - Episode 37 - Bull Buchanan Yes....we are doing a whole podcast on Bull Buchanan! It's a birthday podcast choice for our host and he has chosen to review the entire career of Bull Buchanan! How many other podcasts can you say give you this kind of content! From Smokey Mountain, to South African White Supremacist. From a riot policeman to censoring conservative. Series 2 - Episode 37 - Summerslam 1996 The biggest party of the Summer was for the first time, not the biggest party! WCW had wrestled control of the top spot from the WWF in 1996 and Vince McMahon was desperate for their newest top stars to begin to shine. Enter Shawn Michaels, Vince's Sexy Boy was now the WWF champion. The formula that had always worked was the go to for Summerslam 1996, the plucky underdog against the big bad monster. Vader! Would this be Vader Time? Should this have been Vader Time? Well we review Summerslam 1996 to see what this show could have been, and reimagine just how this damaging loss to Shawn could have lead to something much more promising for the Mastadon! Series 2 - Episode 36 - Tugboat - Typhoon -Shockmaster Our latest podcast will shock the world....well maybe not, the most shocking thing is it took so long for us to review one of the greatest botched debuts of all time! Fred Ottman had built a strong career in the WWF with gimmicks like Tugboat who hung and bung with Hulk Hogan on the deck of the titanic....and Typhoon, the red version of Earthquake! However he would live in wrestling history when in 1993 he headed to WCW and became the Shockmaster! We will follow his journey through that wall, as we check out his career in full from Georgia, through Memphis, Germany and Japan! There may be no shocks here but still somebody had Better Call Creative! Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Series 2 - Episode 35 - Bash at the Beach 2000 The legend of Bash at the Beach has lived on for almost a quarter century. A pay per view which perfectly captures a moment in time, and arguably the very moment WCW stopped being competition for WWF. Mid 2000s WCW was a mixed up mess, a power struggle behind the scenes which would play out in front of the very eyes of fans. Hogan, Russo and Bischoff would all implode, and it would end in a pay per view that has three different World Champions. We look back at the entire pay per view which deserves a deep dive as trust us, there is way more than Russo's rant worth discussing on this show! We then reimagine what could have happened to sort this entire mess out if Hulk Hogan ever stepped foot back in a WCW ring! So grab a microphone and scream at the creative here! Series 2 - Episode 34 - Super Showdown 2019 When you mention the streak in wrestling, there is two trails of thought. The legendary Wrestlemania streak of the phenom, 21 straight wins at wrestlemania, a feat unlikely to ever be matched. Or you could be talking about Goldbergs unbeaten streak, 173 wins unbroken! Two huge legends, and in Saudi Arabia, 2019, these two streaks would clash! Legends would rise! A match that has now created a legend of its own for all the wrong reasons, we head back 5 years to check out Super Showdown 2019. A show remembered for its main event, but worthy of so much more. HHH would fight his last bout, Mansoor would have his biggest win and Lars Sullivan would struggle to beat 3 luchadores in his debut squash match! This truly is a Legend of a Show! Series 2 - Episode 33 - TNA Slammiversary 2017 By 2017, TNA had gone through a lot of changes, and Slammiversary 2017 would bid farewell to the TNA brand entirely for a while, soon to be replaced by GFW, Global Force Wrestling led by....Jeff Jarrett! This show features some of the old of TNA, and some of the new faces. Lashley versus Alberto see's out the ppv but before that we are treated to the birth of a new comedy double act! Matthews and Steiner, move over Ant and Dec! As we always say though for all the good...remember you are still TNA...for the moment at least! Who is creative these days? Series 2 - Episode 32 - Worst Ruthless Aggression GimmicksAfter the success of the Attitude Era what the WWE needed most was breakthrough stars. The new Rock, the new Austin, they neded someone with Ruthless Aggression! An era that was defined by the new stars of Orton, Cena and Batista, the rebirth of DX, the death of Vince McMahon....ok maybe not that but it also featured some of the weirdest, strangest and down right terrible gimmicks of all time.We are dusting off the Wrestlecup to decide which gimmick was the Worst of the Ruthless Aggression era!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Season 2 - Episode 31- JCW Legends and IconsIt's Sam's Birthday Podcast and the choice was his. In true Sam style we get a swerve Russo would be proud of as he has chosen a JCW show! Legends and Icons!Bob Backlund vs Ken PateraRoddy Piper v Terry FunkGreg Valentine v Tito Santana in a cage...sounds great...but this was in 2011! We may have foud the very worst wrestling show ever to be peddled out, and all this happened at 3am in front of drunk Juggalos! Is there even a creative to call here? Season 2 - Episode 31 - The Death of Mr McMahonWWE in 2007 was not in the best shape, with the creation of new stars waining, and reliance on old acts like DX, Undertaker and Kane and the new ECW brand not hitting the mark there was an air of desperation. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and like an ailing soap opra, the best way to boost interest, is a death! Only one character was big enough to be killed off...Mr McMahon! A bewildered broken Mr McMahon would take his final step into his limo only to be blown to high heaven! However...sometimes life has a funny way of imitating art, and a few weeks later, a real life series of deaths would scupper the plans and bring it to a halt never to be discussed again...well..until now! We re-examine and reimagine what this storyline could have become! Rest in Peace Mr McMahon, we hardly knew ya!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Series 2 Episode 28 - ECW Hardcore Heaven 1999In 99 it is fair to say WWF had a stranglehold back on wrestling. It had fought away its nearest rival in WCW and was dominating the wrestling landscape. However, as ever, there was the third promotion, the cult rival to the big boys, who were chugging along and desperately trying to find its way with limited resources. By Mid 1999 gone were Raven and Sandman, both now in rival WCW, however there was a shock arrival in the land of extreme, the ruler of the world...SID! Better Call Creative love Sid so we are heading to ECW Hardcore Heaven 1999 to review his only ppv match and fantasy book what the land of extreme could have been if Sid had stayed around!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Series 2 - Episode 27 - The Death of the AWAIn the early 80s, the AWA was the place to be. A talented roster that featured the future hall of famers of wrestling like Hogan, Hennig, Heenan and Bockwinkle, the promotion wasn't prepared for the aggressive expansion of Vince McMahon and the WWF. By the end of the decade, anyone with any star power had been snapped up by McMahon and taken to all new heights, and the AWA were left on the verge of bankruptcy and with a thin roster loyal to the Gagne's or of castaways unwanted by the WWF. In desperate efforts to fight their demise, the AWA tried a few different things, a new Team Challenge Series in front of green screen fans, as well as a show solely to put over Kellogg's in their fight with the General Mills! A bad corperate away to say the least but we can not let the AWA die without enjoying their demise and reviewing some of the strangest wrestling shows you are ever likely to see! Season 2 Episode 28 - JCW BloodymaniaWrestling is a spectrum, and a huge one at that. A million matches, thousands of wrestlers, and hundreds of wrestling companies, you simply never could complete it. However anyone who has watched Bloodymania from JCW in 2007 may very well be able to claim that they have found an watched wrestling's worst match! How ironic then that the match features two WWE Hall of Famers! JCW the ICP led and Juggalo backed promotion was making waves in the indies in mid 2000s and were using there contacts and muscle to book names like Ultimo Dragon, Ron Killings, Scott Hall and Jake Roberts! This show however will go down in wrestling lore and we are going to review it! SEASON 2 - EPISODE 27 - Bastion BoogerSome gimmicks are destined to succeed, think The Wyatt Family, The NWO, The Ultimate Warrior...others...not so much! Mike Shaw found this out time and time and time...and time again throughout his some 3 decade career. Beginning in Canada, travelling to Mexico, and having ppv matches for both WCW and WWF, it is fair to say that Mike Shaw mad the most of his wrestling career. Not the most agile of big men, but a big man nonetheless, he would go through some of the most bizarre gimmicks in wrestling, and become famous for one in particular. From Mahkan Singh, to Norm the Lunatic, Friar Ferguson, and final...Bastion Booger! We are here to review and look back fondly at them all as we celebrate Mike Shaw and his amazing contribution to Wrestling! Wrestlemania XI - When you have a legacy now at 40, you would be hard pushed to hit a home run every year. For every Wrestlemania 17 there is a Wrestlemania 9, for every Wrestlemania 20 there is a Wrestlemania 32....but one without comparasion may just be Wrestlemania XI. A Wrestlemania where it very much felt that wrestling got in the way, a Wrestlemania headlined by Football versus Wrestling, on a wrestling show, where wrestling.....lost!That though is just part of the story, as top stars Bret Hart and The Undertaker have arguably their worst Mania matches ever. This is a Wrestlemania that stands out for all the wrong reasons, and we are here for it! It's Wrestlemania XI and somebody had very much better call creative!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWENTY FIVE - Rock n Wrestling's ConnectionAnyone who has studied the history of wrestling will point to a moment in the early 80s where wrestling was transformed by it's connection with Rock n Roll Music! The MTV era hlpd launch wrestling into th show we all now know and love. Wrestling and Music has always had a great union, wrestling with music would just simply not be the same, and so we are here to celebrate that connection. SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWENTY FOUR- Fastlane 2017March now is the road to wrestlemania and in 2017 the WWE presented Fastlane, a pay per view one month ahead of Wrestlemania. A raw exclusive ppv this show would be headlined by Kevin Owens, the universal champion, fresh off turning on his Best Friend Chris Jericho, the Owens Show was the hottest heel, and on a sure fire fastlane to Wrestlemania. However on the road to wrestlemania was a huge bump in the road named....GOLDBERG! The return of Goldberg at Survivor Series had been a huge success, so could he follow that up by taking the title from Kevin Owens! Who booked this!! SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWENTY THREE - XPW Baptised in Blood IIIHere on Better Call Creative, we always celebrate birthday's differently. This year the power is going to be shared around. Jack celebrates his birthday in our first birthday episode, and with the power, he chooses a company we have yet to visit...XPW. Rob Black, Supreme, Death Match, this company has lived, died and been reborn in infamy. We are heading back to peak XPW in 2002 and Baptised in Blood III. The return of Shane Douglas who demonstrates the greatest shot ever and a barb wired sex toy! Its Deathmatch folk, and so we honour Jack's Birthday with celebrating....or maybe not, the legacy of this bizarre world, and this crazy show! Do they have creative? SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWENTY TWO - Elimination Chamber 2015A new concept in wrestling is difficult to come up with. In 2002 on the back of the attitude era and the death of any real competition, the WWE created the Elimination Chamber. Four chambers, six competitors and a whole new way of deciding titles, contenders and feuds. Like any concept be it the Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Ladder Matches and the like, there will always be ups and downs. By 2015 the Chamber had its own ppv, but strangely this ppv had been moved to May, and with no real need for elimination chamber matches that year, the decision was made to throw in the IC and Tag Team Titles. A chamber event with the Los Matadores, Ryback, Prime Time Players all popping out the pods was always going to be a hard sell, but man oh man, we haven't scratched the surfce of this awful event! SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWENTY ONE - Uncensored 1995Oh 1995 what a terrible year you were! Well at least in wrestling terms it was, WWF was struggling to find a new direction with a New Champion in Diesel, but over in WCW despite having hold of the two biggest names in Wrestling, they were putting out pay per views like Uncensored! A show that featured a wrestling match on the back of a truck, a boxer versus wrestler contest, the most bizarre martial arts style match, and a main event strap match which features Ric Flair in drag....it's fair to say we may have found the worst of wrestling's past! So join us as we try and digest this crazy show, and reimagine what the show could have been!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWENTY- Wrestling WeddingsLove is in the air this valentines day as Better Call Creative celebrate the truest way one can express their love in the world of wrestling, a wrestling wedding! Since the early 80s it seems that wrestling and weddings have gone together like a horse and carriage as the old song says! From Butcher Vachon and the wild antics of Captain Lou Albano, to Rusev jumping out of a giant wedding cake. As many Wedding Crashers as I Do's, its fair to say a wrestling wedding is never dull, so take your seat as part of our wedding party, and lets all raise a toast to the happy couple of Wrestling and Weddings!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE NINETEEN - WCW SinGoing into 2001, WCW was on life support. On the back of a terrible year creatively, and financially, with a series of bookers coming and going, it's fair to say optimism wasn't high. A rebrand of the ppv schedule was designed, around the seven deadly sins. The launch for this concept was the ppv named Sin, and it would feature a fatal four way main event with Scott Steiner defending his title against stable mate Jeff Jarratt, Sid Vicious and WCW's president choice....well that was the mystery hook! The main event, will live in wrestling history, for a terrible terrible injury....however, we aren't here for that, we are here for the mystery! Creatively this show is awful, but you'll have to listen to find out why! You'd Better Call Creative i guess!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE EIGHTEEN - Royal Rumble 1999Timing in life is everything isn't it. Given the terrible revelations and at the time of publishing, allegations about Vince McMahon, it is somewhat poorly timed that we would release a podcast looking back at his Royal Rumble win. However, creatively this show is a show that has performed poorly against the now lengthy Royal Rumble history. A Royal Rumble built around the biggest storyline in wrestling possibly ever in Austin v McMahon, and the collatoral damage seemingly was the rest of the roster. The Attitude Era was built around big brash characters, but some characters shine brighter than others, and on this show, only two stars shone brightly. Oh and we haven't got to Mankind taking seven unprotected chair shots to the head. This, unfortunately is not a Rumble to Remember.

SEASON 2 - EPISODE SEVENTEEN - Giants in WrestlingIn the immortal words of the Hall of Fame opener, it started with one! Well kind of anyway. For many when you say Giant and Wrestling, Andre will be the first name from their lips. So imposing was his legacy that it can be easy to forget those who came before and after him. However the legacy he carved has meant that the world of wrestling has been littered with Giants. No podcast could review them all, and plenty small time 6 foot plus Giants have had to be cut away until those who tower above even the greats like Kane and Undertaker remain. We will be country hopping, bouncing around the era's to celebrate the Giants of Wrestling, no matter there in ring ability. Raja Lion and all. You'd Better Call Creative right!

BONUS EPISODE - TNA Impact No.1A podcast favourite is our trips to TNA Impact and so we have been excited at the imminent return of the TNA wrestling brand! We celebrate the TNA brands wonderful past, buy looking back at it's first ever TNA Impact back in 2004! A show that highlights everything that makes TNA so wonderful, Don West, Shark Boy, AJ Styles, Popeye! It's weird its wonderful and it's back! Cross the line and listen to Better Call Creative now!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE SIXTEEN - Starrcade 1998We round out the year in wrestling tradition as we look back on Starrcade from 1998. One of the biggest years in WCW history, and whilst the 83 weeks dominance of WWF has now gone, WCW continue to look strong with the rise of the undefeated WCW Champion Goldberg going into 1999! All he must do is survive the challenge of Kevin Nash....so what could possibly go wrong! Then there is the return of the Nature Boy Ric Flair! Gone for almost a year, Slick Ric is back and ready to give the WCW fans what they want in kicking the butt of Eric Bischoff....what could possibly go wrong? Oh and then there is Jerry Flynn teaming with Fit Finlay to face NWO B Team members Brian Adams and Scott Norton...ok well we know whats wrong with that! A card that lacked a lot of depth but nonetheless had star power, so why was it so bad? Well, you had Better Call Creative and find out!!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE SIXTEEN - Crown Jewel 2018It's Christmas time and we wanteed to keep everything on gimmick, and celebrate all things christmas....but that Saudi Blood Money was just all too much to turn down so we are going back to 2018 and the return match for Shawn Michaels! DX versus the Brothers of Destruction and a World Cup! Well.....it's not quite as great as it sounds on paper...or maybe it is! Yes its the match where Triple H tears his pectorial muscle, and where Kane's mask just falls off! Who cares though because nobody in the crowd seem to! The one thing you should care about is that Shane McMahon wins the Best in the World cup without being in the tournament! It's no Silent Night here in Saudi Arabia but join Better Call Creative this festive time to celebrate all the Saudi nonsense! Happy Christmas everyone!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE FIFTEEN- AEW All Out 20202020 was hardly a stealler year for any industry, but with the recovery from covid in its early stages, the wrestling industry had been hit pretty hard. A commitment to delver a product for an audiance unable to watch it live meant stilted stage hands at ringsides, with little to no atmosphere being created. AEW was starting to flesh out its roster, picking up some of WWE's biggest talent in FTR, Brody Lee and Miro but was struggling to continue it's early momentum. All Out 2020 stands out as the companies first big miss of a ppv. And we are here for that kind of mishap! A tooth and nail cinematic match which failed to demonstrate the same feeling as the Boneyard Match that had been such a success, and Matt Hardy being knocked out in the first few minutes of his match with the company choosing to allow him to continue... all rounded out by the very marmite Mimosa Mayhem match between Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho! Join Better Call Creative as we relive the event and reimagine what it could have been. Playing out our episode is the amazing Valium Gorilla's a local band to us in the Midlands (UK), with their track All Roads Lead To! Check them out now!Oh and you'd Better Call Creative!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE FOURTEEN- Survivor Series 1994It's the Annual Thanks Giving Tradition! It's the Survivor Series! Yes this maybe the least important of the so called big ppvs, but it still has played host to many memorable moments. The Screwjob, the Undertaker's Debut, Stings WWE Debut....and Dink, Wink and Pink! 1994 was a very strange year for the wwf, coming of a successful steriod trial, Vince McMahon was left with little confidence in his top babyface, and despite having some talented young stars, the tried and tested were given the rub here. Five matches and 3 of them won by 40+ stars, one ending the title reign of the Hitman! It's fair to say somebody had Better Call Creative about this one!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE THIRTEEN- TNA Destination X 2007Oh how we've missed TNA. It was great news to hear that Impact Wrestling will return to the once loved brand of TNA Wrestling in early 2024. We will be back to celebrate TNA's legacy around that time but before we do, we are checking out one of the reasons why the brand needed a break. In 2007 TNA was expanding it's roster and it's global appeal. Kurt Angle was the poster boy whilst the likes of Christian, AJ Styles, Sting and Samoa Joe padded out a strong roster of talent. However in true TNA style, despite having plenty of positive tools in their armour, management had decided to try to recreate a buzz from a decade past. Vince Russo, a fairly devisive booker was in charge of most of the creative at the time, and Destination X was well and truly out of his copy book. A Double Bull Rope Match, an Elevation X match, a Last Rites Match and a Ghetto Brawl all happening on a card so overbooked that the cries of Fire Russo would echo around the arena. Was it that bad though? And can we unpick the damage done by Mr Russo? Well you had Better Call Creative and find out!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE TWELVE- ECW November to Remember 1996We take a well earned vacation in the land of extreme and head back to Autumn 1996, and a November to Remember! ECW were riding high, with a tv deal being ut together and a long awaited debut on ppv a few months away, this card was set to build the main event for that show, Taz versus Sabu! What a build, and what a moment on this card as the lights went out just as they were about to hook up....and another hour of wrestling took place after! ECW got so many things right but there is no doubting they got plenty wrong and this card can be summed up in that manner, the rights and the wrongs! The BWO were taking over as Scorpio was gone in a Flash, and Brian Lee was main eventing a major show in 1996! Main Event Brian Lee? Somebody had better call creative!!!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE ELEVEN- Halloween Havoc 1991We have reached the end of our Horror Month here on Better Call Creative and we land on All Hallows Eve, Halloween night and we are reviewing Halloween Havoc 1991. Remembered for the Chamber of Horrors match, an 8 man tag taking place inside a cage structure where the match ends when somebody is legitimately put into the electric chair. All that screams Halloween and Horror, but what we got was a Horrorshow for all the wrong reasons, and of course, that is what we are here for! When we discuss the worst of wrestling, Halloween Havoc 1991 lives up to that moniker but not just for the Chamber of Horrors match! How about The Creatures? Van hammer? The Halloween Phantom? This show just keeps upping the ante when it comes to the worst of Wrestling, and we love it for it! Somebody had better call creative about this one!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE TEN- Send in the ClownsHorror and Clowns go together like.....well Wrestling and Clowns! It seems that clowns have been in and around the wrestling world for many decades and whilst many fans will know the name Doink the Clown, many may not have as wide a knowledge of Dave the Clown, or Fukigen Death, or Pogo the Clown. In our third Halloween episode of the month we celebrate and review the clowns of wrestling, a tour that covers most of the world, and different decades right up to modern day AEW and NWA! Isn't it sweet! Aren't you amused! Send in the clowns...and you'd Better Call Creative!

SEASON TWO - EPISODE NINE - IWA King of the Deathmatch 1995Can you consider one of the biggest tape trading wrestling events ever, considered my some to be the finest "Hardcore Wrestling" card, and featuring Mick Foley and Terry Funk, something worthy of being reviewed by Better Call Creative? Can you truly say that this show was a bad show? Well, don't ask us, ask Terry Funk and Cactus Jack who both have trashed their finals match! This card is a mix mash of the bizarre and down right weird. The Headhunters share the bill with Silver King, Hall of Famers, with Horror Movie legend Leatherface. Dan the BEAST SEVERN! This may very well have been a tape traders dream but it certainly isn't a Wrestling Dream! In our long awaited love letter to Terry Funk who recently passed, join us as we review and reimagine this Hardcore Nightmare!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE EIGHT - Blood Runs Cold - GlacierOn the back of our Invasion Arc we head into the month of October and a month full of the horrors of wrestling's past. We start with a podcast well overdue for one that focuses on the worst of wresting, as we check out Glacier and the Blood Runs Cold storyline! The brain child of Eric Bischoff at a time when the NWO was running roughshot over WCW, and Hollywood Hogan had been crowned the champion, Sting had headed to the rafters and WWF was on its knees, the concept and debut of Glaicer took place. A lawsuit ith Mortal Kombat's producers Midway, an over elaborate and expensive entrance and attire, and a slow plodding wrestler meant this Glacier melted away quite quickly but was it worth the wait? Well there is only one way to find out! You had better call creative!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE SEVEN- Survivor Series 2001In the immortal words of Jim Johnston, The End is Here! We have reached the final stop in the Alliance Storyline, and it's winner takes all, the WCW and ECW Alliance's five best feautring well a lot of WWF's best, going up against the WWF's best...and Big Show! Survival is on the line, only one entity will be around on Monday Nights but which will it be, and who will win immunity from being fired? Only one way to find out as always, you had Better Call Creative!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE SIX- Rebellion 2001We are in the last legs of the Alliance angle now but before we can reach the peak and stick a flag in it, we take a quick detour to jolly old England! Manchester to be precise, as the WWF and the Alliance invade the UK for it's annual Rebellion ppv. Normally considered a C show, lower priority, this show would actually see the very first rematch of Rock v Austin and the second last ever Rock vs Austin ppv match ever! So was it a roaring success that perfectly sets up the Winner Takes All Survivor Series ppv? Oh...and Kurt Angle is now a heel and in the Alliance...what! Somebody had Better Call Creative!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE FIVE- No Mercy 2001We are on leg four of our Invasion Story Arc as we start of the 2nd half of the storyline picking up where we left Unforgiven 2001, with Kurt Angle as WWF Champion...well no quite! The twists and the turns of the Alliance angle is in full gear here as the landscape of the WWF changes dramatically it seems week by week, with two world titles playing out in the main storylines, and the emergence of Mr Monday Night's Rob Van Dam as a credible title contender just three months into his full debut with the company! The Alliance angle has been very slow to catch fire but can Van Dam by the spark that finally ignites thi storyline? You had Better Call Creative and find out!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE FOUR - Unforgiven 2001We reach the half way point in our Invasion Story Arc and as ever plenty has changed. However it's not just in the WWF where the landscape is changing, the Twin Towers attacks of September 11th takes place a few weeks before Kurt Angle's Summerslam rematch with Stone Cold Steve Austin, so will our olympic and American Hero finally strike back for the WWF and take back it's biggest prize? Oh and this event is where Kronik make their one ppv match as a tag team! A match so bad it will go down in wrestling history! Edge and Christian explode and Perry Saturn gets revenge on Raven for killing...his mop! Mops, Kronik and Terrorism....somebody had better call creative!

BIRTHDAY PODCAST - Ben's Time MachineWe round out our year of birthday podcasts with one final hop into the wrestling time machine as Ben has the controls. His 6 desitinations will be a wrestling match from the month of August from the last six decades. A time machine which will make stops to check out the Dynamite Kid, Walter, Bret Hart and Kurt Angle, as well as a first for the podcast, a Hair versus Hair women's match from Japan! One more time join the lads and where we're going we don't need roads, but you can be sure that they'll have creative! Somebody had better call creative!

Season 2 - Episode Three- Summerslam 2001We continue our 6 episode story arc as we look back at the WCW and ECW invasion of the WWF from 2001, and we have reached Summerslam! After the shocking events of the Invasion pay per view with Stone Cold Steve Austin turning his back on the WWF, it seems that the WWF may be crumbling around them. They have however got an olympic hero in their camp and the return of the Great One the Rock who will headline this event with Booker T! So we continue to review the storyline whilst ending the episode by continuing our version of what the Invasion could have been!

SEASON TWO - Episode Two - Invasion 2001We begin the first story arc of Season Two of Better Call Creative, and it is a huge story arc! We are reviewing the WWF vs. The Alliance, WWF vs WCW and ECW. It was the stuff of dreams, what would happen when Austin faced Hogan, Undertaker faced Sting, Rock faced Goldberg....What we got however was something very very different! And it all started with an Invasion! WCW and ECW created an alliance(or coalition as it's called here) to take down the might of the WWF! A WWF boosted by the return of the Old Stone Cold! We end each episode in this arc by reimagining the story line as each of us would have had it(with a few minor allowances for picking up the time warner contracts). WWF v WCW, how could this one go so horribly wrong....Better Call Creative and find out!

SEASON 2 - EPISODE ONE - King of the Ring 1994We start a brand new season of episodes with Season 2 Episode One and well, how much does this show weigh? It is the infamous pay per view of King of the Ring 1994. Remembered mainly for the so bad it may be good commentary of Art Donovan, but is the ppv a dud because of it, inspite of it or as well as it? We will find out as we see the WWF launch it's New Generation Era officially with it's oldest ppv main event ever to this point, as well as the coronation of the King of Hearts and the arrival of Diesel in the WWF Title scene! Is this one of the podcasts? Yes Art it is! Somebody get Creative on the line...right away!
