Send us Fan MailYour feelings are telling on your thoughts. If you've been doing “all the right things” on your health journey or personal growth path but still feel funky inside, it might be because of what you're affirming without realizing it.This week, I'm asking one question that cuts through the noise: what are you confirming about yourself on repeat? We start with a simple check-in you can do any morning, then we zoom out to the mindset basics that actually change your life: your thoughts shape your feelings, your feelings drive your actions, and your actions create your results. I share a list of common affirmations that sound positive and the ones that feel a little itchy, and I walk you through how to notice them with mindfulness and zero shame. From there, we take it deeper with anxiety. “I'm anxious” can be true and still not serve you when you say it all day. I explain how your brain's reticular activating system looks for evidence of what you repeat, and how that can amplify stress. We practice choosing a new target for your focus, like calm, organized, or even proud, so your identity starts working for you instead of against you.If this hits home, subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a five-star rating and review so more people can find Believe Like a Boss.ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!LEARN MORE ABOUT COACHINGNandiCamille.comSCHEDULE YOUR FREE DISCOVERY CALLClick HereJOIN THE MAILING LIST & NEVER MISS AN UPDATE!Click hereASK A QUESTION + LET'S BE SOCIALEmail: hello@nandicamille.comInstagram and TikTok: @nandicamilleLearn more about Nandi and Life Coaching at: NandiCamille.com

Send us Fan MailIf you've ever been asked “What do you want?” and your mind goes blank, you're not alone, and it's usually not because you're clueless. It's often because you've trained yourself to believe you can't have what you want, so naming it feels risky. We slow that moment down and show you how to rebuild desire, clarity, and trust in yourself without turning your current life into a problem. We share our six-step framework for getting what you want, built from mindset coaching, spiritual alignment, and practical action. We start with honesty and move into real clarity: defining what “a loving marriage,” “a better job,” “confidence,” or “more money” actually means for you. We also connect the dots to neuroscience and the reticular activating system, because specificity changes what you notice, what you tolerate, and how you discern what is for you. From there we talk openness, faith, and the part most people skip: showing up like it's already done while still taking steps that make it possible. Then we tackle limiting beliefs head-on, including the “crab effect” that pulls you back right when you start gaining momentum, and how to rewrite those thoughts so you can keep moving. If this helped, subscribe, share it with someone you love, and leave a five-star review so more people can find the show. Check in: What's the one thing you're ready to be honest about wanting today?ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!LEARN MORE ABOUT COACHINGNandiCamille.comSCHEDULE YOUR FREE DISCOVERY CALLClick HereASK A QUESTION + LET'S BE SOCIALEmail: hello@nandicamille.comInstagram and TikTok: @nandicamilleLearn more about Nandi and Life Coaching at: NandiCamille.com

Send us Fan MailComplaining can feel like relief in the moment, but it comes with a hidden cost: it trains your brain to look for what's wrong and makes it harder to create solutions. After coming back from a weekend conference high (and a little sleep-deprived), we slow down and get honest about what really gets in the way of joy, especially when you're in a hard season, dealing with stress, or feeling stuck. We walk through the “choice to rejoice” as a real-life gratitude practice, not a fluffy slogan. I talk about how your environment shapes your default thoughts, why workplace or friend-group negativity can pull you into the complaining loop, and how giving yourself grace is part of changing the pattern. Then we get concrete: what does joy look like in your life right now, and where are you already experiencing it even if your brain wants to skip past it?We also dig into the neuroscience of gratitude and mindset management. Gratitude can support the decision-making part of your brain (your prefrontal cortex), calm stress reactivity (your amygdala), and boost feel-good chemistry like dopamine and serotonin. From there, we build a menu of simple, sustainable habits: journaling, writing thank you notes, doing a weekly “what went well” review, pausing with your morning coffee, giving thanks before meals, and even saying “thank you” when you pay a bill because you have the ability to cover it.If you want more joy, momentum, and emotional steadiness, pick one practice and try it this week. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a mindset reset, and leave a five-star review if it helps you.If this hits home, subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a five-star rating so more people can find the show. ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!LEARN MORE ABOUT COACHINGNandiCamille.comSCHEDULE YOUR FREE DISCOVERY CALLClick HereASK A QUESTION + LET'S BE SOCIALEmail: hello@nandicamille.comInstagram and TikTok: @nandicamilleLearn more about Nandi and Life Coaching at: NandiCamille.com

Send us Fan MailComplaining can feel like “just venting,” but what if it's quietly training your brain to look for problems, not possibilities? We get honest about the 50-50 nature of being human and why chasing constant happiness backfires. Instead, we practice mindfulness as awareness without judgment, using a simple metaphor: life as a party where emotions are offered, and you get to decide what you pick up and what you pass on. Then we dig into the neuroscience and psychology of complaining and gratitude. I talk through how chronic complaining ramps up stress and can shrink your capacity for creative thinking, problem solving, and emotional regulation. We also cover the social side: how listening to long vent sessions can affect you, and how to set kind boundaries so you can be a safe space without burning out or building resentment. From there, we flip the script with “the choice to rejoice,” a practical gratitude practice that goes beyond listing what's good. We explore research on thank you letters, why recipients feel more warmth than we expect, and how consistent gratitude practice can support mental health over time. Your growth work is simple and powerful: write a thank you letter to your future self, plus journal prompts to identify what you've been complaining about and where compassion would change everything. If this helps, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a five-star review so more people can find this work.If this hits home, subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a five-star rating so more people can find the show. ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!If you're ready to build confidence, identity, and aligned results, check out The Art of Magnetism or book a free discovery call. GET THE NEWSLETTEREvents, Programs & More. We start by taking the pressure off, because you are not behind and you are not broken. From there, we get honest about follow-through without using self-criticism as a “strategy,” then I walk you through five reminders I lean on when I feel unmotivated: reconnect with your why and check if it still fits, notice whether your body expands or contracts around the goal, and remember that we chase outcomes because of how we think we'll feel once we have them. You'll also hear how subconscious stories quietly shape discipline, happiness, and results, plus a practical way to borrow confidence from the future version of you who already has what you want. Send us Fan MailSome of the strongest forces in your life are the ones you never agreed to consciously: the “rules” you're living by. They show up as quiet expectations about how hard you should work, what a good partner looks like, what your house should look like, what you're “allowed” to eat, and even what you can wear out of the house. I start with a personal reflection on growing up in a military family with complicated feelings about the Fourth of July, because it's a perfect example of how pride, pain, identity, and inherited beliefs can all coexist. Then we get practical. I walk you through a mindfulness-based way to spot subconscious beliefs using the cloud metaphor: notice your thoughts without judgment so you can respond instead of react. From there, I share prompts you can use right away to list your rules for work, dating or marriage, home care, nutrition, and fashion and to ask the bigger question: do these rules serve the life you're trying to build? We also talk about where rules get sticky, like conflict. I share a personal rule I'm still rewriting, “I can't disagree with adults,” and how it can cause shutdowns even when you're capable and confident. To uncover your own limiting beliefs, I offer two powerful clues: where you feel resistance and where you feel duplicity, the “I want to, but I can't because…” loop.If this hits home, subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a five-star rating so more people can find the show. ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!If you're ready to build confidence, identity, and aligned results, check out The Art of Magnetism or book a free discovery call. GET THE NEWSLETTEREvents, Programs & More. Send us Fan MailThe hardest goodbyes aren't always to people, they're goodbyes to the version of life you were sure was coming. If you've been telling yourself you should be “over it” by now, consider a different truth: your brain is doing update work, rewriting the future it had already started to expect, and that process often feels like grief. We start with mindfulness as awareness without judgment, then get honest about what it's like to be in a season of expansion while your doubt gets loud. From there, we dig into grieving the life you thought you'd have, the identity you built around a relationship or career, and why “I miss them” is sometimes really “I miss who I thought I was becoming.” You'll hear a clear breakdown of the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) and why they don't always happen in a neat order. We also untangle a big misconception: acceptance is not approval. Resistance can keep you stuck in “this shouldn't have happened,” while acceptance helps you reclaim your power with “this happened, and I love myself anyway.” You'll leave with grounding reframes, body-based ways to move energy, and journal prompts to process the future that never came to be, so you can choose what you want next with real, aligned confidence. If this hits home, subscribe, share with a friend who needs it, and leave a five-star rating so more people can find the show. ENJOY THE PODCAST?Leave us a 5-star review so more people can find us!If you're ready to build confidence, identity, and aligned results, check out The Art of Magnetism or book a free discovery call. GET THE NEWSLETTEREvents, Programs & More. One photo, one comment, one lost follower, one awkward pause in a meeting and suddenly the story becomes “I'm behind,” “I'm not enough,” or “It's never going to happen for me.” Today we slow that process down with one question that changes everything: What are you making it mean?I walk through how thoughts become beliefs, and how beliefs become the stories that quietly run your relationships, your money mindset, your confidence online, and the decisions you make when nobody's watching. We talk about mindfulness as awareness without judgment, why self-judgment makes the world feel harsher, and how constant stimulation in modern life makes it harder to access solitude and hear what you're actually telling yourself. You'll hear real examples: seeing a friend's pregnancy announcement and feeling the “I'm late” spiral, watching your social media numbers dip and letting your brain build a case for failure, and noticing jealousy around things you want, like success, love, or a beautiful ring. We also get practical about what to do next: pause, listen to your body, name the narrative, and choose a story that supports aligned change instead of shame. Send us Fan MailThe dream is the easy part. The struggle is the receipt, and it shows up whether we like it or not. Today we're asking a question that instantly clarifies your goals, your career moves, and even your relationships: what are you willing to struggle for?We riff on a line from The Subtle Art of Not Giving an F-U-C-K that reframes happiness as something earned through “choosing and managing our struggles.” If you've been chasing constant happiness, we slow down and normalize the truth that life is often 50-50. Feeling sad, anxious, bored, or angry doesn't mean you're broken. It means you're human, and it might be time to choose a different kind of hard, the kind that matches your values and your season. We make it practical with real-world examples and metaphors you'll remember: the seed that has to sit in cold darkness before it breaks through the soil, the teacher who loves the work but still faces politics, the entrepreneur who has to learn sales, the parent who has to grow up alongside their kid, and the dream that looks glamorous until you see the weekends, the tests, or the early call times. Then we walk through four steps you can use as a mindset and alignment filter: write your dreams, list what you love, name where struggle will show up, and decide if you're willing to get uncomfortable for that goal.If your life has felt heavy lately, we also offer a simple check-in: close your eyes, breathe, ask what's going on, and trust what comes up. If you're ready to build confidence, identity, and aligned results, check out The Art of Magnetism or book a free discovery call. We talk about how kids are taught to reflect constantly, while adults get rewarded for nonstop production, even when that production creates results we don't like. When we pause to check in, we create from an aligned place instead of going through the motions, and that shift changes everything from confidence to consistency.I walk you through practical reflection prompts you can use for any measurable goal, including revenue goals, fitness routines, and daily habits. We get specific: what your goal actually is, why it matters, where the money or outcome is going, what it would feel like to hit it, and what the “goal-hitting version” of you believes about your offer, your services, and yourself. I also share a hiking metaphor for course-correcting fast, plus easy ways to reflect without journaling, like a quick check-in on your drive home.To ground it in real-world psychology, I break down research-backed reasons reflection improves self-awareness, emotional regulation, learning, resilience, and life satisfaction. Send us Fan MailConfidence gets mislabeled as something you're born with, but I see it differently: confidence is built, practiced, and strengthened through self-trust. We start by getting honest about your current definition of confidence without judging it. If your definition is too narrow, you can accidentally “prove” you're not confident, even when you're solid in many parts of your life. I want confidence to feel grounded, calm, and aligned, not performative or shaky. Then we get practical with tools you can use today. I walk you through why standing taller changes the signals you send to your brain and helps your body feel safer and more capable. We also talk about joining a sport or trying a new fitness format, not to chase a “perfect body,” but to build trust with yourself through action, follow-through, and the feel-good chemistry that comes with movement and completing tasks. We close by zooming out to the deeper formula: confidence is trust times consistency. That includes learning a topic you love just because it brings you joy, and doing something totally new while having your own back, especially when other people don't get it. If you've been saying you'll do something and then not doing it, we unpack how that erodes self-trust and how to adjust when life happens without quitting on yourself. If you're ready for support, community, and a newfound sense of authentic confidence, The Art of Magnetism is my group coaching course focused on confidence and co-creation. Send us Fan MailYour habits are never “just habits.” They're constant, quiet signals to your brain about what you deserve, what matters, and whether you can trust yourself. I'm unpacking micro messaging, the tiny ways we communicate self-worth through what we do and what we keep avoiding, and how a small shift can change your entire self-concept over time. This week on the podcast, we start with real-life cues like a car that stays messy for weeks, a morning that always feels rushed, or only cleaning up when someone else is coming over. Then we go deeper into the self-awareness piece: what message am I sending when I keep saying I'll wake up earlier, journal, or move my body and I don't follow through? That gap creates cognitive dissonance, and it slowly erodes self-trust. I share how I've had to get honest about what I actually want in different seasons, and why “trust times consistency equals confidence” is the simplest mindset tool I keep coming back to. We also talk about more tender signs, like not wanting to shower when you're in a depressive state, and how awareness without judgment helps you choose the next best positive step. Knowing Your Weaknesses [Makes You A Better Leader]

Send us Fan MailThe fastest way to grow your confidence isn't pretending you're good at everything. It's getting honest about what you're not great at without turning it into a character flaw. Today we dig into “knowing your weaknesses” through a mindfulness lens: awareness without judgment, real self-awareness, and the kind of leadership that can see people clearly and place them where they shine.I share why this matters so much in real life, especially when you're stepping into a new level at work or leading a team. That classic job interview question “What are your weaknesses?” can either feel like a trap or become a secret weapon, depending on how well you know yourself. We talk about what weak answers sound like, what strong answers sound like, and why honest clarity beats polished perfection every time. You'll also get concrete ways to identify your weaknesses with care: journaling what you struggle with, asking someone you trust for outside perspective, and tracking a habit or goal to see where you get stuck. From there, we go one step deeper: deciding what to work on, what to delegate, and how to use self-love as the filter. If improving a skill brings you closer to your best self, do it. If delegating gets you there faster, that's wisdom too.Book mentioned: Graziosi, Dean. Millionaire Success Habits: The Gateway to Wealth & Prosperity. Send us Fan MailYour brain will beg for a guarantee before it lets you move, but that's not how goals get built. We're talking about done energy: the grounded certainty that what you want is available, and the decision to show up like it's already yours. Not as fake hype. Not as “good vibes only.” As aligned action that makes your life match your beliefs. We unpack why affirmations can fall flat when they aren't supported by behavior, and how authentic confidence is created through embodiment, self-awareness, and practical steps you can actually take. You'll hear the question that cuts through the noise fast: what are your actions affirming? Because your calendar, your routines, and what you keep avoiding are always telling the truth about what you think is possible for you.We also pull a lesson from the Red Sea story that lands whether you're spiritual, religious, or not: sometimes “be still” is regulation, and sometimes the only answer is move. From applying for the job to posting the offer to investing in support, done energy looks like motion with faith, even when the steps appear one at a time.If you want deeper support, I share how to join my group coaching program The Art of Magnetism starting May 19, focused on confidence, identity work, mindset, neuroscience, and embodiment so you can co-create the life, love, and legacy you want. Send us Fan MailYour brain is not trying to ruin your dreams, it is trying to keep you safe. That sounds supportive until you realize “safe” often looks like staying quiet in meetings, ghosting your own content calendar, and never asking for the raise, the support, or the clarity you actually need.We unpack what's really happening underneath resistance to showing up online and why it's the same pattern that plays out at work, in leadership, and in relationships. I break down the three most common reasons high-achieving women and creative entrepreneurs hold back: fear of the response, fear of risking the relationship, and fear of looking dumb. Then we get practical. When your mind jumps to the worst case scenario, I'll show you how to solve for it with one powerful question: “Then what?” You'll also hear a real story from my own career about asking for a raise after delivering major results and what I did next when I got the response I didn't expect. From there we move into mindset management and spiritual alignment that actually translates into action: visualizing the best case scenario, “mentally dressing” for the role you want, and cleaning up judgment so you stop negotiating with other people's opinions. Send us Fan MailThey told me “no” twice and I still became a director. That's the headline, but the real story is what happens in the middle: the quiet self-trust, the strategic next steps, and the way leadership skills get built long before you ever get the title.I'm taking you through my path from studying education in Florida to managing a ropes challenge course where communication, safety, and team leadership were non-negotiable. Back then, I didn't even realize I was learning coaching skills. I was listening for what groups needed, designing experiences, leading teams, and debriefing lessons, all the building blocks of confident leadership and mindset management. Then comes the pivot: visualization, intuition, and spiritual alignment guiding a move to Colorado, a fresh start, and a career transition that begins with humble work and big belief. I talk about loving early childhood education, noticing misalignment with how leadership treated teachers, and deciding I wanted to be the kind of leader who protects the team while still running a strong business. If you've been craving more money, more impact, or more autonomy, this will help you name what you want and take the next best step toward it.We also get real about rejection, persistence, and the spark that can fade when you isolate. The Gift Of Anticipation

Send us Fan MailThe future you want can start changing before anything “big” changes... simply by shifting what you expect. This week on Believe Like a Boss I'm diving into a mindset that sounds simple but hits deep: the gift of anticipation. I open with one question that instantly reveals what's going on under the surface: What are you looking forward to right now? Your answer tells you whether you're moving through life with joyful anticipation or bracing yourself with resistant anticipation. We unpack what I call resistant or duplicit anticipation, that push-pull energy where you want the goal but you're also rehearsing why it won't happen. Then I connect the spiritual language of “blocked energy” to neuroscience through the reticular activating system, the built-in filter that works like a Google search bar in your brain. When you expect failure, your mind starts collecting proof. When you expect growth, you notice options, resources, and evidence that you're getting closer. I also share research on positive anticipation, well-being, and stress coping, plus how the way you anticipate your day affects how you show up at work, in your business, and in relationships. You'll leave with a practical homework practice for the week: awareness without judgment, listening for “I have to” and experimenting with “I get to,” and deciding what needs to shift. Sometimes it's your thinking. Sometimes it's your environment. Either way, we're aiming for an aligned life where success looks like liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it. Music: Rush is back! They have a new chick drummer now (no, it's not Nandi). Drew is loving some Poison Vine by Cast. Tay Tay's album is selling just fine. Swift's movie is doing ok as well. Former Lemonheads singer Evan Dando loves drugs. Ace Frehley cancels remaining tour… including his stop in Detroit on October 31st. Trudi is stalking Todd Rundgren. MURDER: Thabo Bester: The Facebook Rapist and the Doctor Who Helped Him Escape Prison

The official story was that convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester died in a South African prison fire on May 3, 2022, but the truth was far more shocking: he had faked his own death with a stolen corpse and easily walked out of a maximum security prison. Known as "The Facebook Rapist" for luring women with fake international modeling opportunities, Bester was serving a 30-year sentence for the rape and robbery of two women and the murder of his girlfriend, Nomfundo Tyhulu, in 2011. In this episode, we unravel the chaotic details of his escape and his life on the run: The Fake Death: An investigation into the cell fire and the burned remains raised immediate suspicion. The body used to stage his death was later confirmed to have died before the fire from blunt force trauma to the head, and DNA did not match Bester .  The Accomplice: Dr. Nandipha Magudumana (Dr. Nandi): Celebrity physician Dr. Nandi, who claimed to be Bester's customary law wife, was his essential partner in crime. She initially collected the body and was later spotted shopping with Bester, aiding his life as a fugitive. She is a glamorous doctor who had it all, but chose a criminal life as a "cold-blooded accomplice". Life as a Fugitive: Before his escape was confirmed, Bester was running multiple scam companies from prison. After walking out, he continued his fraudulent schemes with Dr. Nandi, meeting clients and living in a rented mansion until their arrest in Tanzania in April 2023.  This incredible true crime saga is also the subject of the Netflix docuseries, Beauty and the Bester.   Thank you to this week's sponsors!
