Happy June and 49th episode release with a special message. In this episode , Victoria will provide important updates and will cover the sad missing case of an Everett, Washington multiracial (Native American, Black, and White) young adult woman. For over 10 years, Sarah Collins has been searching for her daughter, Emily Kelsey Collins after reporting her missing in 2009, hoping she wasn't murdered. Kelsey was reported to have gone missing just three weeks after testifying against her traffickers. Welcome to another amazing episode with Kristin Howard and her wonderful family. In season 3, episode 4 we heard facts and truths shared about Kristins life in and exiting the game while her family was there. It wasn't easy as they explained it but they realized she was being sex trafficked, not just stripping, by who all thought was just her "boyfriend". This is common but not talked about especially within marginalized communities. In this episode, we are going to dive deeper into helpful conversations to aid parents and siblings whose loved one is in the life and how to support them. This is an uncommon conversation and we are here to speak truths so that we have real awareness and impactful ways to be the support thats lacking for the sisters, daughters, sons, and brothers out there needing to leave that life. Many thanks to Kristins parents, Liz and Kenny and her brave younger sister Kaila who truly helped correct a narrative and give voices to the families who we often dont see or hear. Many blessings as they want to help families who also struggled with how to help and keep their loved ones from going back to that life. Honored to support survivors during Mental health Awareness month. Unseen was able to provide a safe space for Antare's truths as it his first time speaking publicly of depression, suffering in silence, child sexual abuse and intrafamilial trafficking. He will share that speaking up and saying it loudly helps along the healing journey AND so does journaling. He states writing and journaling saved him, sharing the power of pen to paper, and that with every word there is healing. The dark truths of intrafamilial trafficking perpetrated by his father for evil pleasure and not money continues to raise cause for concern and immediate attention and awareness. More people should know the truths of trafficking and how it affects many people, some that are still suffering and trying to understand the complexities of what happened to them. Porn is used for grooming victims especially by pedos and traffickers. Lets also be afraid that porn increase the demand!!!! Could is also be used to groom future "Johns/ Buyers"??? Listen to Paul speak with Victoria on this . He will share truths about his exposure to porn and his long history of trying to quit for moralistic, guilt, shame, health reasons, and objectification. Paul will talk about therapy, sustainable recovery, and overcoming over spiritualizing recovery! We've acknowledged online exploitation, sextortion, and online grooming, now pornography could potentially be killing our young people and children, creating severe mental health concerns, and vastly creating false depictions and narratives of consent, sex, and love.Paul hopes to put his advocacy skills to work not only in Mexico City with El Pozo De Vida but in animation to tap in an unseen area of prevention. His idea is for prevention possibly in schools with education on the effects of pornography. He hopes to raise that awareness, have low barrier conversations with young students, and be a resource to answer tough questions so many arent alone and left in the dark.. Description: Warning: Listener Discretion is Highly Advised. Content is not suitable for young audiences. Mature Listeners Only.We know what Unseen is about... and we dont need to tell you sex trafficking, labor trafficking, pedophilia rings, and other malicious sex cults are evil, dark, and scary. But there are survivors that overcome and have faced those evils and telling their story of surviving, is winning and needed. Listen to a silenced story of painful memories of being adopted by individuals who forced trafficking upon a child and found ways to suppress, silence, and bury his voice for many years. He speaks after realizing last year that he can now speak and share his story to reach that other male, hetero survivors who may also be silencing their story. He will describe the hard, dark truths of grooming ,conditioning by ways of drugs like trading, mental health lapses such as dissociation and having a disability brought on by the former legal guardians (We cant even call them parents, adopted parents, or caregivers). So much information was discussed that it was decided to break it into two parts. Part two will uncover more evil by professionals in the workplace, in schools, in medical spaces, and perpetrators amongst us in the community.
