With a packed election year ahead (think: governor, U.S. Senate, and all the chaos in between), they’re asking for $120,913 to raise stipends and $87,972 for in-person training. The pay hikes? Modest but meaningful: poll managers could see $350 a day (up $10), assistant managers $280 (up $40), issuing clerks $235 (up $20), and non-issuing clerks $170 (up $10). Why? We’ll be right back Break 2: MONSTER JAM STORY 4: NBA Champion Adam Flagler Hosts Basketball Camp at Alma Mater Duluth Less than two months after winning an NBA championship with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Adam Flagler was back where it all started—Duluth High School—hosting his first-ever youth camp on Saturday. Over 200 kids showed up, from elementary schoolers to high school athletes, to learn from the former Wildcat who once dominated these same courts. Planning started months ago, with Duluth assistant coach Byron Wilson leading the charge. Flagler’s journey to the NBA wasn’t smooth. After graduating from Duluth in 2018 as the school’s all-time leading scorer, he took his only Division I offer at Presbyterian College. After a standout freshman year, he transferred to Baylor, where he helped the Bears win a national championship in 2021. Undrafted in 2023, Flagler signed with the Thunder, grinding in the G-League before earning a spot on the roster. This past season, he played 37 games and became an NBA champion. Now signed with the Spurs, Flagler’s future is bright, but Saturday was all about the kids. To celebrate this exhibition of Parrish's work –  you are now listening to a re-release of the interview with Judy Goffman Cutler and her fascinating insights on Maxfield Parrish. The exhibition is from the American Imagist collection at the National Museum of American Illustration in Newport, RI where Ms. Goffman Cutler is the founder and executive director. The museum art works are housed in Vernon Court, a stunning, Gilded Age mansion on Bellevue Avenue. At the Flagler museum – you will see 80 works by Parrish - 20 original artworks and 60 vintage prints, photographs, letters and related ephemera items.You will hear in this interview details of Parrish's career and techniques and gain an appreciation for both his artistic and impressive commercial success. Connor Gettemy is the Director of Sports Performance at Flagler College.  Arriving in in 2019, he is entering his sixth year overseeing the sports performance department where he is also in charge of training the men's basketball, volleyball, women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's lacrosse programs. Gettemy began his career in the collegiate sector as an intern coach at both Hofstra University and Robert Morris University in 2014.  Gettemy was an assistant strength coach at Waldorf University from 2014-2016. Ultimately, he ended up in Palm Beach, creating a proven track record in restaurant management with well-known establishments, Flagler's Steakhouse and Café L'Europe, before venturing out on his own.
