Join us on a journey where agricultural innovation meets fire safety, as we uncover the groundbreaking work of Dave Garley from Cross Plains Solutions. Discover how soy foam, an eco-friendly, biodegradable alternative to hazardous firefighting foams, is revolutionizing the industry. With insights from seasoned firefighter Chris Prock, we explore the transition of this innovative foam into real-world application, particularly within rural fire departments across the United States. Uncover the rigorous development process of soy foam, a collaboration with Chippewa Valley Technical College, which ensured the foam met the highest standards and received crucial certification. Dave Garley reveals the partnership's impact on refining the foam, leveraging feedback from frontline firefighters. This advancement not only promises enhanced fire safety in rural areas but also piques interest for applications in broader markets, such as the Department of Defense, signifying a monumental leap in firefighting technology.Highlighting the foam's successful demonstration at the Big Iron event, we discuss how community support and strategic distribution, led by Alan Snipes and backed by the Soybean Council, are propelling soy foam into widespread use. Fire departments are eagerly testing this environmentally friendly solution, appreciating its ability to conserve water and reduce the need for hazardous material response teams. Soy foam is not just a product; it's a movement towards safer firefighting and sustainable agricultural practices.Follow at www.americalandauctioneer.com and on Instagram & FacebookContact the team at Pifer's

Along the way, I'll share my interpretation of what this song means and why it still resonates today.A big shoutout to Rachel Crick for her amazing fiddle performance in the intro and to Jeremy King for the rest of the music that sets the tone for this episode as always. As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the episode—feel free to reach out with any questions or feedback at Ofthesteelguitar37@outlook.com."Of emotions, of love, of breakup, of love and hate and death and dying, mama, apple pie, and the whole thing. Justin was out last week, so we've pulled this from deep in the archives buried in the back of the TCBCast salt mines: Gurdip and Justin's 2022 review of Pat Boone's landmark 1963 Elvis tribute record "Pat Boone Sings Guess Who?" No, we're not joking! This may be the most we're ever gonna talk about Pat Boone at one time so we crammed in a few of his other hits into the discussion on top of this... album? Experience? Prank? It's the project that got Boone inducted into Colonel Parker's Snowmen's League of America and features arrangements by credible jazz pianist Paul Smith. Part spoof, part homage... if you can only say one thing, well you can't say that Pat Boone was never in on the joke! Then, from the July 2022 edition of TCBCast Now, Justin heads west for our "Song of the Month" segment, selecting Marty Robbins' iconic 1959 showdown ballad "Big Iron," while Gurdip was inspired to pick Englebert Humperdinck's sweeping 1968 recording "A Man Without Love" by a recent movie viewing. Both songs Elvis was likely to have been familiar with, released during his lifetime from contemporaries! Next week on TCBCast, we'll be bringing our first impressions of the "Memphis" box set which releases THIS FRIDAY, August 9 - plus EAP Society co-host John Michael Heath will be joining in for a special episode about the history of Memphis' music industry. If you like this kind of content, you can hear more bonus content just like this that we do for our supporters over at Patreon.com/TCBCast. We kindly thank all our Patreon backers - your support allows us to continue to provide thoughtful, provocative, challenging and well-researched perspectives on Elvis's career, his peers and influences, and his cultural impact and legacy!

Farm data drives your ability to leverage sustainability insights. And farm equipment drives your ability to collect data. So it's fortunate, then, that the agriculture equipment manufacturing industry is embracing the challenge, pioneering new technologies and advocating for policies that support sustainable ag in North America and around the world. In this episode, we'll meet an important leader of this conversation, Curt Blades, the Senior Vice President of Industry Sectors and Product Leadership at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. AEM represents more than 1,000 companies in North America that build and support agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility equipment. And since he joined the association leadership team eight years ago, Curt says there has been a shift in the way that the industry talks about sustainability. In this episode, we'll discuss why that shift has happened, what it means and how it benefits growers. Plus, we'll talk about how AEM is helping growers tell their sustainability story and advocating for policies that will support sustainable ag for years to come.

Brandon Dent is a vintage seller, independent clothing designer and barista from Georgia. I met Brandon at Colbo working their coffee program but I knew there was something more. Brandon had a vintage pop up in the gallery space of Colbo for his vintage company, Big Iron vintage along with his friend Adam from Condemned Clothing. Brandon was also selling cut & sew pieces that he bespoke at home called Grant. I tried on a few pieces and they were a perfect fit. I'm not one for color since it's outside of my comfort zone but in another life it would have been mine.
