This week's episode is a different kind of one: a very open and honest letter to my postpartum self. I've been sitting on this episode for months, pulling back the curtain on the lowest-revenue year of my business (around $100K less in 2025 than the year before), the identity crisis nobody warned me about, and how I rebuilt my business to be *even better* than it was pre baby. But this episode isn't just for moms. It's about what happens to your motivation, your confidence, and your sense of self when life rips your old schedule out of your hands and what it actually takes to rebuild, on your own terms, without forcing yourself back into who you used to be.In this episode, we talk about:Why "drop the timelines" is the first thing I'd tell my past self, and why healing, rebuilding, or finding your footing again has no deadline, no matter what month 3, 6, or 12 says you should feel likeThe sneaky way shame shows up for high achievers and how it's different from guilt, told through a Brené Brown lesson that changed how I saw my entire postpartum yearWhy comparing yourself to people who aren't in the same season as you (different support, different circumstances, different everything) is setting yourself up to feel like you're failing on purposeThe real difference between losing your motivation and having it redirected, and why "I have no ideas anymore" might actually mean your bandwidth went somewhere else entirelyWhy having a personal-growth heavy brand doesn't mean you're not allowed to struggle, and the imposter syndrome that comes with teaching mindset work while losing your ownThe capability vs. character framework from therapy that explains why even the most confident people can feel like they've lost themselves completelyWhy I stopped asking "what's realistic" and started asking "what do I actually want," and how that shift is what got my business having solid recurring revenue through 2027The belief I didn't even know I had and what it took to unlearn itWhy "the story you need to be on camera and posting constantly to sell" is a story I made up, and how I built a business that doesn't run on that anymorePop this episode on when you're in a season that feels too permanent to get out of: postpartum, burnout, or just feeling like a stranger in your own life. This one's proof: it's temporary, and you already know how to build.Listen to similar episodes:227. Redefining Success After Motherhood: Pivots, Identity & Letting Go of Comparison Ft. Dovey, Spooner, Damo and Adam are all back together in this episode of Thinking Tackle Podcast Uncut. The lads take a look back on a session that produced 18 carp, close encounters with the country's BIGGEST fully scaled mirror carp (aka their target fish), and a fascinating discussion around rigs, presentations, and how something as small as an inch of hooklink length can completely change the outcome of a session.A week at The Manor, plenty of bites, and a few moments where it genuinely felt like the lake's giant, fully scaled mirror was only one mistake away from getting caught. From fishing clay spots amongst heavy weed to spotting the big fish over the baited area, there were plenty of moments where confidence was sky high - but the result everyone wanted remained just out of reach.
Send us Fan Mail"Can't we just lie down in our power? Do we have to step into it?"That question, offered by Ayurvedic teacher Claudia Welch, sparked everything in this episode. Because when we talk about stepping into our power, we are implying that power is somewhere outside of us — something to reach for, to put on, to earn. But what if that image is wrong? What if our power is not something we need to step into, but something we need to remember? What if it has been there all along — beneath the people-pleasing, the masking, the overriding of our bodies, the making ourselves smaller to fit into a world that was not built for us?In this solo episode I explore:The difference between stepping into power and remembering power — and why that distinction matters deeply, especially in midlifeThe Ayurvedic framework of langhana and brahmana — why we live in a profoundly langhana (outputting, reducing, forward-moving) world, and what we lose when brahmana (nourishing, building, gathering inward) is treated as optionalThe feminine archetypes of power — Durga, Athena, the Maori women — fierce and powerful, but different in nature from the masculineThe layers we are peeling away: people-pleasing, masking, performing wellness, overriding the body's signals, making ourselves smallerThe two hormonal clocks — how testosterone operates on a 24-hour circadian rhythm that the entire modern world was built around, while estrogen and progesterone operate on a 28-day infradian rhythm with four distinct phases, each asking something different from the body and brainWhy researchers excluded women from clinical trials because their monthly hormonal variability was too complicated — and how that shaped an entire model of medicine and productivity that was never designed for a female bodyThe four phases of the feminine cycle and what each one genuinely requires — including why rest must come before output in certain phases, not as a reward for productivity but as a biological prerequisitePerimenopause as initiation — why so many women hit burnout and hormonal transition at the same moment, why the symptoms are not a sign of failure, and why this season is actually an invitation into a deeper relationship with your own powerWhy midlife, when estrogen begins to drop, can bring its own kind of liberation — as certain veils begin to fall away on their ownThe community piece — why coming together with other women and speaking these truths out loud is itself part of reclaiming feminine powerWhy you don't need to figure out how to change the system — and what your one small step is this weekThis episode is for every woman who has ever felt like she couldn't keep up, and wondered what was wrong with her. Nothing is wrong with you. You are simply running on a different clock.Free resources mentioned:Nourished for Resilience Workbook — self-assessment, resourcing ideas, reflection questions, and habit trackerDIY At-Home Weekend Nervous System Reset Template Teachers mentioned: Claudia Welch (Ayurveda, women's health and hormones) — Alisa Vitti (In the Flo, infradian rhythm and cycle syncing)Resources:Free Masterclass: The Alchemy of the Perimenopause PortalAyurvedic Dosha Quick Reference GuideAbhyanga Self Massage GuideWeekend Nervous System ResetNourished For Resilience Workbook Find me at www.nourishednervoussystem.comand @nourishednervoussytem on Instagram
In this episode, I'm joined by Serena Arora, international bestselling author of Unbound: An Immigrant Daughter's Journey of Reckoning, Unraveling Shame, and Reclaiming Her Worth, Ayurvedic health practitioner, yoga therapist of over 25 years, and retreat leader in Costa Rica. Serena's work bridges ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, therapeutic yoga, nervous system resilience, and her own lived experience as the daughter of an Indian father and Chinese mother navigating cultural conditioning, belonging, shame, and self-worth.Together, we explore what it means to become truly unbound from generational expectations, good daughter conditioning, immigrant guilt, and the deeply internalized belief that we must earn love, safety, or belonging by staying inside the box we were handed. Serena shares the powerful story behind her book, including the bound-footed fate of her maternal Chinese lineage and the ways women can still carry inherited restriction, fear, and self-abandonment long after the visible bindings are gone.We also talk about burnout, chronic dysregulation, and the subtle ways women are taught to push harder instead of listening to the body's whispers. Through the lens of Ayurveda and therapeutic yoga, Serena offers a grounded, practical, science-meets-soul approach to healing burnout, rebuilding resilience, and returning to the body as a place of wisdom, truth, and repair. This conversation is a beautiful reminder that sustainable transformation does not come through force, perfection, or constant doing, but through alignment, daily rituals, nervous system support, and learning to pause. In this episode, we explore:Serena's journey as a mixed-race immigrant daughter born to an Indian father and Chinese motherThe inspiration behind Serena's book, Unbound, and why she felt called to tell the deeper story behind her life and workThe emotional weight of carrying family expectations, cultural conditioning, shame, failure, and obligation like a backpackHow “good daughter” conditioning can keep women trapped in lives that look successful on the outside but feel deeply misaligned on the insideWhat it looks like to honor your ancestors and family while still choosing a life that is honest, aligned, and truly your ownThe irony of using wellness, personal growth, spirituality, or self-improvement as another way to push, perform, and over-functionWhy true healing often begins when we stop trying to escape discomfort and learn how to sit with ourselvesHow Ayurveda and therapeutic yoga can support nervous system regulation, resilience, embodiment, and sustainable transformationThe Ayurvedic idea of asking whether a person, food, habit, relationship, or choice contributes to the fabric of your wellbeing or depletes itThe difference between pushing harder and building resilience through alignment, pause, rhythm, and feminine wisdomBe sure to hit subscribe so you never miss the latest episode!Connect with Serena:Learn more about Serena's work, retreats, offerings, and book at: www.serenaarora.comInstagram: @serena_aroraConnect with Emily:Website: www.EmilyReuschel.comInstagram: @emilyreuschelFacebook: Emily ReuschelLinkedIn: Emily ReuschelJoin my Book Insiders List: Sign up here!Resources and Links:Serena's Book: Unbound: An Immigrant Daughter's Journey of Reckoning, Unraveling Shame, and Reclaiming Her WorthSign up here to get the inside scoop to my book writing journey!Book me as a speaker for your next event - email inquiries to emilyreuschel@gmail.com or schedule a call hereWild & Waking – Produced by Jill Carr Podcasting | Learn More
In a crisis, facts sometimes win arguments. But trust wins you the benefit of the doubt, and the benefit of the doubt is what saves you when the story moves faster than the facts.Anne Green sits down with Bradley Akubuiro, partner at Bully Pulpit International and author of the new book Faster, Messier, Tougher: Crisis Communication Strategies in an Era of Populism, AI, and Distrust. Bradley unpacks why the operating environment for leaders has fundamentally changed, how to tell the difference between an issue and a true crisis, and why conviction pays while waffling costs everything. They get into the framework he uses to help clients decide when to lean in, when to stay quiet, and how to match engagement to the actual level of risk in front of them. Bradley and Anne discuss his counsel to leaders to “figure out where you stand and then actually stand there,” so corporate values mean something when they are put to the test. The conversation closes with three practical takeaways for leaders navigating a moment where speed beats polish and resilience is built long before the crisis arrives. In this episode:Why trust and truth are different currencies, and why trust matters more under pressureHow to grade risk and decide whether an issue is actually your story to ownThe case for consistency over volume when standing in your valuesWhy employees are either your greatest ambassadors or your most credible detractors
The shocking scandal rocking Israel's legal establishment is finally getting more attention. In this powerful video, we break down how the Military Advocate General has been protected for over 210 days despite her direct involvement in one of the worst blood libels against IDF soldiers in history. After October 7th, when Hamas livestreamed their atrocities, certain elements within Israel's own institutions turned against our holy soldiers. The Military Advocate General allegedly played a central role in leaking a misleading video that falsely accused IDF troops of rape, a claim that went viral globally and caused massive diplomatic damage to Israel.Yet instead of accountability, she has been shielded by the system. No real investigation. No indictment. No loss of rank. Just a fake “dismissal” while she continues collecting a full pension. This is not an isolated incident. It is part of a dangerous pattern of a “deep state”, unelected officials in the legal, military, and intelligence worlds who work against the will of the Israeli people and their elected government. In this video we expose:The 210-day cover-upHow the system protects its ownThe connection to the broader war against religious and nationalist soldiersWhy this internal corruption is as dangerous as our external enemiesIf you want to understand the real battle happening inside Israel, between those who want a strong, proud, Jewish state and those who want to keep it weak and dependent, this video is a must-watch.The truth is coming out. What does it feel like to lose your voice — literally — right before you're about to claim it?That's exactly what happened to me.I recently returned from the Azores — a volcanic archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic that sits on the St. Michael Ley Line, one of the most energetically potent lines on the planet. I went to rest. To restore. To breathe. The island had other plans.Within days, I lost my voice. And in the stillness that followed, something came through clear and undeniable:This isn't just losing my voice. This is an upgrade. What This Episode Is Really AboutI talk about:The woman I saw in a café in Portugal who stopped the entire room just by walking in — and what she taught me without saying a wordSix years behind this mic amplifying other voices while quietly dimming my ownThe visibility wound — what it is, why so many of us carry it, and why it shows up as perfectionism, waiting, and performing invisibility before anyone else can make us feel itWhy losing my voice in the Azores was the old energy leaving — literally, physically, cellularlyMy "fuck it" moment — the quiet internal shift that changed everythingWhat the Empress archetype actually looks like when you stop waiting for permission and start reigningAnd the thing I know now with absolute certainty:My age is not my liability. It is my greatest credential.IF YOU'VE EVER FELT INVISIBLE, THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU.You're in your 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. You feel the shift happening inside you. You don't want to light a candle and say a mantra — you want to shed your previous skin, reconnect with what got buried, and step into something bigger than what you've allowed yourself to be.This isn't decline. This is initiation. It's not just a returning. It's a becoming. And your reign? It begins internally.Grab the BookIf this episode resonated, Empress Rising is where we go deeper. This is the book I channeled when I woke up one morning and knew that the years ahead — the Empress Years — are not years of diminishing. They are years of expansion. Of invincibility. Of finally owning the wisdom you've spent a lifetime earning.

There's a story I tell clients that gives them goosebumps every single time. It involves me ugly crying on my bed in 2020, an iced latte's worth of frustration, and a request I made to the universe that was so ridiculous, so unlikely, there was no way it could ever come true. A blue panda. The universe delivered 3 days later. And it cracked open everything I thought I understood about subconscious beliefs. I'm talking about the gap between knowing vs believing. This gap is the reason so many of you are stuck in the exact same income, same clients, same ceiling, year after year.Because you can have the qualifications, read the books, follow the coaches, and still find yourself lowering your prices on sales calls and taking 5 days to post one piece of content. That's the gap between knowing vs believing. And the fix lives inside your reticular activating system, not your strategy.By the end of this episode, you'll know exactly which side of that gap you're on. And what it actually takes to cross it.Topics covered on Subconscious Beliefs:The blue panda story, what happens when you ask the universe for a sign so ridiculous it cannot possibly come true, and it does anywayYour subconscious beliefs are running 95% of every decision in your business so better make sure they're aligned with your goalsYour reticular activating system can be your best friend or worst enemy, this is how to hack your brain to help you smash your goalsVision boards, journaling prompts, and New Year's decisions are not enough to shift your subconscious beliefs on their ownThe subconscious mind work I did to build my self beliefConnect with Rebecca Haydon:Apply to work with meThe Subconscious MembershipCome say hi on Instagram | Facebook | YouTubeRelated episodes you may enjoy:117. How to Make Your Big Goals Actually HappenIn this episode, Jen shares what came up for her after hosting the first Business, Bouquets and Branding Workshop on the family farm — a dream she had been thinking about for a long time. Reflecting on that milestone led her to something bigger: how goals actually happen. This is not just an episode about vision boards or dreaming big. It is about the real work behind bringing something to life: intention, planning, chunking big dreams into smaller steps, and building a roadmap you can actually follow.Jen talks about how much progress she has already made on her vision board this year, why using her vision board as a phone screensaver has been such a powerful visual reminder, and how the quarterly review process inside the Floral CEO Mastermind helps keep goals moving forward instead of getting forgotten. She also shares practical examples of how this works in real life — from planning a workshop experience on the farm to researching and bringing home Valais sheep — to show how seemingly huge dreams become possible when you break them into clear, manageable pieces. In this episode:Why dreaming big is not enough on its ownThe difference between vague goals and real executionHow to build a roadmap for a goal you care aboutWhy visual reminders help keep your goals front and centerHow Sunday prep can keep you aligned with what mattersWhy bite-sized action is often the missing pieceHow to stop half-assing your goals and start creating momentumWhy support and accountability matter so much when you want real changeKey takeawayManifesting is not just about wanting something. It is about intention, action, clarity, and putting structure behind the dream. Big goals happen when you stop winging it and start breaking them down into steps you can actually take.Mentioned in this episodeThe Floral CEO Mastermindhttp://floralceo.com/mastermind
Welcome to another episode of Data Debrief, the companion show to Driven by Data: The Podcast, where hosts Catherine Dowden-King and Kyle Winterbottom unpack Tuesday's episode, share what's been on their minds, and explore what's really happening across the data and AI landscape. This week, Catherine and Kyle reflect on the conversation with Peter Everill, diving deeper into the themes that matter most right now, from decision-led data strategies to the realities of operating in an AI-hyped market. They cover:Why the market is becoming saturated with “AI-everything” messaging, and how vendors are losing differentiationThe growing gap between activity and impact, and why many data teams are busy but not moving the needlePeter Everle's decision-making framework, and why focusing on decisions that impact P&L is the only thing that really mattersThe cultural challenge of empowering teams to push back, and why most organisations still operate like a ticketing service deskThe tension data leaders face between challenging the business vs protecting their role, especially under board-level pressure to “do AI”Why this AI cycle feels different from previous hype cycles, and how pressure is now coming from every function, not just ITWhat separates leaders who deliver real commercial value from those who don'tThey also dive into the current hiring market:Why data leadership hiring has become overwhelmingly saturated, with thousands of candidates for a single roleHow CVs are becoming indistinguishable in the age of LLMsWhy job applications are no longer an effective strategy on their ownThe shift from traditional hiring to network-led, trust-based recruitmentAnd what candidates must do differently to stand out in a market that's noisier than everThis episode is a candid look at the realities of data leadership today, where every path carries risk, AI pressure is unavoidable, and success comes down to judgement, influence, and the ability to focus on what truly drives value.

In this episode of Beth of Fresh Air, I'm getting into one of the most powerful aspects of deprogramming:The pattern interrupt. If you've been following along, you know I've been spending time with the work of G. I. Gurdjieff—and for someone who rarely finds great resonance in other systems, I've found a surprising amount of common ground. One of his key insights:For anything to change…it needs an injection of energy.A shock.Without it, patterns continue.Mechanically. Predictably. Repeatedly. In my work as a deprogramming and archetype coach, I'm essentially a professional pattern interruptor. In this episode, I'll explore:What an interrupt actually is (and what it's not)Why patterns don't shift on their ownThe role of “shock” in transformationHow to catch patterns in real time, not just in hindsightThe nuance (and danger) of trying to interrupt other people's patterns
What does recognition actually mean - and what does it change? In this special live episode recorded at Manchester Punk Festival, Diana Safieh is joined by international law expert Dr Emma Luce Scali (University of Manchester, UN consultant) to unpack one of the biggest political headlines of the year: Britain's recognition of the State of Palestine. But beyond the announcement - what does recognition actually do?Drawing on international law, political reality, and lived Palestinian experience, this conversation cuts through symbolism to examine power, enforcement, and what meaningful change would really look like on the ground. What it actually means to be a “state” in international lawWhy recognition is important - but not enough on its ownThe gap between legal status and lived reality in PalestineHow international law works (and why enforcement is its biggest weakness)What the International Court of Justice has said about occupation, apartheid, and illegalityWhy settlements are not just symbolic - but structural and permanentThe role of economics: aid, trade, debt, and financial controlWhy aid alone can reinforce, rather than resolve, injusticeWhat obligations states like the UK already have under international lawWatch or listen on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts - just search Britain Palestine Project.
In this episode, I'm sharing the honest story of my decision to leave the NHS after more than 20 years as a dietitian. This isn't about criticising the system or the profession that shaped my career. The NHS gave me incredible experience, friendships and opportunities that I'll always value. This episode of The Neville Goddard Lectures Podcast features the lecture summary read by Lynna K Teer, and the full original lecture “False Gods” by Neville Goddard. In False Gods, Neville Goddard exposes the subtle ways individuals unknowingly place creative power outside themselves. He explains that “false gods” are anything believed to be the cause of experience other than consciousness itself.Neville reveals how wealth, health, authority, circumstances, other people, and even fate become false gods when they are credited as causes rather than effects. When power is assigned to external conditions, consciousness is divided, and fear, limitation, and dependence follow. He clarifies that the Bible's warnings against idolatry are psychological, not religious. To believe in any power outside I AM is to misunderstand the nature of creation. True worship, Neville teaches, is the recognition of awareness as the only God and the sole source of experience.Key themes in this lecture include:False gods are misplaced assumptions of causationConsciousness as the only creative powerWhy externals have no authority on their ownThe collapse of limitation when power is reclaimed inwardNeville emphasizes that false gods dissolve the moment consciousness withdraws belief from externals and returns authority to imagination. Freedom and mastery arise naturally when awareness is recognized as the cause. This podcast is devoted to preserving and sharing Neville Goddard's original lectures in full, allowing listeners to study his teachings directly as they were delivered. For in-depth study resources, lecture archives, and structured guides on Neville Goddard's teachings, visit NevilleGoddardOfficial.com.To explore practical application of The Law, listen to The Mindset and Manifesting Podcast. For discussions on The Promise and spiritual awakening, listen to The Journey of Awakening Podcast.

This week, Molly breaks down Peter Attia's public response after his name appears more than 1,700 times in recently released Epstein-related documents. The documents include emails and calendar references tying Attia to Jeffrey Epstein over multiple years. While the files do not allege Attia participated in Epstein's criminal sexual conduct, the relationship and tone of the correspondence raise serious questions about judgment, proximity to power, and credibility.Attia, a high-profile longevity figure with a paid membership and major online influence, posted a statement on X that he says was originally written to his staff and shared with patients. Molly walks through the statement nearly line by line to show why a response that leans on legal framing and denial language can fail to meet the public's real concern, which is moral discernment and ethical boundaries. In this episodeWho Peter Attia is and why his credibility is core to his brandWhat it means to be referenced 1,700 times in the Epstein filesThe reputational problem of sustained contact after Epstein's 2008 convictionWhy using one internal letter for public consumption can backfireThe danger of treating a values crisis like a facts-only crisisHow denials and courtroom-style phrasing can read as calculatedWhy intent and explanation rarely repair trust on their ownThe spillover effect occurs when the public starts scrutinizing everything elseThe bottom line lesson for anyone building a reputation onlineWant More Behind the Breakdown? In this classic catch up episode, I'm sharing a life update from Japan. And a chapter that's been one big reset for both me and my husband. We spent weeks apart and it gave each of us space to breathe, re-calibrate and reconnect with ourselves in unexpected ways.I talk about what solitude showed me: my energy, my patterns, my tendencies to “perform,” even when I'm alone. I share the joy of friendship, the lightness that comes with good company, and the power of being around people whose season of life matches your own.I also dive into boundaries (the simple, uncomfortable ones we all avoid), the influence of other people's energy, the routines that ground me here in Japan, and why changing your environment can shift everything. Especially when you're carrying grief, depression or the weight of life. And because it's me… there's also a story about stickler meltdowns, boiled eggs, gluten-free bento boxes and my first experience with Botox. In This Episode, I Cover:How time apart created an unexpected emotional resetWhat solitude can reveal about your energy, patterns, and identityNavigating grief while building a life you loveBoundaries in relationships (the small ones that matter!)How other people's energy shapes your ownThe routines and rituals supporting me in JapanA real-life example of saboteur contagion (stickler edition)And yes… my honest update on getting Botox for the first timeKey TakeawaysSolitude gives you data you can't access when you're performing for othersA reset often begins with a change of environmentProtecting your morning energy mattersNourishing friendships can shift your internal stateYou can hold grief and joy at the same timeBoundaries are a form of clarity, not conflictYou can find more resources and information on my website: kayaramjee.com

Raised primarily in rural China, Faith Jones went a myriad of ab*ses before finally escaping The Children of God cult to pursue higher education. The cult is known for its far too liberal views on s*xuality which ended up being forced polyamory and free love, even extending to the young members of the communes. She grew up singing on the streets or performing in restaurants to make money for “the family” as none of the adults had jobs. Once she left, she was able to become a lawyer and now speaks on the moral principles that primarily focus on the property rights of self.
