This podcast episode delves into the intricate complexities of contemporary Christian thought, particularly the insidious encroachment of New Age ideologies within the church. A salient point of discussion emerges concerning the assertion that faith can absolve any actions, regardless of their moral implications, as long as one believes they are acting in faith. This provocative claim initiates a deeper exploration of the theological ramifications of such beliefs and the potential for misinterpretation of scriptural teachings. We engage with the perspectives of both hosts and guests, fostering a dialogue that scrutinizes the intertwining of faith with philosophical constructs not rooted in biblical doctrine. Ultimately, this episode serves as a clarion call to discernment, urging listeners to critically evaluate the spiritual influences permeating modern Christianity.Takeaways: The discussion centers on the controversial idea that faith can absolve immoral actions, such as visiting a prostitute, leading to complex theological implications. The podcast emphasizes the dangers of syncretism, particularly how New Age beliefs have infiltrated Christian practices and teachings. Marcia Martinagro shares her journey from New Age beliefs to Christianity, highlighting the spiritual struggles and realizations she faced along the way. The dialogue raises concerns about contemporary Christian figures, such as Dallas Willard and Richard Foster, whose teachings may blur the lines between biblical truth and mystical practices. Listeners are encouraged to critically assess popular spiritual practices in the church, particularly those that resemble Eastern religions or New Age philosophies. The episode concludes with a call to return to scriptural foundations for understanding prayer and spirituality, contrasting biblical meditation with contemporary contemplative practices. In today's episode, I'm sharing my journey of discovering God's healing power and the incredible experiences I've had at the Global School of Supernatural Ministry. I'm diving into the 5-Step Prayer Model for Healing, offering practical steps, biblical insights, and inspiring personal stories of faith in action. Whether you're new to prayer or a seasoned believer, this episode equips and encourages you to step out in bold faith to see lives transformed. We're covering the 5 steps prayer model:  Step 1: The Interview Ask thoughtful questions to understand the root cause of someone's pain or sickness. Examples include, "When did this start?" and "What is your pain level from 1-10?" Step 2: Prayer Selection Choose between a petition prayer (asking God) or a command prayer (declaring healing in Jesus' name). Step 3: Prayer Ministry Follow the Holy Spirit's lead, share testimonies to build faith, and pray short, intentional prayers while keeping your eyes open for God's work. Step 4: Re-Interview Assess the changes in pain or condition after praying. Continue praying and asking for more healing if needed. Step 5: Post-Prayer Suggestions Encourage recipients to take authority over their healing, follow up with a doctor, and pay it forward by praying for others.   (If you're listening on a podcast app, be sure to also check out the video of this episode, which includes a full presentation you can follow along with: https://www.youtube.com/@rachelngom9131) __________________________________________________________   Ready for more? We are entering a new era, where we must look at what has happened and has been done, in order to make adjustments and step into the future that God has for us individually, and as the Body of Christ.

We have a King who's resource is His word, and His word accomplishes everything! The DNA of belief is in our behaviour, do we really believe what we are asking God for? As a student in seminary I lobbied for marriage and ordination of LGTBQ individuals and ministered among gay youth, espousing a theology that embraced homosexuality. Upon graduating I served as a youth pastor in a small rural community, where an encounter with Jesus radically shifted my perspective. The love of God drew me into a revelation that transformed my life.   I have great passion for understanding sexuality and gender as it affects Christianity in our culture. I regularly consult with pastors and leaders who seek to establish connection with the LGBTQ community and to better serve individuals in churches who do not identify as gay, yet struggle with sexual identity issues. My heart is to see the LGBTQ community fully reconciled to God and to explore compassionate means of connection to those who disagree with traditional Christian beliefs.   I teach at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and regularly facilitate interactive conversations about sexuality and gender here at Moral Revolution and Equipped to Love. I hold a Masters in Theology and am a licensed pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, CA where my husband, Doug, and I live.   I regularly publish essays, found on https://changedmovement.com/, that focus on theological and compassionate approaches to LGBTQ experience.   Changed Movement: https://changedmovement.com/   book, “Changed”: https://changedmovement.com/changed-book   Rev. The Conscience is a foundational way that God speaks to us and guides us. "Conscience" is an internal self knowledge of right and wrong, good and evil. Every decision is processed through the conscience that bears witness to the existence of God. It is in the conscience that you feel either conviction or condemnation. It is the conscience in which discernment is developed, which must be sanctified and submitted to the truth of God's Word by the renewing of your mind by the guidance of Holy Spirit. When you deny the internal witness of God, it creates turmoil and conflict in the soul that you then have to find a way to fill and treat the pain. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. Romans 9:1 I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, 2 that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. A Global Awakening Associate Evangelist, William Wood is also a graduate of the Global School of Supernatural Ministry and founder of the Relentless conference. In 2005, William Wood had a dramatic encounter with God where he was supernaturally delivered from alcohol and drug abuse. Since this encounter, he has had a passion for revival and for seeing people step into the fullness of what Christ paid for on the cross.
