Allison Marie Volk is the writer and star of the independent dark comedy with a touch of romance called, Deany Bean is Dead. A woman who still has a deep infatuation with her ex-fiance Tom (Christopher Glenn Cannon), who is now engaged to Angela (Sarah Siadat) as she crashes their engagement party. Alas, all isn't well in Deany's life, along with stalking her former lover, she has to deal with her tyrannical, Australian boss, Maxine Williams (Wendy Wilkins), who has a near death experience due to a peanut allergy. If you think that's the entire plot, then wait until you meet Myron (Colin Taylor Martin, Volk's real life husband) and every other possible twist that makes this comedy well worth the VOD asking price. We caught up with Volk after having not spoken to her since Disney's The Lone Ranger red carpet at Disney's California Adventure several years back, cracked a few jokes and tried our hardest not to give away too many spoilers as their is just so much to talk about in regards to this 90-minute film. Deany Bean is Dead comes to VOD on Friday, July 10, 2020. #DarkComedy #AllisonMarieVolk #IndieFilm #RomCom #VOD
