We've got something special for you all today - a look behind the Patreon curtain! Here's an episode of Talking Fussball Extra, Nik Wildhagen and Terry Duffelen's podcast that takes a wider view of the German football scene and appears every few weeks on our Patreon feed. This week they dig into some of the thorniest issues facing football in Germany and elsewhere. What do the fates of English clubs Bury and Bolton mean for the future of football finance in Germany? How much pressure is the sustained success of the Bundesliga's "plastic" clubs (RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen) putting on the rest of the league to "modernize" their financial models? And how do clubs in areas with high support for far-right parties keep their supporters groups from becoming megaphones for hate? Nik and Terry nab one of the best possible guests on these topics: Felix Tamsut of Deutsche Welle, a leading voice in international coverage of German Football fan culture. Listen in as this thoughtful trio deliver a must-listen episode. If you like it, head on over to our Patreon page and sign up!

This is just a sample post for a podcast episode. Ignore for now!
for the 29th edition to the sample series, we have brought in one of the sample team. Adam, co runner and resident has pieced together 60mins of techno for the pleasure of your ear drums!
For EP28 we have brought in the second half of White Kite, Graham Laverty. Through his productions released under his own name as well as being one half of production duo White Kite, Graham Laverty has seen his reputation in underground house and techno circles steadily building over the last few years. Since his debut release on Steve Mac's sMACk label in 2010, Graham has seen his music feature on respected imprints such as ALiVE, Bullet:Dodge, Variante and Fergie's Tribal Rage, as well as being a key artist within the Deep Edition label family.
For Episode 27 we have brought in Jack Wickham. Jack’s style stems across House, Deep House and Deep Techno, consistently being influenced and imbued by other DJs, sounds and inspiration around him to create his own unique image. Carrying a mixture of deep musical passion, a collection of delicious music and an open minded perspective, Jack established himself within the music industry with releases on Catwash Records, One Records, Frole, Art of Dark and many more. Summer 2013 will see Jack travel to Ibiza for a residency at Sankeys and gigs across Europe with a brief visit to the east coast of America.
for episode 26 we have brought in Chris Simmond's!!, Cross Section Records head honcho and House legend !!. in the late 80's Chris would be found at the decks of Time Radio in London spinning Soul, Jazz, Funk and Rare Grooves & selling his productions out the boot of his car 'Wax factory Productions'. This was one of the first UK independent dance labels back in 1990 which gave him the opportunity to meet & engineer for the likes of Carl Cox, Colin Dale, Rocky (xpress 2), Rugged Vinyl and a lot more of the dj/producers of the 90s.
For episode 25 we have brought in Amsterdam duo 'Beesmunt Soundsystem'. AKA David van der Leeuw & Luigi Vittorio Jansen. David & Luigi's debut EP Circulation on SoWeSo, has been seen in many big dog DJ's record bad, and a favourite of ourselves. At the mere age of 18, both gentlemen had already earned their own residency at the famous Paradiso venue. As the rep grew bigger, so did the crowds, the parties and the festivals (Lowlands, 5 Days Off, Valtifest, Open Air), even taking them across the border: Paris, Cannes, Berlin, Antwerp, Istanbul, Lausanne, Bern, just a selection of places they have blessed with their original sounds. This progress in the realms of dance music also inspired the fellows to advance and develop their own productions and remixes.
Volume 24 of the Sample Podcast comes from good friend and Lower East regular Rebel.

As one of the UK’s most promising producers, 2012 has been the break out year for Jamie Trench. With his own vinyl label Roots For Bloom and debut album ‘Range of Motion’ set to launch in November, the remainder of 2012 is set to be the stepping stone for the young Milton Keynes producer, with releases on VIVa, Kaluki, Music is Love, She Wolf, Say Deep and SKYLAX/A Fistful Of Wax and his own Roots For Bloom. Jamie’s musical journey began from a young age. With his father in the night club scene, Jamie would spend most of his child-hood hanging around night-clubs when they were closed listening to CD’s that his father had bought him back from the night before.
For episode 22 we have brought in one half White Kite, Nicky Mann, the avid vinyl collector from Newcastle has dusted us up a wax only podcast, full of big basslines and driving percussion. Nicky's project White Kite and gone from strength to strength recently putting a signature on a 2 track EP with the well established Bullet Dodge Records. Expect some big things from White Kite in 2013.
Since his first releases in the beginning of 2009 he kept surprising other dj’s and producers from all over the world with the variation in his productions. With releases at labels like Bla Bla, Sintope Digital, Sintope Vinyl Series, Recycle and many others Rhadow’s sound is hard to describe, oldskool but modern, deep but dancefloor-effective. He doesn’t limit himself to one style. While producing house, deephouse, techhouse all his productions have something in common that together makes one recognizable sound.
The first episode of the Gamers of Brohan! Listen in while Jared and Jeff talk about nothing.
Volume 20 comes from local Newcastle artist Geoff Leopard. Geoff is 1/3 of Last Waltz, the DJ/Production outfit behind the Dada parties in the North East who have seen releases in 2012 on Mule Musiq's "Endless Flight" label, World Unknown, Futureboogie and their own label, Object of Distraction. This year has also seen Last Waltz gig extensively throughout the UK and Europe, including gigs at the world famous Garden Festival in Croatia and Europes oldest house night, Back 2 Basics (Leeds). The next year sees further releases on labels including Lets Play House, Ene Japan and Is It Balearic?, and even more gigging, with tours of the US & Japan currently being planned.
Being born in Frankfurt is not such a bad omen if you want to make electronic music. Twenty-six and after a few Motown Records and hip hop influences and a 6-month traineeship at Cocoon it is safe to say that the advantage of the birth city has paid off for Emanuel Satie .His music is released on labels such as Cécille Records, Bouq., Souvenir, Monique Musique and many more...
The Italian SLOK has been a pre-eminent force in electronic music for some time now. His discography also includes releases and remixes on high profile record labels like Get Physical Music, My Favorite Robot, One Records, Circle Music, Turbo, OM, Harthouse, Plastic Fantastic (Stereonova), Futic Tokyo and many more. SLOK currently runs his own imprint Electronic Petz, a structure created for supporting new enterprising electronic music. In March 2012 he debuted on Subb-An & Adam Shelton's One Records to a whole host of international support and glowing reviews alike.
For Episode 17 we have invited in Illusion Agencies 'Seelie' aka (Liam Rielly). An avid record collector and long-time resident for the seminal ‘For No Reason’ parties in the former rave mecca of Preston, Lancashire (North of Manchester), Seelie has been carving away a solid reputation of one of the best resident DJs in the UK, but it is with his own productions that he is really starting to cause quite a stir with ONE Records snapping up the amazing ‘Soulocation’ for his first solo release, and many more production waiting to be released, Seelie looks like he's one to watch for 2012/13.
for Episode 16 we have invited in another young Italian artist, he has put together, what i would describe as a "Peak Time, Terrace style mix" Bangin with a capital 'B'" Born in 1990, Italian producer Lorenzo Marrucci delivered his first release 20 years later for the Area 94 imprint. Between then and the release for Home Audio he has graced respected Italian labelPresslab, Oblique, Digitalique and Keep On with his work.Recently he has released on LOK Records! Lorenzo is addicted to house music and says he lives each day with a kick, clap and hi-hat playing continuously in his head
Volume 15 comes from the very talented 19 year old Italian, Stefano Esposito, he's been Dj'n since 13 and producing music since he was 17, his forward thinking deep house mixed with old school house vibes has caught the interest of big artists like Jordan peak. he currently has music signed to Apparel Music and Four Finger Hand and plenty more productions in the pipeline to be released. Stefano is a one to watch over the coming years
Episode 14 comes from Sample Co runner and resident Chris Q, An hour long mix defining Chris' live set style, big percussion and dubby basslines..2012 see's Chris' name go from strength to strength with a recent signature on the Kaluki Musik imprint. His 5 track EP containing 3 wicked remixes due out at the beginning of the summer on vinyl/digital has already gained great support from big names in the game..listen out for some of his signed and unsigned productions throughout the mix.
JMX is a name that seems to be cropping up all over the place at the minute, his tracks appearing in charts and mixes from the likes Ralph Lawson, Adam Shelton, Jordan Peak and Huxley. He has definitely got everyone talking and rightly so with his first ep dropping on 2020 Vision in April followed by a release on One Records plus tracks coming on a new label from Huxley and Nic Fanciulli's soon to be relaunched Deleted Records, 2012 is looking like a year JMX's name is going to ring out
