What if you've done all the “right things” but still feel off? In this episode, Sierra shares how joining TIS gave her the space she didn't know she needed — a place to slow down, feel deeply, and finally bring her head and heart together. The thing is, Sierra thought investing in herself was selfish. She was used to giving everything away—to her students, her church, her school. But underneath the serving was exhaustion, resentment, and deep loneliness.TIS gave her the tools to say no with confidence. To stop performing. To rest. To trust herself. And to finally feel seen—in community, in coaching, and in her relationship with God.“This work seeped into every part of my life,” she shares. “I'm not the same woman I was two years ago.”Sierra walks us through the unseen ache so many high-achieving women carry — and what it meant for her to slow down, let go of control, and allow herself to feel again. In this episode:What made Sierra say “yes” to TIS after following for monthsWhy emotional processing was a game-changerHow shifting from performing to presence brought healingThe power of group coaching and spiritual sisterhoodA new way to approach growth: with curiosity, not shameThe deep healing that happens when you're finally safe enough to feelStraight fire from Sierra “Saying no to good things allowed me to say yes to the right things.”“I didn't even know how to rest. I was just stuck in go-mode.”“I was volunteering for everything because I was clinging to spiritual motherhood—and I was lonely.”“There was so much shame in not hitting milestones alongside my friends. Coaching helped me name it and move through it.”“I used to think, ‘I'm just invisible.' But that was a lie I carried alone for too long.”“I thought I'd invest in this and get nothing out of it. Instead, it changed everything.”“For the first time, I didn't just survive another wedding. I celebrated—and I felt free.”When she joined TIS, she didn't expect much.“This is probably another course that won't help me,” she thought. But something inside whispered: try anyway. What happened next surprised her.“I didn't know how badly I needed to be seen until I was actually seen.”“It wasn't about becoming someone else. It was about coming home to who I already was.”This is the kind of transformation we've seen over and over again inside TIS. We'd love to hold space for you, too.Early bird doors open May 29 with $200 off through June 7. Doors close to TIS June 12. Stay in the know here. And don't forget—our two live workshops are coming up:✨ Identity: Remembering Who and Whose You Are⏰ Thursday, June 5 at 7pm CT / 8pm ET
In a powerful callout, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed Congress and the White House over insider trading. Elected officials shouldn't hold stocks—period. While Martha Stewart went to prison for it, members of Congress routinely outperform the market, raising red flags of insider trading. Donald Trump, for example, told people to buy stocks just before pausing tariffs, triggering a historic $304 billion windfall for billionaires, according to Bloomberg. How many people did Trump tell in private before hitting send on that social media post? Because that would be insider trading. Corruption flows freely in America—like cheap wine at Mar-a-Lago. Now, MAGA Republicans are pushing the SAVE Act, requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. It's voter suppression dressed up as security. Noncitizen voting is extremely rare, but this bill could disenfranchise millions—including women who changed their names for marriage and trans Americans. It's essentially a poll tax, nationalizing Jim Crow. Democrats could stop it in the Senate—unless a handful cave. Four House Democrats already backed it. If passed, this could become the next Citizens United, further empowering oligarchs like Elon Musk and paving Trump's path to authoritarian rule. What can you do? Show up. Protest. Call your senators, especially those who caved on the budget battle. Demand accountability. And yes, let's talk about AOC primarying Chuck Schumer or Kirsten Gillibrand—New York, an the nation, deserves better. For more on how to fight back, check the Gaslit Nation Action Guide at GaslitNationPod.com. Join us Monday, April 14, for a salon on defeating oligarchy, with special guests–Patrick Guarasci and Sam Roecker, senior advisors to Judge Susan Crawford's victorious Wisconsin Supreme Court campaign. Adrian has been on the frontlines fighting for democracy both at home and abroad. In his critically acclaimed book Battleground Ukraine, he traces Ukraine's struggle for independence from the fall of the Soviet Union to Russia's genocidal invasion today, drawing important lessons for protecting democracies worldwide. He has worked alongside civil rights legend Bayard Rustin and the AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in America. He also supported Poland's Solidarity movement, which helped bring down the Iron Curtain, and played a key role, along with iconic Soviet dissident, writer, and Czech statesman Václav Havel, in preserving Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in the 1990s, when many thought the Cold War had ended. In part one of their discussion, Andrea and Adrian explore how Europe and the free world can survive the chaos of Trump's America First isolationism and Russia's weaponized corruption and election interference. In part two, they discuss the PayPal Mafia's war on Ukraine as part of a broader global assault on "wokeism" (a.k.a. empathy and democracy), Adrian's impressions of meeting Curtis Yarvin, and how the war in Ukraine can ultimately end.
