As we speak with guest speakers and discuss our own experiences with the virtual and hybrid event industry, we will be going through the challenges you may face along the way and how to overcome these. With the current situation, the rise and requirement for virtual and hybrid events are definitely on the rise - have you made the move yet? Listen to our live podcast every week on our Facebook page, or you can listen to the podcast version to find out how you can make your online events simple. In this episode, we're joined with Sabrina Meyers, Founder of Hot Hosptaility Exchange. Sabrina is an event planner, social media strategist and industry vlogger. Founder of her brand, Hot Hospitality Exchange and soon to launch online training academy working with individuals, suppliers and brands in the event industry on how to optimise their online presence and visibility through social media. Sabrina discusses the importance of having a social media strategy and how it can make you visible when organising events and promoting your personal brand. We discuss how to become more visible on your social platforms and why you shouldn't just upload any contact to all of your socials. Consistency is a massive theme of this podcast and we talk about why, being in marketing, it is so important to be consistent with your brand. How Sabrina started up in the industry (01:18) how virtual audiences engage through videos (07.32) what the algorithm means for social media and how to keep it up (12:33) how to start a social media strategy (17.30) how you can schedule posts to save time and stay consistent (21.19) think about your audience vs your content (24.00) EVENTMIND is a market leader in the virtual meetings and events sector. EVENTMIND provides training, consultancy and delivery for businesses looking to engage virtually with their audience and community. You can give us an email on team@eventmindpro.com or alternatively call us on 0330 133 3485. EventMind does not endorse any particular virtual event platform or software. We review the platforms available on the market monthly (through a combination of client feedback, test events and demos). There's no platform which is an ‘all in one' or ‘all inclusive' solution when it comes to virtual event platforms. Bear in mind, most virtual event platforms were originally live event apps or software. Covid19 accelerated many platforms to pivot into creating virtual event solutions. In the long run, this seems to be a smart move as hybrid events are likely to become standard (especially if you understand how to monetize hybrid events and maximise global audience reach).

As a traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor & Acupuncturist, with recent certification in Hypnotherapy, she has much wisdom to share about healing, cultivating self-love, and creating a safe space for healing and connection. She talks about the common issues of libido and fertility that she sees, the messages our body sends us through menopause, and what true heart connection means. What You'll Hear in This Episode: Sabrina's journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hypnosis and Acupuncture, and why she realized she needed to first heal herself before she treated others. Why there continues to be so much shame and secrecy still surrounding sexual well being in our conversations, and how Sabrina has pledged to be a resource of safety and knowledge. The intense findings Sabrina experienced when she went on our own healing journey, and how it brought her a deepened intimacy with her husband. The two most common challenges Sabrina hears from women: low or no libido and challenges with fertility. The beautiful way our body communicates with us, and how we can listen in and experience connection. The “O” word. Why we should embrace it, learn about our own pleasure and enjoy it regularly. Sabrina's use of hypnosis to heal her own health issues and get herself in a space to receive pleasure. What true heart connection means, and how we can drop down from our head into our heart. How women can create a loving and nurturing space for the men in their life. How Sabrina responds to people that challenge her work and doubt the validity of her practices.   The amazing way our cells respond to different type of treatments when we embrace ourselves fully despite our perceived flaws and shortcomings. Sabrina's use of sound healing, herbs, and acupuncture in her practice. What stress truly is, and what it sets off in our body. The importance of a support system and a connection to something higher than yourself. What healthy menopause looks like, and how women can honor this time instead of fighting against it. Quotes: “A lot of sex has nothing to do with sex.” “I had to start with myself, or I would feel like a fraud otherwise.” “Courage can just catapult us.” “Your body will always let you know how far away from love you are.” “I want to get to know my body, and get a deep relationship with it.” “You can't be in your heart without actually loving yourself.” “As we get older, we can look forward to our wisdom and what we can provide.” Mentioned: Sabrina Souto Journey Into the Inner Circle: Carrie Doll @CarrieADoll – Twitter @carriedollconsulting – Instagram Carrie Doll – Facebook Please rate, review and follow the podcast!
