Dr. Saima Ali grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She attended the Hunter City University of New York, where she pursued a bachelor's in economics. Dr. Ali then went on to pursue her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine. Afterward, she completed her neurology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Ali then went on to pursue a fellowship in neurophysiology at North well in New York. She is board-certified in Neurology and Epilepsy. Dr. Ali focuses on Epilepsy because there are many negative stigmas that Dr. Ali believes is associated with Epilepsy. After completing her training, she worked from home during intraoperative monitoring for three years while taking a stroke all night from local hospitals. Dr. Ali has two beautiful children, a five-year-old girl in a three-year-old boy. While raising them, she found it hard to go back into the clinical setting. In this episode we will talk about the Journey of Dr. Chris Sudduth and how he overcame the dilemma’s of going from a small rural town in Oklahoma to graduating from a prestigious Medical School and a dual-residency program in Oklahoma! And how he has established a very successful Direct Primary Care Practice! Dr. Sudduth is a 4th generation Oklahoman from rural southeast Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and completed his medical school and residency training at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine and is specialized in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Sudduth also obtained a Master Degree in Public Health in Health Administration and Policy and has been very engaged in physician advocacy and drafting health policy. He has volunteered on multiple campaigns and held various leadership positions, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the Oklahoma State Medical Association. He also serves as volunteer faculty at the OU School of Community Medicine, where he enjoys mentoring medical students and physician assistant students. Dr. Sudduth is a physician entrepreneur who joined Dr. Scott Street in launching their own direct primary care practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma in September 2018. He is an avid supporter of free market medicine and the direct primary care movement. Dr. Sudduth is married to Beka, and they have 4 boys, 2 horses, 30 chickens, and 4 dogs and reside in Broken Arrow, OK.
