The Brothers Gillespie officially began in 2018 with their eponymous debut EP. Brothers Aaron, Davis, and Clay began by playing primarily in the bars in their hometown of Waynesville, NC, where they could showcase the songs they had written and scratch their itch to perform. In 2019, the band decided to move operations to Johnson City, TN with the promise that they would give their musical aspirations a year, and if there was more partying than progress, they would give it up and move on. That year, they released their first album, Love & Death. In the time since, the band moved back to NC and has steadily gained momentum playing venues, festivals, and radio stations all across the southeast, as well as continually releasing music, including their second album, American Pastoral, in 2022. The current lineup of The Brothers Gillespie consists of Davis Gillespie (vocals, guitar), Aaron Gillespie (guitar), Clay Gillespie (drums), Chance Kuehn (guitar), and J.R. Williams (bass). They are a homegrown act, birthed in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and consisting of five gritty, soulful individuals that offer a sound steeped in Rock ‘n' Roll and Americana. In 2025, they look to build on their talent and continue expanding their reach and catalogue. An experienced investment broker would advise you to buy Brothers Gillespie stock NOW. And if you don't get the chance to see them when they come to your town, as they love to say at the end of every show, they'll see you down the road.

Send us a textSummertime adventures and ice-cold hazy IPAs collide in this long-awaited return episode where Rick and Princess catch listeners up on their whirlwind summer travels. From a beautiful mountain wedding in North Carolina's Nantahala National Forest (complete with bourbon and cigar bar) to death-defying tubing escapades that sent bodies flying four feet into the air, every story brings the laughs you've been missing. The pair recount their white water rafting experience down the frigid Nantahala River in open kayaks—a decision that led to Rick's memorable description of what happens when 55-degree water hits sensitive body parts. You'll feel like you're right alongside them as they navigate Class 3 rapids and the shock of ice-cold mountain water with nothing but paddle power and questionable decision-making skills. The episode features the ultimate "Battle of the Hazies" as two distinguished IPAs face off for supremacy. Boojum's Blue Ridge Haze from Waynesville, NC brings fruity notes and minimal bitterness to the competition, but can it stand against the surprisingly smooth Double Dry Hopped "Fast Friends" from Derive Brewing in Columbus? The shocking unanimous verdict might have you seeking out these brews for yourself.Between tales of their annual White Rock river trip (where they made the rookie mistake of drinking all their alcohol on night one) and golf course psychological warfare, Rick and Princess deliver the perfect blend of summer adventures and beer appreciation that will leave you laughing and thirsty for more. Emergencies happen, and sometimes at scales that surprise us. We can shrug, or we can invest that sensitivity. That goes for all of us, and our shared stakes in the kind of local governance that can keep vital functions going for communities amid disruptive wildcards like hurricanes or other natural disasters. More than a basic conversation for our cities and towns, it's filled with varying nuance, science and new technologies for better outcomes. Deeply familiar with the subject is Bill Hollingsed, the former Waynesville police chief and current executive director of the , who joins us on this episode to talk through the points. They include what we've learned about our sense of readiness since the fall 2024 devastation from Hurricane Helene, very much on our minds as 2025's hurricane season is soon to begin.
