In ainneoin cáineadh forleathan ón bpobal idirnáisiúnta, níor cheadaigh Iosrael ach naoi leoraí cúnaimh isteach i nGaza, cé go bhfuil níos mó ná 2.3 milliún duine ocrach le beagnach trí mhí. I dteachtaireacht físe ar na meáin shóisialta, dúirt Príomh-aire Iosrael, Benjamin Netanyahu, go bhfuil Iosrael chun smacht a fháil ar Gaza ar fad. Mar gheall ar an ngéarchéim atá ag dul in olcas, cháin Príomh-aire na Ríochta Aontaithe, Keir Starmer, Iosrael agus é ag labhairt os comhair na parlaiminte níos luaithe sa tseachtain. Bíodh sin mar atá, sheachain sé úsáid a bhaint as na focail ‘glanadh eitneach' nó ‘cinedhíothú', agus níor gheall sé ach oiread go stopfadh sé ag díol arm le hIosrael.Tá fáilte curtha ag Gaeilgeoirí i dTuaisceart na hÉireann roimh an gcinneadh tuairim is 100 comhartha dhátheangacha a chur suas i gContae an Dúin agus i gContae Ard Mhacha. Our latest guest for our podcast that celebrates all things live music, is the singer/songwriter/musician, and 20% of the Gates Of Light collaboration - Louise Quinn. Louise has a very eclectic music taste which comes through in her recollections. From her first gig going to see The Stranglers ( as a goth), to having a romantic gig date at the Reading Festival watching Gay Bikers On Acid, (!) to watching the Pixies stage collapse in Glasgow - its all good stuff. Louise also took in gigs in New York, New Orleans and Serbia along the way ( her band were big in Serbia!) - and is adamant that the Sub Club in Glasgow is better than any in NYC. Lou Reed is her favourite gig recollection - and Joni Mitchell remains her number 1 bucket gig wish. It was great fun doing this with Louise - hope you enjoy it too. Stay safe.
