Lawmakers plan on expanding online privacy protections Yesterday, members of Congress released a proposal that would give consumers broad rights to control how tech companies like Google, Meta, and TikTok use their personal data. This has been a decades-long fight to adopt national online privacy protections. Maura and Leah discuss this sweeping proposal. What’s the one big thing we can do for our kids? Arthur Brooks recently wrote a piece for The Atlantic on the one big thing parents can do for their kids. In this piece, he brought up the concept of nature vs. nurture and research that shows that what parents do actually doesn’t have that much of an impact on kids.
