Experience a guided Reiki and shamanic journey to anchor your internal stability. This journey is the companion to our teaching on the transition from the Year of the Snake to the Year of the Fire Horse. As we navigate collective chaos and "disturbances in the field," this journey helps you align your Divine Mind with your human presence. We travel to the Third Heaven and the Hall of Gifts and Nourishments to release ancestral cords, receive spiritual nourishment, and awaken the "Tree of Life" within you. Use this practice to clear the fog of the world, activate your inner vision, and prepare for the new beginnings of 2026. Key Spiritual Transitions in This Journey Aligning your Multiple Minds We begin by using the Mental-Emotional symbol (SHK) to align the Divine Mind with your heart mind, gut mind, and earth mind. This creates the "Authentic Intellect" needed for clear discernment during chaotic times. The Hall of Gifts & Nourishment In the enlightened realm of the Third Heaven, we enter a great cathedral of spirit. Here, you receive specific gifts of Creativity, Curiosity, and Innovation. This is where we replenish the energy spent on "stability" so you have the fuel to manifest. Completing Ancestral Cycles We utilize the Distance Symbol (HSZSN) to bridge through time, completing ancestral histories that are ready to be let go. By releasing these cords, you claim the "love of thousands" while leaving behind the burdens that no longer serve your lineage. Eagle and Mouse Vision Integration As we return to the physical realm, we practice shifting between the high-level perspective of the Eagle and the immediate, detailed focus of the Mouse. This ensures that your spiritual insights become practical, daily actions. Navigating Spiritual Stability How can I stay stable when the world feels chaotic? Stability is found by aligning your core "Tree of Life" energy. This journey guides you to connect with the deep roots of the Earth and the branches of the Heavens, allowing you to stay present and kind even when external energies are "wobbly." What are the "Living Waters of Peace"? In this journey, the River of Life represents pure consciousness and creative flow. Drinking these waters helps wash away "collective static" and corded attachments to worldly worries. Elena Huggins, author of Untwist Me: Uncomplicated Life Hacks for Mental and Emotional Liberation shares her personal journey of faith, trauma, and healing, emphasizing the importance of understanding the difference between being healed and being free. Our conversation delves into the complexities of trauma, the significance of processing emotions, and the role of Scripture in finding peace and clarity. Elena offers practical advice to help you navigate your own mental health challenges and encourages you to simplify your struggles to find effective solutions.Trauma can lead to complex emotional challenges that require deep processing.Healing is not the same as freedom; true freedom comes from a relationship with Jesus. Many people manage their mental health rather than truly heal from it.Scripture is the lynchpin in overcoming anxiety and trauma.Anxiety can be unlearned.Processing trauma is essential; you cannot skip steps in healing.Simplifying life's challenges can empower you to take action.Elena's book offers practical steps for emotional liberation. The supernatural power of God plays a crucial role in healing.Fav quotes: "Anxiety is a practiced behavior.""It must start with Jesus, you and Him.""Keep it simple, that's what I would say."Chapters05:47 Elena's Journey to Faith08:48 The Impact of Addiction and Trauma14:16 The Struggle with Mental Health18:14 Finding Freedom in Christ19:20 The Purpose Behind 'Untwist Me'28:47 Processing Trauma: The Importance of Healthy Reflection30:26 Divorcing from the Past: Moving Beyond Trauma33:51 Patterns of Thought: Understanding Anxiety and Depression34:38 Anxiety as a Practiced Behavior: Breaking the Cycle36:58 The Power of Scripture: Transforming Thought Patterns40:06 The Supernatural Power of God: Healing Beyond Therapy44:33 Creating Your Toolbox: Practical Steps for Recovery48:38 Simplifying Life's Challenges: Keeping It Simple*Peek Inside her book: https://amzn.to/4pNdEXpConnect with Elena: https://www.elenahuggins.com/CONNECT WITH VICTORIA:PODCAST WEBSITE: www.choose2thinkpodcast.comMINISTRY WEBSITE: www.choose2think.coFACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/groups/choose2thinkINSTAGRAM: www.instagram.com/victoriadwalkerlydon/EMAIL: choose2think@gmail.com *BOOKS:Pickleball Passion A Marriage Devotional: 21 Days to a Stronger Connection on and off the Court https://amzn.to/48wnvaVCHOOSE 2 THINK 365-DAY DEVOTIONAL: https://amzn.to/3Hcl7v1CHOOSE 2 THINK JOURNAL: https://amzn.to/3WvinND*When you click on these Amazon affiliate links, I may earn a teeny commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Disaster preparedness is sort of an oxymoron. Disaster is the kind of indiscriminate calamity that only ever finds us ill-equipped to manage. And if you are truly prepared, you've probably averted disaster. There's a big difference between the impact of disaster on physical, material life—and its outsized impact on mental, emotional, and spiritual life.Personal disasters like a terminal illness, natural disasters like the recent fires that razed southern Californian communities, the impact of endless, senseless wars … these all cause a pain and physical damage that can be mitigated or rebuilt. But the worst of these cases threaten to destroy the very meaning of our lives. No wonder disaster takes such a psychological and spiritual toll. There's an urgent need to find or even make meaning from it. To somehow explain it, justify why God would allow it, and tell a grand story that makes sense from the senseless. These are difficult questions, and my guests today both have personal experience with disaster. “Meaning making is so fundamental to who we are as humans, and when that's ruptured, it's devastating.” (Dr. Pam King, from this episode)“Spiritual fortitude is different from resilience … it helps us to realize that we still learn to live in the midst of suffering. … It helps us metabolize our suffering.” (Dr. Jamie Aten, from this episode)One of the hopeful things in the aftermath of the Los Angeles fires is how I have seen people within L.A. show up with and for each other. And I'm especially grateful for this audience because I know you are all people who care to show up with people, and for people. Thank you for being light in these hard times. And I was talking with Evan Rosa. The producer and host of For the Life of the World (Yale Center for Faith & Culture) about the turbulent times that we are experiencing in Los Angeles. And I was also speaking about experts who deal with trauma, disaster, psychological first aid, spiritual first aid, and also reflecting on my own experiences of watching the community around me evaporate. Leave Wellness + Wisdom a Review on Apple Podcasts Power Quotes From The Show The Liver Is Processing Collective Trauma "We're moving from a place as a human species that was so mentalized into feeling our body more. No wonder the liver is under so much strain because it's being asked to do a lot. It's being asked to process our cumulative trauma as a culture, as a society, as well as massive amounts of chemical toxins. The amount of things that people have coming up to be cleansed and purified matches the collective energy on the planet at the same time." - Dr. Kevin Preston Why Detox Is Necessary "There are a lot of toxins in the environment and our bodies are going to have to respond to that in some way. We are built to detox a lot, but when we stress our detox pathways over and over and over again, by overwhelming amounts of toxins coming in, they get fatigued. They need a rest. They need a break. But if we don't give the body a break of incoming toxins, it's not long before those filters get stuck." - Dr. Kevin Preston Combining Different Healing Modalities "Let's get you doing a bit of breathwork. Let's get you seeing a somatic therapist because you're holding so much rage and anger right now. Dr. Janet Schwartz, an expert in forensic behavioral science, received a B.S. in Education from Valparaiso University and advanced degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, where she was recognized as a University Scholar. Her advocacy emerged during her high school years amid the Civil Rights era. Schwartz initially dedicated 17 years to working with children and families before transitioning to forensic fraud research following significant discoveries. She leads Forensic Fraud Research, Inc., providing intelligence to numerous federal and state agencies. A noted academic and author, she has contributed significantly to understanding white-collar crime and has written the bestselling "Last Summer with Oscar." Schwartz has also been involved in international initiatives, including establishing a domestic violence center with Muslim forensic psychiatrists. Her upcoming work, "Authentic Intelligence," aims to guide personal and global transformation through mental and spiritual growth. Her current writing project, Authentic Intelligence: How to Use Your Mental, Emotional & Spiritual Gifts to Create the Life – and World – You Want, is soon to be completed. Recent cases that are featured online are “Transforming Corruption on the Local Level Part I” and “Transforming Corruption on the Local Level Part II: Tools for Navigating Narcissistic Warfare.” https://janschwartz.us/jan-schwartz-biography/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/janetmschwartz/ Jan's Journey From Crime to Expert Jan shared her journey from growing up in a suburb of Chicago, where she was exposed to organized crime, to becoming a family therapist and eventually a forensic behavioral scientist. She recounted her experiences with criminal kids and their families and how she began to hear dark secrets and faced threats from organized crime figures. Despite these challenges, Jan decided to do the right thing and started sharing data with authorities, eventually becoming the president of Forensic Fraud Research Incorporated. She has since provided information to various government agencies and state departments, becoming an expert in managing and transforming corruption on a local level. Michael acknowledged Jan's journey and the impact of organized crime on their community. Jan's Career Journey and AI Discussion Jan and Michael discussed Jan's career journey, which involved a significant change in direction after a life-threatening incident. Michael praised Jan's resilience and adaptability, noting that her experiences, including working with elementary school kids and her time in Ohio, had honed her forensic skills. They also touched on the potential of AI for both good and nefarious purposes, with Michael emphasizing the importance of maintaining fairness and legitimacy in the face of technological advancements. Authentic Intelligence and Personal Growth Michael and Jan discussed the concept of authentic intelligence, which Jan defines as the interplay between mental, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. Jan shared her journey of discovering this concept and how it has helped her work. Michael agreed with Jan's perspective, emphasizing the importance of balancing these three aspects of intelligence for personal and professional growth. They also discussed the potential of this concept to positively impact society and the need for individuals to prioritize their well-being. The conversation concluded with Jan expressing her commitment to spreading this idea and helping others realize their potential through authentic intelligence. Addressing Polarization and Mainstream Media Michael and Jan discussed the current polarized state of the world, particularly in the United States. They criticized mainstream media for focusing on ratings rather than informing and educating people. Michael suggested that people work together to understand each other's perspectives, using a model of three circles as a boardroom for discussion. He believed that by doing so, people would find more agreement than disagreement, and the discord in the world would fade away. Harmony, Euphoria, and Kindness in Culture Michael and Jan discussed the importance of being in a harmonious state and its positive impact on individuals and society. Michael emphasized the euphoria and clarity that come from being in this state, allowing him to navigate challenging situations and be a beacon for others. He also highlighted the value of kindness and helping others, which benefits the recipient and the giver. Jan suggested that focusing on connecting with others and being competitive with oneself rather than others can create a more harmonious culture. They both emphasized the importance of self-efficacy and making a sincere difference. Kindness, Positivity, and Book Promotion Michael and Jan discussed the importance of acting with kindness and positivity in the world. Jan shared her work and encouraged others to connect with her through her website and LinkedIn.

Soft Cock Appreciation Week 2024 asks, “Why is talking openly and honestly about changes in erectile function still so taboo among men?” This question has been at the forefront of Erica Leroye's quest to demystify the erectile epidemic and treat men's sexual health as openly as any other health matter. In this conversation Erica speaks with Courtney Brame, founder of both Something Positive for Positive People- a vital resource for STI stigma re-education, and Selfed a mental and emotional health nonprofit for Black men, as well as a yoga instructor and yoga therapist in training. Courtney shares ideas from his years of his personal and professional experience helping people learn how to accept their bodies as they are and feel more free in communicating openly and authentically with partners. Join them as they explore: How it often takes a crisis to begin the shift from societal expectations of “what it means to be a man” to the personal explorations that create one's own truth. Redirecting thoughts of “I am alone in this and no one will ever want me again” to accepting what is in a way that encourages self-care and discoveries of new possibilities. Today we launch into all things microbiome! This is honestly one of my favourite topics, because as we discover more and more each day, the microbiome plays such a pivotal role in all aspects of our dogs health, and our own health! You're really in for a treat because my guest is Dr Carol Hughes, who is arguably one of the world's pre-eminent experts when it comes to the canine microbiome. Carol has had a vast career in bioscience research, and for over 10 years has specifically been engaged in research and development of our companion animal's microbiomes with her company PetBiome. In today's conversation, Carol and I explore the microbiome as the missing key in the canine diet, and how nurturing this ecosystem, you can vastly improve your dog's physical, mental, and emotional health. And, based on the wonderful questions that you guys ask me, Carol and I touch on a range of topics that I know you will find really helpful, including: *What the microbiome actually is and its role in health *The pros and cons of probiotics *The relationship between the microbiome and behavioural challenges like anxiety and aggression *How dogs' microbiomes have changed in the post-COVID era *Easy steps you can take to better support your dog's microbiome and increase diversity *Whether a raw or gently cooked diet is better for microbiome health *and What Faecal Matter Transfer (FMT) is, and how your dog might benefit from it If you'd like to reach out to Carol, or you'd like to learn more about how to order a microbiome test and report for your dog, visit her website https://www.biome4pets.com What was your biggest takeaway from this episode?
