Fans of Steven Moffat and David Nutter would be quick to point out that the two are no strangers to a good bit of time travel, being creatives behind great episodes of “Doctor Who” and “The Flash,” but their new series, “The Time Traveler's Wife” is a whole new proverbial ball of time-slipping wax. The new series follows a love story between two characters, Henry DeTamble (Theo James) and Claire Abshire (Rose Leslie), with one small hitch: Henry involuntarily slips through time and meets Claire again and again throughout her life. The show premiered this past weekend on HBO Max and will contain six episodes. Director David Nutter and writer Steven Moffat stopped by the Bingeworthy Podcast to chat about bringing the popular book to the screen as a series rather than another film adaptation. This week we are bundling up in our parkas and flannels and thermal blankets to dig into “Ice”! We have a lot of fun with this one, giving love to director David Nutter, discussing how to have cool and informational last words, mourning the passing of Surfer Bro, legislating the intent to maul, ogling sexy Infection Inspections, and freaking out over how gross tapeworms are. Blazer Watch is thriving this week, and so are guys named Bear. We also spend a lot of time talking about The Thing for some reason, and most importantly of all, come up with a truly criminal number of ice puns. Sorry.Special note: We had some audio issues with this episode, so the first few minutes are a bit rough, but it evens out after that. And please excuse the banging in the background, our walls are thinner than the skin of an onion. We did our best to minimize it.Send us an email at scullynationpod@gmail.com or follow us on Twitter and Instagram!

It's season 5 finale time and boy howdy is there a lot happening. It's rare in this show that so many key character arcs settle into satisfying conclusions at the end of a season that it's almost like the showrunners ran out of books to adapt... Anyway, Stannis will not be attending this year's father-daughter dinner and neither will Jaime for that matter. Elsewhere, Cersei takes a walk, Dany goes for a ride, and Jon takes a nap.

It's the iconic crimson-soaked finale of Season 3 of Game of Thrones with betrayals aplenty.
