The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Cody McDevitt. A White Man and award winning journalist, McDevitt is a Pennsylvania resident and the founder of the Rosedale Oral History Project. Last week, Gus T. spoke with Dr. Emily Leib last week, and she told us that her White grandparents are Beaver County residents. Gus checked immediately, and, of course, Beaver County is a Racially Restricted Region of western Pennsylvania - which Dr. Leib seemed to already know. Upon further investigation, Gus found out that Racists purged a group of black people from this region in 1933. A tad south, Racists in Johnstown also kicked out their population of dark people a decade earlier. McDevitt penned Banished from Johnstown: Racist Backlash in Pennsylvania. This book reveals much about the System of White Supremacy and what it means to be classified as White. Interestingly, so called Mexicans were also told to “beat it” along with the niggras. However, there was intervention on their behalf that was not extended to black people. Pay particular attention to Mr. McDevitt's response to Gus's definition of Racism and his constant references to other non-white people's books and views on Racism. This includes Isabel Wilkerson's abomination Caste (#2ndWorstBookEver). #BlackGetBack #RaciallyRestrictedRegions INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

Over the past decade, the term rotator cuff–related shoulder pain (RCRSP) has gained traction as a more accurate, patient-centered way to describe shoulder pain. In this episode, Dr Amy McDevitt (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, University of Colorado) joins Dan Chapman and Marquis Sanabrais to unpack why shifting from structural labels like impingement or tendinopathy toward RCRSP can improve both communication and care. They discuss how imaging often fails to match symptoms, why language matters for patient engagement, and how clinicians can explain shoulder pain without over-pathologizing. Take home messages: 1. RCRSP reflects the multifactorial nature of shoulder pain, biological, mechanical, and psychosocial. 2. Clear and non-anatomic terminology helps patients understand and buy into treatment. 3. Future research should clarify mechanisms behind exercise and refine subgroups within RCRSP. ------------------------------ RESOURCES The case for using "rotator cuff-related shoulder pain" in practice: https://www.jospt.org/doi/10.2519/jospt.2025.13405

Sarah spent 16 years in agency land before joining the "dark side" (her words) at HubSpot seven years ago, so she knows both sides of the partner equation intimately. We explore why the best partners stop being platform experts and start being business growth experts. Sarah reveals how HubSpot uses AI internally to democratize partner feedback, the real reason behind their partner program changes, and why selling AI without fixing data structure first will be your downfall. If you're a consultant partnering with any SaaS platform—or considering it—this conversation will change how you think about your role. Stop reading the toaster manual to clients. Start asking better questions about their actual business problems.About Sarah McDevittSarah Stone McDevitt is a Radio broadcasting graduate who spent the early part of her career in local radio before moving into agency life.
