Tony Caridi joins Dave Weekley moments after West Virginia's College World Series run ends with a 12-7 loss to North Carolina, reflecting on what he calls one of the most magical seasons in Mountaineer sports history. Caridi credits head coach Steve Sabens' rise — strongly recommended by predecessor Randy Mazey — and the program's new biomechanics center for fueling a strong incoming recruiting class, along with WVU's recent move to fully fund scholarships across non-revenue sports. The two also discuss the resolution of the Brendan Sorsby eligibility dispute with Texas Tech, including how a letter from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton may have forced the Big 12's hand, and the lingering tension it could create within the conference.
Tony Caridi joins Dave Weekley on Hotline to recap West Virginia's busy week in both basketball and football. The two break down the Mountaineers' opening hoops win over Mount St. Mary's, the team's shortened rotation under Coach Ross Hodge, and the early emergence of Jasper Floyd as a backcourt leader. They also preview Saturday's football matchup against Colorado, where freshman QB Scotty Fox faces off against five-star phenom Julian “Juju” Lewis, and react to the Big 12 landing three teams in the top 13 of the first CFP rankings
Tony Caridi joins Dave Weekly on Hotline to break down what West Virginia needs to do to upset UCF — from finding rhythm on offense to winning the special teams battle. The veteran broadcaster also weighs in on the mounting pressures of college coaching, Pitt's stadium controversy, WVU's unique baseball schedule stop in Hagerstown, and the shifting Big 12 TV landscape as networks like Peacock and Fox take a bigger role in college basketball coverage
Veteran broadcaster Tony Caridi joins MetroNews Hotline with Dave Weekly to break down West Virginia's midseason outlook during the Mountaineers' bye week. Tony offers insight into potential lineup changes, how NIL and the transfer portal have reshaped coaching decisions, and why BYU's home-field advantage ranks among the best in the Big 12. The conversation also hits on Cincinnati's surprise rise, Big 12 expansion with TNT's broadcast deal, and a mysterious WVU athletic announcement set to make waves.
In this energizing episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Avik chats with Alessa Caridi, founder of JobuFIT and certified Pilates instructor, about breaking the myth that a weekly workout is enough. They explore how micro-movements throughout the day can prevent burnout, improve focus, and combat desk-induced body pain. Alessa introduces her “50-10 ratio” for integrating mindful movement into the workday and shares a powerful 3-step posture check that instantly re-centers the body and brain. It's a call to reclaim your physical health—without disrupting your workflow. About the Guest:Alessa Caridi is the founder of JobuFIT, author of The Ultimate Workspace Toolkit, and a globally recognized wellness speaker.
