Building a business as an introvert can be confusing and overwhelming. Most business and marketing advice out there is based on extroverted personalities and can cause introverts to shut down and simply remain small. But introverts can thrive as entrepreneurs. The trick is creating a business that works with your strengths and desires. In this episode, I will share 4 of my favorite personality tests to help you uncover your strengths, values, beliefs, and personality traits so that you can build a business that supports your introverted nature.Mentioned in the Episode:Top 5 CliftonStrengths >> https://store.gallup.com/p/en-us/10108/top-5-cliftonstrengthsHow to Fascinate >> https://www.howtofascinate.com/The Four Tendencies >> https://gretchenrubin.com/quiz/the-four-tendencies-quiz/Four Tendencies book by Gretchen Rubin >> https://amzn.to/3U9s2tL (affiliate link)--------------------------------------
Business boundaries are important for running your business smoothly, reserving your energy, reducing anxiety and stress, and mental health.Plus, they help you develop harmonious working relationships with your clients. If you don't have clear policies, you risk the chance of working on days you don't want to, working hours you don't want to, and putting up with things you shouldn't (like a non-paying client). In this episode, I cover 4 important policies you need to have in place before you take on any clients. I'll also discuss what to do if a client is pushing those boundaries or if you didn't create any before working with a client and you're discovering you really need to.Mentioned in the Episode:Client Contract Kit (inside the Introvert VA Club) >> https://introvertvaclub.comRelated Episodes:Tips for Introverted Virtual Assistants: https://desiretodone.com/how-to-be-an-introvert-in-an-extrovert-world/Dealing with Imposter Syndrome as a Virtual Assistant: https://desiretodone.com/imposter-syndrome-virtual-assistant/Four Client Processes You Need Before Bringing on Your First Client: https://desiretodone.com/before-working-with-virtual-assistant-clients/Should You Invoice Your Clients Prior to Working with Them? https://desiretodone.com/invoicing-clients/--------------------------------------
Your website is a powerful marketing tool that will help you find clients and make money. Done right, potential clients will want to learn more about your services. Done wrong, you risk your ideal client clicking away from your site, never to be seen again. There are common website mistakes that I see VAs make, and today I'm going to talk about 10 of them. I hear a lot of VAs talk about having imposter syndrome. They feel like they don't know what they're doing, that their skills aren't good enough to charge money, or that they need to be an expert to help clients. It's a crippling feeling that can hold VAs back from launching and growing their business. Introverts are more prone to imposter syndrome too.In this episode, I talk about what imposter syndrome is, ways to overcome it, and real-life examples from VAs I've mentored.Mentioned in the Episode:The Introvert's Guide to Imposter Syndrome >> Found inside my membership at https://introvertvaclub.com--------------------------------------

If the word 'networking' sends chills down your spine, you're not alone! It tends to conjure up thoughts of people standing around in suits and dresses in a stuffy room, shuffling out business cards, and making boring and awkward business talk. And if you're an introvert, the thought of talking to strangers alone gives you heart palpitations, so the mere thought of approaching strangers on your own gives you a full-on panic attack.Networking has so many benefits, though, that you don't want to disregard it.
