Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi did not enjoy this speech.I was invited to debate her at the Oxford Union on Thursday 25th April 2024.The motion was "Populism Is a Threat To Democracy". She argued in favour of the motion. I took the opposition. It is not populism that is the threat. The real threat comes from the elites.I would like to thank the Oxford Union for the invitation. A great privilege. Marjorie Taylor Greene is a Pistol! Should she be Outlawed?
Joe Biden gave a “fiery” speech that, for most people, did not unite anyone; he attacked almost everyone, and the assault included the Supreme Court Justices sitting right in front of him! We look at key moments in the speech, his missteps with Laken Riley's story, his overt support and promotion of abortion on demand, including making Roe the law of the land again, and at least 14 lies that we correct for the record!

It's Monday, March 11th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims kidnap 287 students Nigerian Muslim militants, armed with AK-47s, attacked a school in Kaduna State, kidnapping at least 287 students, reports The Christian Post. It marks the second large-scale abduction in Nigeria within a week, after Boko Haram militants abducted 200 other women and girls living in displacement camps in Borno State. According to persecution watchdog Christian Solidarity Worldwide, this is a frequent operation zone for the group. The pattern of abductions, frequent since the kidnapping of 276 mostly Christian Chibok schoolgirls in April 2014, has intensified in northern Nigeria, with armed groups targeting rural communities for ransom. South Korean Methodists excommunicate pro-perversion pastor South Korea's Methodist Church has excommunicated a pastor for his participation in homosexual activism, reports AFP. The Korean Methodist Church upheld its lower church ruling to excommunicate Pastor Lee Dong-hwan after it discovered the pastor's advocacy of perversion in a country where homosexual faux marriage is not recognized. In its verdict, the denomination said, "The church doctrine stipulates acts of agreeing or sympathizing with homosexuality amount to rules violations. Participating in and officiating a blessing ceremony to bless sexual minorities by scattering flower petals, waving a large rainbow flag in the square in front of Seoul City Hall, and proposing a blessing ceremony for homosexuals ... are all acts of approval or agreement with homosexuality." Laughably, the 43-year-old pastor called the verdict "shameful.” He added that “excommunicating a pastor for blessing sexual minorities will go down in the history of Protestantism as dark history that will only invite laughter later." Perhaps the pastor has never read Leviticus 18:22 which says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” President Biden's lies in State of the Union speech Last Thursday night, President Joe Biden delivered his 67-minute-long State of the Union speech to Congress. According to The Federalist, he articulated 30 provable lies. Biden claimed the U.S. has “the lowest” inflation rate in the world. BIDEN: “Wages keep going up and inflation keeps coming down. Inflation has dropped from 9% to 3%, the lowest in the world and trending lower.” The truth is that when Biden took office, inflation was 1.4% and real wages were positive. Since he took office, costs are up 17% and real wages are down 2%. Food prices are up 20%, rent is up 18%, and electricity is up 24%. Plus, numerous countries currently have a lower inflation rate. The president regurgitated the lie that his administration has “created 15 million new jobs.” BIDEN: “I inherited an economy that was on the brink. Now, our economy is literally the envy of the world. Fifteen million new jobs in just three years, a record.” That assertion is false, as Biden conflated jobs recovered after COVID-19 lockdowns with actual, new jobs created. Biden falsely claimed he “cut the federal deficit by over one trillion dollars” and has been “delivering real results in a fiscally responsible way.” BIDEN: “I've been delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways. We've already cut the Federal Reserve of over a trillion dollars.” Both claims are false. In fact, the U.S. national debt has risen by more than $6 trillion since Biden took office. Biden falsely claimed the Trump tax cuts “overwhelmingly benefit[ed] the very wealthy and the biggest corporations.” BIDEN: “The last administration enacted a $2 trillion tax cut, overwhelmingly benefitting the top 1%, the very wealthy, the biggest corporations.” Data produced by the IRS has shown that “on average all income brackets benefited substantially from the Republicans' tax reform law, with the biggest beneficiaries being working and middle-income filers, not the top 1 percent,” according to The Hill. Biden falsely contended the Alabama Supreme Court “shut down [In Vitro Fertilization] treatments across the state.” BIDEN: “Joining us tonight is LaToya Beasley, a social worker in Birmingham, Alabama. Fourteen months ago, she and her husband welcomed a baby girl, thanks to the miracle of IVF. She scheduled treatments to have that second child. But the Alabama Supreme Court shut down IVF treatments across the state.” Actually, that is not what the decision said at all. As The Federalist's Jordan Boyd reported, Alabama's highest court “ruled that embryos are people with inherent value, not legal property.” Biden incorrectly named the Georgia nursing student who was killed by an illegal immigrant. BIDEN: “Lincoln. Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal. That's right. But how many of the thousands of people being killed by illegals?” That is incorrect. The young woman's name is Laken Riley. GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia said, “Joe Biden's policies killed Laken Riley. He finally tried to say her name, but couldn't even say it correctly. It's an absolute disgrace.” The illegal is 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra from Venezuela. And Biden claimed the life of Kate Cox, a Texas woman who left the Lone Star State to abort her baby, was “at risk” during her pregnancy. BIDEN: “Joining us tonight is Kate Cox, a wife and mother from Dallas. She'd become pregnant again and had a fetus with a fatal condition. Her doctor told Kate that her own life and her ability to have children and children in the future were at risk if she didn't act, because Texas law banned her ability to act [to get an abortion]. Kate and her husband had to leave the state to get what she needed.” As the Federalist's Susan Bane wrote, Cox's now-deceased unborn baby was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, “a condition associated with severe developmental delays.” These children “can sometimes thrive into their early twenties.” Cox was certainly not at risk of dying from the diagnosis. Biden vows to codify Roe v. Wade Speaking of abortion, President Biden championed the idea of codifying Roe v. Wade if the American people re-elect him and send him a Democrat-majority Congress. BIDEN: “Send me a Congress that supports the right to choose [abortion], and I promise you I will restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land again.” The Bible records seven things that God hates including the “shedding of innocent blood.” (Proverbs 6:17) House Speaker Johnson: America “headed in wrong direction” And finally, on Fox Business, House Speaker Mike Johnson, the Republican from Louisiana, said that America is in decline due to Biden's leadership. JOHNSON: “I think he's a very weak president. I think everybody in America knows it. About 73% of the people in the latest poll, Americans think that country is headed in the wrong direction. And the State of the Union is in decline, very sadly. It pains us to say so, but decline in the economy, in our sovereignty with the open border, the security of our streets, and, of course, our stature on the world stage. We cannot have four more years of this!” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, March 11th in the year of our Lord 2024. Joe Biden will be trying to woo undecided voters in his annual State of the Union speech this afternoon. The US President is expected to focus on hot-button issues like the flow of migrants across the Mexico-US border. He's expected to lash Republicans for pulling out of a border reform plan that they helped draft, after Donald Trump said he wanted to keep the border as a hot election issue. US Correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking that we can expect some fireworks. He said that in the past the opposition would remain seated while supporters show their enthusiasm, but lately it's been getting more and more raucous. Biden is due to speak about 3pm New Zealand time. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
