It's the conclusion of the pilot as we discuss Stargate Atlantis, Rising - Part 2. The rising of the city of Atlantis from the bottom of the ocean to the surface is one of the most beautiful visual effects shots in the entire franchise. It's gorgeous.   We really appreciate the fact that people have actual conversations in this and don't just yell at each other when they disagree. Seeing the wraith for the first showed we have a properly scary villain for the first time.   Do you like Gateship or Puddle Jumper better? We honestly think Gateship is a good name!   This is a really great opener to a new show in a familiar franchise.
