The Kinda Nerdy Girls Podcast is an absolute gem for anyone with a love for all things nerdy. Listening to this podcast feels like having a hilarious and informative conversation with your super funny friends. The topics they discuss are enthralling and their banter keeps you engaged throughout the entire episode. It truly is a must-listen for any nerd out there.
One of the best aspects of The Kinda Nerdy Girls Podcast is the chemistry between the hosts, KJ and Katie. Their dynamic is spot-on and their conversations flow effortlessly. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about their nerdy subjects and provide insightful commentary. Additionally, KJ's involvement in the entertainment industry adds an extra layer of interest to the show.
Another highlight of this podcast is the humor infused into every episode. The hosts have a knack for making even the most mundane topics entertaining with their witty jokes and hilarious tangents. Their light-hearted approach creates a fun and enjoyable listening experience that will leave you laughing out loud.
However, one downside to this podcast is that at times it can veer off on too many tangents, which can be distracting for some listeners who prefer a more focused discussion. While the banter adds to the charm of the show, it may not appeal to those looking for a strictly informational podcast.

Hello, Kinda Nerdy fans! In our latest episode, we had an absolute blast podcasting live from PopCon in Indianapolis. It was a special episode filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and of course, all things nerdy! Joined by Tia from Geek Vibes Nation, we celebrated her first in-person appearance on the podcast, which added an extra layer of excitement to our discussions. We kicked off the episode with a fun anecdote about my less-than-stellar singing encounter with John Barrowman, setting the stage for a day filled with fandom and excitement. The episode was packed with highlights from PopCon, including our interactions with stars like Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, and the actors from "Lord of the Rings." I shared a particularly memorable moment from the Andy Serkis panel, where he revealed the unexpected inspiration behind Gollum's voice—a cat having a hairball! We also delved into our fundraising efforts for Indie Neighborhood Cats, featuring exclusive "Lord of the Rings" art cards, and discussed the incredible array of activities available at PopCon, from gaming panels with the voices behind Red Dead Redemption and GTA V to unexpected delights like darts and wrestling. Our discussions were peppered with personal stories and reflections on how PopCon brings different fandoms together in a unique and inclusive way. We wrapped up the episode feeling grateful for the community, the shared passions, and the new memories we created. Thank you to everyone who joined us live, and for those who missed it, be sure to catch up on this unforgettable episode. Until next time, stay kinda nerdy!

Calling in to talk with KJ about his fun show, Split Second on the Game Show Network, John Michael Higgins was more than happy to get sidetracked talking about puppies! In fact, he had one on his lap as we were talking! KJ TODAY is bringing you the positive vibes of pop culture, people to know and pets! Subscribe for the Vibe: youtube.com/kjtoday ABOUT JOHN MICHAEL HIGGINS: Best known for his hilarious, show-stealing performances in Christopher Guest's "Best in Show" (2000) and "A Mighty Wind" (2003), actor John Michael Higgins almost shot his career in the foot when he played David Letterman in the HBO docudrama, "The Late Shift" (1996), a behind-the-scenes look at the struggle between Letterman and rival Jay Leno (David Roebuck) for Johnny Carson's prized chair on "The Tonight Show." The real Letterman expressed his loathing of the movie in general and the actor's performance specifically, calling Higgins a "psychotic chimp." Letterman even bumped him from his late night talk show, "The Late Show with David Letterman" (CBS, 1993-2015), after inviting him on to be a guest. Actors of lesser caliber may have been stuck doing bit parts but Higgins' talent for both comedy and drama allowed him thrive on stage and screen as a dependable character actor in hit films like "Pitch Perfect" (2012) and co-starring on sitcoms such as the Tina Fey-created "Great News" (NBC 2017- ).
Honestly whenever we get together it's pure chaos! Happy holidays from your favorite nerdy girls!
