How Micah got into web3He went from buying some Etherium to dedicating his life to web3 in the last few years. He found himself with a lot of extra time on his hands during the pandemic, and he realized that blockchain is one of the most important pieces of technology that he could be working on. About Micah's work with Opolis Micah wanted to contribute at Oplis because of his experience in the employee benefits space. Opolis was the place where he felt he could do his best work on the blockchain. Opolis acts like an employer for people working in the blockchain, paying taxes and running payroll, helping people manage their independent contracting work. Common growing pains for new DAOsNew DAOs experience massive turnover. That's not because of you, that's because people are busy. So it's important to set really clear goals and break them down and get them onto the calendar. Common challenges as DAOs start to grow There are so many open bounties that never get responded to in DAOs. If your DAO is not filling tasks, then you need to start building a development team and set up monthly planning sessions to make sure the tasks are being allocated and the goals are being met. Favorite tools for DAOsSobol is a great tool for mapping out the different roles within a DAO. Advice for someone who wants to start a DAOFigure out what you are actually doing. Anything can be done with a DAO. There is a DAO specially made for people named Dave! But remember that you will never decentralize everything.
