Our latest guest for our podcast that celebrates all things live music, is the singer/songwriter/musician, and 20% of the Gates Of Light collaboration - Louise Quinn. Louise has a very eclectic music taste which comes through in her recollections. From her first gig going to see The Stranglers ( as a goth), to having a romantic gig date at the Reading Festival watching Gay Bikers On Acid, (!) to watching the Pixies stage collapse in Glasgow - its all good stuff. Louise also took in gigs in New York, New Orleans and Serbia along the way ( her band were big in Serbia!) - and is adamant that the Sub Club in Glasgow is better than any in NYC. Lou Reed is her favourite gig recollection - and Joni Mitchell remains her number 1 bucket gig wish. It was great fun doing this with Louise - hope you enjoy it too. Stay safe.

We hear from Galway's Emma Ridge, Michelle Cotter from Clare speaking Finnish, Meadbh Murray on pride in the jersey, as well as Louise Quinn's friends and former team-mates Vaila Barsely and Annica Barsley, who as Annica Svensson played for Sweden on that hallowed turf, before, during and after the Sweden game. All with thanks to Wirströms Pub - Sweden's finest Irish bar.
As Ireland take on Sweden in Gothenburg, former Eskilstuna defender Louise Quinn joins the podcast to talk about playing here, selling tickets in the rain and learning the language, and another brilliant footballer Alex Orphanides tells us what you can expect from the language courses at Folkuniversitetet. The OneFootball podcast returns once again to take a look at women’s football across Europe. This week Angelina Kelly is joined by Her Football Hub's Drew Diamond and Megan Hughes. First up it's the Primera Iberdrola, and despite Barcelona sitting pretty at the top of the table with a nine-point lead, things are really heating up in the race for the two other Champions League spots. Over the weekend Real Madrid lost out on solidifying their position in third place after suffering a defeat at the hands of Levante, who have had a great season so far. Over in the Women's Super League, Arsenal got an important win over Manchester United in a dramatic game as both teams compete in the race for the third spot in the league. In addition there was reaction to the historic broadcast rights deal in England that was announced this week, which means that from next season WSL games will be shown live across the BBC and Sky. Then to Germany where there were some big games in the DFB Pokal including a surprisingly subdued victory for Bayern Munich and wins for Wolfsburg, Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt. And finally instead of a hot topic this week, Angelina spoke to Fiorentina and Ireland centre-back Louise Quinn to talk about her impressive career that has seen her play in Sweden, Ireland, England and now Italy, how she has found living in Florence, and the struggles that female footballers can sometimes face.
