Rob and his friends stayed long enough to see three towering figures step out from the tree line, the largest close to eight feet tall. His experiences didn't end in the wilderness. During a 2017 eclipse trip that took him past Area 51, Rob and his friends saw bright camera-flash bursts flicker in different spots across the night sky.
