Marcas Grant is joined by our old friend Matt Harmon (Reception Perception, Yahoo Fantasy) to preview the second week of preseason action. After catching up, Marcas and Matt talk through some preseason storylines to watch, including Dak Prescott's injury, how the Cowboys' skill players Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup could be affected, and the suddenly crowded Miami Dolphins running back room with Myles Gaskin, Malcolm Brown and Salvon Ahmed. Then, the hosts go deep into methods used to track wide receiver play, covering faults with separation metrics and how the NFL has evolved to allow young receivers to contribute right out of college. Next, Matt identifies some receivers who may be undervalued, explaining what to make of Odell Beckham Jr., Corey Davis, and Mecole Hardman going into this season. Later, the duo asks five questions they hope to see answered in Preseason Week 2, touching on situations in New England, Denver, Houston, New Orleans and Philadelphia. Finally, Matt and Marcas wrap up the show with a rapid-fire discussion about Knives Out and memoirs. The NFL Fantasy Football Podcast is part of the NFL Podcast Network. Host Ian Hartitz breaks down the Bengals' somewhat thrilling Monday night victory over the Steelers before giving his thoughts on some of the week's most popular waiver wire options. Ben Roethlisberger and this passing game reached a new low, but at least Diontae Johnson remembered to hold on to the ball this week. Credit to Benny Snell for emerging as the top RB in this James Conner-less backfield. Ryan Finley got the Bengals a victory, but make no mistake about it: Giovani Bernard is the only player on this offense that is even somewhat viable in fantasy ahead of Week 16. Ian wraps things up with waiver wire thoughts on the likes of Le'Veon Bell, Lynn Bowden, Rashard Higgins, Jeff Wilson, Salvon Ahmed and much more.

It's championship week in fantasyland and our main crew is here to guide you to victory as they share which waiver adds could help you win your title this week! Salvon Ahmed (8:17) is the obvious top widely available RB, but can fantasy managers in a pinch rely on Darrel Williams (13:35) or Devine Ozigbo (14:36) during their most important matchup? Does a potential shootout with the Chiefs boost Russell Gage's (22:59) stock, or is that matchup far more difficult than most realize? Is Jalen Hurts (34:36) now a must-start QB for any fantasy managers that don't have an elite signal-caller? The show ends with our final round of Drop or Keep (50:24) for the season and we address whether it's time to cut bait on Russell Wilson (51:21), Ezekiel Elliott (52:55), and Tyler Lockett (55:55). We have returned to share our thoughts on every single Sunday afternoon game! If Ronald Jones is sidelined next week, can fantasy managers fully trust Leonard Fournette (2:12) against Detroit? What's Tags' problem with Tony Pollard (4:49) and is he a more exciting option at this stage than Ezekiel Elliott if he were to return? Would Salvon Ahmed (24:18) still have a sizeable role if Myles Gaskin comes back next week? After apparently falling behind Justin Jefferson in Minnesota's WR pecking order, why should fantasy GMs still start Adam Thielen (32:56) in the championship? Where are we thinking of ranking Jalen Hurts (49:27) in Week 16 against Dallas and what does his success mean for Carson Wentz's (50:28) future in Philadelphia? Lastly, has Taysom Hill now surpassed Drew Brees (56:07) as New Orleans' best QB? Dan and Tags are back to recap every single Sunday afternoon game! Do we now trust J.K. Dobbins (1:33) moving forward and what's Tags' problem with Curtis Samuel (4:51)? Is it time for fantasy managers to start pumping the brakes on their weekly expectations for Robby Anderson (12:25)? Was an easy matchup responsible for Michael Thomas' (29:12) nice outing, or was having Taysom Hill under center the primary cause for his production? How much will Joe Burrow's season-ending injury hurt Cincinnati's skill players (36:09) and will Tua Tagovailoa (39:01) be Miami's starter for the rest of the season, or has the door reopened for Ryan Fitzpatrick? Which WR makes sense as the optimal high-end option between Terry McLaurin (6:29) and Keenan Allen (7:54)? There is no shortage of viable cash game RBs all across the main slate from Mike Davis (2:23) to Gio Bernard (23:42), Salvon Ahmed (26:03), and Kalen Ballage (27:17). Would it be wise for savvy GPP players to take a chance on Alex Smith (44:07)? NOTE: This show was recorded before the D'Andre Swift concussion news. Waiver Wired - Season 2, Episode 10: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@fantasy_mansion) has pinpointed top fantasy football waiver wire adds and FAAB bids heading into Week 11. Jameis Winston enters just as New Orleans' schedule softens: ATL, DEN, ATL over the next three weeks. PJ Walker steps into the perfect fantasy point-scoring situation supported by one of the best wide receiver trios in the sport. Donald Parham is not on the seasonal league radar, but his snap share and red zone usage is incrementally rising. Salvon Ahmed dominated the Dolphins' backfield snaps and posted 90 yards and a touchdown on 22 touches. Nyheim Hines is looking like a satellite back-plus with big upside moving forward. Heading into a revenge game against the Jets, Kalen Ballage is worth streaming, but don't pay an iron price. JD McKissic is thriving with Alex Smith The Seattle backfield music stopped on Alex Collins this week. Penny's recent "home stretch" social media post offers hope that he is near returning. Devontae Booker is a top handcuff back with standalone value and worth a bid bump to stash this week. Don't chase last week's touchdowns, especially given Rex Burkhead's 6 carries to Damien Harris' 22. It just makes sense that New York would turn the backfield over to Lamical Perine coming out of the bye. DeAndre Washington checks primary back-boxes and would likely get a shot at dominating the running back touches in Miami at some point this season. Jakobi Meyers is dominating the target share and air yards share in New England. Michael Pittman has ascended to go-to receiver status. David Moore is the one true handcuff wide receiver, but when crafting a bidding strategy, know that your leaguemates don't know that. K.J. Hamler has more big play ability than Jeudy, but Drew Lock has been too erratic to delivery consistent fantasy production. Little Jakeem Grant delivered 14-plus fantasy points in Week 10 with Casey Hayward shadowing Devante Parker. Josh Reynolds is a plus-athlete and offers high-end WR3 production most weeks. Richie James surprisingly usurped Kendrick Bourne for the No. 2 WR role in San Francisco on Sunday. Allen Lazard experienced some soreness heading into last weekend and was held out of the game, but he should be activate this week. Tim Patrick delivered another double-digit fantasy performance on Sunday, but a deeper look suggests Jeudy and Hamler have usurped him on the target pecking order. Denzel Mims posted an impressive 100% route participation rate and 139 air yards against a competent secondary in Week 11. Stash him before a possible shootout vs. LAC. Jalen Guyton ran more routes and absorbed more targets than Mike Williams in Week 10. Marvin Hall was back at it, scoring another long touchdown in Week 10. What kind of impact will the injuries to Teddy Bridgewater (3:49) and Drew Brees (5:55) have on their respective offenses? Is Salvon Ahmed (13:56) or Alex Collins (26:15) the best short-term RB add and who is the better long-term bet between Cam Akers (9:05) and Nyheim Hines (14:34)? Will Kalen Ballage (21:57) to lead the Chargers' backfield until Austin Ekeler returns, does Sammy Watkins (32:06) get too many targets to leave on waivers, and how attractive of a fantasy option is Jameis Winston (44:51) for the foreseeable future? Is Aaron Jones (18:46) no longer a bell-cow RB, or was Jamaal Williams' sizeable chunk of the workload a fluke? Does Jerry Jeudy's (39:31) target volume make him a weekly plug-and-play option, or is he still far too inconsistent for fantasy managers to rely upon? Jamey Eisenberg of CBS Sports is back on with us as we discuss our favorite starts (4:54), fades (38:24), and sleepers (53:46) for Week 10! Is Jarvis Landry (14:05) primed to be a target machine against the Texans, or will his injuries, Cleveland's low passing volume, and the return of Austin Hooper all hinder his production? Is it wise for fantasy managers who roster Mark Andrews (28:24) to explore alternative options at TE this week? Justin Jefferson's (42:05) big play ability does give him a nice ceiling, but a tough matchup against the Bears is concerning.
