Send us a textHave you ever wondered why forgiving someone who deeply wounded you feels almost impossible—even when you know it's supposed to be "for you, not them"? In this transformative episode, Angela Meyer tackles the challenging spiritual terrain of forgiving the unforgivable with wisdom born from personal experience.Drawing from her 20+ years in mental health and her own journey of healing from profound trauma, Angela shares why true forgiveness requires divine strength, not just human willpower. Through the powerful metaphor of a stream becoming clogged with the debris of resentment and pain, she illustrates how unforgiveness creates energetic blockages that eventually manifest as stagnation in our lives and even physical illness. The heart of this episode unveils Angela's nine insights for approaching seemingly unforgivable situations, including the understanding that true forgiveness happens through the soul, not the mind. Her innovative forgiveness technique incorporates what she calls "the why factor"—addressing the deeper reasons behind our pain stories and finding compassion for those who hurt us by recognizing their own wounded childhoods. Most powerfully, Angela reveals how to know when you've truly forgiven: when you think of the person who hurt you and feel neutral rather than triggered, when their actions no longer define your story, and when you've reclaimed your energy from the past. Through the moving teaching story of "The Woman and the Snake," she leaves listeners with a profound truth—the unforgivable act may never be made right, but your soul doesn't need their apology to be free.Ready to release old wounds and reclaim your energy? Visit undetectednarcissist.com for the accompanying blog post and free meditation to support your forgiveness journey. Join us for a profound guided meditation designed to help you face, process, and release emotional wounds through powerful visualization. This healing journey begins by creating a safe container within yourself, grounding into your body through mindful breathing as you prepare to meet old wounds with newfound courage. Through gentle guidance, you'll visualize standing in a sacred forest where you encounter a snake – a symbol representing someone who has hurt you deeply. Rather than fighting or fleeing, you're invited to observe, speak your truth, and ultimately extract the symbolic fang that has remained lodged in your energy body. The meditation centers around a transformative forgiveness practice – not to condone harmful actions or forget what happened, but to free yourself from carrying the weight any longer. Through repeated affirmations like "I release the venom, I release the pain, I release the person," you'll experience a recalibration as you call your scattered energy back home to yourself. The powerful mantra "Today I walk free. No one owns my story but me" helps cement your reclamation of personal sovereignty.Whether you're working through betrayal, rejection, abandonment, or any form of emotional pain, this meditation offers a compassionate framework for healing. FOR THEY HAVE COME. Who are they? What would invoke Them to make Their Presence known in our life? What would block Them from coming? Seeing the holiness of our brothres, especially the ones we "love to hate," prepares the way for us to receive the Help of the Ascended Masters. Without forgiveness in the true sense, we close the door to receive Them. But with the Light of True Forgiveness shined upon our very brothers with whom we held so many grievances, They have come, and we are Blessd in the Holiness of their Gifts of God. "The holiest of all the spots on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present love."We receive gifts of Atonement when we are ready to give it.
In this Sunday's homily, Fr. Hollowell reflects on Jesus' call to forgive and what true Christian forgiveness looks like. Drawing from the wisdom of Dietrich von Hildebrand, he explores the two extremes that can hinder real forgiveness—harboring hatred or simply burying the hurt without addressing it. True reconciliation, especially within our closest relationships, requires not only an inward act of forgiveness but also honest conversation and repentance. Join us as we reflect on Jesus' words: “Forgive, and you will be forgiven” and pray for healing in our relationships.

Distinguishing the act of pardoning, letting another "off the hook," from actual Forgiveness is urgent to understand. In the Aramaic tradition, the word "Forgive " translates to shabag, meaning "to cancel." Rather than "forgiving" others for their actions, True Forgiveness is an internal process of canceling the goals that drive and sustain perceptions based in unresolved emotional energetic patterns.
We've all heard that to forgive someone is to set yourself free. But what if you're finding it difficult to forgive? Or what if you thought you forgave, but you still feel resentful? Or maybe you've said something like, ‘I forgave, but I won't forget.'Today I'm sharing a new perspective on forgiveness that could help you finally break through the barrier that has been keeping you from truly forgiving another.I'm outlining the guidelines for the deep process of release that will help you arrive at true forgiveness. This is not about making a decision to forgive another, but rather connecting with a process that helps you physically feel the shift in your body—a knowing that forgiveness has truly occurred. Experience the essence of finally setting yourself free. How are we supposed to apply the truth that God is light? According to 1 John 1:5–2:1, it means living our lives exposed to God and one another. Being true to ourselves and God about the reality of our sin will produce true fellowship and help us experience true forgiveness. God's light not only exposes our sin, but in Jesus, purifies us. Therefore, before God, we may be naked but unashamed. We will consider this truth under three broad headings: 1. God's Exposing Light (1:5) 2. True Fellowship (1:6–7) 3. True Forgiveness (1:8–2:1)

It is the LIGHT which shines away the darkness. What is held secret and obscure in our minds, based on shame and fear and guilt, can be shined away by the Light of True Forgiveness. The Light of Love is Forgiveness in this dimension. The sentinels of guilt keep our shame secret. We carry the past mistakes as "records of wrongdoing." But it is time for us to LET GO of these shadows that have no real substance other than that which we give to them. Bring the LIGHT of Guiltlessness to these shadows of "guilt." Keeping them hidden does not serve our Communication with God. For only the truly Innocent can be communicated. The Light of Love is the only thing worth communicating. All else is a “break down" of communication. Why keep these shadows alive in our MIND? Let them be dissolved by the Light of Holy Reason that shines away the darkness in our memories.
