This was not a big win or traumatic or anything like that, but it still caused discomfort.  In this podcast, I would like to address "white noise" and how we are to respond to this communication barrier. Where are we putting our energy? You see our energy flows where our focus goes. And I want you to think about this cause this is another one of the great cornerstone setups of what is happening in the thought process. So I was just telling you that what I do is that  I look at what other people look at as obstacles or challenges or problems. I choose to switch my focus. This is an interesting opportunity to grow. How can I best grow? How can I best serve in whatever that opportunity is? So what I want you to understand is that this takes effort in our thought process.

So here's the next question. What's ahead around the next curve? Anticipation. I think that was Carly Simon back in the 60's. That's a great song.... Anticipation. I guess the best way for me to answer this, what's ahead around that next curve is to pay attention to where you are. On the road of life right now, and if you look ahead in this case, an hour or two hours or three hours, and you see it's a straight line then why worry about the curve? Just like driving an automobile, there are normal signs. Curve ahead or slow down, 90-degree curve or slow down. There's a lot of zigzagging the road, just me, Anders left and in and out and so on and so forth. So we have the signs on the actual highways that we drive our vehicles on.....   Let's not run from opportunities to grow. Let's not point our fingers immediately that it's someone else's fault, someone else has caused this. Let's look at ourselves first. Let's dig deep into the mind of our soul, and I encourage you. Choose to feed your soul with some great food every day, just like you feed your tummy.

Feed your soul. That's the best advice I can give you.  F I tell everybody that I am of the Christian faith and I hope and pray that you have strong faith - that you have to feed our souls. And the more we provide our soul, the better that we are for ourselves, the better we are for all of mankind. And so I think the answer to that first question what's gonna happen to me is:  How much are you feeding your soul? So the more that we do that, the easier that question becomes the easier it is to answer that question is what I'm trying to communicate with you. And that's going to fall right in line with the other aspects of this question....the what.

Hello, my friend. And welcome back to the Monetize Your Voice Podcast with James 'Fantastik' Hepler thought we're gonna call this part two of your what? And part one, we looked at, what am I doing. What should I be doing? What can I be doing?  what is the correct way to do it, to do what I am doing, and to do a real quick summary of that? It's just a matter that you'll get, the answers to those four questions by doing one thing. And that is to do everything with positive thoughts, positive. I gave you several examples about that and we'll now delve into some more of those, what questions or what questions as in what are you doing and what's going on and why is that? What a, what and all that kind of good stuff. And what is your light bulb? So before I get in there  I wanna remind you that if you go to mrfantastik.love, you will see a nice little popup thing there that allows you to apply for a free 15 minutes. Get together with yours. Truly we will address what you feel is your largest roadblock, a stumbling block.    Speed. To become a confident communicator just do it with confidence, clarity, and comfort control. Yeah. Just having a great time, communicating your thoughts, your ideals, and so forth. So that's mrfantstik.live   And now back to the "What's". So the next question.  what's wrong with the way I'm doing it or what's wrong with doing it my way? I think the simple answer to that is what are your results of doing it your way?  There are many people out there. Their attitude is  Hey, it's my way. Or the highway, huh? Yeah. Oh, that's we all know him my way of the highway here in. Pennsylvania Dutch country. We call 'em bull C bull coffer.  That means Bullhead. That means blockhead, stubborn determined not to learn any other way of doing it. So the answer is how are things working out, doing it your way now? It may be working out. Fantastic. Hey, let's not try to fix something that isn't broken G on. Rolling. Just be truthful with yourself and ask yourself, am I getting the results I want? You can tell by the reaction of everyone around you. As to whether other people have committed to doing whatever the project is, the way you want to do it. That's the thing. Always, just always be looking and asking yourself that question. Hey, and you can also really even if doing it your way is working. You may want to consider the rest of the folks that are involved in whatever the project is or the business or the family event. For some input to possibly doing it better. Now, they're wrong with that. It also shows that you are a very mature human being.  I'll give you a perfect example. We just had our 52nd family reunion very recently. And  I had my dear friend and good buddy with me, Kathleen. And we do this thing called the crazy bingo. And so we're playing this thing and it's a lot of fun and so forth.  And she suggested a similar game, played a different way, which could be easier and more fun. I said, Hey, I think we're gonna consider that for number 53. So you see if we are open-minded we can always learn. We can always be better. Okay. Now the next question under the Watts is not an easy one to address.  What's the matter with me?     Is it me? , am I all right? And everybody else is all wrong or am I the one that's all wrong? And everybody else is all right.    So again, what are we doing? Whatever the action is with positivity we want the very best for whoever we're serving, as well as wanting the very best for ourselves. Okay. I think when we do that  I doubt that we will ask ourselves this question very often. What's the matter with me? Now, there are times when we do that you walk away just scratching your head because you tried to communicate what, whatever the subject or situation was. And you the other person didn't get it. Okay. And that's what TACC is all about  The Art of Confident Communicatione. We ask questions when we're looking, you can see the look on the person's face and that you have not connected with that person. So then we have to ask questions, which is all part also of tall, the art of laser listening. And of course the fantastic, confident communication formula or the FCC formula. And these are all things that you learn at mrfantatik.live or jamesfantatik.com. One leads to the other and all that other kinda gobbly go. And speaking of which if you would like, we will be more than happy. To send you five easy steps to up-leveling. You are communication skills. That's at mrfantatik.live And also there you can apply for a free 15-minute breakdown investigation, uncovering what is your biggest roadblock to being a confident community. That's all mrfantatik.live. So let's get back to this the what deal here and that tough question. What's the matter? What's the matter with me?  We can find that out real quick just by asking numerous different questions. And when we see that we aren't getting our message through. Part of what you may want to consider.   I do this on a  very regular basis when I'm mentoring, particularly youngsters that help me out with my lawn and garden work.   The first time that I meet the youngster, I just lay at the whole nine yards out and I tell them there's this thing in the world that there is no such thing as a dumb question. And here@ jamesfantastic.com. We say there is one dumb question, one dumb question. The one that we don't ask. So in doing that, I'm explaining to these teenagers, the project that we're doing. I tell them when I ask you, do you understand if you're nodding your head affirmatively, I need your brain to be going in the same direction. I don't need your head going affirmatively and your brain going left to right in a non-affirmative manner. If it doesn't work for any of us, then we have to redo it. And what it does, it just creates a lot of frustration. So the next one is what's making the challenge so difficult. What's making the challenge so difficult?   The challenge is  I don't think my teenage son or teenage daughter is getting what I'm trying to get through. In that particular case, it could be a thing called hormones, which is causing a lot of havoc. And we have to. Around that and recognize a good friend of mine that has a set of twins a girl and a boy set. And they just turned 13 and the hormones are now. Boom boom.  That's one of the things, again, we have to look at outside. Sometimes there are outside sources that make the challenge difficult and there is a great saying, and I think I can get this relatively quickly for you. I want to read this because. I do not want to misstate it.  It's from the booked day by day with James Allen. And this has been by my side for the last eight years. So I  know what's going on. So to answer this question in another way we go, we'll answer it with a statement. What's making this challenge so difficult, no situation can be difficult in itself. It is the lack of insight into its intricacies and the want of wisdom in dealing with it, which give rise to the difficulty. Immeasurable, therefore is the gain of a difficulty transcended. So this four-sentence paragraph has blessed me exponentially over the years in trying to solve these different  I call 'em opportunities to grow. I don't call 'em obstacles. I call 'em opportunities to grow. As this question says, what's making the challenge so difficult? I don't refer to 'em as challenges or obstacles I call 'em opportunities to grow so I'm gonna read that to you. One more. Because it is, I think it is a cornerstone to answering the question. No situation can be difficult in itself. It is the lack of insight into its intricacies and the want of wisdom in dealing with it, which give rise to the difficulty immeasurable. Therefore the gain from a difficulty transcends. And that is from the book as a man thinketh written by James Allen. Oh my gosh.  About 120 years ago, an amazing and amazing little book.  I can't give you a high enough recommendation to pick it up and read it and reread it and so forth. So I hope that helps. The next question is what's my first best step? What's my first best step at solving that challenging? What's the word I want to use there? That's a good question situation. What's the best way of dealing with an unkind neighbor, a sibling spouse, et cetera, et cetera?  Let's go back to that previous one. Four-sentence paragraph. I read you. And I think the insight of that is, that it lets us gain insight into what we are trying to do, and that will help us determine and develop what my first best step could be. And I think that's part of the opportunity to grow in all aspects of life. At least that's the way I look at it. Anyhow, I think that we need to keep our eye on the ball as they say in most sports and I'm, I've been hacking around golf most of my life and the big thing there is always say, keep your head down, keep your head down and keep it still. And every time.  Let's just say the vast majority of times I keep my head down and keep it still. I hit the ball quite well and normally in the direction I want it to go. So what's my first best step? Let's do some investigating. What are the intricacies of this opportunity to grow? If that makes sense. Okay. So there we go. There are some more Watts. Now we're gonna do another session, cuz we may even do part three and part four, cuz that I've got a lot of these things up what if this happens and what if that happens and so forth. And I think we should all challenge that and delve in and get, find out the intricacies of whatever our opportunity to grow happens to be. We'd like to allow you to grow here in the Monetize Your Voice Podcast, go to mrfantatik.live, and. Hello, my friend. And welcome back to the monetize, your voice podcast with your old buddy James 'Fantastik' Hepler. So good to have you here. Got a great subject today in our aspect of looking at and understanding. How do we best go about monetizing our voice? What is behind all of that? And it's very complicated in some aspects, there are so many intertwining parts of learning, the art of confident communication - the art of communicating confidently to communicate with clarity comfort, and control. That's what we do. That's what we address in the La Mans. To your vivacious voice victory in our course, the art of confident communications. And before we get into the what as in, what am I doing and what should I be doing? What can I be doing? Am I doing anything before we get into that for the day's session, I'd just to remind you that you can log on to Mr. fantastic. live. And we'll send you five free tips for up-leveling your communication skills. And at Mr. Fantastic live, there is another drop-down or button in the digital world. That they will give you the capability of making an application for a free 15-minute session with Mr. Fantastic to address what you feel is your number one roadblock or your number one stumbling block, or your number one speed bump or pothole. To become a confident communicator, have the confidence and the clarity to communicate with your spouse or partner, to communicate with your children, your siblings, your fellow employees, and with your supervisor on and on. Mr. Fantastic. Live, check it out today. So what am I doing? Have you ever asked yourself that question? I've asked myself that question.       Several. Hundreds or thousands of times doing my journey, this journey called life. It's not only 1:00 AM I doing, but it also, why am I doing what I'm doing? And most people don't like that question because it takes that sincerity. To dig deep into the mind of our soul. So when you are there if you are there right now asking yourself the question yourself, the question, what am I doing?  You are at the front end of the pack. As many people will run very fast and on a very regular basis away from asking them. Solve the question, what am I doing now? This is gonna be broken down into many different subcategories. You can ask yourself that question. What am I doing in my profession at the office? Am I doing what I want to do? Or is this?  A bridge, a temporary stop up.  Society has changed, particularly in the last four or five years.    We had Mr. 19. Come on the scene and that just turned a lot of the world upside down. So we are looking at it through different lenses. So maybe what you're doing right now, isn't your final destination, but here's the number one point to the question of what am I doing? The subcategory? Am I doing it to the best of my capability at this moment? Whatever your current, what is whether that happens to be a full-time homemaker, whether it happens to be a full-time grandmother or grandfather, if we could put any title, what am I doing? So the question is, am I doing my current? What. The best possible way and capabilities of what I have in my arsenal of knowledge, this is all about what is our arsenal of knowledge, and we need to continue to better that arsenal. So what am I doing? H how well am I doing this? What if. A father, a husband, a friend, a brother, a cousin. How well am I doing that particular? What? That's the first assessment self-assessment that we should do. How well am I doing it? Then the next question. Really could be, should I be doing that for the amount of negativity in our society is just it's overwhelming. From my perspective, it comes back again to tall, T an L the art of laser listening.  Whatever you're doing, are you doing it from a positive perspective? Are you doing it with positive energy? Because if you are, whatever you're doing is going to be very wonderful for society. And that will also ask if you're doing it with positive answer energy, your answer of what should I be doing will be answered for you right away. Then what can I be doing again? You'll get the answer. If we do this with positive energy, what can I be doing? I just was talking with our general manager of,  I'll just call it the digital Mac area of James fantastic.com and Mr. fantastic. live and we're constantly well, how can we do this better? How can we communicate better within our own company? And what tips do we have for everyone else? It is the greatest challenge in the universe, comforted communications, and the better we get at that skill. Wow. The more fantastic. Our entire lives become miscommunications is a  mega-billion dollar challenge in all aspects of life. So let's look at it through the lens of positive energy. What can I be doing?  Let's see positively. I can. Make a friendly phone call, which I happened to do within the last hour of this recording. We have this wonderful postmaster who baked me a shoe fly pie, which is a Pennsylvania, Dutch dish.  You can Google shoe fly by and the postmaster. Has almost the identical recipe as my mother's and I am just Ugh, to the moon and back. So when I had a piece this morning, I immediately picked up the phone and I called my dear friend red, and I just told him. What her act of kindness the day before was doing for me 24 hours later. So that under the heading of what can I be doing?   When those things happen, we can either phone drop everything, make a quick phone call, or even better. I could have just sent her a quick text message or an. But in this particular case, because of other extending circumstances, I knew that a phone call was the best and I could just, I could feel her melting. The loving, hearing my gratitude, positive energy, a positive focus on any subject, and you will get the answers to what am I doing? And you'll find out if you're doing it positively, that you're doing what you should be doing. Okay, which was the second one? What should I be doing? Third one. What can I be doing? They all get answered. If we focus on whatever the, what is with positive energy, we speaking of positive energy. If you would like to go to Mr. fantastic. live, we have a page, I'm trying to learn all these technical terms so I can do a better job of communicating that to you. But once you go to Mr. fantastic. live it, the steps are sensationally simple. We have this kiss formula, keep it sensationally simple. And we try to do that. Go there. We'll give you five free steps to up-leveling your communication skills. We also have an opportunity for you to apply for a free 15-minute session with Mr. Fantastic to address what you feel is your biggest roadblock or stumbling block. Pothole to overcome to become a very confident communicator. So check it out. Mr. fantastic.com. So we are addressing the what of our life. So we addressed, what am I doing? What should I be doing? What can I be doing? And we said, Hey if we are approaching all those questions with positive answers, not positive answers with positive energy, the answer will come BA boom. And if we aren't doing. With a great depth of desire to serve, then we'll get the answer that what we're doing is not correct. Just that simple. It's just like red with the shoe fly pie. Then the timing that was orchestrated of when I went to the post office and when. She gave me the pie. It was all orchestrated by a higher power here jamesfantstik.com and mrfantastik.live. We have a simple word for it. We like to keep things simple. And that is divinity. That's what we call it here at James. Fantastic. Dot com. the reason I had the awe there. I was trying to multitask. And normally when I tried to multitask something goofy happens. So I don't do it too often, but this time it was important. So that's where we are my friend positive energy, doing it with a great desire. Serve. And I'm gonna give you another great example that happened to me very recently in regards to what am I doing. What should I be doing? What can I be doing? What is the correct way to do it? When we do it from our heart in a positive output, everything falls in line through Divi.  so recently I needed to call customer service. I got a letter that the mailing address might be incorrect. So I followed the instructions. Imagine those following instructions.  That kind of works out pretty well most of the time. So I got this amazing young man on the other end and he knew what he was doing and was. Excellent. The excellent customer service rep and this went     Bing. And it was all completed.  So then we got into a very nice conversation because I complimented him on the depth of his desire to serve. And I asked him, I said, does your company have one of these follow-up telephone surveys that I can rate you? He said, yeah. I said,  hit whatever button you have to hit. And I'll do that. Cuz I want your superiors to know how excellent of a job you are. That's another way that we can continually give back in a positive manner and it will bless you. Trust me, you will be blessed many times when we choose us all. We all are blessed to a degree when we look at doing everything in life with positive energy. So please consider doing that when you're trying to figure out what am I doing. What should I be doing? What can I be doing? What is the correct way to do it? All those answers are gonna come to you. The Art of Confident Communication: Freedom of Speech Episode 20

Hello, my friend, and welcome to the monetize your voice podcast. It is so good to have you right by my side, James 'Fantastic' Hepler here.  Today we're gonna talk about freedom of speech.  I'm in the United States I've been having was. I'm an American citizen. I was born right here. I can sit here in my backyard and look about 200 yards from here into the bedroom window that I was born in.  As of this recording, almost three-quarters of a century, I go. And so one of the founding. Principles here in the United States is a thing called freedom of speech. And from my perspective, I think some quarters of our society are trying to either limit that or squelch you. And    I'm speaking out and I'm doing it in  I'm attempting to do it in a kind caring manner. So I'm going to talk about this in a specific incident that happened to me recently on what is a very hot topic here in America. And I  think it might be a fairly hot topic in most free societies around the globe. But before I get to that, the freedom of speech and this particular incident, I wanna fill in that. If you go to James fantastic.com, there'll be a little popup window that comes up and you can apply for a 15-minute. Get together. With this young dude, and we will address what you feel is your number one roadblock, to being a confident communicator, to just enjoying communicating, listening, and all those other kinds of things    is a, it's a very complex Art. That's why we call it the art of communicating confidently. And so if you like to do that, does whip over there to James fantastic.com and all this other stuff will happen. And it's pretty easy. It's pretty easy. So freedom of speech here in America, we have had a debate that's been going on. For better than two years in regards to COVID and regards to mask wearing and how good masks are, unless they are a certain type of quality mask. And I think the labeling is a K-nine mask. Okay. The letter K H for the number.  Somewhere in that neighborhood, I've got some friends that are in the medical business, and basically, it has been pretty well documented that most other types of cloth masks and handkerchiefs and all that other kind of stuff are pretty, pretty much useless. Okay. So anyhow. I happen to also have a hearing deficiency. And so  I was at a doctor's office very recently. And of course, here in, America, they are still required to wear a mask. And yes, that. Was a tone of my disagreement in doctor's offices. We can go everywhere else.  And I don't have a problem with anyone who wants to choose to wear a mask. That's what freedom is about, but don't tell me, or dictate to me that I gotta wear a mask particularly. Those that there's pretty much scientific aspect behind it, that they are worthless play is simply worthless. So anyhow, I'm in doing the registration part of things. And of course, the lady on the other side has a mask on. And I said   I'm having a problem understanding you. And I just commented that  I don't think that these masks serve too much purpose.  I may even have said, I think they're useless.  The lady next door to her who had nothing to do with the conversation, it jumps up and starts kinda overhauling me. Look da. And we lost two people in our staff to COVID and this, that, and the other thing. And  I'm relatively certain that first of all, this person was not of American heritage. I think she came to this country. Quite recently, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Not a problem because that's what America is about. There's the melting pot. However I said to her, look, ma'am, I'm just expressing my thought. I believe in freedom of speech. I do not agree with asking you to agree with what my thought is. And I just, I wanna have an open conversation, but I am not gonna shut.  If I feel that masks are useless, particularly  I had a cloth mask on and  I could tell the lady that you know, was taking care of me just by looking at her eyes that she was thinking, yeah dude you may have this, you may be on the right track. So anyhow, I said to the lady, look, I am sorry. If I offended you and so forth, there was a man at that, but I do have a right to my opinion. And she says, oh, you didn't offend me, blah, blah, blah. And went back to her previous mantra of this, that, and the other thing. And I said back in 1918, they had, I think they called it the Spanish flu and there. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions and millions of people died from this particular virus, we have had viruses since the beginning of time. We're gonna have 'em until the end of time. Now I am not giving any kind of aspect. COVID 19 was not a serious virus and yes, it killed a lot of people and so forth. And unfortunately, we're gonna have more viruses that come along. However, here in America, we still have freedom of speech. I'm sitting out here in my backyard. I have my American flag and it is blowing in the breeze and I happen to be a.  An air force veteran and so on. So wherever you are, whether wherever you are here in America or Canada or anywhere else in the world if you happen to have freedom of speech, I would like to encourage you to speak up whatever your points of view are. I'm not  I have nothing wrong. I have nothing.   The person who happened to be a female disagreed with my point of view. That's what freedom of speech is all about. So before we get any further on this aspect, I want to go circle back and tell you that you could go to James fantastic.com. And if you'd like to register for. A 15-minute session with me that we will address what you feel is your number one block to being a confident communicator - jamesfantstik.com. And if you go to our sister website, mrfantastik.live We also have another real nice freebie five steps to up-leveling your communication skills. That's what we're. At our sister website, mrfantastik.live. So let's come back here. One more time to freedom of speech here in America. Our founding fathers left their respective homelands on that principle one that was one of many principles. Freedom of speech. The freedom and right. The bear arms, freedom of religion, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So I wanna encourage all Americans to speak up in a kind caring manner to have a debate about not being offended. To have a debate of not trying to offend the other person.  We all know people who have relatively our perspective, our point of view. Some people may be slightly different. Some people may be greatly different.  I guess the thing that. The saddest part about here in America is the polarization that has happened in this nation. And that polarization has happened. I think because of a lot of social media. And a lot of folks can hide behind falsehoods. They don't have their name, their picture, and their face on their particular social media page, et cetera, et cetera here at James. fantastic.com. Boom I'm. I'm giving you my point of view in regards to freedom of speech, communicating, et cetera, et cetera. Again, I am not here to offend anybody. I just want to encourage civil conversation and civil debate. I hope that you will give that seriously consider. And I hope that you'll go to James fantastic.com and register for a session with me and we'll have a great time and I'll see whether I can apply some of my decades of cation skills to help you become a confident communicator. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for being with me today on the monetize, your voice podcast. Make today the most fantastic day of your life.

The Art of Confident Communication: When are We Washed Up?

Hello, my friend. And thank you so much for joining us here on the Monetize Your Voice Podcast, James 'Fantastik' Hepler, right by your side. I just had a very interesting opportunity to delve deep within my soul as someone. Said to me, just in passing and lightheartedly. So how is a washed-up broadcaster like yourself doing so that gave impetus for me to address wash dump? So before we get into what could be.  If we chose, to look at it as a negative or a down aspect in the scenario washed up  I just wanna tell you that we're doing a lot of new things at jamesfantastik.com. We encourage you to log on. If you are attempting to improve your communication skills, we are offering. Free sessions for those that qualify to talk to yours truly. And we will help you at least attempt to help you solve what you feel is your biggest roadblock to being a communicator, to just have a good time to sit down with. Very few notes as I'm doing right now and just keep on rattling off great ideas and communicating. So all you gotta do is just go to jamesfantastik.com. And I think according to the digital people, there's gonna be some kind of a popup flop up, hop up or whatever then you can fill that out. And if you qualify you and I will have us. 15-minute chat session and I will try to help you solve or overcome or discover the real reason you're having this particular roadblock to your confident communication. Alrighty, sounds good to me.  Washed up, it was one of those things that just grabbed me. It was right before we were getting ready to play golf. I play in this great seniors league and it just stuck with me. So afterward I got to come out to my phone, come out to my car and got the phone. And I have this section here for podcast ideas. So the headline says washed-up broadcaster. What is the story behind being washed up? Think about that for a moment. Why would we want to be that negative either to ourselves or to anybody else? When are we truly washed up? Are we ever washed up? What is the connotation not washed up? And why do we, even as a society, use it to be unkind. Now I wanna make this not taken. I am not saying whoever the person was that said it to me, a fellow go good.  Golfer was. I think their whole tone was to be comedic as a blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Because  I think in our area I'm considered to be a relatively successful broadcaster. I've been in the business for. A lifetime. So I had to check this out with the dictionary. So I  went in there and I said, so what is the definition that washed up that this is what came up deposited by the tide on the shore, as in a washed-up jellyfish. Hey. I said that's not too bad and I never even thought of that aspect as part of the definition washed up. We, I love the shore. I love to be on the beach and we see all these different things that are. Washed up on the shore, on the beach. However, that was not the. That was not what was delivered. The question was how is a washed-up broadcaster like you doing today, these days? Yeah. So then the port too, on the definition, a washed up. Came up on the screen and it said no longer effective or successful as a washed-up actress or act tour. Aha. So let's go back. Let's just look at this for a moment because you see everything in life revolves around. What type of mental spin do we put on any subject? And I am observing because in the previous podcast here, I talked about tall, the art of laser listening, and I've always considered myself to be a half-decent listener and I am focusing. on increasing my capabilities with tall, the art of laser listening. So after that comment was given to me at the beginning before we even went out on the golf course, this is what they call a shotgun start.  There were like 60 or 70 of us in a league. And I started to listen intently. To all the comments and all the negativity that was going on, that people were saying about themselves, other people in my force about their golf capabilities, and on. And I just want you folks to know from my perspective, that there isn't anything positive that can come to anyone when we produce. Negative energy. And in fact, I started talking to myself in positive terms. I'm hearing all this negative garbage. So before we go on anymore on this, I just wanna come back to tell you about the freebie we're giving away@jamesfantastic.com and also wanna thank you again for joining me here on the monetize your voice podcast cast.    This is my retirement passion. And earlier today  I was down these are things you should never admit in the business world that we can't be human and admit this kind of stuff, but I didn't sleep well last night. And a lot is going on to produce these, the podcast and everything else and the digital team, especially for a dude that's 42 and a half and you can have a fairly good, multiple multiplying factors to that, but any who  The freebie you go to James fantastic.com and they'll be one of them pop up things that come on the screen and you can apply for a free 15-minute session with the old boy. And  I'll try to give you some tips on what you feel is your number one roadblock to becoming a confident community. The art of communicating confidently, -TACC - that's what we do here at the monetize, your voice podcast, and James fantastic.com. And more than likely, there's a link here on this podcast button. That'll take you right there.  That's why other team members are good at that. So give that a shot. So let's get back here. To negativity and washed up. So the question is when are we truly washed up? I can tell you, there are a lot of my peers I'm in, in my seventies.  and there aren't very many, my peers that are active in this kind of a setup, whatever their specialty in life is, and that's falling, cuz that's none of my business. But my question is when are we truly washed up?  I will tell you what I feel. We are truly washed up. We are no longer breathing. I feel that we can be a service to society until we take our very last breath with some other connotations and yadda data, but all things being equal. The last thing.    If there isn't anything else that we can do physically, we can always, and I do mean always be praying. We can always be praying is one of the greatest, most powerful resources that all a man counted has. So that's what. Think what are we truly washed up? Are we ever washed up? My answer is no, we're never washed up as long as we can love as long as we can encourage we aren't washed up.  So I'll ask you the question to ask yourself why. Do we use that negative term or any other negative term in our society? Is it necessary? Does it make the person feel better or more important? To ask the question, how is a washed-up broadcaster doing, or what does a washed-up broadcaster do? So now again, I want to tell you, that I am very thankful. I'm very thankful that the person asked me that question. They did it in a lighthearted setup.  It was one of those backhanded jokes, blah, blah, blah. But I'm thankful.  The question was asked, cuz it gave me another opportunity to grow. It gave me another opportunity to dig deep down into the depth of my soul. Because from my point of view, my dear friend, that's where all the diamonds and gold are found by digging deep into the depth of ours. I hope you will do that. I hope that you will try your very best to say goodbye to the negativity of any kind and me on an upcoming podcast.  It may be the next one. I am going to be talking about. Freedom of speech right here on the monetize, your voice podcast. So one more little thing here for you before we go. If you like to apply for a free 15-minute session with James. Fantastic. Just go to James, fantastic.com and the popup window come there and all that other kind of stuff. And we have a bunch of other freebies. Which are listed here on the digital aspect of things which is at our sister.  What do they call that? sister URL. I,  there's so many of these terms, folks. It's just hard for a young dude like me to remember 'em all. But our sister website is Mr. Fantastic dot. If you go there, we have another great five-step freebie giveaway for you because we want you to grow and we want, you to be the best of the best, except nothing less.  I hope    I know that I am not a washed-up anything because I'm not a jellyfish and I haven't been washed up on the seashore. So you aren't washed up either wherever you are. I told you I had a very down morning today. And I was very unhappy with myself. I was. It doesn't happen very often. However, like all of you fine folks I happen to be human also. And that just is the way it is. It's life. As  Franks said as life I've been. Offer a pirate, a king, and a queen, whatever. However, it goes bumping down and in and out. Keep going, keep taking the next step. Keep taking the next step. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here on the monetize, your voice podcast will be back again. If the good Lord's willing and the Creek don't rise, please consider. Making today the most fantastic day of your life.

The Art of Confident Communication: Adaptability - Making Better Choices In Bad Situations Episode 18

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 10, 2022 22:47

Hello there, my friends, James 'Fantastik' Hepler here with you on the Monetize You Voice Podcast, I'm having a really interesting day. And so I thought I ought to share it with all you find fantastic people. Today. We're gonna talk about adaptability because buddy, am I ever being educated on adaptability? I got up about 20 after 3:00 AM, as in the morning and the middle of the.  To travel to Charleston, to meet the love of my life. Now, somebody that's in their eighth decade that has been gifted with meaning a spectacular lady is just its divinity is the best way to. So anyhow, I'm  Lehman from  Harrisburg, Pennsylvania driving not driving, flying into Philly and then Philly into Charlesville, South Carolina.  So we land in Philly and got this thing on the phone. It says your flight has been canceled.  oh my, does that ever make one feel? So I stopped at the first information station and the gentleman says    Nope. You gotta go all the way down there to do the uh, main customer service area. So I just    TRO down the hall and  Gentleman there going through all this computer stuff and back and forth. And he says the best I can do is  I can send you to Boston and then I can send you to Washington DC, and then I can send you to Charleston and you'll get there about nine 30 tonight. I'm going like, whoa my goodness. I said, will you please please hit some more buttons on that keyboard? So all the time he's doing this  I'm praying.  That is just part of my belief system and I'm giving thanks for whatever I'm supposed to be learning from this.    Great situ.  In adaptability, we have a choice that we can either get all riled up or they say the hair on your neck can stand up and you can let your blood pressure get up and complain and all those other things. So instead of doing that, I was, I just was. And  I shouldn't say just praying, I should say I praying. And so what I thought I would do here is I go to Webster and get the definition of adaptability. And that is the quality of being able to adjust to new conditions, the quality of being able to adjust to new conditions. So what is our adaptability?  This, the lens that we look through, any situation in life, or as we like to say@jamesfantastic.com, we can either look at 'em as obstacles or opportunities to grow is all our choice. Everything in life is a choice. Now think about that for a moment. Everything. Absolutely everything in life is a choice. So if you so choose to change the lens through which you are viewing any situation and look at it as an opportunity to grow. Instead of an obstacle, I can guarantee you that you're going to learn a lot more and you're gonna have a much more enjoyable time with whatever you know, the current debacle is, I guess the best way to.  Let me share with you some of the wonderful things that have happened to me during this time. Okay. So what we're gonna do here is just take a moment until this background noise has subsided. Okay. I think it has subsided so I can continue I'm in the Miami airport, right? And so what I wanted to share with you before that announcement came on was what has taken place since my first flight was canceled. Now, I just want to go back and remind you that I was supposed to be in Charlesville, South Carolina at 10 30. This morning. It is now 3 25 in the afternoon, and I am in Miami, Florida, anywho, back to adaptability. So as I was there with the agent and he was typing away, the other lady, agent female agent next. Was smiling and then had these gorgeous fingernails. And I say, yeah, those are some beautiful fingernails you have there. And she smiled and the type in a way. So next thing, she gets involved in this. And I could tell that, that she had more experience than the gentleman that was helping me. And so she started typing things into her computer and the next thing. Came up together and they said, Hey, we can take you to Miami. And then to Charleston. And instead of getting in at nine 30 or 10 o'clock you are gonna get in around 6 25.  I said that is a massive improvement. So that's exactly what we did. And then I, they told me  I had to get to another terminal. And so I went walking down through, and I guess I kinda looked like a guy that didn't know what he was doing. So this nice gentleman came over to me.  He had a, a. A transport chair. And I said no, I, no, I don't need a, no, he says to me, oh, I'm not talking about putting you in the chair. It looks like you could use some help.  I said, young man. That is exactly right.  I could use some help in many aspects of life, but anyhow  I saw him what was going on. Oh yeah. He says, just go down there and talk to that young lady.  and she'll direct you. I said thank you so very much for your kindness. Yes. He says that's what we need more of in this world. It is not rocket science. And I said, young man. You're exactly correct. And just as a reminder, in case you're just. A first-time listener here in the monetize, your voice podcast@jamesfantastic.com. Our mission statement is every day and every way it's Inna of L PJK in a fun and easy. So I'll spell that out. For all you first-time listeners or third-time listeners or whatever, every day and every way it's RNA implementation and application of LPJ K love, peace, Joanne kindness in a fun and easy way. So it's very interesting.  It is my belief that we also are constantly generating. And when we generate positivity, we also attract positivity. So I go to the young lady, the gentleman directed me too, and I said, ma'am. I have to get to the sea terminal. Can you get me on the right bus? Oh yeah. She says you go over the, to that line over there. And there was gentleman, he says, come over here and get in front of me. And so I get chatting with this young man and we jump on the bus and then we jump off the bus and we're having a great time. And I'm just sharing some of the thoughts that I share here and the monetize, your voice podcast, and that you can also get@jamesfantastic.com. And he was very interested. And so I gave him my card and he's smiling. And. Wow. I tell him that I'm located  Northeast of Harrisburg, PA, and he says, man, I get up there on a regular basis, this, that, and the other thing, and come to find out that he is an association with a company. That is located in the greater Harrisburg area. Now, here is divinity. This is what I want you guys to get in regard to adaptability. Okay. So I said to him, you are associated with, and I think it was something like select medical.  10 days before this, my sweetheart is flying in and her seatmate is a young man that works for select medical. And she asked him if he happened to ever hear of a guy by the name of jolly Jim. Which is what, why Monica was for 50, some years when I was on the radio and his eyes lit up. Oh my gosh. He says, yeah, I know all about GE Jim. He came down and introduced himself, works for select medical. Now, ladies and gentlemen, that only can come under the heading of divinity.  You see my adaptability whatever God had in mind, for whatever reason that my flight was canceled and all these other things, there was a reason. Number one. So then I got a meal voucher for $12. In today's world is funny, but it's still 12 bucks. So I got myself some oatmeal and fruit on top and a bottle of smart water. And went sat down and the lady alongside me. And so of course being the introvert that I am, I began chatting with her and find out she's a nanny. And as I shared with the previous gentleman and I shared here, I think about two episodes. That I really feel the cornerstone, at least in my life is defined by the statement. What is the depth of my desire to serve on whatever subject I'm at the current time? And I shared it with this young lady and her eyes got as big as snowballs and we were chatting and I repeated to her it to her again. And she said  I need to put that on my phone. What is the depth of my desire to serve? So I think that's something that we all need to ask each other on a regular basis. And speaking of serving, if you go into mrfantastik.live, we'll send you five free tips to up level. Your communication skills. Just one of the many things we do@jamesfantastic.com and here on the monetize, your voice podcast. So adaptability.  My story's not over. So I get to Mike's gate and it is packed with people going to Miami and it's a huge plane. So I tried to get 10,000 steps in every day and I knew I was behind the eight ball. I still am a little bit behind the eight ball on that, but anyhow, I'm walking around and walking around. And so this young gentleman, you smile at me, he says, I think that's about your 10. Trip in the circle here that you're making. And so    I stopped and chatted with him and he's from Dallas, Texas, and he's in the consulting business and all this other kinda stuff. And so I shared with him, I shared my corn with him. And I also was able to share, that we got the talking about in America, we have this situation where people don't want to have a dialogue. And our founders of this country came here. The first number one reason was freedom of religion. And the second was freedom of speech. And I said I don't understand why we. Have shut down in having a dialogue.  And he shared with me and he's, and he is his late forties. And he said freedom of religion is really da. I said yeah, but the point is not a dogma that my religion is better than somebody else's religion. It's a matter of just saying what is your belief. And sharing whatever my sweetheart has a different faith than what my faith is and I respect it and she respects my faith and we still love one another and freedom of speech.  What, how can any of us grow if we're not willing to talk?    With sensibility and not shouting, not trying to force my views upon you or you trying to force your views upon me. That's not a discussion.  That's not an exchange of ideas. That's what freedom of speech is and the exchange of ideas back to adaptability. How adaptable are we? So anyhow  I'm now only about where am I? I'm about exactly three hours from reaching my destination.  it should have been at about seven hours. Again, I can choose to be irritated and irritable and all those other things or I can choose to say, Hey, it is what it is. I am going to choose to make the best of it. And so that's what I'm doing.  I had this idea that was given to me on the flight down to Miami. Hey, you ought to do a podcast on adaptability. Let's make this a  positive experience. So when you are given lemons, I hope you will choose to make lemonade and make lots of lemonade and then sell the lemonade. Because everybody will be better off for your choice to take the lemons and make lemonade or lemon, Mer pie or lemons, smoothies. Be adaptable. Be adaptable. Be courageous. Be a great, fantastic human being. Hey, thanks so much for joining me here on the monetize, your voice podcast. It means the world to me that you want to share some of your precious time with James. Fantastic. Hepler, we'll be back with more right around the corner. Be adaptable, little Pilgrim, be adaptable and. Please choose to make today the most fantastic day of your life.

In our last episode, we were talking about having a fantastic, fascinating adventure today. We're gonna take a look again at how we focus on and position different aspects of life. So many of my friends, associates, and acquaintances, particularly the acquaintances. So often look at life through the lens of frustration and obstacles. Pothole speed bumps. So on and so forth. As I think I've told you before I classify myself as a realistic optimist, not an optimistic, real. I'm a realistic optimist. So I know I have experienced over many decades, the roller coaster aspects of the journey called life. I also have learned that the more often I keep looking at it through the lens of positivity. The easier it is to negotiate the potholes and speed bumps of life. So today we're gonna take a look at the two big OS. Are they obstacles or are they opportunities to grow? This is always the interesting aspect of our positioning. Again, as much as it hurts me to say the statement that the vast majority of people that I know look at them as obstacles, the challenges of life are. I'm speaking about. Most people look at the challenges of life as obstacles instead of opportunities to grow. So I would ask that you give serious consideration to a blessing yourself. We're switching the lenses through which you look at life through, which you look at life. I get a daily motivational inspirational message for a  gentleman. Out of Texas and his name happens to be Ralph Marston, M a R S T O N. And I would like to suggest that you give serious consideration to signing up for his daily motivator. He is one of the most reasonable dudes that I know $15 a year is just amazing. I wanna share this portion of this particular day's message from him. These are the last two paragraphs. Is there anything you wish you had done in the past hour? The past week or past few months now is your chance to stop wishing and start doing the next hour of your life begins. Now. Live it as. It's the most important one yet, because it is, and that's an extended way of saying one of Mr. Fantastic quotes enjoy every miraculous, magical minute. While you're in it and that's where we need to be.  In scriptures, we are taught that. We are supposed to live in the present. We were designed to live in the present in our humanness. We can only handle 24 hours segments at a time. So I would like to encourage you to change the lenses through which you view life. If you put a lot of time and energy into the three very terrible Musketeers where he doubts and fears, I call 'em the three terrible troublesome. Muske tears worry, a doubt in fear, they Rob us of so much energy. So let's switch our lenses from obstacles to opportunities, Grow's such a great opportunity for me to be here with you to share some thoughts for you to think about speaking of which. If you would like to have five free tips to up-leveling your communication skills simply long owned at Mr. fantastic. live. So what are going to be your opportunities to grow today? Hello, my friend, James Fantastik on the Monetize Your Voice Podcast. Thank you so very much for joining us.  It is a privilege and a pleasure to be able to be with you and to share some thoughts that hopefully will be helpful. In your daily activity of this game called life. Now the last several podcasts, we were serious. We were talking about white noise.  it's the morning time when I'm cutting this. So sometimes my jaws don't work in the best manner that they ought to work. Y so anyhow, we were talking about white noise and. We spent three different podcasts looking at many different aspects of probably the largest intruder in what we call tall, T and L the art of listening. So if you haven't heard the three previous podcasts, I would. Highly suggest that you go back and listen to 'em they're short, and to the point, and we're gonna continue this, the art of comfort of communication is so crucial.  And that's our program tack the art of confident communication. It is.    I wish I  really could tell you from my heart of hearts, this amazing freedom that comes, the more that we hone our skills and all the other subcategories that go into building a confident communicator. So if you haven't heard those last three. Go back and check 'em out. And while we're talking about checking things out, if you go to mrfantastik.live that's mrfantastik.live, we will send you five free tips to up-leveling your communication skills. I suggest that you give yourself that gift. So moving on. As I had mentioned earlier here, we've been talking about white noise. So the day I thought we kinda lighten up a little bit there, buddy. Yeah. And we're gonna look at a thing called. Fantastic. Fascinating adventure. Everything that we do in life has to do with what is ours. Emotional mental spin on things. And today's topic of a fantastic, fascinating adventure viewing life. From that perspective. Now only a few weeks before I cut this, I was flying and of course, because I've had seven back operations. I need to stretch from time to time and I've always had a great relationship with the stewards they're now called  I don't know what they're called but anyhow      I always work with the folks that are in that particular business because they have a challenging job. And basically, I try to make everything fun and easy.  so I'm in the back cabin chatting with the ladies and I'm handing out my business cards.  And so the one steward who says to me, oh you are in the communication business, you have the monetize, your voice PO podcast. So how are you doing? And she wanted to know what was our listenership and our following. And I said we are trying. Break the DaVinci code of the internet marketing maze and her eyes got so big. They were like saucers. And she said, oh my, that sounds fascinating. And I about fell on my rear end and I thought to myself, wow, that's interesting. And I said to her right away  I'd been looking at it through the lenses of its. Frustrating. However, I like your lens of fascinating a lot better. So I communicated this with my staff and  I said let's just and we all started laughing and yeah. Yeah. Let's look at this as fascinating. Adventure. And then, of course, I like to add our other very descriptive adjective. Fantastic.  I like to consider myself Mr. Fantastic. Fantastic dot go. So the point I'm trying to make here, folks are. How do we position where we're going every moment of every day. If we do choose to look at life from a positive perspective.     Whoa. It becomes absolutely. Fantastic and fate.  So think about that. Okay. Whatever you're doing, whatever the challenge is  I'm on the road again, as the great song by Willie Nelson goes and  I'm in, I'm actually in the human maintenance business that is. Maintaining this vehicle called my body and the longer I go, and of course the more wear and tear there is with the vehicle, the more necessary for maintenance or as I like to call it maintenance so anyhow while we do this and the further we get along, down the line, really the more. Essential. It becomes for us to look at things lightheartedly. The earlier in life that we can get into the habit of viewing things in a lighthearted, fun, and easy manner, the greater and more adventurous fund we will be. On this journey called life. So I would like to highly encourage you to give serious consideration to having your viewpoint shift. If it isn't already there to a fantastic, fascinating adventure, or you can put the journey in there, whatever floats your boat, doesn't it make you feel good to think? Fantastic. Fascinating adventure slash journey. Now I am not asking you to put on rose-colored glasses. I'm not asking or suggesting that you should be Pollyanna in the scriptures. It says you will have trouble in this world, but do not fear for, I have overcome the world. So I'm not asking you to say, oh, you can be so fantastic. You adventure.  I have a pretty good idea of what you might be going through and I'm not diminishing. What's that word diminishing is what I think I was trying to say. I'm not diminishing whatever your current opportunity to grow might be. That's a whole other subject that we'll talk about probably in the next podcast. Hello, my friend, James 'Fantastik' Hepler here with you on the Monetize Your Voice Podcast. Thanks so much for being by my side. It is a great day to be alive and to be able to serve. I feel the cornerstone of everything we do in life is. What is the depth of our desire to serve so in the arena of confident communications, or as we like to call it here at jamesfantastik.com - The Art of Confident Communication. This is a cornerstone for every aspect of ours. And we've been talking about removing the white noise in our life. They can be called interruptions, distractions, frustrations, or obstacles. It doesn't matter what the label is that we choose to put on this white noise. Is there much of it we can eliminate or control or at least diminish the amount of its intrusion into our lives? Now, before I get into more of this white noise challenge, I like to tell you that you can go to mrfantastik.live and we'll send you five tips to uplevel your communication skills. It will be your first step of getting to the point of just really loving to communicate. That's mrfantastik.live So let's get back to this white noise stuff. I'm not sure how many people really understand the cost just in dollars. It is immense. It goes into the hundreds of billions of dollars because of miscommunication and misunderstandings.  misperception on and on and on, but on top of that economic toll and, uh, of course, I don't know if you want to call it, unfortunately, so much of life is counted in regards or the, in the form of dollar bills, the form of money, whatever currency you use. However, I feel there is a much, much, much greater cost to not being able to communicate with confidence, clarity, control, and comfort. And that is the emotional cost that will cost the setbacks that happen to all of us in every phase of our life. When we have these communication interruptions, along with that white noise that we're talking about, this interrupts the art of laser listening. I think that most people only think about one aspect of communication and that is the speaking part and yes, that's what starts the communication. However, what's, really, really important. And what is the greatest challenge? At least I feel anyhow and that. The art of laser listening, as you are listening to me today, whatever you're doing, many of you are driving your commuting. The question is, how is your laser listening, coming along? What are you picking up? What are you comprehending? About white noise. What are you comprehending? And what action are you doing to make those changes? We can hear so many different ideas and suggestions and they are meaningless. They are worthless without me. Implementation and application that is the juice. In words, my dad always said it is the waving lotion that makes the difference without in a, with wishful thinking, daydreaming, whatever connotation you would like to apply to it. So I'm asking you now, have you taken action implementation and application of becoming a laser listener? Not,  not just winning for your turn to speak, but comprehending what the person is saying and how. It will affect your life. That's the key, how will it affect your life, the impact on your life, and the impact that your life has on all the other people around you. And when we choose to say, okay, I'm gonna pay attention to what's going on. To cut down on all the frustration, the obstacles, because we're only listening for half a year. So I ask that you look at that diligently to improve your life. Now there may become a time, you know, where you want to tune out. and that's fine. Uh, I think maybe what you may want to consider doing is just telling the people around you that you are tuning out, or if you're gonna tune out, finds a place where you can have solitude. And as I mentioned in, uh, the previous edition, a lot of people need to know around. I feel they're scared of quietness and in one aspect, I guess that's another form of white noise that we're not used to, but that's white noise. That can be so very, very helpful and productive when we choose to embrace it. So give that some thought as well, quiet time, what you want to think when you want to create Mr. fantastic. live. Mr. fantastic. live is the location for you to pick up your five free tips for elevating your communication skills. I am hoping that praying that you will focus on the depth of your desire to serve in your area of expertise. Unless we like to say at jamesfantastik.com. T the art of communicating confidently is the second most important cornerstone in your life. The first of course is your area of expertise, knowing what that is, knowing the ins and outs of it. And when you do then the next step is, well, how are you going to tell. The rest of the world about what you offer and what your skills are. And it also applies to communicating with family, friends, relatives as to what your desires are and, and how you wish to be a part of their life. So working on laser listening as well, when we're in the defining and uncovering and discovering precisely what are the w white noises in our life.  thank you so very much for joining us here at the monetize, your voice podcast. I am hoping and praying that you are having. A very, very enjoyable day, and that you are striving to hone the facets of your diamond until next time please choose to make today the most fantastic day of your life!!!

The Art of Confident Communication: Eliminating White Noise Ep.14

Hello, my friend, James, fantastic helper here with you on another gorgeous day, another wonderful day for which to be thankful. And I am very thankful that you are here with me on the monetize, your voice podcast. In our last podcast, we were identifying white noise in the process of The Art of Confident Communications or T.A.C.C - that is our flagship course at jamesfantastik.com And many other areas are involved with T.A.C.C. We were addressing white noise. And before we get into that in today's episode, I'd like to remind you that we do have a gift for you simply by going to mrfantastik.live - we will send you 5free tips for up-leveling your communication skills. I suggest that you do yourself a favor and give yourself that freebie and take the first step. To communicate confidently with clarity, with control and comfort, and just bring that much more joy into your own life and into all the lives of the people that you touch daily. So let's get back to white noise. Now I asked you in the previous podcast to identify....  your top five, most frustrating white noise interference. And if you did that, I would be surprised if you are not now being able to identify them a whole lot easier. It could be picking up the telephone every time it rings the cell phone. We have a lot of folks in our society that really can't live without their cell phone. It's a real addiction.  I had my ringer turned off the vast majority of times and  I check my phone normally at least every hour UN unless I am in communication with someone I know. I have an important return call. I then will turn my ringer on, but turn that ringer off. Oh my gosh. The amount of energy that is saved because of these white noise interferences, annoyances, whatever you wish you would like to label them, distract us. And that takes. So that simple step of turning off the ringer, unless  I'm expecting a phone call has saved a lot of energy for me to put into other vital areas. Another thing that I have initiated, and that is I have turned off my notifications. I think of all the apps and everything that I have on the phone and the tablet and on the desktop.  I think I only have one of the applications that have. The noise maker.    the ding, ding, whatever it is. And of course, when I turn that off on my phone, turn the ringer off on my phone. It, those ding dings don't interrupt me either. And it has been amazing.   Improvement in the quality of my life. Now another aspect of white noise is really, truly the atmosphere that we're in.  Some people need to have some type of music for lack of a better term.  In the background, a lot of people don't like quietness. I would like to suggest that you seriously think about playing classical music softly in the background. If you want to have some background ambiance, because unlike other tunes that are. Done in the inter instrumental version, most classical music, at least my level of understanding classical music. I don't know the theme or and a lot of classical music does not contain words with it. So what it does it helps me. To concentrate on the project that I'm working on at that particular time.  As we are speaking right now that gives you a perfect example.  I happen to be traveling on an interstate and I have no music playing or anything else. I am simply.  enjoying the drive and enjoying communicating with you here on the monetize, your voice podcast.  Now, this is a road that I have driven for a long time. so it is, I'm not endangering myself or anyone else while this is taking place. So this. Item of white noise, the smallest amount of those types of interruptions disconnect us from what we want to do. So I suggest that when you are doing creative work, please limit those external interferences. You may want to put a sign on your office door that you are in creative mode for the next. X number of minutes or the next hour or two. And you'll be back in the communication side of things at such a certain time. It will improve your productivity.  Many times creating takes a lot of energy. It takes a lot of thought and those exterior interferences. Just burn up our energy in a useless manner. Let me interject again that we have five free tips, up-leveling your communication skills at Mr. fantastic. live. Mr. fantastic. live. Get them today. You'll be happy. You. So let's talk some more about white noise right now. The only white noise I have are the rumble strips that are placed between the cement segments on the interstate. So interesting. When I hear a rough one that goes over a room, which you may even be able to hear. here on this recording. What I wanna bring up about that is you see, even with everything else, so nice and quiet. Since I'm talking about white noise, I'm very cognitive of what are the other outside interruptions to my creative thinking and sharing with you. How to overcome them. Remember our attention goes where our energy flows. So wherever we put our energy, that's where our attention is going to go. So right now, whatever you're doing, if we switch gears and I say to you, what are your plans for this evening? Your mind switches gears right away. You aren't thinking about white noise. You're thinking about, oh my gosh. Yeah, maybe three o'clock in the afternoon. And your name maybe you'll work at four o'clock and you may already be thinking about, oh man, I can't wait until the, till the bell rings. So our energy flows. Where our attention goes. If I asked you, what are your plans for the weekend? Your mind goes to a different area than the previous question of what are you doing this evening? When was the last time you had pizza on and on. Other interruptions that we can control are, as I suggested putting a sign on your door, if you work at an office if you have a cubicle where you work and you have the capability of posting a sign such as please don't interrupt me for the next 20 minutes, whatever the situation might be. All those items will help you in your productivity. They will help you have more Enjoy enjoyment in life. So let's be very calm, a cognitive of what is going on around us. As we eliminate the white noise in our life. Go to   Mr. Fantastic live and pick up. You are free five tips to up-leveling your communication skills now, before I go today, first of all, I want to thank you again for joining us here on the monetize, your voice podcast with James. Fantastic. Hepler. Is a privilege to share this time with you. And I've asked my producers basically to keep these podcasts in what we call a raw form because what I want you to understand is that when we communicate communication are normal. Not perfect. And if you listen to a podcast that doesn't have any pauses in it or any missteps in most cases, that means that it has been edited. And I don't believe that's real life. Now the other thing that I wanna share with you in this podcast and in the previous one where we were talking about the first portions of white noise, they've all been put together. Extemporaneously. I mentioned that I'm doing this on my small Y yak machine as I like to call it, and I'm doing it while I'm traveling. I want you to understand the background and what is going on in all of the creation and production of this podcast. Now I've been broadcasting for, as I like to say week or two. And. This is a cornerstone of my life. What I really wanna get across to you is this don't be concerned about not making the flu, whether you're communicating to colleagues at work or on the phone,, or to your significant other. Wife or husband to your children your neighbors whatever the content might be, give thought to what you want to say,, and be very cognizant of white noise. If there's a lot of other information, have no information interruptions or interference, whatever you're trying to say will be that much more difficult for the listener to absorb. But thank you again for your kindness in sharing your time with me. We'll be back with more on this subject, as it is so critical to learn the art of laser listening, please make today the most fantastic day of your life!!!!

Yes, we are going to get this show on the road. Absolutely. No two ways about it. Welcome back, Mr. Fantastik. Right by your side. And this is going to be the first in a series of 30 podcasts from the book day by day with James Allen written by Vic Johnson. James Allen wrote the book as a man thinketh. If you have not put that into your reading library highly, highly suggest that you do that as quickly as you possibly can. A very short book that has mountains, a wonderful one. Great meat that will feed your mind fantastically. So we're going to rock and roll here with the first of the 30, and this is called accept. No limits. A person is limited only by the thoughts that he chooses as a man. Think of. Mr. Johnson's rights, are not limited to the life you now live. It has been accepted by you as the best you can do at this moment. Anytime you're ready to go beyond the limitations currently in your life. You're capable of doing that by choosing. Different thoughts or, you know, here@jamesfantastic.com. We don't believe in obstacles. We believe in opportunities to grow. And that's one of the aspects of choosing different thoughts. The other aspect that you know, we address all the time is worry, doubt, and fear. And@jamesfantastic.com. We have a saying worry, doubt, and fear. You are not welcome here. So our perspective on how we view everything in life is a determining factor in how quickly we grow and how much better enabled we are to serve. All of mankind. Johnson goes on to say, we each earned the income we do today because that is the amount we have limited ourselves to earn. We could easily earn 5, 10, 15, 20 times more. If we did not limit ourselves to the thoughts that we currently maintain, I give that a little bit of thought. We limit ourselves in so many areas of life, by the thoughts we choose the thoughts we entertain, the thoughts we continue to repeat hour after hour, day after day, you don't believe that this is true. Surely, you know, people who earn much more than you, who don't have your education skills, your intelligence, your capabilities. So why do they earn more than you? It's a matter of choice of thoughts. I like to share this story from several decades ago. There was this CEO of, I guess, about a $300 million company at the time. And he couldn't get out of his way. And sometimes even though he had problems tying his shoes. I just couldn't figure it out. I'm sure you have had many instances along with that same category. It doesn't matter. It's, you know, it's, for me, it's, it's not a jealousy or envy factor. It, I guess is amazing and amusing at times. So let us take the next step. Let us say, Hey, I can do a lot better than this in all of my services. And I am worth far more than I'm currently being incompetent. So here's a great story. This is the story of George Dan Zik. And Cynthia Kurzy wrote about this in her book on stoppable as a college student, George studied, very hard and always late into the night. So late that he overslept one morning arriving 20 minutes late for class. He quickly copied the two maths problems on the board, assuming they were the homework. It took him several days to work through the two problems, but finally, he had a breakthrough and drop the homework off on the professor's desk. The next day later on a Sunday morning, George was awakened at 6:00 AM by his excited professor since George wasn't late for the class. He hadn't heard that the professor announced that these two unsolvable equations on the board were mathematical minds, teasers that even Einstein hadn't been able to answer, but George Dansik working without any kind of thoughts of limitations had solved. Not. But two problems had stumped mathematicians for thousands of years. How about that folks? How about that? Okay. There was no doubt, no worry, no fear. George jumped in with both feet and said, Hey, well, let's see what's going on here. You see, he didn't look at it as an option. He looked at it as an opportunity to grow. So I hope that you will choose to change your perspectives when the speed bumps and the potholes of life come along. We'll just say, Hey, it's another opportunity to grow. Bob Proctor tells us to keep reminding ourselves that you have tremendous reservoirs of the great potential within us, and therefore we are quite capable of doing anything we set your mind to. All you must do is figure out how you can do it. Not whether or not you can. And once you made up your mind to do it, it's amazing how your mind begins to figure out how to get it done. So what is the project that you're working on? What, how do you want to grow? Where do you want to go check us out at James? fantastic.com. We have some fantastic products, no pun intended. One of the major branding statements we have here at jamesfantastik.com. I also like to inform you that. I am a Christian. And so when I.  Refer to my source of higher power guidance and inspiration. I use terms like God. My maker, Jesus heavenly father, holy spirit. I encourage you. If you don't already have.  Source for guidance and inspiration. That you seek one because. If you didn't hear that, check it out. Today. We are going to be talking about keeping the next step. Keep taking the next step. This is another integral part here at fantastic voice and leadership training. And also on the monetize, your voice podcast. And so that's what. I try to do every day in all aspects of my life. Keep taking that next step. Keep moving forward. Keep looking at life through the windshield of the car and not through the rear view mirror. So we're going to get some more inspiration for you today on this keeping the next step. Keep taking the next step.  I, it is what it is. Folks keep taking the next step. Yes. Inspiration from glacier. Six nine. And let us not be weary. In well-doing. For in due season.  We shall reap. If. We faint, not.  So. I think what this is all saying again, this is this task, the deal. With our anxieties and our fears. Because we're looking forward now. If, you know, God is here. To encourage us. He is good. He is love peace, joy, and kindness. And he wants the best for, for all of us. Another verse in the Bible says that, you know, I have calm. That you may have life. More abundantly. Encouragement encouragement. In this first he's saying, Hey. Let us not be aware, weary in well-doing.  That's the key. The well, when we're, when we're doing our best and we are there to serve and we're serving from our heart. Oh, It doesn't get any better than that. We just have to do it on God's time. And on ours. And I know. That can be frustrating. And. He is really teaching me. He's molding the daylights out of me. And that's fine because that's what gives. Value to life. We have to take our time. We have to stop fretting about the future. Okay. I mean, you know, In the Bible, it says.  You will have trouble in this world with fear or not. I have overcome the world. So. The fretting that we go through. As. Human beings. We just You know, we're simply not applying the fact that we, we, we put God in the orchestra director. Position. And you know, every now and then we like to push him aside and say, I don't think you got the beat quite right. So. What God is also saying is follow my lead. I know what I'm doing. All right. I know what I'm doing.  So let us not grow weary in well-doing.  God smiles on all of us. We're being kind and just doing general simple acts of kindness. Start out with a smile. Start out with a wave. You don't start out with when you're in traffic, letting another person in. Simple, simple, simple things. And it is going to bless you exponentially. Well-doing. Now you also says. In due season.  When we are ready. God opens the doors. He's not going to open doors. Until we're ready to rock and roll until. Well, I should say there, there are times, there are times when we forced the door open.  And I know in my own case, you know, there have been. Some rude awakenings to that.  Sometimes I just sit back and shake my health. My head and smile and say, Yeah, God, you know, sometimes I'm a slow learner.  So we're going to keep taking the next step, because if we do that one step builds on the next step.  And that's how we get to the top of the mountain and we're not gonna. Grow weary because we know in due season we shall reap. We will be. At our destination. If it's God's will for the destination that we want to get to, we are. There is no. Two ways about it, that we are going to reap. So believe that. Believe in yourself. Keep going, keep going, keep going.  He says it in there. If we faint, not. Okay. For in due season, we shall reap if we faint not. So that, that is God's way of saying, keep going, keep going. It's coming. You know I've been in the fruit growing business, basically my whole life from the time I was just a young kid. I just Finished my 66 season while we got or we have one more. Sprayed it to. To administer probably in the very near future.  But I can tell you every season.  Has it's. Specific steps.  And if I. Are the people that are helping me, don't do those specific steps. We are not going to have luscious peaches and nectarines and apples and so on and so forth. So in due season, we shall reap. If we do not faith, now here's a great one from the book day by day by Vic. Johnson. And. This is all about having a purpose in life. And he quotes from Napoleon hill have a think and grow rich. A definite. Definiteness of perfect. Purpose. We have the choice to live on life on purpose or without a purse.  Splice. We have the choice to live our life on purpose or without a purpose. Life doesn't make the distinction. It's simply rewards are choice.  And the rewards may not always be what we had hoped for. As this old poem from think and grow rich. Illustrates. I bargained with life for a penny. And life would pay no more. However I begged at evening when I counted my scanty store. For life is a just employer. He gives you what you ask, but once you have set the wages. Y you must bear the task. I worked for a millennial is higher. Only to learn dismayed that any wage I had asked of life. Life would have willingly paid. So very, very, very Precise and concise words. About not fainting. About believing. In ourself and believing in the guidance that God has for us.  So. Our inspiration today is let us. Not. Grow weary in well-doing. For in due season, we shall reap. If we faint, not. So let us all. Keep taking the next step. The next step. One of the things I know I asked myself, I've asked myself this.  Hundreds of times. Will I ever get there? Will I ever get there?  And then, you know, when I make that mistake and look to the future and say, well, what if this, or what if that, which you may want to dial that up in episode 10? The what ifs in life? Making the excuses. So. Let us faint, not. Cause we will reap in due season. If, if.  We continue taking the next step. And I want to thank you for doing that for taking that next step. If not now when. If not you who.  Thank you for your time. Thank you for being committed to being a life long learner, to get all the juice and the joy out of life. This is your day. To grow and glow.  I appreciate your willingness. To allow me to serve you. Make today the most fantastic day of your life.

And then our episode today, it's, it's entitled to get out of my way. Or get out of your way. I'm going to do it. First-person gets out of my way. This is a. This, this, this. Hits very close to home for me. And You know, I, I always am interesting how the Bible has things. I mean, it's great, it's the greatest instruction book ever. As far as I'm concerned. But in Exodus. 20 verse three. It says thou shall have no other gods before me. And it goes on and it gives you more details. And then it says for, I am a jealous God. So.  You know, I guess. The question is, well, what are these other gods? I believe. The port for myself. I said, I, I, you know, I'm going to do this. First-person. As, as difficult as it is to do. What are those other gods? Well, I feel it's. Worry doubt and fear.  I think it's our ego. Our possessions. Our lack of faith.  And. Also. Superiority. Which ties in with our ego. I mean, we can have an ego that doesn't promote superiority, but in most cases, it does that.  So the reason that this hits a raw nerve for me. Is that you know, I'm. I've been blessed in life. Because I have applied myself. I have said in previous episodes, I am a lifelong learner. And every coin has two sides. So of if I choose to. Declare that title then. I have to be willing to walk the talk and continue to learn and continue to share. So what's been so tough about this is that I've had an amazing. Radio career and. You know, I. Semi tire for several semi-retired.  There are days that I'm also semi-tired. Yeah.  Oh my goodness. But anyhow, I semi semi-retired and I knew I had more to give back and so on. So I started studying. Yeah, I am a life coach. And I started studying with that and all these different seminars and because of my success that I had in radio. This was all through my Eagle. That's all I can tell you. I, it, it, it's painful. To minute, but it was my Eagle because I thought. That is the door in this internet marketing maze. We'll just swing right open. All right. Then here comes, Mr. Fantastic. Let us all bow down and yeah, the data. Well, I, you know, again, that didn't happen in the radio business for me either till I got my first. The radio station is on the air. It took five years of work, five years of. Painstaking work. Okay. So you know, again, How could have I forgotten that? All that time, because you know, it's just, it blows my mind.  But my ego got in the way. So the other, the other part is that you know, we.  We have a check the ego at the door. And the other aspect of this w it's it has been a great learning experience. Because I have grown. From No. Many doors. We'll get wide open for me. But I realize that. God's the Potter and I am the clay. And so for all of us, the question is how flexible is that? Clay is clay nice and soft and moldable. Or is it. As hard as a rock. I think that. Some of the solutions to this. Oh, getting rid of. Worry doubt and fear as other gods.  The main reason I feel that we have that is that we're looking forward. We. Well, what's going to happen tomorrow. What's going to happen next week. How will things be a year from now or 10 years from now? Instead of focusing on this moment and that, you know, that, that scripture. In the Bible, it talks about Do not worry about the moral. Today has enough trouble of its own.  And it also says, you know what I mean? Jesus said you will. We'll have trouble in this life, but fear not for, I. I will overcome the world. So focusing on today being, being here. All right. I was writing this and putting this together and, and I got all sorts of different text messages from friends. Thank me for my service in this veteran state. And I normally have a. A little bit more.  and fantastic attire on than I do today. When I. For, for the folks that are on the video side of this thing. All right. At which they know. I guess that's, I guess I'm explaining this for you folks that are listening to the podcast. So we need to be flexible. Be gotta be flexible.  We've got to let God direct the orchestra.  And you know, when you're a type a personality as I am, it is a that becomes a little challenging, particularly, you know, I've been, I have been seeking God's help my whole life, except there are some times, you know, that I want to do it on my time. And of course, that is. You know, it's impossible. Too. Understand. God's timing. You know, in God's timing a thousand years could be a day. Wow. So we have to be flexible. Step aside. Let God be there in the orchestra directing position. And listen. Listen to the still small voice. What is the still small voice telling us to do? And then the next thing is, of course, Act. Want the still small voice is telling us. It's not about me. It's not about you. It's about what skills do we have? How can we make it? Our fellow man. Better. As we make ourselves better in our desire to serve. Now I know this man I have been serving says, oh, it's just a kid growing up on the farm. Okay. And that's what makes this so painful for me? To bring this, you know, it's, it's, it's an open wound.  So some more solutions, flexible moldable play. Letting God do the directing. And of course, I pray consistently and continuously. Now I. I have been doing a great job on that. You know, I always feel when we earn a compliment. We should receive the compliment and it's okay for us to compliment ourselves when we have done a great job. It's just that simple. It is just that simple. When we have done a great job. Okay. It's all right. Just like I said, there, I am very proud.  By the way, my muscle is growing. In regards to. The consistent and continuous prayer. And I can tell you. Prayer does work. My friend. Prayer does work. So get out of my own way, get out of your own way. When we choose to do that.  We will be amazed how the doors open and I, I am, you know, the doors are starting to open. For Mr. Fantastic. And on so thankful. That I am learning God's lessons. And trying not to have to repeat them too many times. So. I want to encourage you to keep taking the next step. Keep taking the next step. Okay, keep going, keep going, keep going. If not now. When. If not me. Who.  Thank you very much for your time. Thank you for being a lifelong learner. This is your day to grow and glow.  Make today the most. Fantastik day of your life.

So I can say hi and welcome you here to the family of the monetize, your voice podcast. Thanks again for listening. And now let's get the show on the road. Yes, let's get this show on the road. Welcome back. So happy to have you with us today. Of course, the first thing we do is we put on our fantastic attire and I am so happy for you folks watching the video. This is my brand new suit outfit. I just got a couple of days ago. What do you think of this sparkle? The blues and the goals and the white sin. And of course by pink tie and a white hat, we're all ready to roll. I hope you have your fantastic attire and you're ready to roll also this week. We're going to be taking a look at the what-ifs in life. Okay. Are they real or are they just physical. Oh, our imagination. Now, before we get into that, I always like to tell you that I happened to be a Christian. And so when I speak of my higher power, some of the words that I use are, are God creator, Jesus, holy spirit, heavenly father. I encourage you to use a word that works for you. I know that, you know, The feeling and the power of LP, J K love, peace, joy, and kindness. And that's what, it's all about a higher power that brings us LP. J K and I hope that you have that in your life as well. So we're talking today about the, what ifs in life are they real or are they just a figment of our imagination? I want you to think about that for a couple of minutes before we go there. And we're going to take a quick review of our last podcast, which was in decisiveness. Now, Webster says that in decisiveness is not settling an issue, him hawing around. We also have a thing in there. Call comparison despair. That helps us. Am I good enough? Aren't I good enough. Um, lack of laser focus, the why versus the fork in the road we get to this point. Well, uh, well, if I go right, maybe that'll be the wrong decision. If I go left, if I go straight, we need to. Uh, date on our wait. I have a very great story to share with you. That just happened to me within the last hour. You see, I'm, I'm going for an MRI. I'm having some, uh, shoulder problems. And so this has to do with, well, how long do I want to wait? Well, I don't want. You know, any extra time necessary. I need to find out what's going on with my shoulder. So I was scheduled for 10 days from the day, and I kept on calling to see if there was a cancellation call this morning, no luck. So I just said, Hey, you know, I'm going to call again. And the lady was taking her time and this, that, and the other thing. And all of a sudden she has a, Hey, how would you like to do tomorrow? Oh, I said, well, that'd be fantastic. So what time she says, you have to be here at six 30. Now I have over an hour drive to get to the MRI facility. So it's getting up in the middle of the night and I also have three more appointments tomorrow. So you know that I could have said, uh, but no, I wanted to go. There was no wind decisiveness there. Boom. I said before. Now, we're also talking about doing this particular podcast and, you know, I've had a lot of interruptions today. I mean things, Bob Loblaw all over the place and we have our county fair going on right now. And, uh, this, this evening, uh, my favorite local rock and roll band is playing and I've been planning for weeks to get. And I said, Hey, I'm still gonna cut this podcast before I go, because I know I'm not going to have time tomorrow with everything else going on and getting up in the middle of the night, put a date on our way. And I said, Hey, we are not gonna go off on this set up. We have to make a decision. You know, we can, we can change that. There's nothing that says that, that, uh, if we're not doing brain surgery or open heart surgery, that we can't change it, but now's the time to take the next step we got to get rid of in decisiveness. Do it today. Best week. Hey, the what ifs in life? Oh my goodness. What if, you know, like, um, am I tall enough? Do my eyes look good enough? The what ifs to me or the twin sister of in decisiveness, a question for all of us to think about deeply what makes us bill. These huge roadblocks in our life, all this unnecessary. I like the color. They guess gobbly, goop. Are we scared? Is that one of the reasons we come up with the, what ifs do we lack? Focus? How about desire a drive? It was just like the situation the day now, you know, I could have blown this off. You got to remember I'm in my eighth decade now, but I had this brand new suit at all. My gosh, the folks on the video can see it. Isn't it fantastic. I have so, so happy. It makes me feel so good. And so young, I could have pushed this off as a, you know, I'm going to go to the fair, got all this other stuff going on, but no. I know, well, what if I could do it tomorrow or the next day or whatever? I do think what ifs are another form of excuses. I think it has to do with a portion of self sabotage, self sabotage. Yeah. Self sabotage. Not really believing in me and my purpose. I've got some, um, I've got some great stories here on the water gifts. There comes a time when we have to say enough is enough and just go do it. So these, uh, situations just happened to me recently. We have a very, very large Amish community here in central pencil. And I'm been friends with the army, uh, for a long, long time. So I w I was, uh, taking one of my Army's workers home and I had another appointment I had to go to. So I'm heading down this back road now. I mean, this is like in the middle of nowhere, it's out in farm land, farm country. And I, all of a sudden I saw this young girl running up across the line. And I recognized her because it was the younger sister of my helper. And so I slowed down and I saw here's this sign lemonade stand. I'll think about this for a moment. That was a 10 year old and a 12 year old. Now they could have said, well, why, what if we do this work? We make this lemonade and all this other stuff. And, and nobody shows nobody comes down this real rural road. What if we do this work? You know, all these excuses, they didn't say that. They just said, Hey, we're going to do a lemonade stand. And they also have little bags of chips and so on and so forth. Well, I stopped and I backed up and I didn't need any lemonade because I had a drink with me. So I asked the girls about these, these are bags of chips. And so I said, well, which one's your favorite? I bought a bag at a down the road. They were not second guessing themselves. They had this idea, we're putting up a lemonade stand and we're going to do some, um, chips on the side. So we, we have some more items to sell. We also have this wonderful farmer's market that has been around for 80 years and about a mile and a half before you get to the farmer's market. Army's family and they set up a standard, says homemade Whoopie pies. Every Friday. That's when a farmer's market is now. They didn't say, well, what if everyone drives by? Because we can get Whoopie pies at the farmer's market. There are at least two different locations there for Whoopie pies. So whatever everybody buys her will be fine. What if the one goes out of their way to, to stop and pull, pull over and so on and so forth, they said none of those things. And obviously they're doing quite well because they've been there for at least three years now. No excuses, no second guessing they just did it. And then I had this great experience at the former. I met this young lady. That's a retired now from her nursing job. She had like 45 years in the healthcare industry, but she always had this dream about going into business for herself. And she has this product called come Bucci or kombucha. I'm not sure it's a, it's a fermented drink of some kind. And this girl's a great mark. Cause she has samples. Hey friends, it's James. Fantastic. Jumping back in here for a quick moment. Are you looking to go to the next level of your life right now? Your new horizon of abundance success, joy fulfillment. And so I asked her, I said, well, what, what, what was your drive on this? She said, I just want to do it. I want to try it. After 45 years in healthcare, she doesn't say, well, what if no body likes kombucha or my soups? Aren't good enough. She just did it. There were no what ifs. So are you ready? To call it quits with the, what ifs are you ready to say? Enough is enough. I believe in myself. I know I can do this. It's your time. I think what ifs are another form of fear, false evidence appearing real. Or how about Mr. Fantastic definition of. Fun easy and rewarding. So I can say hi and welcome you to our family here at the monetize your voice podcast. Thanks again for listening. And now let's get this on the road. Hello, the world I'm back. James 'Fantastik' Hepler.  It's been a while.  We'll talk about that here in a moment, but first of all, as we do here at the monetize your book. Podcast and@jamesfantastic.com we put on are fantastic where I like to be fantastic. And most of the time I live pretty fantastically. So now I have my wonderful brand new white fedora and a red, white, and blue check shirt. I'm ready to roll. I hope you are also, you may want to put some of them fantastic reading glasses on to complete. You are fun. Tastic attire is so great to be back been 18 months. Yeah. You might say  Mr. Fantastic. What have you been doing for 18 months? For a good question. I asked myself that question when I was writing this and the answer is I have been growing immensely and I like to  Bring it back to the aspect that I become much more moldable, much pliable, but be another great word. Okay. And a couple of weeks ago, I was doing a three-day intense seminar with Alison Maslin. And her company is scale. It, the name of her program is scaling. It's a, I can't remember the name of her company, but anyhow, she's been around forever.  Not that long, but she's been doing it a long time and it was great.  It was three days.  I learned a bunch and it tied into my indecision now. Which is what the subject is for today's recording indecisive. And during that time she had many wonderful speakers and if you have a company that's six mid-six figures to seven figures or higher, and you want to scale checkup, Alison Maslin, the scale it system. One of her speakers was a renowned author and a motivational speaker. He is an ordained minister and he has this new book called the magical mindset. And how do we get from mundane and messy and that kind of stuff? And one particular aspect of the book though is ruining that rock. My world old is he's had, I am a Christian.  He was, I said he was in a dream minister, but I had no idea what his theology is. So anyhow, in, in him saying I am a Christian, he said, so my greater power is called God. And. It was liberating for me because I am also a Christian. I've been a Christian my whole life. And I refer to my source of inspiration of guidance to God.  I refer to it as the holy spirit, my heavenly father  Jesus is called the Christ teaching. And what I would encourage you is to find a word or words or a system that works for you. The great thing about the Christ teaching is Jesus said, here's the Bible you can use as much of it or as little of it, or none of it is here for your attune. There are no rules and regulations.  I got to read three chapters a day or whatever. This is it's a book about life principles and guidance. So anyhow, I want you to know that I am going to refer to my higher power as God or my creator or whatever. You refer to your higher power with what, any kind of words you wish to choose. And I hope that's well with you as well. So the other things I've been doing in the last 18 buds while I've done some trials  I either was even able to do some traveling during the pandemic. , I've had my seventh back operation. This one was, my first massive invasive, system where now has rods and screws and all that kinda good stuff. But, It's been, an interesting and challenging recovery and two hours after the surgery. When I was coming on anesthesia very shortly after being awake, I flat-lined, which is a medical term for having a massive heart attack. And I was dead for 20 minutes. And that has spawned a book that's called the heaven and back that they see you for me to have more time to serve here on earth. And then I have a second book that I'm also writing, which is called well, fed chickens, lay golden eggs, how to get the most out of life. So I'm very thankful. For all my experiences in life. I'm thankful for every breath that God gives me. So that's the other aspect of it up to. And we have a new website, James fantastic.com would love it if you would check it out and tell your friends and neighbors about it. We also have launched and completed my, the first portion of my competent communication, public speaking course, which. Goes by the title of the Lamonds our road, our race to your by basis, voice victory. And we're very proud of it. We put poof a lot of time and effort, and right now we have a massive introductory offer on it. And you can find that in the show notes, or just go to James fantastic.com.  As I said earlier  I think the main setup here is that I've been becoming a more pliable person or as it says, somewhere in the scripture he is the Potter and I am the clay. And   I'm doing my best to follow the suggestions of my source of inspiration. So let's get right into indecisions indecisiveness. Precisely is what we're talking about in today's monetize your voice podcast.  And I go to, when I do this, I like to go to the source, which is a Webster's dictionary. And I believe that all of us have indecisiveness to one degree, we are another, so Webster says this. The definition of decisiveness is not settling an issue, letting it drag on and on a person not having or showing the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively is a little bit like beating around the Bush. Let's get to the subject.   We all have the backstory deal, but what's the forefront. What is the subject of what we're talking about today? Of course, it's indecisiveness. I was giving you some backstory because I haven't been around for 18 months. Anywho indecisiveness?    One of the terms I liked to use is comparison display. And my Goddaughter Melia educated me on this and comparison, despair can go in many directions from my point of view. And it has to do with judgment as a do with envy. It has to do with jealousy, but it also has to new with comparison, despair ourselves one of the things is what if and we're going to do a whole pat podcast on the water theory by the comparison, despair to my self as been well, will I ever be as good as Hey friends are James fantastic. Jumping back in here for a quick. Are you looking to go to the next level of your life right now? Your new horizon of abundance success, joy fulfillment. You already know that you need to be able to voice your feelings, your desires with great confidence, clarity, controlling. Yes, you can become a competent communicator and lead a happy fulfilled, and content life while Golda James fantastic.com. Right now, give yourself the tools you need to grow and glow. Each one of us is at our happiest state. When we choose to create and contribute, let your voice be heard around the world with great clarity and glee by being the best communicator you can be. Join our family@jamesfantastic.com today. And now let's get back to the show. now I have been blessed over the last four years to study as some of the major players in life coaching.  Public speaking arena. I first started with Mary Morrissey. It was divinity. I never heard of Mary Morrissey and she's been, this is her life work and we're very close in age. She's younger than I am. And you can tell that when you look at her also  I studied with Brendan Bouchard, who is a world-known and  With Roger Love one of the best voice teachers in the world. I've also studied with Zig Ziglar and numerous other  Gurus of course Zig has passed.  Man, I don't know. It's probably 12, 15 years ago and his son is running the company and a lot of great material from Zig when he was out at his whole life and just a great guy. So the other aspect that I think on indecisiveness has to do with our lack of focus. And I've got a perfect example to share with you. When I was writing this podcast in between I was texting my youngest nephew. He and his brother have had co quarries in Northern Northeastern, Pennsylvania, and they're in the bluestone business, which is gorgeous. And I have a project going here. I'm building a fire pit and some other things in the backyard. And of course, they're supplying their gorgeous stone, so we're back and forth and that in between the other things. And so it's just another form of lack of focus. It takes our energy. And of course, it just does. It's taken me a long time to get to this point right now recording this podcast. So think about that. How focused are you? I got it straight out by fedora here for the folks that are on the video side of things. The other part of indecisive. Is what I used to call the Y in the road. Okay.  Now I call it the four-prong fork in the road, because up until now, when I only had the Y, when I got there, I said is it yes or no? Or do I go right or left? But through my studying, I realized that there it's a minimum of four-prong, a fork in the road. Okay, so we can go,  we can go left. We can stay right where we're at, or we can do a 180-degree turn or U-turn. Okay.     Then, indecisiveness,  w  what we need to do is do the best we can with what we have and where we are. And that's just where it is, do what we can with what we have from where we are and move forward. we@jamesfantastic.com. We call it taking the next step. Then, there is nothing worse than being frozen within decisiveness. Decide with the information you have as best as you can, and it can be altered. Now I'll give you a perfect aspect of growth in this aspect. So yesterday I had a massage and I have been  I don't want to use the word suffering, but I have been somewhat agitated with a thing called trigger finger. And what this does is your fingers lock now. I've had the opportunity to grow with this. Cause I have a trigger finger on both hands and they are both on my ring fingers and this is very painful, especially when they lock. And it's gotten to a point now that I have to use the other hand to unlock any figure finger that freezes. So we've been working on this and identifying this and I've been doing all sorts of exercises, but yesterday the massage therapist talked to a colleague who gave her some other ideas and suggestions, and they were amazing.  My trigger fingers feel at least 50% better today. So you see, she was doing the best she could do. But she knew where we were. We needed to have other information to move to a different setup. So that's the why, or as it's now the four-prong fork in the road I've had my indecisiveness. Yeah. Yeah. Here I am. In my eighth decade. Most of my decisiveness does come with this particular project. So I'm saying. How many people do I want to hire? How much growth do I want to have? That's why I did those three days of scaling it.   I've been in business my whole life  I've run mid-level six-figure companies for decades, and I know the involvement of management, so I'm saying to myself, okay where do I want to go?  What is my level of commitment? And of course, on top of all this indecisiveness are the old paradigms. And up until now, one of the major old paradigms I'd have been as been kicking my butt. Is this Mr. Fantastic. You don't have to do this.  My goodness, Mr. Fantastic. You're in your eighth decade. Look at the success you've had in life by the age of 27. Mr. Fantastic. You put your first radio station on the air and a mere eight and a half years before that, the only thing you knew about radio was turning it on and changing the dial, which is all fantastic. It was all factual. Okay.  With my willingness to be pliable for my willingness to allow, my creator, to mold me. All right. We are in this situation where, Hey you know, Mr. Fantastic. You do need to do this. If you are intending. To serve in the best possible way, your creator. And so I now realize this and I am now having a greater amount of joy because  I have asked that paradigm to retire have retired. Thank the paradigm for its services, but services are no longer needed. The number one thing within decisiveness is to make the decision, make that decision. Okay. Take the next step. Take the next step. If all of us are going to come to the four fork prong, the four-pronged fork in the road, say that fast about 18 times the four-pronged fork in the road. Yeah.  It applies to all of us. How well do we manage and adapt? That's where we're at managing and adapting. Zig Ziglar has this great quote. I love that dude. He says you don't have to be great to start, but yeah, God starts to be great. Which@jamesfantastic.com. We just paraphrase that, take the next step, take the next step. So I think another aspect hereof indecisiveness is something that I was given about a week ago, and that is now newness is priceless. Now newness is pricing. And I want to back that up with a scripture that addresses this it's from  Matthew 6 34. Okay. And it says, therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient. For the day is his trouble. And that's why in, in the Christ teaching, he always talked about being here, being in the moment don't be anxious about tomorrow.  Then, what-ifs of tomorrow, they may never happen. I just ran into a neighbor that is in his mid-eighties and has just had a  when he called them things  Pacemaker. I was going to call it a heart monitor. What is a pacemaker? He's riding around on a battery-operated scooter right now for his recovery. And he was saying to me the cardiologist doesn't know if he's going to be able to drive again. And so he was focusing on not being able to drive on a sit-down. No, wait, no, wait, Ron, you don't know that.  That a Dr. May just as easily say to you. Yeah, baby, you are in great shape. Hit the road, Jack, get back out there. And he looked at me, you say, because he didn't look from my perspective at the full picture, only looked at part of it. He was only looking at one side of the coin and all coins have two sides. Last time I checked any out. So there you have. The backup about now, newness is priceless. It goes back to focus and all those great things. So let's work on that. I want to say thank you very much for being with us here at the monetize, your voice podcast.
