In episode 244 we are joined by Paul Gibbs, founder of Pais Movement to talk about what it looks like to live a life on a Kingdom-centric mission the way Jesus modeled it. You've heard the slogan "What Would Jesus Do?". But Paul thinks it may be better to ask, "What did Jesus do?", and then go and do likewise. Paul Clayton Gibbs is the Founder and Global Director of Pais Movement, he has planted and repurposed churches in both the UK and the USA. He travels globally providing consultancy and training to leaders. Paul is the author of several books including; ‘Talmidim – How To Disciple Anyone In Anything'. Pais Movement exists "To spark a movement where the primary mission of every Christian is to advance the Kingdom of God in the way Jesus modeled it." "Have you noticed there are two types of Christianity? While the Christian-centric gospel prioritizes personal transformation, the Kingdom-centric gospel compels us to transform our world. Both are Christianity, but one represents the kind of religion Jesus witnessed and the other, the kind He wanted. In his latest book, Kingdom Centric: Reframing Christianity, Paul Clayton Gibbs guides you through a series of awkward questions to help align your thoughts and practices to God's true purpose for your life. When God's people return to who He created us to be and lead others to do the same, we give God what He wants: His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven. Take the free appraisal to discover how Kingdom-centric you are, and then use the ten ‘pivots' in this book to revolutionize your relationship with God. If you have ever questioned whether the Christianity you experience is what Jesus had in mind, you will find this book revolutionary, practical, and full of insights that make sense." In this thought-provoking sermon, Pat challenges the conventional Christian mindset of pursuing our own visions with God's help (Christian-centric) and calls for a radical shift towards wholeheartedly pursuing God's vision and agenda (Kingdom-centric). Drawing insights from the book "The Kingdom Centric Life" by Paul Gibbs, the sermon emphasises the need for Christians to move beyond merely attending church services to actively participating in the Great Commission of making disciples and planting churches. Pat outlines practical steps Kenmore Church is taking, such as launching Alpha courses, equipping missional communities, and training church planters, to facilitate this Kingdom-centric transformation. | Scripture | Matthew 6:33 Matthew 28:19-20
Paul Gibbs, founder of PAIS Movement for youth evangelism and discipleship shares his testimony of coming to faith and being healed of eczema as a teenager. He calls us to examine whether our faith is "Christian-centric" or truly "Kingdom-centric". Are you more focused on your own salvation and blessings? Or does your heart beat for God's greater plans of redemption, justice, and making all things right in Christ? Let this message inspire you toward a Kingdom vision as you follow Jesus daily.

This year was the second Colt 45 Trail Run over at Colt Creek State Park put on by A1 Ultra Events! Perfect weather, fantastic community, wonderful aid stations, and so much more! On chat we've got Mac Jackson, Paul Gibbs, and Walter Estrada. Mac is new into the ultra-world with his first ultra being at the JW Corbett 50k back in April of this year. He then went on to give the ole Trident a shot and was rewarded with a sweet DNF (Thanks Mikey) but have no worries... he came out to the Colt 45 and crushed it on his way to train up for the Long Haul 100! Paul, also relatively new into ultra-world, came out to the Colt 45 and got his finish with a time of 12:06:22! Somewhere around mile 34-35 Paul had slowed down and was struggling to hit a 25 minute mile. Miles 35-39 were probably one of the worst low points he has ever had during a race. Not to spoil the story, it's his to tell in the episode, but he got back out there on the course to get to that finish!! Walter has been out to the Colt 45 before running the race last year for the inaugural event! This year he crossed that finish line with a time of 10:22:13. He's done races like the Long Haul 100, but also the Long Haul 100k and 50 miler! He's also done the Gate2Gate 50k, Iron Horse 100k, Palm Bluff, and the Long Play. The Colt 45 Trail Run features the beautiful trails in Colt Creek State Park. Runners will travel through "longleaf pine flatwoods, thick cypress domes, and open vistas.

Here we are with Part Two of the Stories from the Skunk Ape Night Run! This time we've got Paul Gibbs, Greg Burnham, Gary James, and Noel Medina! This year Noel Medina made it out with a last-minute decision on race day, he went on to place second overall behind Kalo Axsom! Paul Gibbs has done the Skunk Ape Night Run before, and this time is crushed it going 3:55:50 from last year's 4:38:58! As for Gary and Greg, this was there furthest trail run distance to date and these guys absolutely crushed it! This is a classic Florida race that covers almost all of the terrains Florida has to offer. From pasture lanes, mud, dirt roads, single track trails on the Florida Trail, some hills, to sugar sand, fire berms, and more! As the sun goes down, that's when the wildlife kicks off. You can hear the drone of frogs from all over, hoots from the owls, calls from birds, buzzing of bugs, and the yips of coyotes in the distance. Part of that sound and also silence, it will make you wonder if “just that sound” was from something else... perhaps, the Skunk Ape.

Getting to carbon net-zero will require using fossil fuels until technology can make renewables cost-effective. The biggest negative to oil and gas is the methane leaks from the storage tanks and the tank batteries. What if there was a solution that could take the methane from any sized tank in the United States, and turn it into a low-cost revenue stream by ESG Bitcoin mining? And what if the same technology could provide a fire suppression system for those same tanks that would save lives and the environment? Sound too good to be true, well we talk with Paul Gibbs, Owner/Inventor/ Managing Partner at Xtreme Tank Technologies, and discovered it is a patented system and ready to install.Listen to the podcast, watch the YouTube Video, and connect with Paul on his LinkedIn to get more information about the technology that could impact reducing methane in the United States in the most cost-effective method.Paul Gibbs LinkedInExtreme Tank Technologies website: xtremetanktechnologies.com

First up is Gary Roberts and Francis Joseph - a footballing double act if ever there is one. Theres two guys were hilarious. Forming a lethal striking partnership back in the 80s playing in the team with the killer midfield of Stan Bowles, Terry Hurlock and Chris Kamara, you could see that the Roberts/Joseph bond was still there 30 years later. They had the audience in stitches - cracking joke after joke. Gary Roberts claimed that he had invented the Cruyff turn - years before the master of the Cruyff turn Johan Cryff had actually coined the phrase. Francis Joseph told the audience how he was ‘tapped up' (allegedly) by Brentford in the bar after a match at Griffin Park after just destroying The Bees - scoring two goals in Wimbledon's comeback which saw them win 3-2 after being 2-0 down at half time. They talk about Stan Bowles' dodgy entourage - some sort of West London mafia. Three months later he was playing football down at Griffin Park With the summer fast approaching, 90 Brentford fans joined the Dave Lane and Billy Grant from Beesotted and a bunch of Brentford legends - Gary Roberts, Francis Joseph, Billy Manuel & Graham Benstead - at the fabulous Drayton Court Hotel in Ealing to see the season off in style at their end of season Pride of West London Bees-Up. It's FA Cup 4th round weekend and we have a BUMPER FA Cup special podcast as Brentford go to Stamford Bridge with the hope of miraculously kicking Chelsea out the cup tis season. So the Beesotted crew scrubbed themselves up and made their way down to The Banker in Cousins Lane - just under Cannon Street Station - to impress their Chelsea guests who apparently wear purple ties and diamond rings in their eyes to football matches. This episode we welcome the Garry Hayes from the Chelsea Podcast as we chat transfer window - and how the current one month window does no one any favours except agents and Sky; We discuss Brentford's latest signing - Florian Jozefoom from PSV Eindhoven - and regularly update the podcast with the latest news from his medical which was taking place at the time of recording - with kabbaddi being the most bizarre task that he had to carry out to prove his fitness. We talk Chelsea and Brentford emerging young talent on the back of the recent Brentford article on the success of the B team. What is the path to the first team from youth football? Plus Liberal Nick is not happy with half and half scarves and - very un-liberal-like - wants people wearing them banned. We also chat to ex-Brentford player Scott Barron who gives us the lowdown on what went down in the dressing room the last time we met Chelsea in the cup. Ex-Brentford players Richard Cadette, Carl Hutchings and Paul Gibbs joined Bees fans for a night of tales, jokes and ales-a-plenty at the Fullers Brewery in Chiswick for Beesotted's First Ever Bees-Up In The Brewery. And there were all sorts of tales told on the night - from Richard Cadette's thoughts on his FA Cup Quarter Final miss against Liverpool .. to Dave Webb sacking the whole team at half time .. to Paul Gibbs' touching on his time going out with Soccer AM's Helen Chamberlain. After losing to Norwich 5-0, there was a hell of a lot to discuss as the Beesotted crew met in The Madhatter Hotel in Stamford St near The South Bank just South of the River. Brentford fans at the Norwich match were clearly angry with the team's display and lack of action then to rectify a team that was failing to pump on all cylinders - never mind one. They discussed the team's display, why we were so impotent, whether we were lacking in experience and leadership, had Smith lost the dressing room or were the players just not playing for the shirt. Also, with the heated discussions in the dressing room after the match, did we have another ‘Stevenage moment' - a replica of the moment when Brentford lost to bottom of the table Stevenage and had a 90 minute heated exchange in the dressing room .. a moment in time that turned then manager Uwe Rosler's season around from hanging n a thread to unbeaten run? We also discussed the rumours of Danish Coach Thomas Frank who was touted by Danish media to be joining Brentford's coaching staff imminently. Pls there was the £400k price tag put on John Egan - a bargain at half the price was the common consensus. With the prospect of Danel Bentley's tribunal settling for £750k or so, is our ‘bargaining hunting' paying off? Does the scouting team always get it right? In the pub: Billy Grant Dave Lane Liberal Nick Carthew Matt The Allard Allard Lord Lou Can Boyd 0m - intro 6m 05 sec - Fans in the pub after Norwich match 11m 17 sec - Beesotted crew discuss Norwich match, Dean Smith plus the team reaction to the loss 37m 32 sec - Danish coach Thomas Frank has been touted to have signed a deal to join Brentford. Is this feasible? If so, where will he fit in? 51m 51 sec - John Egan's price was decided at £400k by a tribunal. The Beesotted crew looked at Brentford's transfer activity - are we getting value for money? And looked forward to the January window. 1h 07min 24 sec- Beesotted crew look forward to the Burton match 1h 13 m 0 sec - END Christmas Bees-Up in the Brewery with Richard Cadette, Carl Hutchings and Paul Gibbs - http://bit.ly/2grOw8F #BrentfordFC #bafc
Brentford look to put the disappointing result up at Blackburn behind them where the giants of the North West had their game plan totally sorted at the weekend - battering the Bees with high balls into the area that they failed to cope with - the Bees losing 3-2 in the end. Bring on Birmingham City. Doing very well in The Championship which should hopefully play in Brentford's favour - the Bees seemingly able to combat the better teams in the league whilst losing to the lower teams. The Beesotted crew linked up at the Tap On the Line pub smack bang in Kew Gardens Station to discuss Jota out of favour at Eibar … Gogia scoring goals for Dynamo Dresden … should they both be coming back to Brentford at a time when we are itching for creativity in our side. are these the last few months of seeing Hogan in red and white stripes? .. plus what does Brentford do in the forthcoming transfer window … plus outgoing B-Team manager Fleming Pederson - who seems to be doing a grand job - is back on the agenda. Is his leaving going to be a massive loss for Brentford where he seems to have knocked the B team into shape big time. In the pub: Billy Grant Dave Lane Martin The Dutchman Holland Mark Croxford 0m - INTRO 10 min 32 sec - Brentford and Blackburn fans after the match 13 min 26 sec - Beesotted crew chat Blackburn, Hogan, Judge, Gogia, creative players, B team, Fleming Pederson leaving plus other stuff 46m 37 sec - Richard Cadette, Carl Hutchings and Paul Gibbs are our guests at the Beesotted Xmas social in Chiswick on Fri 16th Dec (venue capacity limited) 50m 59 sec - Beesotted crew talk Birmingham City 59m 43sec - END #bcfc #brentfordfc
