http://www.attractionchecklist.com - Join me as I head to EPCOT to see for the first time and bid farewell to the nighttime spectacular Harmonious on this episode of Attraction Checklist. Attraction audio recorded on February 25, 2023. TRANSCRIPT: Welcome to Attraction Checklist. This episode we experience EPCOT's current (as of this recording in March of 2023) nighttime spectacular Harmonious. There are no age or height requirements for Harmonious and the guide map describes it by saying, “Discover how Disney music and stories have the power to bring people from all around the world together to unlock the magic of possibility.” There is no thrill level listed for this attraction. Before we head to World Showcase Lagoon, here are 5 more fast facts about Harmonious. 1. Harmonious was announced at the D23 Destination D event in 2018. It was set to replace EPCOT Forever in 2020 but was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. After a few test performances, Harmonious officially debuted on October 1, 2021. The show replaced Epcot Forever which we covered on episode 94 of this podcast. 2. The show make use of pyrotechnics, choreographed water fountains, lasers, searchlights, floating set pieces and LED screens 3. The show's barges are collectively known as The Compass. The four arc-shaped barges are named after the nearest intersecting World Showcase pavilion. They are Mexico, Germany, Canada and France. The center platform holds a six story tall ring that houses a high pressure water curtain for show projections. 4. An album featuring the show's soundtrack was released by Walt Disney Records on October 29, 2021. 5. On September 11, 2022, Disney announced that Harmonious would have it's last performance on April 2, 2023, to be replaced by the returning Epcot Forever. Let's check out Harmonious at EPCOT. This recording captures the first (and last) time I'll be seeing the show so I'll give you my thoughts afterwards. This is a binaural recording so If you have headphones, put them on now as we experience Harmonious at Walt Disney World's EPCOT! Happy Friday, everyone! Today Mike, Pam, and Rikki discuss if and how the changes that Disney announced last week for Walt Disney World will change our next trip to Florida! Will Harmonious and Enchantment going away and being replaced by Epcot Forever and Happily Ever After keep us in the parks until closing? Will we make a special trip just to ride Tron in April? Will we now rent a car or change how we get to/around Walt Disney World now that parking is included with your resort stay? Will not having to make park reservations as AP holders after 2:00 PM change anything in how we tour the parks? Hear these and a few other topics discussed on today's show! Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week there was so much news, we decided to make it the full episode. Tune in next week for our full recap of our Disney trip and the Dopey Challenge. The Disney Dining Plan has been nonexistent since pandemic, but now Disney is offering some dining promotions up to $750 at no extra cost. We know “Happily Ever After” was coming back, but now we have a date! April 3 is the day! Epcot Forever will also be returning April 3. But possibly the biggest news is that the barges are going bye bye! Speaking of Disney shows, “Avengers: Power the Night” drone show will be running in Parisian on the Tower of Terror for their 30th anniversary grand finale from January 28 through May 8. This show will feature 500 drones making iconic items from he MCU like Cap's shield, Ironman's repulsers, and Dr. Strange's sling ring. In a strange turn of events…Disney is cutting costs for guests. Yes, you read it correctly. Over in Disney World, there will be complimentary parking at hotels, relaxed passholder reservations after 2, and Genie+ will include attraction photos. For the 100th anniversary, Disneyland in California will allow park hopping at 11 and free attraction photos starting February 4th. They will also offer two months' worth of $104 days. And in the last piece of Disney news for now, Reedy Creek changed the land usage plan, which will allow them to create space for another theme park, if they'd like. We speculate on what this might mean. As always, thank you so much for listening! Don't forget to check us out on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode or support us on Patreon. Have a magical week!

In the 138th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn and Dave are trying to catch their breath from a solid day of announcements and headlines that hit on Tuesday... so they break down ALL the Disney Surprises tossed at us in a single day! First, Dave continues to sing the praise of the Captain America trilogy and Jenn continues to not have seen them, and they dive right into the stories of the day... Tron Lightcycle has an opening date! And a new theory on when Annual Passes may return. Happily Ever After is returning! Disney Enchantment is going away! We compare the two, and discuss Epcot Forever's return, and why Epcot HarmonioUS couldn't get over Stargate and Taco Barges Disneyland moving its Park Hopping times to earlier in the day, and could that -- plus AP holders getting a benefit on park hopping too -- translate to Disney World? The parking is now complimentary again, and why this is a huge deal! And the Disney Dining promo, how it breaks down, and what it all means. Finally, Adventures by Disney River Cruises! Plus, a total rabbit trail on Voyage of the Little Mermaid, what could go in that space, and more randomness as we are known for.

Spoiler Alert: This episode is going to be brutal. We had sound issues we weren't aware of until after the fact, resulting in an echo over my voice throughout the first 15 minutes, and then much of the last hour. It's so frustrating, but this is also a fun episode and I didn't want it - or the time we took to recoed it - to completely go to waste. If you can get through it, please do. If you can't take it, I totally understand.
On this week's delayed show, we step into Epcot for the evening to finally get around to see Harmonious which is the replacement nighttime show for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and EPCOT Forever.
