It's the final! We finally made it! Who thought we'd ever manage to see this through? In this bumper episode, Paul and Lorenzo are joined by the majority of past guests to vote on the final rankings - Eurovision-style - and decide which Foo Fighters song truly is Best of Foo. There's a lot to cover so pour yourself a number of hot or cold drinks, get comfortable and prepare for the last ride as we fall down a Foo Fighters-shaped rabbit hole. Huge thanks to this episode's guests: Ally McCrae, Duncan Robertson, Eddy Walsh, Martin Johnston, Philip Ivers, Ross Stewart and Tom Fraser. Plus our pals who couldn't make it: Amandah Wilkinson, Chris Gallagher, Marcus MacLeod and Stuart Dougan. Best of Foo will return for some one-off episodes down the line. Thanks for listening!

This episode is all about what we (and you, our excellent listeners) are missing. Cassi and Roisin put out the calls on their socials (boke, Roisin hates that phrase) and we thought we'd make a whole episode based on the responses. Kick off by reminiscing about all the things we love, hate and miss about nights out. Serious discussions over the girls toilets in clubs. As a planner, the benefits of now needing to book everything! Roisin gets raging about spin class etiquette (and nudity in gyms) Pandemic Public Transport woes Cassi's #40 bus story. We get all autumnal John The Bomb. You are going to want to strap in for this episode, we had so much fun recording it. Laura Anderson has lived the dream of so many, be that Love Island fame or jet-setting around the world working for an airline, to living in Dubai or London. After recently moving back to Glasgow, she joins Cassi and Roisin on this week's edition of the club. More importantly though… what does she love, what does she hate? From queue jumping to yachts, people that stand up too soon on planes to an extreme love of tea, Laura delivers it all as the ladies get into some big chats about The Social Dilemma, the story of her Dad during Love Island and how she feels about people suggesting she should have done certain things by a certain age in her life, and how that version of ageism affects her. Also, look out for Cassi's Deal or No Deal Story…! Along with most of the nation, Selling Sunset on Netflix has been a firm lockdown obsession in 2020, and in this episode of the Love Hate Club Cassi and Roisin get to ask all the stuff you've always always wanted to know about the team as they get to hang out with the Mary Fitzgerald (everyone's secret favourite on the show) to discuss LA-life, how much of the commission they really make, her husband, her wedding, the new found fame, million dollar mansions, crushed velvet, lava lamps, and how being a real estate agent really isn't as easy as everyone seems to think! Mary is a legend. We love Mary. Roisin compared her past life as a shot girl to being a million dollar realtor. That's all you need to know really. BONUS CHAT: after the conversation with Mary, we've included some extra Cassi and Roisin time. They've had a tough week, and we thought you'd want to know about it, so stick around for that. We return! In the year that has already caused seismic changes to life, let alone the music industry, we (Sophie and Ally) are back with a new series of conversation with the best and the brightest music managers operating right now around the world. We start with a biggie - Ben Mawson, co-CEO of Tap Management, who look after Dua Lipa, Lana Del Ray and an impressive roster of global talent. Ben gives us the intel on Dua Lipa’s 2020 album campaign, one of the first big acts to release (a globally chart topping) album in a pandemic world, to great success, but with a lot of big decisions to be made. The former lawyer also tells the story of meeting Lana in New York, long before Video Games, and how they’ve grown together. So many insights, so many stories, it’s good to be back in your feed. How Did You Manage That? Is a podcast made by Ally Mccrae and Sophie Paluch, in partnership with the Music Managers Forum, for the good of managers, musicians and aspiring industry pros of the future. https://themmf.net/ We also bring you a new feature this series thanks to an excellent music and media startup Small Green Shoots, who will be tipping us with a new act we should know about right now from their office stereo. Joining Cassi and Roisin to dissect all that, is Glasgow-based and Leicster-born Jess Tedds (aka JustJessFood), who has grown a massive following on Instagram for her super easy to follow quickfire recipes. She lets us know all about her food based loves and hates, the girls chat health kicks, calorie counting, restaurants in a post-Covid-19 world, as well as the, slightly off topic but incredible story of climbing MOUNT KILIMANJARO last year! Cassi also let's the world in on her secret skills as a Katsu Curry master, while Roisin explains her hatred of awful loud eaters and why sitting too close to people in restaurants was never her vibe before social distancing! What happens on holiday, stays on... the podcast. Dodgy tattoos, holiday anthems, iffy cocktails, tour nicknames, completely irrational late night fall-outs (cough, Cassi) and memories to last a lifetime. This summer was meant to see Roisin head off on her first gals trip to Ibiza, the White Island, (but, you know... global pandemics take priority). A lot of us might be missing the beaches this year, so come get nostalgic for the sunburn and salty margaritas in our own super-club, for an episode that is heavy on the love (with only one or two holiday hates) as Cassi and Roisin chat all things girlie group holidays in the sun, what could go wrong? In another meeting of the club filled with big obsessions and petty annoyances, Cassi and Roisin are joined by internationally mega-famous actor, Outlander star, philanthropist, marathon runner, possible next James Bond, and painfully handsome Scottish human, Sam Heughan. Currently locked down at home in Glasgow, he let us in on how he's been passing the time, got slightly worried about Cassi's revelation (and one of Roisin's for that matter). On top of discussing all his loves, (like old school dance records and tomato sauce on eggs) and hates (like Zoom calls!), he gave us a few stories about co-stars, sex scenes, his new TV show based around slagging his best mate and told us all about an unfortunate incident he once had on-stage dressed as Batman… The Love/Hate Podcast is hosted by Cassi Gillespie and Roisin Kelly Produced by Ally McCrae and Ross Semple (BBC Scotland) Senior Producers are Kirsty Drain and Paul McFadyen Exec Producer is Anthony Browne Commissioned by Jonathan Kanagasooriam and Louise Kattenhorn for BBC Sounds

Comedian Fern Brady joins the club as the first guest chatting loves and hates of being a stand up, getting chickens named after yourself, being a Scot living in London, growing up in Bathgate and why girls breaking into comedy shouldn't be a pure riddie. Oh, and half way through Fern thought Roisin was a stand-up comic, which she's already added to her LinkdIn, so happy days, that's a thing. After a record-breaking summer in terms of support for the international game, the UK's Women's Super League kicked off the 19/20 season with the first ever Manchester Derby in the WSL. It was also the first time fans were segregated in the league's history, so in this episode, podcasters Tamsin and Helen, who run the excellent 'Two Girls Talk Balls Podcast', ask if segregation in the support will help the women's game. With the help of some of some of England's international players, they engage in a wider conversation about whether or not it needs the rivalry and tribalism, synonymous with the men's game. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? This episode was written, recorded and hosted by Helen Roberts-Hardy and Tamsin Connor, and edited by Christian Allen. Our regular Original Pilot Material Podcast host Amelia Bayler, a stand up comic by trade, takes over and takes us back to her first six months of deciding to lose the booze. Amelia found herself having to completely reevaluate her life and personality, describing the period as "puberty happening all over again". She takes us through the nights out, the fashion / identity crisis, the energy drink obsession and how the decision affected her work, brought together with some "bangers" of her own and a sit down with fellow sober-comedian Martin Bearne. The first time we chatted to Mairead about maybe making an Original Pilot Material episode together she told us, at length about her love of complaining, then proceeded to crack us up with her current 'open cases', and that got us all thinking about complaining. It's so easy now, it's almost second nature thanks to social media, is it a super customer-empowering new dawn or are we all just becoming even more entitled and easily offended? Mairead takes us through her world of complaints as she meets a psychologist, catches up with her friends who think she needs to calm down, and a recent winner of the UK's Complaint Handlers awards...! Yes, another year, another total shambles of a podcast. Oddly enough, the one time this has been even vaguely together was the one year the BBC happened to show up to film it. How we managed to get it together for that one occasion I have no idea. Maybe the TV cameras scared us into behaving.Anyhow, this year's podcast is probably the biggest shambles since the very first SXSW podcast. We are joined, at various times, by Mrs. Toad, Young Ian, Pandy from Gerry Loves Records, Ben Soep, the managers of Tango in the Attic and We Were Promised Jetpacks, as well the BBC's ultra-credible and in-no-way-inebriated Ally McCrae who definitely wasn't still a total shambles from St. Mirren's League Cup win earlier in the day. And that's before the usual subjects as myself, Vic Galloway, Peej and Stuart from Creative Scotland. We were a few Margaritas down already, and it only got worse during the podcast, honestly. I am not sure this tells you much about SXSW, but it sure gives you a pretty clear idea of what it does to people. 01. Paws - Sore Tummy (00.22)02. Doe Paoro - Hallelujah (07.49)03.
